VOTES: Oklahoma State, Nevada, Oregon State, Florida State, Air Force, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Clemson and Missouri.
Host Auburn defeated Clemson in overtime in one of the hardest hitting games I have seen in many moons, and it was a pleasure to watch.....Oregon looks very strong on both sides of the ball, as does Nebraska and fleet of foot redshirt freshman quarterback Taylor Martinez....Florida is still lethargic offensively, as is Florida State....Arkansas picked up a big road win at Georgia. For those doubting the Hogs, childs please, and meanwhile, the Dawgs are in trouble....Michigan survived UMass, and we are not shooting hoops......Iowa got taken out by Arizona, who is playing with something to prove....Wisconsin of most fortunate to remain undefeated in many ways as Arizona State should have prevailed....Stanford torched Wake Forest, usually a sound defensive squad, for 64......USC is someone to wager against as losses are coming....Why ABC Sports stuck the southeast with watching the mauling of Duke by Alabama is most puzzling....Missouri is very, and I mean very, lucky to have won against San Diego State, which is not saying much....Michigan State used a fake play for ages in dumping Notre Dame in overtime:
And, has it really come to this?
