Toby Gerhart came out of nowhere to be among the NCAA leaders in rushing, but it was his tough nosed fashion in toting the pigskin that made folks take notice. Ndamukong Suh displayed the most dominating defensive effort on the NCAA level I have ever witnessed. Suh disrupted every game, including a display against Texas in the Big XII title game that was so dominant he became a Heisman Trophy finalist.
