Terror Pings
Expert after expert, and armchair sleuths, have given plausible, and sensible, explanations about what has likely occurred.
Sounds great, but where is the plane?
Terrorism.
Certainly, I am no aviation expand I have no empirical evidence to back my conclusion; hoping to be proven wrong. Sad to say, but hopefully the plane crashed in the swallowing jaws of the jungles of Vietnam.
However, the information we do have is mysterious, not easily associated with normal evidence on types of air disasters we have witnessed in the past. A debris field has not been located, issues with radar have come to light, the transponder was either deliberately turned off or had a new level of malfunction and we have individuals on the plane whose backgrounds warrant further and deeper inquiry. Cell phones of the passengers have been reported to still be working, which is obviously puzzling.
Among the most conspiratorial theories is the place is in tact, diverted for use at a later date. Most dangerous in this thought process would be the potential for a nuclear device to be placed on the plane to later become an electro-magnetic pulse weapon.
Obviously, we have yet to collect enough evidence to form an educated opinion on the cause of this tragic event. However, with the bizarre and wide ranging circumstantial evidence we do possess, it seems clear that the assistance of man was present.
That man would be a terrorist. Given that, who paid for planning of and training for the event? Who is responsible and what message was being sent to whom?
Our government does not seem all that worried about it, but certainly they are. So am I.

Great Timing for :24
![]() |
Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer |
After a few weeks of horrendous news, inclusive of children being murdered, kidnapped and held as sex slaves, an evil abortion doctor convicted this afternoon on a multitude of crimes including murder, an ongoing flirtation of our government with a terrorist organization in the Muslim Brotherhood, a corrupt government utilizing the IRS as the arm of our oppressive government to target political opponents and our government leaving fellow country men charged with working on behalf of our government to die, comes some good news.
Jack is back!
And boy howdy, does America need him.
FOX has announced that Kiefer Sutherland, who played the iconic Jack Bauer on the series 24 has agreed to reprise his role, will join the direction of producer Howard Gordon as 24 returns for a limited engagement. What great timing, as our country seems to be burning to the ground on every avenue possible.
Given the times, hopefully Bauer will not have fallen victim to the political correctness of the times.
It is hard to put magic back in a bottle, but with Sutherland and Gordon teaming with former writers co-writers Evan Katz and Manny Coto, we all can hope for the best. We will look forward to the Live Another Day episodes which come our way in May of 2014, provided we are still free to enjoy television dramas at that time.

Obama Inviting by Ignoring Terrorism
While the Global War on Terror seems lost to the members of the current administration, most of America was woken up on September 11, 2001. For the lovely Brigitte Gabriel, of Act for America and author of "They Must Be Stopped" , it was reliving a nightmare.
It is dangerously clear that the Obama administration is playing defense and coddling our enemies. I conclude these people are not idiots so it must be designated as a willful neglect to prosecute the elimination of those who aim us deadly harm. I am left with the question of why, and I just can't find the answers to the questions that are running through my mind.
The pattern of wreckless policy actions and rhetoric by this administration I fear is encouraging acts of terrorism and emboldening those set to strike us. I don't have to tell you getting lucky, as was proclaimed in Time Square recently, is not a winning strategery.
I can only pray that America rights this situation before we take one upside the chin again. I hear Jack Bauer is now available!

Boston Tea Party?
Although the 10% unemployment rate, which will likely rise a bit in the forthcoming months as this is a lagging indicator, is a very significant and real problem for many Americans, there is a bigger problem many are not aware of or are discounting.
Outside of the expansion of the government payroll, even with the incredible amount of stimulus, there is no job creation going on and without private sector expansion, high unemployment and a lack of prosperity will continue.
Uncertainty is the biggest obstacle small business owners face. The administration is working on very costly confiscatory taxation measures in health care reform, energy through the cap and trade legislation and business regulation. When you tax something, you get less of it, and as long as small business America is unsure of the playing field, forecasting the costs of doing business is difficult to measure. Given the looming legislation, most business owners project a significant rise in these costs, which is very prohibitive to increasing payroll.
Meanwhile, the consumer is ravaged. Many of the small businesses, from local restaurants to mid level production facilities, need consumption from the consumer to achieve acceptable revenue levels, but the consumer is in full scale saving mode, adding to the problem. Businesses hoping to borrow in an effort to survive the storm have very limited available outlets as the credit markets remain extremely tight.
The above referenced chart shows we are currently at the bottom of a very big hole, but due the policies of the administration, there is little or no evidence we are emerging out of the hole. While GDP may increase slightly, you will note in the chart that most of these big dips are met with a strong rebound. Not happening today.
Remember, socialism (don't kid yourself, this is where we are going) is great until you run out of everyone else's money. Ask yourself how many of your friends have come close to or have exhausted their 401K's this past year. Governmental actions have done just about nothing to solve the economic issues and I maintain have made them worse. Now what?
Increased governmental influences and interaction in the marketplace is hampering growth and keeping a hard press on employers. For this situation to be resolved, taxes and regulation on small business must be decreased, credit lines must opened and looming legislation fitting the plan of wealth redistribution must be scrapped.
Free market capitalism is the best path to prosperity. Those taking us down a different path must be stopped. As a new day begins tonight for Jack Bauer, a new direction for this country make take place later in the week with a good old fashioned tea party in of all places, Boston. This is change I will be hoping for!

Get Serious on Terror Immediately
Keep America Safe: "100 Hours" from Keep America Safe on Vimeo.
The way the administration is dealing with The Global war on Terror (no, I do not refer to it as a global contingency operation) I deem extremely dangerous. Hanging tight with Janet Incompetano (thanks Mark Steyn), shooting hoops and golfing is not going to get it.
I sincerely hope that this near miss over Detroit allows the administration to recognize their shortcomings in this arena and take the necessary steps to correct them before something very bad happens.

Independence Day
Ari Fleischer, former press secretary for George W. Bush, wrote an outstanding column in The Wall Street Journal on the disaster that our tax system has become. Most, if not all, citizens near the bottom of the scale pay zero taxes, and in fact, receive tax credits making their rate of taxation charted in the negative. An alarming balance of the taxes are paid by the wealthiest of Americans, who are the ones who tend to be most philanthropic and those who start major business who employ high numbers of workers.
The current tax code is indeed an abomination, and Larry Kudlow moderates a discussion on The Kudlow Report with the aforementioned Ari Fleischer, Wall Street Journal Editorial Board member Steve Moore, former Labor Secretary Robert Reich and Jim Tisch, chairman of the Loews Corporation (L:NYSE).
The famous novel Atlas Shrugged is some 675,00 words. The Bible is near 800,000 words. Our tax code is estimated at 3,700,000 words. Enough said.
The Obama administration is on a spending spree not seen in our history. President Obama is of the mindset that government and it's checkbook is the preferred avenue of resurrecting the economy, as further evidenced by his speech today. This type of thinking sinks potential workers into a drug users position in the form of welfare and breaks the competitiveness inside of them.
I believe that small business, behind the entrepreneurial spirit with limited governmental regulation and taxation, is the vehicle to provide this great land of ours with a free market path to prosperity. Ronald Reagan believed that as well.
We might come closer to balancing the Budget if all of us lived closer to the Commandments and the Golden Rule--Ronald Reagan
It is with that spirit that there will be over 500 tea parties across this great land today. Among the items spearheaded with Glenn Beck's 912 Project is the subscription of a set of principles and values. The Golden Rule would be one of those, and if any of our politicians recognized this, they would stand firmly against the spending that is set to cripple our children if not tackling us in the meantime. Most all do not, so it is time for action on our part.
Please join me in peacefully making your voice heard. Hopefully, I won't have to Jack Bauer any trouble making ACORN representatives at the Orlando Tea Party at City Hall tonight.

Calling Jack Bauer

The Taliban leaders responded by calling her offer a "lunatic idea," and I actually agree.
So impressed were the Taliban by Mrs. Clintons gesture, the Pakistani leader of the Taliban has issued a warning vowing to amaze the world with an attack on Washington in the near future.

Whatever It Takes

Of particular note this season is drama found right out of the gate in episode 1, with Jack Bauer testifying before Congress as he is being brought up on charges of torturing a captive. Please take a view of the opening of this episode, which shows both how lethal the terrorists are and the grilling of Mr. Bauer (2:15 mark) before a congressional panel:
President Bush is routinely hammered for potentially using torture to gather information to keep us safe. I think most on the left, from the pundits to the media members who hammer Bush on this are naive at best. They continue to think appeasement is the avenue of choice. Even some of the cast members agree:
Tony Ward winner Cherry Jones (loved her in Doubt, just fabulous), who plays President Alison Taylor, finds the torture thing "unfortunate" and commented on perceived commonalities with the show and reality by stating her character is "very committed to restoring stability in this country and also the country's reputation around the world, not unlike where we are now."

Another Unforgettable Day!
In the 24 Season 7 trailer, Jack Bauer is testifying before a congressional hearing, and he tells them he is accountable for his actions, does not regret them and does not care what the idiots on the hill say. The war against terror may be forgotten by the media, but it is still taking place. I hope we have 500 or so Jack Bauer's out there fighting for us, whatever it takes!
