A Bitter Pill
Over at Investment Watch Blog, a sobering article was presented regarding the state of the economy with an emphasis on inventories, particularly versus sales.
First, a pie chart presented some dire data regarding Americans savings accounts, which shows any meaningful recovery, particularly for the lower income families, is fiction.
“It’s worrisome that such a large percentage of Americans have so little set aside in a savings account,” said Cameron Huddleston, a personal finance expert and columnist for GOBankingRates. “It suggests that they likely don’t have cash reserves to cover an emergency and will have to rely on credit, friends, and family, or even their retirement accounts to cover unexpected expenses.”
In addition to these findings, along with restaurant and retail getting crushed, we find a hideous divergence between year over year wholesale sales and inventories.
With the administration working every angle for "working families", we find “the poorest Americans have stopped shopping, except for necessities,” said Britt Beemer, chairman of ARG.
As IWB notes, "inventories-to-sales at recessionary peaks…"
Imagine that!
The entire recovery has been a fraud.
Sadly, with a genesis to the current debacle found in the last months of the Bush administration, the Obama administration has used the crisis to increase government control over the segment of society making the engine turn, most notably through actions like Dodd-Frank.
Additionally, the banks have been bailed out, and wealth has been stolen from the citizenry. While rates are low, borrowing restrictions have escalated, and seniors on fixed income have been crushed.
Ironically, with the DOW reaching news highs, folks will point to the stock market as success. However, the money supply has been increased five fold, indicating losses on purchasing power versus a 300 percent increase in the market.
And about the stability of the market, Zero Hedge reports infiltration by central banks, propping up the indexes. Those in the know recognize the jig is about up, as evidenced by the short squeeze witnessed over the last few days.
Something will have to give, and make no mistake, the end result ramifications will be a bitter pill for the American economy to swallow. When it occurs, please remember who has been in charge for the last eight or so years; a group aiming to curtail economic freedom and increase dependency on government.

The Candidates Debate
It sure was an interesting GOP debate the other evening in South Carolina.
After an initial coming together to express condolences over the tragic passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia (perhaps the worst day for freedom loving Americans since Obamacare was passed), things got rather dicey quickly.
This was to be expected, as South Carolina has in recent cycles been where the gloves come off, and winners and loser are separated.
However, it was particularly ugly on Saturday night, with the majority of the altercations coming, not from those initially attacking front runner Donald Trump, but Trump attacking & his challengers.
Trump labeled Cruz nasty and "the single biggest liar, a real nasty guy who does not get along with any of his colleagues. In a news conference today, Trump essentially went scorched earth on Cruz.
"Ted Cruz is a totally unstable individual. He is the single biggest liar I’ve ever come across, in politics or otherwise, and I have seen some of the best of them. His statements are totally untrue and completely outrageous. It is hard to believe a person who proclaims to be a Christian could be so dishonest and lie so much".
Trump is feeling heat from Cruz, and unleashed a major attack, however, the Donald was sadly incorrect in his assertions.
I am not seeking a candidate who gets along with Congressional members who are complicit in the destruction of our nation. Cruz called Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell a liar on the Senate floor, and Cruz was correct in doing so in my opinion.
Given what CNN reported publicly, Cruz is also correct in the dispute with Ben Carson Trump references. CNN is not a sound news organization, which Cruz's team should have known, but with the information out, it was not only appropriate, but a responsible and smart course of action to inform voters. If anyone is to blame, it is Ben Carson for not making his plans known to his supporters to prevent any misconceptions.
And for the record, Cruz is also correct in his ongoing spat with Marco Rubio on immigration.
Then Trump really got going.
First, Jeb Bush has a much more favorable assessment of his family than most do. Most folks think the Bush family are good people, and I certainly do.
As a Floridian, it is my opinion Jeb Bush, whom I voted for, did a great job as governor of the Sunshine State. I gleefully voted for Bush 41 in 1988 but found his performance weak, but supported him again in 1992 against Bill Clinton. I enthusiastically supported Bush 43 in 2000 and in 2004, and while I still consider his presidency successful and know he was far superior to his Democrat challengers, the more time went on the more disappointed I became with his administration. However, my disagreements with 43 are minimal and my admiration for him (particularly as a man of class and honor) is strong. It would be difficult for anyone to no consider the Bush family as a great principled family who care deeply for the United States of America.
But Trump got loose, calling not only the war with Iraq a mistake, but called George W. Bush a liar, commenting that Bush and his team had lied about weapons of mass destruction while saying under 43 "we were not safe".
After being attacked on 9-11, George W. Bush did in fact keep us safe. Many can question the steps he took to make that happen, but we were not attacked again on our soil during his administration, unlike the Obama administration. Argue about the Patriot Act if you please, and I will join you, but to say that Bush did not succeed in keeping America safe while prosecuting a global war on terror war is false.
As far as concluding Bush lied about the weapons of mass destruction being in Iraq, I vehemently challenge that statement as false. There were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and they were moved to Syria and are there as we speak. As I noted in a post in December of 2012:
"No longer politically expedient to admonish George W. Bush for going to war with Iraq on false assumptions of the existence of these weapons, it should come as no surprise that stories shining light on the weapons transfer from Iraq to Syria are emerging in frequency. While many reports are discussing recently discovered pathways of weapon movement from Iraq to Syria, hidden behind the discussion is the transfer during the postponement of the invasion of Iraq that France President Jacque Chirac, a dishonest broker who worked against US interests, bought. The second to none editorial page of Investors Business Daily leads the way as usual in presenting and detailing the truth. IBD, in an editorial yesterday, continues to present the facts even if few Americans are willing to absorb it".
I have always personally liked Donald Trump and admired much of his business accomplishment and while he is not my first choice for the GOP nomination, unlike many, I had felt comfortable in supporting him should he win the nomination.
I am now questioning that assessment.
Donald Trump is not an idiot, so I am sure his attacks are based on some level of methodology. However, defeating opponents on merit and on the battlefield of ideas has often been superior to berating with opponents with name calling, lies and threats.
America is some kind of pissed at the establishment of both parties, and Trump has a very unique opportunity before him. However, while I may be wrong, his scorched earth ramblings in recent days may not only burn up his opponents, it may engulf his candidacy as well.
Disagree with their policies as you wish, but I conclude neither Ted Cruz nor George W. Bush (and I note that Bush is no fan of Cruz) are liars. Trump; however, is starting to look as though he may be.
Or maybe this is just South Carolina as usual.

Enemies Within
If it were not so deadly serious, it would be comical to witness the Obama administration stumbling around calling the Radical Islamic terrorists anything but what they are, murderous thugs who seek to kill every infidel Christian in the world while perverting religion for worldwide conquest. But as heads continue to be chopped off, it is not those terrorists Obama is hell bent on stopping. It is his political opponents, as Investors Business Daily's Michael Ramirez so brilliantly pointed out, the GOP and especially those who consider themselves Tea Party members.
Obama chief of staff Valerie Jarrett, an un-elected person with enormous power, has plainly stated her objective, but few if anyone took her seriously. Obama takes her very seriously; so should you.
ISIS is running roughshod, just recently burning a Jordanian prisoner alive. Their objectives have been clearly stated, and they have unleashed slaughter and terror across the region with little or no tangible evidence Obama has done anything about it. He angrily refuses to even acknowledge who the enemy really is; which is Radical Islam for our low information readers.
Doing nothing about this historic advance of terror is one thing, but as FOX News Kimberly Guilfoyle so appropriately ponders, "Why is our president resupplying terrorists?"
Certainly, anyone on the side of the red, white and blue would never release top level terrorist prisoners during the fight, but Obama has on many occasion. Back in my day, and I am no old codger, this would be defined as high treason. Why Congress refuses to seek the immediate impeachment of our commander in chaos I find troubling.
Dinesh D'souza tweeted today that someone asked him "Would you call Obama the worst American president or the first anti-American president?" Well, that is some question, is it not?
For those who wondered about what the characteristics of the transformation of America might look like, perhaps you can now see. Obama seeks to diminish America and our colonial partners in punitive fashion on the world stage while fostering an advancement of the Muslim faith, open borders and Marxism throughout the world. The evidence is overwhelming and on full display, and I conclude his is indeed the first ant-American president; an enemy within.
Meanwhile, evil is looming large on the landscape, and it must be promptly and thoroughly defeated.
Michael Ramirez/IBD |
World War II was won in approximately five years, yet we have entered our fifteenth year of fighting these Radical Islamic terrorists. George W. Bush seemed handicapped in doing so by making effort to appease the slew of moderates, along with the entire left wing, who grew tired of combat after being bombarded with propaganda from the mainstream media. Rules of engagement increased the degree of difficulty for our soldiers in the fight, and after we achieved victory, an election squandered it all.
A war weary electorate voted in President Obama, who proclaimed he would end both of the "ill-advised" wars the US was involved in, slamming Bush at every opportunity. Notice Obama said "end" the wars; he did not utter a word about winning, or victory. But why?
Obama does not want to defeat these folks; in fact, he is on their team. Obama wrote in his book Audacity of Hope that “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction". Come again?
For those who do not really know who Obama is, this comes off as some sort of taken out of context comment. But it is far from it. Throughout his terms in office, Obama has been cold to our longtime allies and has had en empathetic tone engaging in bridge building with our enemies, who hate us now more than ever.
As Dinesh D'Souza so brilliantly pointed out in his move "America", Obama is an anti-Colonialist who has disdain for America, but particularly England ( immediately upon being elected returned bust of Churchill given to the US after 9-11) and France ( did Obama attend the peace rally last month? ) due his perception they mistreated and stole wealth from other countries in the region. Obama's father held strong beliefs along this line, and "Dreams From My Father" was not just a catchy title. It was the truth.
Obama is seeking a greater Syria, a re-establishment of the Ottoman Empire, allowing a Muslim territory to gain immense power in the region; a power to rival America. As president, actions undertaken by Obama have made America much weaker on the world stage; a transfer of economic wealth and military power. In addition, like the majority of the region, Obama holds a deep loathing of Israel, easily evidenced by his actions toward one of our dearest allies.
While most responsible world powers grow increasingly concerned about unstable player Iran, who I consider the head of the snake in the region, obtaining nuclear power, Obama has not made any effort to thwart the Iranian effort. To the contrary, without a Congress willing to take him on, he has donated heavily to Iran with taxpayer money we do not have.

The Joke Is On US
On an evening a couple of weeks back, President Obama spoke to nation regarding the terrorist group ISIS running roughshod over most of Iraq from their apparent bases in Syria. ISIS is a major concern to most knowledgeable Americans, and the speech by Obama was of keen interest.
You might think this would be a tough speech for Obama, who although vehemently opposed to US military interaction, faces few if any alternatives than to use our armed forces to stop this legitimate threat to peace across the globe. In addition, it has been Obama who has arrogantly informed us that he kept his promise by leaving Iraq and decimating al Qaeda.
Yes, I am aware ISIS is a direct offshoot of al Qaeda, the group the administration boasted about dismantling. Like most everything else from the White House; nothing but propaganda.
Speaking of that, the speech opened up, not with commentary on the rising threat of evil we are facing, but a couple of minutes on how his policies has strengthened our economy, created more jobs than any recent administration and expanded opportunities for working class families. A complete fabrication of the truth.
If that was not insulting enough, Obama delivered a few moments of commentary in his routine condescending manner that Islam is not in any way a root of this problem, rather a peaceful religion we as Americans should embrace as part of our national fabric. I wish I were joking.
Actually, the joke is on us.
Obama has had it wrong from the get go, and if as James Madison told us, Americans were armed with knowledge, this transformative dovish narcissistic neophyte would have never been elected once, much less, twice.
The US interaction with Iraq, both times, was regrettably the correct course of action. Under the surge, we gained victory in Iraq and gave their people a shot at establishing a sovereign nation of freedom. They needed continued support, but under Obama, after telegraphing a timetable, he directed our premature departure, snatching defeat from victory.
Without the presence of the US in the region, the opportunity for al Qaeda to resurface was presented.
The actions taking place in the region were predictable, and President Bush informed the nation what we would be in store for if we departed the region prematurely. Take a listen:
Bush was ridiculed (that Alinsky technique is omnipresent is it not ) relentlessly, but he was absolutely correct. You just heard the evidence.
Come to think of it, looking back at the scorecard, although the media delivers propaganda to the contrary, Obama fails miserably to GOP leaders on the issue of foreign policy. Here are three significant examples.
The laughing stock of all progressive land, it turns out Sarah Palin accurately predicted that Obama would implement policies which would project weakness and create an environment in which Russia would consider invading the Ukraine. Bingo.
Way prior to the current activities surrounding ISIS, the US Military has suffered more deaths in Afghanistan under Obama than under George Bush. There is no daily count on CNN, and Cindy Sheehan is not protesting at various gold communities across the fruited plain, but those facts continue to be stubborn.
During the last presidential campaign, VP Joe Biden tried to scare everybody that if Romney was elected, he would bomb Syria, something Obama would never do. Until now.
Also during the last presidential campaign, Obama failed to identify Russia as an enemy, degrading Mitt Romney, who said Russia was "without question our number one geopolitical foe" by saying the 1980's called and want their foreign policy back. Idiot at large, that Obama.
This all would be a Saturday Night Live skit if these issues were not deadly serious, pun intended. If Obama continues to play games and does not get serious about the increasing evils we face, sooner than later, our way of life will be threatened.
I pray our nation remains safe, but should an attack occur, you will know exactly what enemies to blame; foreign and domestic. No Joke.

Breach of Trust
As noted in the swearing in of office for our President, he takes an oath, or affirmation, to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. With Obama, this stands in contrast to his public proclamation that the Constitution is a flawed document.
Generally, the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf.--Barack Obama in 2001.
Beyond the aforementioned troublesome conflict, an integral part of government, particularly between the President and the people, is a level of trust. Seemingly governing against the will of the people and without respect for the built in checks and balances of our system, President Obama has repeatedly breached that trust.
As troubling as many of the many instances of operation outside these constraints are, the IRS scandal traveled into uncharted territory. Analyzatoin of this scandal identified findings that noted clear violations of the first and fourth amendments of our Constitution. Therefore, the appropriate call for the resignation, or impeachment, of President Obama was presented on this blog.
In recent weeks, the breach of trust between the citizenry and our President escalated to the downside, reaching an appalling level, and added a third player; our military.
As we have a bond with those of our citizens who have placed their lives in peril to protect this great country, we have always known the Veterans Administration hospitals have not operated at an appropriate level. After all, they are operated by the government.
Campaigning for president in 2008, candidate Barack Obama repeatedly hammered George W. Bush on the VA, claiming he would fix all the issues should he be elected. As President, seemingly still in full campaign mode, Obama continued to offer rhetoric on how he will lift the VA to standards to a standard we all would appreciate. He did so in a speech in Orlando in 2013.
For those failing to get a participatory trophy in the arena of following politics, allegations of criminal mistreatment of our veterans at VA hospitals have emerged. Upon learning about these allegations on the news, President Obama vowed to get the facts an take appropriate action.
The widening scandal centers on Veterans Administration Hospitals placing Veterans in need of care on secret list, falsifying appointment records, allowing administrators to receive bonuses while making the agency appear to be functioning adequately. Veterans, among our finest treasure, died while on hold on the secret list.
Veterans DIED!
The list of hospitals engaged in this action is ballooning to a staggering number. No longer allegations and a matter of reality, the findings in this wide ranging scandal are appalling, criminal and a dereliction of duty by all those in position to oversee this agency.
With public outrage escalating, President Obama accepted with regret the resignation of Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki. Regret? Even MSNBC noted that "finding a scapegoat to blame is a very poor substitute for fixing the problem." The FBI is investigating what was transpiring under the leadership of these men, and with any luck, a condo in the graybar hotel may be in their future.
We are not going to get in the weeds discussing the various levels of despicable behavior, mismanagement and criminal activity associated with the various hospitals. However, we will note the following:
* This is an example of government run health care, and obviously, the results are beyond poor and literally life threatening. Had this been on display for public perusal when Obamacare was being pushed, public support would have crumbled. Perhaps this scandal will open some eyeballs of the low information crowd currently drowning in a culture of irrelevance.
* While you are outraged, President Obama is not. Obama, in conjunction with noting his disdain for our military, sees the deaths of aging people, who are no longer productive in society, inclusive of veterans, a win on the funding ledger. This is part of the Complete Lives System, a directional plan headed by Ezekiel Emanuel, which does include those death panels Sarah Palin warned you about.
* If the administration really was concerned about the care of our Veterans, they would have immediately opened up care for Veterans in need to any hospital under Obamacare. No wait, come get the care we promised you and that you deserve. It has not happened.
* The actions of the VA administrators, which have resulted in deaths of our Veterans, represents criminal activity and those responsible must be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Given the cloud level arrogance of our President, who is bent on transforming our country to his desire, we recognize he would never put the country first (ironically the slogan for the McCain-Palin 2008 campaign) and resign office. As such, we have previously called for his impeachment.
The legal case is solid on a handful of issues, but the IRS scandal would be the avenue to pursue.
Until now.
Our country cannot let stand the abysmal treatment of our beloved Veterans by this administration.
Given this was a campaign cause for the candidacy of Obama and recounted in speeches as President as recently as last year, the dereliction of duty in this matter is so grave the integrity of those in leadership can longer be accepted.
Beyond failure to faithfully execute the mission statement of the agency, a irrevocable breach of trust has occurred. While the breach of trust between this lawless administration and the citizenry is quite regretful, the breach of trust with our beloved Veterans is unacceptable.
Those engaged in cultivating this problem should not be candidates to solve the problem, and a monumental one it is. Our current leadership has lost all integrity and can no longer be trusted to serve in the best interest of The United States of America.
Therefore, once again, we call for the immediate impeachment of President Barack Obama.
Generally, the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf.--Barack Obama in 2001.

Super Sport G8
General Motors is really in a world of hurt these days.
Troubles for the company became highly visible during the financial crisis of 2008, where obligations the company had, most notably poor union contracts not remotely associated with reality, were "discovered" as unsustainable.
Both George W. Bush and then candidate Barack Obama thought it prudent to offer the company bailout money, which GM gladly took. Once Obama took office, after evaluation, his team orchestrated the making of a new GM and made "recommendations" for the company, which most notably included the elimination of the proud Pontiac Motor Division.
In addition, bailout monies failed to make their way to the appropriated parties as outlined in 200 year contract law, with union partners and political partners reaping cash benefits.
GM, under the "direction" of the administration and viewed by most as "Government Motors" embarked on effort to produce high mileage low powered cars which were beneficial to environmental concerns.
In recent months sales are reported to have been slightly increasing. However, as reported by ZeroHedge, reported actual sales "were largely irrelevant" due to channel stuffing of inventories with 805,769 units in inventory at months end in February of 2014.
Issues surrounding a faulty ignition switch has resulted in massive recalls and has company executives testifying before Congress. While the issue not restrictive to just one model, the Chevrolet Cruze appears to have, by far, the most noted cases, with tens of deaths having been reported.
In anticipation of a barrage of lawsuits as a result of the ignition defects, because the sales of most of the affected models took place before GM's 2009 bankruptcy, the company has filed a motion in US Court to bar lawsuits on pre-bankruptcy sales.
Shares of General Motors, GM:NYSE, closed at $34.48 per share, down almost 20% from its 52 week high achieved in mid December.
I have owned GM products all my life, and have been very pleased with the products, which were generally Pontiac cars and Chevrolet trucks. However, due primarily to the government takeover of GM, using bailout money and terminating the Pontiac Motor Division, I have opened up my candidates for a new vehicle outside of GM.
From an SUV perspective, I am looking at the Ford Explorer Limited. With respect to a four door sedan, without Pontiac, the door has been kicked wide open. Previously, the Pontiac G8 GXP would have been the choice.
However, it looks like Pontiac G8 lives on in the form of the Chevrolet SS. The SS debuted in 2014 to much fanfare, filling a need for a four door performance sedan Chevrolet has been missing for decades. Lets check a review to see how they did:
It is not a Pontiac, but the reviews for the Super Sport Chevrolet cousin to the Pontiac G8 have been outstanding. Not as flashy as its Pontiac predecessor, the performance and handling, a longtime Pontiac wide track feature, exceed expectations. In addition, the interior in really impressive.
The SS does seem pricey, but vehicle inflation is in full swing, and when a comparable analysis is performed, it actually is a heck of a vehicle for the price, which is about $45K.
The price includes a gas guzzler tax, implemented by the Obama administration. Eat my exhaust!
A few reviewers wondered why Chevrolet left the acclaimed Magnetic Ride Control system off the 2014 SS, but indications are it will on the 2015 models.
In keeping in the Pontiac family, it looks like an SS will be in my very near future.

Executive Lawlessness
Executive Lawlessness is where we are as a republic in 2014, with our elected president operating outside the parameters of the funding principles of our nation; our rule of law.
We are a nation of laws, not of men, and unless this corrected quickly, the future of our once great nation is in great peril.
With our current president, the first indication of his imperial behavior began with the awarding of stimulus finding to the car companies, shafting the bond holders for the benefit of unions breaking long standing contract law, and authority he does not have. Sadly, none of those with the power to restrain this illegal action took action to thwart it.
There are numerous instances of the executive branch targeting political opponents. Among those that quickly come to mind are the following:
*The administration going went hard after Gibson Guitar over a small issue involving wood importation that was never before found troublesome. Gibson continues to fight back, and is actually scoring some points.
*Federal investigators raided Lumber Liquidators, LL:NYSE, with the search said to involve special agents from the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Department of Justice. It was suggested the investigation involved its importation of wood products.
*Under the EPA, the administration has embarked on major land grabs without congressional approval. In addition, extensive action under the false premise of Global Climate Change has been enacted on the citizenry, again, without congressional approval
*The utilization of the IRS by the administration to target conservative organizations through illegal mechanisms hoping to ridicule, hassle and bankrupt, or significantly harm financially, through regulatory action, both legal and illegal.
*Reports have come to light that Friends of Abe, a conservative group in Hollywood, has been under investigation by the IRS for over two years, underscoring how the bad the environment is for those who dare to challenge the administration.
With the election in full swing, Obama chief advisor Valerie Jarrett publicly claimed she would go after opponents of the administration. Without fear of being held accountable for such illegal action, the administration has kept its word.
Recently, an indictment was handed down on filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza for campaign fraud. D'Souza produced an acclaimed movie, 2016; Obama's America, which was not looked upon favorably by the administration, so this is not viewed as coincidence, rather politcal payback. Because of that, D'Souza had to be stopped; hence the felony indictment, which accuses D'Souza of making improper campaign donations. While I find the work D'Souza has performed as extremely credible, character issues not unlike those of many Americans regarding D'Souza have surfaced, which likely were partially to blame for his recent resignation as president of Kings College in New York. Given the work D'Souza was engaged in, he should have been recognized the need to keep his life clean and more cognizant of the moving targets of campaign finance laws.
If they want to get, they can find a legal avenue to get it done, particularly under the IRS regulations and laws. Even it your are ultimately found innocent, the financial cost to defend can be staggering, not to mention unmeasurable potentially punitive damage to your or your organizations reputation.
These are just examples of an imperial president who finds Congress a bother, and as an arrogant leader of the political ruling class, governs through executive order against the will of the people, the latter evidenced by the overwhelming unpopularity of the much maligned Obamacare.
While political opponents of Obama are under attack, violators of the the law, seemingly no matter how significant, are not held accountable, not only to the administration, but to our laws. Lois Lerner got promoted after the IRS debacle, but in a travesty of justice, former New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine, who commingled funds and lost customer in foreign currency arbitrage, walks double fisted in the Hamptons after perjuring himself in kabuki theater hearings in Washington.
Charles Krauthammer has had enough, and eloquently hammered Obama in a FOX News essay. Please take a listen:
While Krauthhammer is completely correct, the problem is regrettably far deeper than the discussion with Dr. Krauthammer and Judge Andrew Napolitano waded.
What is most concerning are the amount of elected officials who appear to knowingly sanction the executive branch rendering the other branches of government essentially either intimidated pawns or or toothless adversaries. With the balances of power under attack, there is little doubt the Founding Fathers would be appalled at this spectacle of executive arrogance and congressional complicity and or ineptitude.
Senator Ted Cruz, R:TX, who historically has fought for the Constitution against any and all who seek to execute outside its parameters, joined Glenn Beck this morning for an extremely relevant and timely discussion on the absence of rule of law under the Obama administration. Please take a listen:
The issues surrounding Obama and his imperial presidency, the abuse of power and executive lawlessness are staggering, and are an imminent threat to the survival of our country. Abuse of power in this regard should be swiftly dealt with by the people, no matter which party it happens under, evidenced by Sen. Cruz defeating President George W. Bush in court.
Although President Obama was reelected, if the public were able to decipher all the lies misrepresentation he put forth, coupled with extensive abuses of power, there is little doubt he would currently be president.
The principles given us in our founding documents are those we are governed by, not by the whims of an arrogant leader who aims to implement the dreams of his father against the will of our citizenry.
The rule of law is on life support, if not already dea. Sadly, few seem to care, and the executive lawlessness continues.

Dangerous Loonies On The Path
A Heroes Welcome.
New Years Day, when most of sane America is enjoying a day of watching college football bowl games, an attorney convicted of conspiring to defraud the United States and providing material support to terrorist activities was released from jail under a "compassionate release" policy.
Lynne Stewart, who aided Omar Abdel-Rahman, otherwise known as The Blind Sheik, should be considered an enemy of The United States of America should rot in hell for despicable behavior. The Blind Sheik, who participated in the orchestration of the first bombing of The World Trade Center, is among the most dangerous terrorist masterminds in the world, and any individual assisting him in the implementation of his terror tentacles should be incarcerated under our laws and should not fall under any criteria for release.
On FOX News The Kelly File, Megyn Kelly and Debra Burlingame, whose brother, a pilot of one of the hijacked airlines on 9-11, discusses the loathsome Stewart. Take a listen:
Americans killed in the World Trade Center bombings, and our brave troops fighting terrorism world wide, receive no compassion from those who aim harm on the US, inclusive of Stewart.
FOX News Megyn Kelly engages in a discussion with Jay Sekulow, from the American Center for Law and Justice regarding this most unfortunate turn of events.
It is of immense concern that President Obama, by standing firm behind the actions of his Attorney General Eric Holder, would sanction by proxy the release of individuals who seek to harm the United States in such a grand scale.
However, it should not come as a shock to anyone who recognizes where Obama and his administration stand on the place America holds in the world, his disdain for our military and his embrace of those who have long histories of being counted among our enemies. Obama has considered the release of the Blind Sheik as a good faith gesture toward Iran.
I take another approach, first advanced by President George W. Bush in the immediate aftermath of 9-11, an evil and horrendous terror attack against the United States perpetrated by those attorney Lynne Stewart was found guilty of being in conspiracy with.
You are either with us, or you are against us.
A Heroes Welcome?
Among those obviously against us, (the United States) are those who welcomed and cheered the release of Stewart and participated in welcoming her back to freedom. Who are these idiots? Are these individuals this misguided or do they represent and ever expanding group of citizens who can be appropriately categorized as enemies within.
Notice is served.
While tens of millions cheered through HD Television and in stadiums nationwide LSU defeating Iowa and Nebraska upsetting Georgia on New Years Day, a collective group an America opponents welcomed the release of a high profile individual convicted in a court of law of assisting a terrorist mastermind in his effort to coordinate the death and destruction of not only the American way of life, but her citizens as well.
It is time we stand up against these folks in effort to transform our country into a globalist anti-America collection of troublemakers who disrespect our the rights of our citizens and the laws that govern our nation, from the passive trivial cult controlled by the infliction of pleasure to elected officials operating outside the Constitution.
The loonies on the path are expanding, and this is presenting grave danger to the future of America.

Do We Get The Picture?
![]() |
Nelson Mandela (RICHARD LEWIS/AP) |
Through an association with Oprah Winfrey, a friend of mine met Mandela in 2000, and was deeply moved. She noted at his passing that Mandela provided a "blueprint showing each of us that by staying in-spirit, rather than in-ego & fear, it is possible to overcome anything". She has that right.
It is said Mandela was free to be released on an annual basis if he would simply renounce terrorism, which he never did. But rather than focus on that potential line in the sand, we can note the actions of Mandela after he gained his freedom. Adjectives such as peace, freedom and most importantly, forgiveness, come to mind.
"For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others" is a noted quote from Mandela expressing his thoughts on freedom.
While there is little doubt Mandela will live forever as a pioneer of freedom for many and an everlasting ambassador of forgiveness, it must be noted that Mandela was a communist, a political party that controls its citizenry and places substantial limitations on freedom.
While many of us vehemently disagree with the political affiliation and associations with fellow political leaders that at a minimum embrace communism held by Mandela, we must recognize that much good came from many examples he set until the time of his death.
Therefore, it was entirely appropriate for dignitaries around the world to pay homage to this man for his many contributions to the advancement of freedom for millions. From the United States, among many, were former presidents Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush. Of course, President Barack Obama and the First Lady attended, with Obama speaking.
Sadly, as expected, the arrogance of Obama could not be contained.
In his speech, President Obama cited himself on numerous occasions, and if there are boundaries to the arrogance of Obama, we would need Captain James T. Kirk to consult Mr. Spock to locate them. It is alarming and sad America has put herself in the position of having this narcissist as our president.
The narcissist in chief behaved like a spoiled brat all afternoon, embarrassing and demeaning yet again not only the stature of our nation, but torquing the First Lady. She sent ole Barack the "death glare".
FLOTUS is far from pleased; we are embarrassed. |
It is all about ME! |
Election as the President of the United States is not an invitation to engage in your own reality television program, hit the late night talk show circuit, host concerts, attend sporting events, play endless golf and chase sexual partners. Many of those activities are left for those of us outside of the top level of public service, where the existence of our nation and lives of our citizenry are at stake.
Shame on our citizens who either are idiots or failed to adhere to their responsibilities during the election process to elected this charlatan, particularly the second time around. Obama does not see this country the way our founders, or you and I, see it, and I think his actions seemingly on a daily basis provide multiple exhibits.
The citizenry should immediately engage in the necessary legal steps to have Obama impeached, and removed from office prior to an epic financial or terrorist action leaves us in such great peril that odds of a full recovery are remote.
Perhaps that is the result President Obama is seeking? As with Nelson Mandela, actions speak louder than words.

Time To Blitz Barack
Rush Limbaugh relishes the video as one of his favorites.
The video was from back in 2006 when the approval rating of George Bush fell to 32%, and Wolf Blitzer, on his CNN program "The Situation Room", could not have been more thrilled.
"It's 4 p.m. here in Washington. So you're getting the first look right now at our brand-new poll. The president's job approval rating has taken a downward turn again, falling to only 36%." is how Blitzer gleefully introduced the burning political issue of the day.
Blitzer was not the only mainstream media host or program blitzing Bush in those days, or any day for that matter. The negativity bombarding Bush was beyond relentless, and some even questioned his ability to hold the office, and his mental capacity.
On Wednesday, as the government shutdown marks days on the calendar, as Limbaugh highlighted, an Associated Press story was syndicated with the headline "No Heroes In Shutdown, GOP Gets Most Blame." As AP sees it in their supposed neutrality, it is the fault of the GOP the country finds itself in such tremendous peril.
Should anyone reading the story make it eight paragraphs deep, and most will not, the reader will discover that while the GOP gets most of the blame, the approval rating for President Obama has fallen to 37%. Hello Wolf?
As you can imagine, there were no breaking news bulletins on the likes of CNN, MSNBC or even FOX News Channel, where it was reported along with other noteworthy political issues of the day, and there were plenty. The Drudge Report linked to the AP story; however, nobody was thought to have marked where they were on this day to witness the actions of a president "coming home to roost", as Blitzer trumpeted.
This high level of media bias is sadly expected. As Limbaugh has ofter correctly noted, there is no news, only a propraganda maching of the Democratic Party. The evidence reasonably supports his contention, time and time again.
However, other than another glaring example of media bias, a more telling piece of information which requires some insightful analysis is discovered.
George W. Bush was repeatedly hammered by the mainstream media for a multiude of reasons, most notably due to the war in Iraq. Given the onsluaght of relentless and widespread attacks on Bush, it almost seems surprising his prroval rating was so high.
The mainstream media finds President Obama as a president for the ages, an apolitical individual of diversity and extreme intelligence who is uniquely equipped to engage and solve all the issues our country faces. Heck, in all his arrogance, he can even rename the Washington Redskins should political correctness demand it.
Lies amid doublespeak, immeasurable incompetence and the breaking of laws be damned, the media continues to smother the public with adulation of this man, failing in criminally complicit fashion to present the "promised" transparency of this imperial administration.
Given, as Bernie Goldberg noted, the slobbering love affair the media has with Obama, it is amazing his approval rating has sank so low. Perhaps the recent events of the government shutdown, in which the President has behaved in a immature, petulant and spitefull manner, the eyes of many a "distracted" citizen have been opened.
It is my contention that if the media was in fact a fourth leg of government operating as the eyes and ears of the public, performing necessary checks and balances of the duly elected government, the approval rating of President Obama would be fortunate to exceed single digits.
In fact, he would be impeached. Time To Blitz Barack

George W. Bush was repeatedly hammered by the mainstream media for a multiude of reasons, most notably due to the war in Iraq. Given the onsluaght of relentless and widespread attacks on Bush, it almost seems surprising his prroval rating was so high.

President Obama |

Truth or Consequences
I am fortunate in my many avenues of financial pursuit to associate and work with some wonderful people, and through these associations have formed many relationships that are very important to me. Although I effort in conversations when possible to illustrate truths with economic analysis without being overbearing or disrespectful to my co-workers, many have been and continue to be supporters of President Obama. That is their right, which I respect, but as President Reagan said, the only problem with our Democrat friends is that they know so much that isn't true.
"The Weather Man" is one of my favorites, who on several recent occasions joked that "yeah, and I can see Russia from my house". Not a Palin fan and thinking she is seemingly an intellectual equal to Elmer Fudd, he got a gleam in his eye each time he fired out that quote.
Engaging in a hostile exchange is not what I sought out as I informed him that although funny, Palin did not actually say that. I did not expect, nor did I get, a hostile reply, as this individual realized that what he thought was true was not.
While Palin was maligned across the media for something she did not say, Tina Fey of NBC's Saturday Night Live, who actually said the phrase, was named among Barbara Walters 10 Most Interesting People, for falsely imitating Palin. Imagine that.
Now, The Weather Man's opinion of Palin did not change, but I was able to plant with him that information presented while listening to the mainstream media and late night left wing entertainment programs masquerading as news outlets cannot be trusted as truthful and due diligence is required as any information is consumed.
Sarah Palin, is not perfect, nor is George W. Bush, Dan Quayle or President Obama, who has made more gaffes, including a slew of them earlier this week in an appearnace on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, than most. None of these individuals are intellectually challenged either, but the way they are presented in the media is radically different.
Rush Limbaugh spent a segment this afternoon discussing this, noting the alarming discrepancies that a growing number of the electorate find truthful. In addition, The Blaze reported on the gaffes, which included one on geography which dwarfs the remark supposdedly made by Palin. The media will not report that during the appearance Obama named three cities with ports on the Gulf of Mexico that are actually on the Atlantic Ocean, but they will cover it up for him.
From the St. Johns River, I have driven my boat through Jacksonville out the inlet into the Atlantic Ocean and can assure you the River City is not located on the Gulf of Mexico. While I certainly do not subscribe to the media reports that Obama is so intellegent that he is bored acting as our President, I have no doubt he is far from an idiot and has full knowledge the map of the United States.
Obama and Biden have had a staggering number of these gaffes over the years. Biden went into great detail telling Katie Couric, again with NBC, how Americans watched the fireside chats of FDR on television, while Obama campaigned in 57 states and mangled commentary regarding early treatment for sick children.
While it is certainly entertaining to listen to these gaffes and engage the thought that the politician on your opposite side is an idiot, only in rare instances is that actually the case. What is concerning, and the basis for this bloog post, is that with a media set on promoting the agenda of their favored politician versus the efforts at discrediting and demenaing their opponents; hard working Americans struggling to put food on the table have hard time grasping what is fact.
The treatment of our two most recent Presidents should serve as a glowing example of how slanted the media presentation has been and continues to be. Both of these men, and those in their repsective parties, should be challenged on the battlefield of ideas and judged upon their successes and failures. The media has a responsibility to present us the facts leaving the American people to make their own assessments, and they are failing mserably.
Report the facts, let the people decide. If a politician makes false statements, it is the job of the media call them out. The media should not be cozy, or be threatened by, any administration. Seek the truth, which has no agenda. After all, as once said by George Orwell, "In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act."

Live The Liberal Dream
Truth has left the building, and the administration is on the attack against the few who dare to challenge. But with the mainstream media nothing more than a propaganda machine for Obama, although Peggy Noonan suggests America is no longer listening to Obama, few are engaged enough to decipher the misrepresentations of the truth presented the citizenry.
Each of the scandals President Obama references are beyond significant. Fast and Furious, Benghazi, AP, NSA and the IRS scandals are despicable. Provided adequate hearings take place, of which I am sadly doubtful, a handful seem impeachable offenses. In fact, the IRS scandal violates the Fourth Amendment, and for that reason among a hundred, we have called for the resignation of President Obama.
But while Obama dismisses the above mentioned scandals with a smirk, he informs us that Washington has taken its eye of the economy, and he intends to force them back on this troubling issue. Yes, the horrendous economy caused in large measure, by design, by the very policies implemented by the Obama administration and their ship of fools. Infuriating.
Obama, once again, informs the public he will focus "like a laser" on the economy, and they think change is on the brink. For those who have paid any attention, the speech lines are retreads from past speeches and unless there are major policy changes, and none are forthcoming, the economy will continue to under perform at best while America continues to decline into a structure of socialism, in violation of the founding principles of our nation.
It is claimed the unemployment rate has began to fall with America getting back to work, but the fact is the labor participation rate for full time employment is at its lowest rate since 1980, prior to the Reagan Revolution. It can be argued more jobs are being filled, but those are pat time jobs as workers have had hour reduced due to the implementation of Obamacare and now hold two positions to bring home the income one job used to. On side note, remember when the left yelled at George W. Bush, saying the jobs he created were McDonalds (MCD:NYSE) jobs? Some should be so lucky these days, but all is quiet at those broadcasting companies.
More individuals are receiving government entitlements than ever before, and it is no due to population shifts. Few have their unemployment benefits expire, but for those that have, disability relief is the next step. Everyone has some sort of issue, right. Aren't you a victim of this or that. I wish you would get over it, but Obama does not feel, but welcomes your pain so he can control yet another poor soul who has lost the ability to succeed on their own. Julia has arrived.
In fact, as the Associated Press reported today, Four out of 5 U.S. adults struggle with joblessness, near poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives, a sign of deteriorating economic security and an elusive American dream. Forget Obama and his parade of bullcrap. Forget the GOP, the Democrats and Washington DC. Think of mainstreet, and how utterly unnecessarily sad this statistic is for our fellow man. Four of Five! 80%!
If you step back, you quickly realize this is not a sound road for our economy to be traveling, although Obama thinks it is. Why is he not alarmed about the peril of our citizens? Obama is quick to blame the GOP, but until Scott Brown got elected in the aftermath of the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy, the GOP could have golfed everyday with no consequence as the Democrats held a super majority. Even after Brown was elected, the GOP was nothing more than a speed bump, with only the roar to the Tea Party scaring anyone. Even, today, progressive republicans like John McCain, Kelly Ayotte and Lindsay Graham, and even the leadership of Boehner and Cantor, rarely fight Obama with vigor. You would think the entire Congress would be up in arms that 80% of our citizens are struggling so mightily, but I don't hear them.
Recent events, such as the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman shooting in Sanford, Florida, the abysmal record of deaths among young black teens in Obama's backyard in Chicago and the bankruptcy of Detroit have placed a spotlight on the black youth community. Under President Obama, black youth have not had it this bad in several decades if ever, and he has suggested zero in the form of legislation, unless you consider his efforts to undermine the Second amendment, to assist in solving the problem. We discussed the how solving this problem, although it would hurt the income streams of the race hustlers, would extend prosperity for all.
Sen. Mike Lee (R:UT) is attempting to defund Obamacare, a law polls show America dislikes, but few republicans in the senate are joining his fight. As Rush Limbaugh pointed out, many republicans are big government types the really are not all that broken up about Obamacare as it represents expanded control over Americans like you and me. Obamacare is a significantly destructive force against economic growth and freedom.
Yes, the stock market is at record highs, fueled by to many dollars chasing too few assets. Home prices are inching up due in part to a restricted inventory. Manipulated markets. Nothing to see here.
Everything is not fixed. In fact, although seemingly somewhat stable, the economy is much worse than thought. The administration policies of entitlements, handouts and bailouts, coupled with expansive taxation and regulation from within the EPA to Common Core in the public school system, the citizenry are being placed in a box. As AP correctly pointed out, due to these policies the American dream will be much harder to achieve, and economic insecurity among those who fail to exit the box will continue to grow.
This is not the America we grew up in, handicapped by a governor placed on the citizens by an oppressive government which, although with rhetoric to the contrary, is seeking to collapse the system leaving the citizenry clamoring for help in the form of entitlements. As history and traditions are given less importance, and work ethic, the standard of living decreases, the GDP embraces contraction, our superpower status evaporates and the majority of the citizens are left under the control of the government.
Robbing folks of their identity and destroying personal incentives fosters financial calamities and is destructive to the family leaving a country in despair.
Don't worry. Due to Obamacare, as the secretary determines, those death panels Sarah Palin warned you about are real, and provided you no longer can justify your existence and present no benefit to society, they will be happy to assist you.

Snake Oil

Gas price in metro Orlando on 3/5/2013 |
Pulling on to pit road for a fuel stop the other day was painful. Gas prices are near historical highs, and nobody seems to care. In fact, the average national price per gallon has been over $3 for well over a year now.
I recall when gas spiked last decade under President Bush, the mainstream media, including local network affiliates, worked the citizenry into a frenzy. Details of how the misery of the high gas prices negatively affected family after family and businessman after business were the top news story nightly with reporters in the field at gas stations far and wide.
Not these days. With the anointed one in office, the media cannot be bothered by a story that casts negativity on their beloved president. These folks do not present the truth, only propaganda.
Do they want a story? Well, light sweet crude, which reached $147 a barrel under the spike under Bush, is only approximately $90 per barrel now. What gives?
Although the Democrats hammered Bush and the capital markets during the spike last decade, they could not recognize then what they deem true now; that much of the price of oil under the current environment is out of the presidents control. True then, true now.
However, while the president cannot directly control world prices dictated by OPEC, control over the blessings of our natural resources can be engaged. President Obama has failed to do so and stands opposed to it, so part of the infliction of pain on gas consumers lies on his desk.
He has borrowed taxpayer money to gamble on experimental alternate sources of energy which have ended in bankruptcy more often than not. An outspoken opponent of fossil fuels, Obama has failed to move forward on the Keystone pipeline and has decreased our production. Actions in the aftermath of the Gulf Oil Spill were designed to decrease our production, never letting a crisis go to waste. In addition, the US being Brazil's best customer does not help Americans at the pump.
But Obama has stated he prefers gas prices to reach European levels in a methodical manner, and has placed regulatory action on vehicles aimed at nudging motorists into small engine block vehicles the majority of the populous rejects.
Cities embracing sustainable development and principles found in Agenda 21 are rewarded, and the punishment absorbed by the citizenry due to the hidden tax of high gas prices is a orchestrated mechanism to nudge Americans away from the pump.
Pain for the public to achieve political gains is sadly part of the plan to transform the United States of American and transfer our wealth to nations perceived as victims of our economic advancement.
Described as a new normal, nothing could be further of the truth. Simply sold as snake oil.

Middle East Web of Weaponry
At this moment, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta says signs point to Syria using weapons of mass destruction, in this case chemical weapons, on their own people. The uprising in Syria, in large measure, has been regrettably aided by The United States in levels extending beyond appeasement.
Larry Kudlow of CNBC chats with John Batchelor on the Syrian crisis.
Starting with speeches around the world proclaiming the transgressions of America, President Obama set out to right these perceived wrongs. As part of this effort, Obama implemented uprisings in the middle east, toppling enemies we knew for those unknown, as least by most. Although Obama spoke publicly about the enhanced chances for democracy and freedom, Obama privately knew those positioned to fill the vacuum, the Muslim Brotherhood, would advocate, or install by force, Shari-ah Law, as is currently the case in Egypt.
But let us regress. Although Syria has a weapons program, are the majority of the weapons of mass destruction currently possessed by Syria the same weapons we never found in Iraq?
Indeed they are.
No longer politically expedient to admonish George W.
IBD, in an editorial yesterday, continues to present the facts even if few Americans are willing to absorb it.
Although I remain incensed regarding the antics used by the opponents of President Bush, most notably regarding the propaganda regrading the weapons, the discussion pales in comparison to what is happening now.
Benghazi, who most Americans think is some folk singer, should have been a story that would detonate and destroy the Obama administration. There was supposed to be a presser by a handful of Republicans, however, these GOP members snatched defeat from the jaws of victory as they did not want to seem as playing politics and not caring for the victims as super storm Sandy slapped the northeast.
However, the events in Benghazi supersede politics. Four Americans, including our Ambassador to Egypt and two NAVY Seals, were murdered. The Ambassador, and the Seals, requested help on various occasions but were turned down. Although many have called out Obama on this horrendous act of war against the Untied States, perhaps the commentary by Jeanine Piro on FOX News Channel hit him the hardest, and appropriately so.
As previously noted on the blog, Ambassador Stevens, who inexplicably was meeting with a Turkish contact in a dangerous area outside of our embassy, is thought to have been working to secure weapons. The weapons Stephens is thought to have been attempting to corral are weapons the United States, under Obama, had been supplying rebels in Egypt and Libya.
Recent reports, including from The New York Times, give confirmation of the central theme of the story, which is gun running by the Obama administration. Although not an optimal source, some strong information on this subject can be found over at blog site Lame Cherry. Regrettably, these weapons have gotten loose and have fallen into hands of those who aim America harm. Imagine that.
Although the issues surrounding Benghazi, in which a US Ambassador was murdered for the first time in over 30 years and an administration appears to be running guns seemingly without Congressional approval, seems to be a story which would dwarf Watergate, apparently no journalists are interested in winning a Pulitzer Prize.
On the heels of winning the election, the Obama administration is embolden by a new found sense of arrogance. With a complicit media in their hip pocket, why should they worry? What could happen with some weapons, perhaps some of mass destruction, loose in the hands of Al-Queda, Hamas or other groups or countries who wish us harm?
Well, take a listen to Dennis Kucinich (D:OH), of all people, who is asking some very alarming questions and not getting any answers:
This was a debate needed at the time in 2011, and one critically needed right now. Kucinich rhetorically asked who should be held accountable, and the answer is President Obama.
Unfortunately, the media is criminally negligent in coverage of the Obama administration. The Democrats are in support of the actions of Obama, as are the Progressives in both parties, who have been working toward reducing the superpower status of the US for quite some time. The GOP members in strong opposition are few in numbers and fearful of being labeled an extremist. See Rep. Allen West, (R:FL).
It is far time for someone to step forward, and take on those in power.
This type of thing used to be a big deal, for I recall missing General Hospital for days on end while a Congressional panel hammered Col. Oliver North. However, while America wonders who is on the next Dancing With The Stars cast and enjoying the ever expanding entitlements coming their way, lies are being presented as truth, unrecognizable to the "low information voters" who re-elected Obama.
I hope and pray America, and the media, wake up before a catastrophic tragedy occurs. While the likelihood of such en event favors a financial issue, that may be welcomed against the possibility of a weapon of mass destruction altering life in America forever.
Should such an event occur, while Kucinich wonders whose fault it would be, I would have no doubt who to hold to accountability.
