Captain Speicher Comes Home

Capt. Speiker
The saga of Captain Michael Scott Speicher, thought to have been shot down on the first night of the Gulf War, has been wearing on many Americans.
Now, his remains have been identified and in fact Speicher was indeed shot down on that night 18 years ago. Although the finality of his death is sad, Captain Speicher can now rest in peace.

Speichers fellow alumni at Florida State University, where the new Speicher Tennis Center is named in his honor, and the citizens of The United States of America appreciate his service and will always remember him as a Hero.

God Bless You Captain Speicher!
