Cruz Apparently Been Cruzin!

The media has gone hog wild over the National Enquirer cover suggesting Ted Cruz has "five" mistresses!

Cruz is quite the ladies man!  Who knew?

But the media is falling all over themselves to inform you of all the sordid details, just as soon as they find any.  Don't worry, it continues to be reported that rumors are being reported, with sources nobody know who know.

Yes, the National Enquirer did hit a home run, exposing former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards for the scum bag we always knew him to be.

But, the media is really overheating on Cruz.

Man, I don't recall even a mention when a tabloid exposed Obama for his gay activities, which at least to this point, have substantially more evidence behind them than the story about Cruz does.

Was there widespread media attention to this story reported in World Net Daily, with more reported HERE. Did anyone alert the media to this most troubling account?  What about his relationship with his former associate Reggie Love and others?

The media is biased at a minimum but actually complicit backing those in power who are participant in the destruction of our nation.

Oh well, nothing to see here. Ted Cruz is the new Brad Pitt. Carry on.

Media Smear Merchants

Fresh from Tennessee losing at the Rose Bowl to UCLA, former Senator Fred Thompson (R:TN) is in a foul mood when it comes to media pontificators slamming GOP Vice Presidential pick Sarah Palin. And good for him!

The attacks on Palin and her family have been below the belt, no pun intended. Left wing blogs hosted by un-American idiots with little code of decorum and little to zero facts are running off at the typewriter while supposed reliable news outlets dart around reporting these issues acting if they are just reporting what is brewing out on the streets.

Media outlets could not bring themselves to report on the shenanigans of Breck Boy John Edwards, a Presidential and Vice Presidential candidate while immediately addressing issues with Palin's family. The hypocrisy of it all is astounding!

The tide is about to turn on these hypocritical rumor mongers, including formerly well respected news outlets (yes, NYT, NBC and CNN with the attack piece put forth yesterday by Kyra Phillips, I am talking about you!). It will be a train wreck, and they can look right in the mirror when they ask themselves how they collapsed.

Let The Record Reflect

A few months back, The New York Times ran an above the fold front page story detailing a potential affair by John McCain, citing second and third person “reliable sources”. This allegation, with zero credible evidence produced, must be labeled false.

As the details began to surface from a National Enquirer report on an affair by lightweight John Edwards, complete with eyewitnesses and photographic evidence, virtually none of the news media would touch it. This is yet another example of media bias slapping you across the face.

Perhaps this was done out of respect for Edwards wife Elizabeth, who is fighting a serious battle with cancer, and certainly we wish her well in this fight. I have no use for the Edwards, and was aghast when shortly after announcing her cancer, Elizabeth Edwards was on the campaign stump throwing rhetoric at Edwards opponents. It is no doubt hard to respond by firing back at a woman who has just announced her cancer plight.

It took Edwards coming clean on ABC News Nightline for the news media to go with the story. And now, the fraud known as John Edwards is exposed for everyone to see.

One would certainly suspect his political career is over, but given the set of events as this admission became public, it seems to me the lying and political operations continue for Edwards. It is a wise idea to let fly any bad political information on a Friday in the hopes most folks will miss it with weekend activities going on. And with the Olympic Games starting, I guess Edwards thought this would be the best time, doing the least amount of damage to his political ambitions.

The National Enquirer has produced photos of Edwards and a child of Reille Hunter, with whom Edwards had the affair. Was Edwards holding his own baby? "I don't know if that picture is me," Edwards said. "It could well be. It looks like me. I don't know who that baby is. I have no idea what the picture is." Oh my!

Edwards antics are just cracking up the staff over at The Enquirer. David Perel, editor in chief at the Enquirer commented, "I think it's amazing, even as the man's coming clean, that he's continuing to lie," he said of Edwards. "Just as I've been saying for 10 months that he had an affair with Rielle Hunter, we know for a fact that is Rielle Hunter's baby and that is him holding the baby in the Beverly Hilton. He's not only hiding things from the public, he's hiding things from his wife."

Edwards will have a hard time with his timeline when these photos surface. Check them out at http://www.nationalenquirer.com/. It seems he is continuing to lie to everyone and also trying to take actions in order to do damage control to his political future (God help us if there is one).

News reports now suggest there is also a money trail situation that is emerging, with installment payments and homes being bought for Ms. Hunter in various states by friends and/or campaign staffers of Edwards.

Certainly, it looks like Edwards did have two Americas going on. More entertainment appears on the horizon.

Dennis Miller Goes Firebombing!

The Fox Business channel is off and running and throwing out some real quality programing. And have I mentioned the lovely Alexis Glick?

Anyhow, Neil Cavuto recently had an interview with Dennis Miller, who combines a stout vocabulary with terrific humor. Dennis is on fire on this one and I wish I could firebomb out rhetoric like this. Give this rant your ear! It does not get any better than this.



Miller did not miss a beat here. From accurately throwing John Edwards under the bus to properly outlining what should be John McCain's playbook, this is a touchdown. And to think ABC's Monday Night Football dumped him for Tony Kornheiser?

Great Entertainment

While the writers strike was in full force, many Americans were searching for top notch entertainment. In watching the Democratic debates, I found a a tremendous outlet for such entertainment.

Of particular note is John Edwards. This cat is as phony as they come. A trial lawyer who made gazillions defending "common folk" who were supposedly wronged by corporate America, Edwards claimed his support of the less fortunate was a lifelong fight.

He often spoke of "two Americas", where in his mind, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. In a recent story in The Wall Street Journal, complete with the chart supplied by the US Treasury Department, we see that Edwards is fraudulently incorrect.


I recognize newspapers are not often credible, or in some cases, such as The New York Times, unable to spot the truth at the front door. The Wall Street Journal, however, is highly reputable.


The fact is the lowest income citizens are doing better than ever. Opportunties exist for these folks that most thought not possible decades ago. Homeownership, even with the subprime crisis, is near record levels. Most low income folks have automobiles, cell phones and cable television.

Edwards, soundly defeated in the campaign, should immediately toss his 30 some odd delegates to whichever progressive socialist he prefers, and go away. I will miss him, for he provided me great entertainment.
