An extension of the unemployment benefits is being "blocked" by Senator Jim Bunning (R:KY). Certainly, the American people deserve answers as to why Sen. Bunning, obviously an evil public servant, would place so many jobless American workers on the verge of starvation! The horror of it all!
Thankfully, for us idiots at large, ABC News is on the story like a cat in a tree at 4th and Main!
Good Grief! The media bias and hypocrisy on this is in the stratosphere.
As a youngster, I switched from Cronkite and CBS over to Peter Jennings and ABC News World News Tonight as my preference. In recent years, I have briefly met both Diane Sawyer and Charles Gibson, who both seemed to be neat people.
But ABC News has been nothing short of asleep at the switch for the better part of a decade. Recall Charlie Gibson stumbling around having no idea of the goings on of ACORN when they were exposed? Where was ABC, or any of the 3 networks, when Obama's radical czars were exposed, on the exposing of Charlie Rangel's many illegal activities, Obama's relationship with ACORN and stimulus money going to Congressional districts that do not exist? Surely they were all over Barney Frank and Chris Dodd's practically criminal oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Have they questioned Nancy Pelosi, who proclaimed to clean out swamp and run the most ethical House evah, on the long list of unethical behavior in the House? Paygo? Hello!
They completely missed the tea parties for crying out loud! And what about the global warming scandals?
For a myriad of reasons, with bias being at or near the top of the list, the network news divisions are quickly becoming a dinosaur. As Bernie Goldberg put it, if you are heading up one of these news divisions, you are essentially running a morgue.
Serves them right! And for the record, Bunning is still right!

The Pounding of Palin Continues
During the campaign, the media scolded us about how inexperienced Palin is, although as a sitting Governor and former Mayor she is more experienced than President Select Obama, or Caroline Kennedy for that matter. The relentless attacking of Palin by the media and other pundits indicates to me they are very afraid of her.
Palin has decided to speak out, and many think it is a bad move, including outlets on the right. I think it is wise to for her to be on the record and for her to call out the media on the vicious way they treated her and their love affair with Obama. I am looking forward to Bernie Goldberg's new book on the subject. Voices in this regard are very important, as apparently, few folks care or they are to stupid to recognize how the media is leading them. Speaking of media influence, I can't wait to hear how the economic news is turning brighter on January 21st.
Take a listen to Palin's comments:

Free Speech Attacked
After a local television reporter dared to ask the Obama-Biden campaign some tough but legitimate questions, the ABC News affiliate has been placed on probation, no longer able to have access to the campaign until after the election.
First, some background. WFTV Channel 9 is my local ABC affiliate here in lovely downtown Orlando. Although they have some decent personnel, Eye-missed-it-news is like most other local news stations. If it bleeds it leads, they frequently break into programming, yes unfortunately during third down and five, to report about a sunshower in some two light town just on the fringe of their coverage area because they are there for us and would not know a county commission meeting if it broke out in their parking lot, and it almost does due to proximity.
But longtime professional reporter Barbara West connected on a three run homer with this Biden interview, daring to tread where most of the mainstream media would not consider. Excellent job Barbara!! Take a listen.
Without question, these are legitimate questions and should not have caused such a stir given the recent encounter Obama had with Joe the Plumber. But beyond the obvious, the real troubling aspect is how Obama is treating reporters and stations which dare to challenge him. Can you say fairness doctrine?
Media analyst Bernard Goldberg, formerly of CBS News, weighs in on the subject on FOX News Fox & Friends. Bernie calls it like he sees it.
Can you imagine if George W. Bush banned the media that challenged him? Remember the uproar when it was incorrectly thought Gen. Colin Powell cut short a NBC interview on Meet The Press with Tim Russert?
The arrogance of Obama and Biden is staggering. Although odds strongly favor this is an example of how a potential Obama administration will deal with those against them, one can only hope it is not. America will change dramatically should Obama get elected, and I think all you zombies will not quite like what is in store for you down the road should it happen. Censorship of the media by quiting the opposition, would be among the first nails in the coffin of the America we once knew.
Wake Up America!!!!!!!!!!
