Pour Congress Some TEA

You Betcha!

With the TEA Party under attack and being smeared as racist by most of the mainstream media and the completely irrelevant NAACP, Rep. Michele Bachmann has been granted permission to form a Tea Party Caucus on Capitol Hill.

Bachmann discusses the new caucus with FOX News Great Van Susteren:

I find this a welcomed development. There are dozens of Congressional caucuses, including the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Progressive Caucus, where I can easily identify many of the idiots driving the economic ruin of our country.

Michele Bachmann is among my favorite members of Congress at the moment, and I applaud her leadership, seemingly a foreign concept in Washington, in implementing this caucus. I will be looking to see who joins her and steps up to fight the Progressive movement.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah, who I like, will unfortunately sit it out. “The more you try to put structure around the tea party, the more compromised it will be,” tweeted Chaffetz. “If any one person(s) tries to co-opt it, the tea party will lose its identity and effectiveness.” I do not think this is what is at play here.

Those of us in the Tea Party, who have taken the lead in standing up against the tyranny coming at us and championing the cause of limited government, will need these members to step up the fight inside the beltway.

Welcome to the fight!
