A new book, "Going Rouge", by former Alaska Governor and former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, scheduled for release on November 17, is already the top ranked seller on both BarnesandNoble.com and Amazon.com. The book is outselling the memoir by the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy titled "True Compass" (cool title as Kennedy spent many hours sailing) and Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol". This is astounding, given the lack of appeal and knowledge she posses as described by the mainstream media.
Former John McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt is not very impressed. Schmidt, who poorly ran McCain-Palin campaign in 2008, offered the following to CNN: "But my honest view is that she would not be a winning candidate for the Republican Party in 2012, and in fact, were she the nominee, we could have a catastrophic election result." Schmidt meant catastrophic for the GOP, and he may be right. With RHINOS like Lindsay Graham and Charlie Crist running around, it well should be. Many members of the GOP like the establishment in place and are far too willing to play the game.
Palin is not playing games and cares not about the establishment. I am right with her, as a are a growing number of Americans. Her book sales emphatically state that, so those discounting her should heed the warnings.
