Navy Seals Bin Laden Fate

Amongst the wreckage of the Twin Towers, President George W. Bush made a pledge to the American people.

"We will not tire, we will not falter, we will not fail"

President Bush led the US into military action to serve justice for the barbaric actions taken against us on September 11, 2001. While we were able to achieve great successes, including victory in Iraq, disrupting terrorist activity in Afghanistan and thwarting future attacks here at home, a significant victory continued to elude us. This would be the capture or killing of Al-Queda leader and terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden.

Seemingly a few short months after 9-11, the left in America took the battle, not to our enemies, but to President Bush for waging battle against those who will us harm. Iraq, Guantanimo Bay, intensive interrogation techniques and war for oil were just a few of the issues put forth. Thankfully, Bush is man of principle and was steadfast in resolve to get the job done.

President Obama was among the loudest mouthpieces in opposition to the foreign policies Bush subscribed to. Fortunately, for whatever reason, Obama has, while kicking and screaming, continued most of these policies. In fact, to his credit, Obama has stepped up predator drone attacks.

In a stunning turn of events, America learned late Sunday night that through US Military operations, signed off on by President Obama, Osama Bin Laden was killed.

For God and Country! Geronimo! Geronimo! Geronimo!

First, I want to thank President George W. Bush for his courageous leadership and taking the fight to the enemy, helping to gather our footing and placing the United States on offense rather than defense. God Bless You Sir.

While much time is spent on this blog hammering President Obama, and rightfully so, on this occasion I wish to congratulate him on making the bold decision to have our Special Forces dart into Pakistan and kill Osama Bin Laden. This historically profound decision will reap many rewards, but more importantly, it gives a sense of closure to much of the country that was emotionaly wounded on September 11, 2001. Thank You Sir!

Most importantly, I wish to thank our troops. The level of sacrifice these brave Men and Women have endured is incalculable. Beyond that, they exhibit extreme professionalism and are quite simply the best in the world. We can never repay them for what they have given to our country. God Bless You All!

Certainly, our Special Forces deserve to be singled out for pulling off this action with surgical precision. These special operations forces are simply the best!

This was a great day for America!

Unfortunately, the war on terror is far from over, and playing our cards right going forward is critical to continue the momentum Bin Ladens demise gives us. Certainly, our relationship with Pakistan is in turmoil as they are not happy we went in without informing them. I could not care less.

I not pleased with with giving Bin Laden a proper Muslim burial. While we treat people in a humane fashion, bowing once again to the Muslim world for protocol for this mass murderer is not a course I would have followed.

On the heels of this event, the left is seeking a coming together in the political arena. Since most Americans are not for the transformation of America, this will not happen. However, we can today be very proud that our nation remains vigilant in the face of terror.

Among the many politicizing the assassination of Osama Bin Laden is formerly repsected news woman Barbara Walters, who quipped "I would hate now to be a Republican candidate thinking of running," on ABC's The View this morning. Fellow co-host and looney left bloviator Joy Behar suggested Americans should "Skip the next election". Character counts.

The election will come. Right now, Congratulations to all involved in this historic action. Excellent job! Justice is served.

Pontificating Progressive

Recently, The New York Times Magazine ran a lengthy article on South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, and as usual, Graham pontificated several incorrect opinions about his Republican party and his position in the party.

Graham takes positions most conservatives usually hate, and just when you are ready to throw him overboard, he comes out in strong support of a conservative position. In reality, however, Graham is a progressive I would toss right on out of office as he fails to understand what the principles of the Republican party are.

Here are a few instances of Lindsey Grahamnesty, as Rush Limbaugh so aptly refers to him, pontificating in error in the article.

The problem with the Tea Party, I think it’s just unsustainable because they can never come up with a coherent vision for governing the country. It will die out.” As a tea party patriot, I can tell you we do have a coherent vision for America, and that is LIMITED GOVERNMENT!

Everything I’m doing now in terms of talking about climate, talking about immigration, talking about Gitmo is completely opposite of where the Tea Party movement’s at,” said Graham. Indeed! Climate change, or global warming, is simply a vehicle for the global transfer of wealth which Conservatives are vehemently against, including the cap and trade legislation you joined the Democrats in crafting. Furthermore, Club Gitmo is a terrific place to house the terrorists plotting to kill us.

We don’t have a lot of Reagan-type leaders in our party. Remember Ronald Reagan Democrats? I want a Republican that can attract Democrats.”quipped Graham. No we do not, and that is central to the problem as most of the current bunch do not adhere to the principles outlined by Reagan.

Ronald Reagan would have a hard time getting elected as a Republican today.” In actual fact, America is searching here to yonder for a Reaganesque leader, one who respects our founding fathers and loves America and the sacrifice and history of our great nation.

Per the article, Graham has commented that Obama is "a good role model" and "an American just as much as anybody else". I certainly do not view the chain smoking Obama as a good role model and can think of no political leader of my lifetime who has shown more anti-American actions and commentary than Obama.

The Times also says his greater transgression, however, has been his willingness — even eagerness — to seek common ground with Democrats. The Democratic party, which has been hijacked by the progressives, is attempting to socialize our capitalist nation, and any progressive Republican like Lindsey Graham assisting them in this effort is an opponent of all conservatives.

The citizens of America, Reagan Democrats and conservative Republicans alike, have had quite enough of the progressives and their assault on America. As such, Graham represents the individuals the tea party patriots despise.

Hopefully, the Senator from South Carolina might have some Presidential aspirations. I would be happy to consider the potential Presidency of Jim Demint.

Guantanamo Bay: Leave The Light On!

All throughout the campaign we heard over and over again what an atrocity the detention facility for captured terrorists, Guantanamo Bay, is. Even though this is factually incorrect as the detention center is extremely well run, the media has proclaimed it as gospel and so it is in the minds of most Americans.

Our newly elected President, Barack Obama, is now tasked with living up to his campaign promise to close the facility, and since he was all rhetoric and had no plan, he is at a fork in the road. There have been many ideas from the administration floated, but none of them are acceptable. In fact, some are downright dangerous and juvenile. An example of this idiocy is a plan to not only release them in The United States (other countries including their home countries won't take them because they are too dangerous) but to provide them welfare to "start a new life". Is there anyone out there with a lick of sense that thinks this is sound decision making?

I call it a slap in the face to our troops and our citizenry, which I find appalling. Please review some of the terrorists, (yes, this is not a typo, terrorists) who tried to kill countless Americans.

Well, what should we do? I got a plan! Leave the light on at GITMO! It functions perfectly for what it is designed to do and should remain open, provided you wish to capture the terorists.

The decisions this administration has made and continues to ponder regarding the war on terror is most troubling and places this country at risk in September 10 footing. Somebody with some common sense needs to get the attention of these morons before something real bad happens at the hands of the non captured terrorists.

Oh, look! Fellow Nebraska native Dick Cheney is on the attack. Thank God!
