Former Florida State Freshman All America Tight End Brandon Warren has been cleared to play for the Tennessee Volunteers this fall.
Warren asked for but was denied release after his freshman season at FSU as he hoped to head back home to be near his family and suit up for the Vols. Finally, the NCAA has signed off and Warren is eligible for Tennessee this fall.
"I have respect for the (FSU) program and stuff" Warren said. "I don’t really have too many bad feelings. I just wish they would have made the right decision." FSU has never publicly commented on why they would not release Warren.
Warren is a fabulous player, a playmaker at the tight end position that has NFL written all over him. He will have a strong immediate impact for the Vols. I wish he were still a 'Nole, and wish him the best of luck.
