In a meeting yesterday with Taliban officials, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton offered the Taliban an "honorable form of reconciliation". My recommendation of a Tomahawk missile into their official headquarters fell on deaf ears.The Taliban leaders responded by calling her offer a "lunatic idea," and I actually agree.
So impressed were the Taliban by Mrs. Clintons gesture, the Pakistani leader of the Taliban has issued a warning vowing to amaze the world with an attack on Washington in the near future.
This is great news. I have little or no confidence in the Obama administration to deal with these terrorists, but thankfully our armed forces are several levels above their nearest competitors. And if they need any assistance, you know who just happens to be in town: Jack Bauer!
