Welcoming Enemies

As reported by The Blaze, On Friday, March 8, Secretary John Kerry along with first lady Michelle Obama will, according to an official State Department press release, will “honor 10 extraordinary women with the Secretary of State’s International Women of Courage Award.” The only problem is that one of those women, Samira Ibrahim, is an unabashed anti-Semite who called the murder of innocent Israelis in a suicide-attack “very sweet news” and said that each 9/11 anniversary should be marked by “America burning.

No doubt disappointed to having been discovered, the State Department postponed giving the award to Ms. Ibrahim.  Not cancelled mind you, but postponed.

Call me crazy, but I might think the Department of Home Security, rather than having the American citizens under surveillance, might be keeping a keen eye on folks like this, who publicly wish America harm.  Certainly, and logic would seem to dictate she is not worthy of consideration for such an award, unless your are the left wing lunatics over at Time Magazine.

Not under the Obama administration.

Individuals and organizations who sympathize with, advocate for and affiliate with the Muslim Brotherhood and against Israel are held in high regard.

So you remain of the opinion that our government, and media, are not in full scale embrace and promotion of the Muslim faith?

Get a load of the outreach f propaganda advocating for acceptance of these types of folks.  Erin Burnett, no doubt a liberal thinking individual who we recall from her days hosting Morning Call with the dearly departed Mark Haines on CNBC, hit former first lady Laura Bush with an eye popping question. Take a listen.

Come again?  Thankfully, Ms. Bush gave her a dirty look in delivering a flat NO answer.

Erin Burnett is not alone, as she joins slews of lap dog journalists who seek to promote the acceptance of those with anti American voices who dream of taking us down a notch.  Support for this line of thinking goes all the way to the upstairs basketball court at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

For us real folks out Rush Limbaugh's Realville, we recognize our enemies, foreign and domestic, and there are plenty of them.  We saw the Muslim Brotherhood take over in Egypt coming a mile away.  In fact, we recognize that Michele Bachmann, not withstanding getting scolded by Sen. John McCain, (R:AZ), was and is correct to question the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in our government.

The right for anti American activists to express their opinions we recognize, but unlike many running the country presently, we do not support Ms. Ibrahim, the Muslim Brotherhood and/or Islamic terrorists.

We support the free and the brave, America the beautiful!

Squawker Silenced

Certainly saddened today to learn of the passing of CNBC's Mark Haines, the veteran co-host of Squawk Box and later Squawk on the Street.

Haines was a straight shooter and I spent most every morning over the last 15 years or so listening to his interviews and analysis along with David Faber and Joe Kernen. I always loved the "briefcase indicator" in attempting to gauge the direction of the FED on interest rates based on the volume of Chairman Alan Greenspan's briefcase. Fun times.

Haines also did a masterful job on September 11, 2001, bringing us the dreadful events of that morning all the while knowing many former guests and current friends were in peril.

There is an abundance of talent over at CNBC, but from the beginning Haines was a centerpiece. Along with much of the street and viewers across the globe, I will miss his smart elect remarks and pinpoint interviews.

Feds Strike Blow To Orlando Economy

The actions of our government never cease to amaze me. Orlando, has been put on a "no fun" list of cities to avoid for conventions and business meetings going forward. CNBC's Mark Haines chats with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer about this nonsense:

Since the government is commanding more control of the economy seemingly daily, should this policy become strictly implemented, the policy would strike a blow to our number one local industry, tourism, which would be a catastrophe for the Orlando economy .

It is indeed time to take a stand on the "remaking of America", as the implemetation of these idiotic policies going forward, (Cap & Trade and nationalized health care?) will continue to handicap our economic growth. Higher taxes and regulation cause limited economic growth which equates to a limited increase, if any, in employment. With consumers handicapped in spending in a very suspect job market, growth will be non existent.

You do not have be an economist to recognize this is not good.

Regarding Arrogance; Lets Be Frank

On the subject of the regulation of pay, Mark Haines, David "The Brain" Faber and Rebecca Jarvis of CNBC have some questions for the genius at large, Congressman Barney Frank, D:MA.

That was not pretty.

When you think about it, it is mind boggling that this imbecile wants to regulate pay when the financial position of country is plummeting do in large part to the housing crisis, which as Chairman of the House Banking Committee, he had no idea of.

Frank apparently has no clue on a myriad of things. This arrogant representative was unaware his gay lover was using his home, his own home mind you, for prostitution and now he should be regulating our pay? You have got to be joking! He should not be in charge of anything, particularly in dealing with the peoples money.

Frank should resign, for among other things, his role in the complete lack of governance over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, who donated heavily to Frank in the form of campaign donations. The shenanigans of Representative Frank are numerous, and he should be held accountable. Since the voters of Massachusetts won't toss him out, at least he could answer our questions.
