Unintended Consequences

As readers of my blog know I am a huge fan of college football and have a particular passion for what is best described as "the color and pageantry" of this wonderful sport.

Certainly, one would suspect the game presents an escape from this political world of lawyers running rampant, but officials at the University of Houston regrettably do find themselves in need of representation after a completely unnecessary gruesome injury to one their players during a contest at Marshall University. Take a look:

Houston receiver Patrick Edwards had been having an outstanding season and was in consideration for freshman All America honors. Now, his career could be in jeopardy due to the compound fracture he suffered because some moronic halftime producer parked a series of carts all along the back of the end zone.

The list of unintended consequences of folks who do not think is quite long, and costly. Could this be describing some potential voters out there? You damn right!
