"Remember the human factor here. Now, because they were born in another country and are here illegally, these DREAMers are going to have to return to a country they don't know along with their parents. Now, that is what is sad" said Sen. Bill Nelson, D:FL.
No Sen. Nelson!
What is sad is that I am living in a country I don't know, exhibited every day now as I drive down S. Orange Ave in Orlando, where radical Islamic terrorists murdered 49 of our fellow citizens.
Yet, you and Obama continue to let thousands of refugees ISIS said they would infiltrate into America.
Sen. Nelson, you are nothing short of despicable!
Instead of worrying about the status of illegal immigrants currently here, how going after ISIS and sealing our border to help prevent the next terrorist attack perpetrated against the legal citizens of this country?

Welcome Home!
Late last Friday evening, word got out the Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, the US Marine being held in Mexico for taking a wrong turn at the border, had been released. And indeed he has.
Welcome Home Sgt. Tahmooressi!
While we are certainly thrilled to have Sgt. Tahmooressi back home, we can only imagine what pain and suffering our beloved US Marine was exposed to during what I consider to be a kidnapping. There is no doubt Sgt. Tahmooressi will face hurdles as he tries to move forward in his life, and we offer our full support and best wishes in his endeavor.
The citizenry of our nation should be appalled that this whole ordeal ever happened in the first place. For a citizen, much less a Marine, to be held in Mexico in the fashion he was by our supposed friend and neighbor Mexico is very troubling.
Of much more concern is that apparent lack of attention paid to this matter by our Commander in Chief, who seems to have done next to nothing to persuade the Mexican authorities to release the innocent Marine. One might surmise, that with all the help we give Mexico on an annual basis, President Obama would have a great negotiating position to fight for his release. By all accounts, and I will stand corrected should information come out to the contrary, Obama was not willing to engage Mexico regarding the release of Sgt. Tahmooressi.
Florida Senator Bill Nelson did not appear to be concerned about the plight of Sgt. Tahmooressi either, troubling since Sgt. Tahmooressi is from Weston down on the west coast of Florida. How sad.
Perhaps the strongest advocate for the release of Sgt. Tahmooressi was FOX News Greta Van Susteren, who continued to present his story on FOX News Channel while most media outlets buried the story. Others of note who I know helped keep the story alive were Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Oliver North, Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin.
Rep. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) and Duncan Hunter (R:CA) worked hard to get Sgt. Tahmooressi released. Those who were present and most helpful in his release were Sgt. Robert Buchanan, Rep. Matt Salmon (R-AZ.), former governor Bill Richardson (D:NM), Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA) and former Marine and talk show host Montel Williams, who is among the most vocal advocate for the veterans of this nation.
It is worth noting that Sgt. Tahmooressi's mother, Jill Tahmooressi, worked tirelessly for the release of her son. Tonight, they are together enjoying a beautiful evening here in The Sunshine State. God Bless them both!

Hail To The Redskins
The fact that the world is on fire matters not to a powerful ruling class, who know they are on the verge of major gains in their attempt to turn America into a tyrannical oligarchy. The scandals, are not really scandals, as they are a means to an end to crash the system as defined through the Cloward and Piven strategy.
You would think our President would be spending most waking moments dealing with the potential loss of Iraq, and the consequences there of. No, he is golfing, and fundraising, and amidst all the chaos, has escalated his effort to transform America.
Case in point; the ruling yesterday by the US Patent Office, without question at the direction of President Obama, cancelling the trademarks of the Washington Redskins of the National Football League. The Redskins, who have their own fight song, are among the most established, traditional and lucrative brands around.
Shall we back up and follow the trail, Indian style, on how this orchestrated event came to pass. Make no mistake; it is on the command of the Obama regime.
Late last fall, as reported by The New York Times, President Obama weighed in claiming "legitimate concerns over Redskins name". TheTimes noted that in response to a letter presented by 10 congressional members that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wrote back saying the Redskins name was “a unifying force that stands for strength, courage, pride and respect.”
A month or so ago, 49 members of the US Senate, all Democrats, wrote the Roeger Goodell urging the league to endorse the change of the Redskins' name. Democrat Florida Senator Bill Nelson, who as far as I know has not lifter finger to earn the release of Sgt. Andrew Tahmoorhessi, one of his constituents, from captivity in Mexico, took time to write his own letter as he was unavailable to sign with the other members.
Meanwhile, the 2014 College Football National Champion Florida State Seminoles, although having presented several dates for consideration, have been unsuccessful in the planning the traditional nation champion visit to the White House. As an alumni of Florida State University, I am fine skipping an afternoon with Obama, but the inability for the White House to make this tradition happen, given the attack on the Redskins name, raises the eyeballs.
Last week, again with the middle east on fire, President Obama made a rare presidential visit to an Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota, telling those gathered his "administration is determined to partner with tribes".
Then came the bombshell announcement by the patent office, catching most everyone by surprise.
Redskin owner Daniel Snyder, who reportedly contributed to the Romney campaign in 2012, is in the cross hairs of Obama for steadfastly denying any and all request to consider changing the Redskin name.
The ruling was supposed levied due to the Redskin name being viewed as disparaging by some and considered a racial slur of Native Americans. This is quite ridiculous, as Oklahoma means "red people" and I don't hear a peep about changing the name of the Sooner state or universities within the state.
In fact, the Redskin name came from an effort to honor their inaugural head coach, who was Native American. Opponents of the Redskin name are now calling Lone Star Dietz an "impostor", aiming, to discredit and destroy any and all traditions that get in the way of their objective.
Many sportswriters across the nation have jumped on the bandwagon, with some vowing to not use the Redskin name in their work. This includes longtime NFL writer Peter King and The Kansas City Star newspaper.
George Diaz, of the hometown Orlando Sentinel, penned an utterly ridiculous editorial, which clearly exhibited his liberal bias. While he find the Redskin tradition a relic of the past that needs to be buried, although I champion his right to pen it, I found his column offensive.
Forget the Redskins.
If President Obama was so inclined, perhaps buoyed by a small vocal group, perhaps financially compensated, might he direct the patent office to cancel the trademarks of The Coca Cola Company (KO:NYSE) or the McDonalds (MCD:NYSE) corporation because the First Lady finds their product contributes to obesity?
Although a historical hoax, will President Obama, peeved by the nation continuing to buy SUV's, direct the patent office to cancel the trademarks of Ford and General Motors because they continue to make vehicles that, according to the global warming crowd, are significantly contributing to the demise of the world?
Where will one throw anchor on this slippery slope?
Obama is crashing the system in an effort to gain power over the people. Part of the effort is, as Michelle Obama worded it in 2008, "we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."
Will the history or traditional a powerful elitist from the ruling class want to change be one you value?
Before you join in the celebration of the government, on a whim, leveling attack on private property, you may want to think twice, for there may not be anyone around to protect the tradition you hold dear when the deem it inappropriate.
Hail to the Redskins!

Squeeze The Songbirds
We are approaching the Memorial Day weekend, where most Americans, at least those who remain gainfully employed, will enjoy a three day weekend with family and friends.
A sadly decreasing amount will take time to remember our fallen heroes, who have paved the way for the freedoms our nation currently enjoys. Although our thoughts and prayers are unable to pay adequate respect to these brave souls, they are offered with heartfelt gratitude.
While we have have tens of thousands in service, perhaps in harms way and away from their families and loved ones on this holiday weekend, one US Marine on this day finds himself in a unexpectedly dangerous plight. He is currently being held captive in a Mexican prison, essentially for trespassing and in possession of legal firearms.
Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, who was in San Diego for PTSD treatment, made a wrong turn at the border after dining out with friends and found himself in Mexico, where he sought assistance from the Mexican authorities. Greta Van Susteren has more, including how easy it would have been for a wrong turn to be made at night at the border.
Sgt. Tahmooressi, who served two combat tours in Afghanistan, has now been imprisoned for over 50 days and now fears for his life. In a point of clarification, jails in Mexico make our jails look like an afternoon dining at Taco Bell.
Given the high level of disdain of our military by the Obama administration, I know you would be shocked to learn that there has been no attempt by the administration to reach out to Mexican authorities to rectify the situation.
We will save the disgusting issues surrounding the Veterans Administration for a later post (boy howdy am I torqued), but Obama could use some goodwill in this arena, and obtaining freedom for Sgt. Tahmooressi would seemingly be an easy way to accomplish that. Imagine the photo op!
Secretary of State John Kerry, who served in Vietnam, visited with Mexican authorities today, perhaps championing some global climate change nonsense, but there was no hint of the subject of Sgt. Tahmooressi having been engaged.
Some are working to secure the release of Sgt. Tahmooressi, most notably Rep Duncan Hunter of California. As reported by Investors Business Daily, Hunter, R-Calif., a member of the House Armed Services Committee, has asked Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel to suspend military aid to Mexico, including training, intelligence cooperation and equipment transfers until Tahmooressi is released, a plea that has fallen on deaf ears.
"You have the authority to suspend cooperation with the Mexican military in a number of areas," said Hunter, who served two tours as a member of the Marine Corps in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. "In light of the Mexican government's incarceration of Andrew, I urge you to immediately consider suspending training and equipment assistance to Mexico until Andrew's case is resolved."
What legitimate reason could our President have for not sternly asking for the cooperation of the Mexican authorities in this matter? After all, Mexicans are illegally entering our country, by the hundreds, on a daily basis, usually in possession of illegal narcotics. Should they fail to cooperate, the United States has a myriad of punitive and persuasive actions that could be taken, as their actons have grown quite tiresome.
I think Obama, due to Fast & Furious, is not pressing the issue with Mexican authorities, who might start singing like a songbird if the squeeze is placed on them. You see, in one of the scandals the Democrats think is a political attack, it appears the Obama administration illegal gun-running operation which sold major weaponry to powerful Mexican drug cartels in a backdoor effort to attack the second amendment.
With the help of the communications arm of the administration, otherwise known as the mainstream media, the administration has done a decent job of covering up that impeachable action, and it would certainly be a shame for Mexican authorities to mess that all up now.
The actions of this President with respect to our military is disgusting, and it can no longer be tolerated. Any and all legally permissible action must be taken, and while I doubt it will do any good, I will be placing a call to the offices of each of my Senate representation, Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio, in an effort to get our American hero, Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, home.
I hope you will join me. It is something we all could, and should do, as we enjoy the Memorial Day weekend. If we move fast, maybe Sgt. Tahmooressi can home in time to give the command to start engines Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway for NASCAR's running of the Coca-Cola 600.
We would honored.

The Discrediting of America: Political Adversaries
While President Obama is the face of the Progressive advancement running roughshod over America, there is a well funded massive machine of operatives implementing widespread attacks on those, organizations, corporations and individuals, who stand against their policies. With a basis found in the pages of Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals, aiming to demonize, ridicule and discredit all in opposition, there are no lines that cannot be crossed as the ends justify the means. The tentacles of these ongoing operations extend beyond your wildest imagination. Therefore, BAHL Revere will engage a series of posts alerting our readership of instances in this regard titled The Discrediting of America.
Ronald Reagan once said about the left, "Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so." This cast of characters is not your parents Democrats. And while these elite progressives do think they know what is best for you, or rather isn't so, they are quite sinister and are from honest brokers seeking the best decisions for America.
When this group identifies individuals who pose what they deem as a serious political threat to their objectives, the long knives are unleashed. Sadly, due to the progressivism in both parties, the attacks come from both sides of the aisle.
During the recent presidential campaign, Mitt Romney was falsely accused, by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid no less, of failing to pay his taxes to Uncle Sam. In addition, as reported by The Blaze, a pro-Obama Super PAC Priorities USA on Tuesday released an ad accusing Mitt Romney of being somehow responsible for the death of the wife of Joe Soptic, a former GST Steel employee and a known Obama campaign operative.
Previously, we have chronicled the vicous attacks that came down upon Michele Bachmann (R:MN), who dared to question, upon accurately noting an infiltration of our government by the Muslim Brotherhood, the vetting process of those who work within and closely with our government. You were left wondering who the enemy actually is.
In the hearings to confirm former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel as Defense secretary, freshman GOP Congressman Ted Cruz took it to Hagel, only to be condemned by a slew of Democrats, including Florida Senator Bill Nelson. Progressive republican John McCain, who had earlier admonished Hagel, a former close ally, publicly scolded Cruz. Conservatives have been longing for someone like Cruz to strongly articulate the principles of conservatism. Included among those principles would be to prohibit individuals cozy with our enemies from being appointed to high ranking positions, and Chuck Hagel, (R:NE), is such an individual.
While it is customary for political operatives to launch attacks, the mainstream media frequently uses their platforms to manipulate and nudge a citizenry so whipsawed from swirling events they cannot decipher fact from fiction. NBC has been busted several times for doctoring video tape in recent years, and the Associated Press routinely errors in favor of the progressive angle.
A blatant example recently was The Associated Press printing erroneous comments attributed to Sen. Rand Paul, (R:KY), suggesting he sought to round up illegal immigrants. With Paul a borderline Libertarian, that thought process goes against his core beliefs and should have rang false to those who put forth the article. No such luck. After the public had two days to digest the comments Paul supposedly made, AP released a correction nobody heard or saw.
Without question, the harshest attacks over the Obama first term were launched upon Sarah Palin. Over and over and over again, the mainstream political pundits tell us how stupid and ill-prepared for higher office she is, but given the relentless attacks routinely bestowed upon Palin, one has to wonder why someone so weak commands such attention. Actual fact, the left fears Palin; and they should.
Recently, a story reported Palin, fresh off her contract with FOX News not being renewed, has signed a contract with Al-Jazzera. Several left wing outlets, frothing at the mouth to attack Palin, released the story. One problem; it was false. Somebody get the egg on the face Washington Post on the phone.
Palin had a great time poking fun at these low life Obamabots masquerading as journalists.

For someone lacking the intellectual fortitude to challenge the progressives on the battlefield of ideas, the amount of attention paid to her is astonishing. Given what we are led to believe, this is the equivalent of the Alabama Crimson Tide worrying about the goings on over at Troy State. To anybody who can engage in critical thinking, the truth is Palin is perhaps the one they fear the most.
Shifting gears, while the republicans are presented as those who wish harm on others against the backdrop of the civil progressives who seek to help everyone, the vitriol that comes at Palin should be very revealing for anyone not considered among the three blind mice. Check out these tweets:
These message boards are full of hate from those aligned with the party of inclusion and civility. Since winning the public on the battlefield of ideas is not an option, propaganda laced with ridicule is the avenue of approach for this group.
Michele Bachmann continues to work on issues inclusive of national security and finance, almost always correct in her assessments. Sarah Palin was instrumental in getting several Tea Party candidates elected and continues to be very well respected in conservative circles, set to speak at the upcoming CPAC convention.. Rand Paul is considering a run for the oval office in 2016, and considered a very serous threat given his reach which extends far beyond his fringe father. Ted Cruz, who has yet to unpack his luggage in DC, has come to town on a mission of common sense based on founding principles.
Truth be told, the progressives telegraph who they fear as the most legitimate challengers to expose their true objectives, which are much deeper than most imagine and often at odds with their public rhetoric.
The aforementioned are a handful of progressive opponents who threaten the progressives and need discredited in the public eye. These progressive left are not intellectually challenged, and they operate with precision in manipulating a staggered public.
Friedrich Nietzsche once said “In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.”. With a criminally complicit media riding shotgun, the progressive elites are leading a nation of lemmings from freedom and liberty to dictatorship and socialism.

Nelson Lost in Space
The country is on fire in the aftermath of the current administration embarking on a spending spree to activate social justice, in turn strangling future generations with debt, a fiscal plan that now has Europe in ruins. Unemployment is at post WWII record levels, economic growth is anemic at best and among other meaningful items, there is civil disobedience taking place throughout the US.

One would think it reasonable for our elected representatives to be hard at work in an effort to get Uncle Sam back to strength, helping to get unemployed Americans back to work.
Unfortunately, so little is being done on the Democratic side you might conclude that they are satisfied with the current state of affairs. Not only are our Democratic leaders failing miserably to generate ideas to grow the economy, they are active in efforts to continue the destruction of the capitalist system, by using anything and everything to remain in power. Intentional? You are familiar with the Cloward and Piven strategy are you not?

Here in Florida, US Senator Bill Nelson, (D:FL), has put in long hours to convince Senator Dick Durbin (D:IL) to open an investigative panel on new voting laws passed by Florida. Nelson and Durbin are in agreement that the new laws "will disenfranchise a wide swath of Florida's young, minority, senior, disabled, rural and lo-income voters". Translation; Democrat voters.
Durbin, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights, thinks he should interject his wisdom on how us Floridians go about voting and plans to hold hearings to take a "closer" look at the new voting laws. Even the ACLU is ready to jump in.
Durbin should mind his own business; however, if he were to get involved in voter issues, he may want to call Attorney General Eric Holder and ask him about the thugs in Philadelphia.
Both Durbin and Nelson should be spending their time getting this country back to work, not trying to advance the Obama agenda by protecting fellow Democrats and their politically correct minority districts.
Floridians voted these Amendments into law at the ballot box, which were designed to place strict limits on how legislative and congressional districts can be drawn. Across the nation, and particularly here in Florida, the outlines for districts are gerrymandered and are a mess.
Congresswoman Corrine Brown, (D:FL), was on a mission to stop passage of these Amendments: “I want to make sure that minorities have an opportunity to elect someone of their choice,” she said. “Based on the way the initiative is written, you cannot do that.” Brown's district is first on the list of those that need to be re-drawn, as her district is mostly minority numbered reaching from Jacksonville to Orlando. As I see it, Brown should worried about all Floridians having proper access to casting a ballot, not just minorities. This would presume there is a problem, and there is not.
Here in Orlando, minority clout is at issue in redrawing the Orange County map, which may spur lawsuits. "If they don't have a Latino-majority district, we will absolutely look to go to court,"said Diana Sen, a senior attorney with Latino Justice, a legal advocacy group. "And it doesn't look good."
Not to worry. In a Congressional redistricting proposal, The Orlando Sentinel reports the Florida Senate released a new map which is believed to increase the number of Hispanic lawmakers. Demands for stronger minority representation seems to be favored over natural borders in adherence to political correctness.
These districts need to be redrawn using common sense barriers such as major roads, county lines and section, township and ranges. There should be no consideration given to providing minority groups special boundaries to enhance their voting clout. They are Americans, and Floridians, just like I am, and non of us should be discriminated against.
I have no problem finding my voting precinct or carving out time to get down there and vote. It is not difficult for anyone with the desire. Providing proper identification and a shortened time frame may derail efforts to commit voter fraud, but here in Central Florida local government goes to great lengths to ease the process.
Our country is in great peril, with a level of steady unemployment not seen since the Great Depression. Closer to home here in Central Florida, Obama has destroyed the space program, and on that issue alone, Sen. Nelson, who once flew on the Shuttle, should have parted company with Obama. No such luck. Nelson is obviously worried about other non relevant items, among them standing behind our teleprompter in chief as he transforms our exceptional nation from being the beacon of freedom around the world.
With Sen. Nelson so vitally concerned about the opportunities of us Floridians to get to the ballot box unimpeded, he should know many of us take great pleasure in voting. Certainly, I view it as a responsibility and will be the first person at my precinct on November 2012 when the front door opens at 7AM. After voting against Obama, my next vote is for Connie Mack against Nelson, whose tenure as a representative of Florida should go down with the sunset over Paynes Prairie.
