See You Later Mr.College Football!

While on my way to the Diamond Resorts International Celebrity Golf tournament, I got a text. I knew what is was about, and if was the first of many.

It said "We lost him."

Mr. College Football, the legendary Keith Jackson, had passed away late Friday.
Add caption

Jackson was a member of the inaugural Hall of BAHL class in 2011, where I wrote the following:

"By far, college football is my favorite sport. I rarely missed televised games as a child, and calling the play by play describing the color and pageantry of NCAA College Football was ABC's Keith Jackson.

Mr. College Football, Jackson had a unique way of bringing the game to viewers who watched from couches across the fruited plain. Jackson respected and promoted the traditions, coaches and players and rivalries which make the game special.

Terms of endearment to the game such as "Whoa Nelly", "The Big Uglies" and "Fumble" will never be forgotten, nor will Jackson. Keith Jackson, a big man at 6'4 275, is a bigger man in the annuals of America's greatest game, NCAA College Football."

I had the opportunity meet Keith Jackson at a "Legend's Luncheon" held when Florida State played Notre Dame in Orlando in 1994. It was an honor to meet Jackson, who was larger than life in many ways.

Like so many expressed who have commented via social media since his passing on Friday, Jackson meant so much to those of us who grew up cherishing the color and pageantry of those autumn Saturday afternoons, where with all due respect to Alabama's university slogan, where legends were made.

Keith Jackson was often imitated across the college football landscape, with many a "fumble" uttered from Jacksonville to Omaha, but few were as beloved at our Keith Jackson.

Ross Reporting From Fantasyland

ABC News Investigative Reporter Brian Ross is living in Fantasyland. Or is he?

In a simply stunning example of media bias, Brian Ross has come under fire for an inexcusable misrepresentation of the facts in the aftermath of the tragic series of events in Aurora, Colorado.

Take a listen:

Ross tried to tie the suspect to the Tea Party, noting one of the 25 estimated residents with the same name had previously signed up for the Tea Party.  Ross has done some good work in the past, and prior to this, was highly thought of.

ABC quickly responded with an apology, which was insufficient and not accepted.  So egregious was this level of reporting, even the members of the left wing media are hammering ABC and Ross. In fact, as a shareholder of the Walt Disney Corporation, owners of ABC, I demand Ross be immediately terminated, with Stephanopoulos placed on probation.

Ross is as experienced as they come, so do not buy the we made an error commentary.  Ross spoke this knowingly and by throwing the Tea Party narrative into this story, plants a narrative that is difficult to rewind.  Where does the Tea Party go to get its reputation back?

This is not the first time, and the list is long as compiled by The Blaze, the media has slandered political opponents.

The major news networks, most notably ABC, CBS, NBC and certainly CNN actively misrepresent the facts efforting to fit within their conspired narrative; therefore, they cannot be considered credible.
If you must watch a network news program, FOX News channel stands alone.  Newspapers you should stick with are The Wall Street Journal and Investors Business Daily, if you want to read what is really going on.

Information Misrepresentation: NBC News

Information presented to the Public by various outlets is being crafted to misrepresent reality in an effort to skew political thinking, gain economic advantage and nudge social justice further down the American psyche. This is the fourth in a series of blog posts detailing instances in this regard, as it is imperative the Public recognize the significant level of misrepresentation and how vast the manipulation is and gather information from trusted sources.

Information Misrepresentation: NBC News.

For years, NBC News was a respected outlet for news. Many may recall Chet Huntley and David Brinkley, and there were days when Tom Brokaw was credible. Sadly, this is no longer true. Perhaps the fatal blow came when General Electric (GE:NYSE) became the parent company of NBC, but at any rate, make no mistake, they are not presently accurate, cannot be trusted and are essentially Obama campaign members. Doubt me?

Although there were instances raising eyebrows, it was a two by four to the forehead during the emergence of the Tea Party in 2010. Please see the following report from MSNBC:

Oh my gosh! Racist white folks protesting out first black President are running around with machine guns at Tea Party rallies! It is not football season and I think Lee Corso is fishing; but not so fast my friend! MSNBC misrepresented the truth by a large measure, and risked placing people in harms way by playing the race card and potentially inciting riots. Please see a local ABC-TV report showing the real story:

Nothing has changed over at NBC, even though Comcast (CMSCA:NASDAQ) is now owner. NBC recently busted doctoring a tape of George Zimmerman, the Central Florida man who is charge with killing Travon Martin, which recently strained race relations.  No worries at 30 Rock.

In fact, with Obama dive bombing in recent polls, NBC has increased the propaganda. NBC correspondent Andrea Mitchell, wife of former FED Chair Alan Greenspan, blatantly edited a Mitt Romney speech in juvenile fashion in effort to misrepresent Romney's comments. Glenn Beck was not amused, and gives you the full story:

Recognizing the error of their ways, Andrea Mitchell cleared the air on her program. Well, at least she thinks she did. Beck is really fired up now, and you should be as well.

We have a very important election ahead of us,  and it is critical you get your information from trusted sources, and make no mistake, NBC is not one of them. This is regrettable. I have been on the Today Show and enjoy the history of the proud peacock and NBC News. But the days of solid reporting from this network are history, and they fake out thousands of our citizens who have formerly trusted this news division and have no idea they are sellouts for progressive interests.

There are countless examples of this type of activity, and NBC is not alone,  But, they are by far the worst and no longer even attempt journalism. It is worse than you think with these anti-America impostors, but now you know.

Yes, employ a sell signal should you own Comcast (CMSCA:NASDAQ) or General Electric (GE:NYSE), which I do not.

Tea Party Alive Fighting Tyranny

Certainly, the journalistic standards of the mainstream media have totally collapsed, rendering these media outlets dead and buried, and any semblance of truth, vacated. An recent example of this can be found in recent articles declaring the Tea party, who utilized a high level of decorum in opposition to government spending to the 2010 mid terms, as dead. ABC News and The Washington Post could be named as leaders in the reporting of this false narrative.

As it turns out, on a gorgeous sun splashed afternoon in Orlando on April 15, a Tea Party event took place with some 3000 patriots taking time out of valuable weekend time to stand in protest of excessive spending and the attack on the Constitution by the Obama regime. Bud Hedinger, of 540 WFLA, emceed the event which had a slew of strong speakers. Florida Governor Rick Scott was the headline, and he gave us a quarter hour of his implementation of sound economic theory he placed into practice, which has resulted in a decreasing unemployment rate and job creation.

KCarl Smith of the Frederick Douglass Republicans gave a passionate speech regarding the state of race politics, where the African American community just blindly vote Democrat. Smith purports that Frederick Douglass is the key to turning this mindset, and perhaps our countries future, around. I found tremendous merit in his message, which will expanded upon further in a later blog post.

Unfortunately, as the final speaker of the event, some missed a golden opportunity to hear commentary by Trevor Loudon, author of the book Barack Obama and the Enemies Within, and purveyor of The New Zeal blog. Loudon, a New Zealander, is a walking encyclopedia on the Obama regime and their nefarious associations, including strong ties to the Communist Party. Loudons Key-Wiki is an awesome tool in assembling the players and their associations, which are lengthy. Many Americans can't seem to grasp, and maybe they just can't face how easily they were duped, the type of individual elected to our highest office.

It was a great afternoon of patriotism and education for one and all, as the time to sit on the sidelines has long past as never in our lifetime have we faced such tyranny. While the media may be dead, the Tea Party is very much alive and kicking.

Crashing Arrogance

It had all the earmarks of something historic. Never did I think anyone in the public eye could reach to the level of our anointed President in terms of arrogance. After all, few can match the intellectual reach of the teleprompter in chief. That he takes timeout his day to engage us is something we should behold. Ugh!

Then comes Charlie Sheen. I remember him in the movie Wall Street. Although I have never watched one minute of his top rated CBS sitcom, I recognize that he is a top television star. He is obviously a wild partier, and appears to love mixing it up with porn stars. However, in a recent ABC interview, Sheen thinks he is galaxies above us real world folk and that we should marvel at the opportunity to watch from afar his level of brilliance.

I got a news flash for Sheen. Few, if anyone, could care. For Sheen to think we aspire to be married to marginal chicks while dating porn stars and chain smoking our way to lung cancer is laughable. He is rich in coin, but in little if anything else.

Obama will no doubt remain arrogant, but it appears Sheen is in need of some help, and I hope he finds the answers he is yet to start looking for.

ABC News Awakes From Coma!

An extension of the unemployment benefits is being "blocked" by Senator Jim Bunning (R:KY). Certainly, the American people deserve answers as to why Sen. Bunning, obviously an evil public servant, would place so many jobless American workers on the verge of starvation! The horror of it all!

Thankfully, for us idiots at large, ABC News is on the story like a cat in a tree at 4th and Main!

Good Grief! The media bias and hypocrisy on this is in the stratosphere.

As a youngster, I switched from Cronkite and CBS over to Peter Jennings and ABC News World News Tonight as my preference. In recent years, I have briefly met both Diane Sawyer and Charles Gibson, who both seemed to be neat people.

But ABC News has been nothing short of asleep at the switch for the better part of a decade. Recall Charlie Gibson stumbling around having no idea of the goings on of ACORN when they were exposed? Where was ABC, or any of the 3 networks, when Obama's radical czars were exposed, on the exposing of Charlie Rangel's many illegal activities, Obama's relationship with ACORN and stimulus money going to Congressional districts that do not exist? Surely they were all over Barney Frank and Chris Dodd's practically criminal oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Have they questioned Nancy Pelosi, who proclaimed to clean out swamp and run the most ethical House evah, on the long list of unethical behavior in the House? Paygo? Hello!

They completely missed the tea parties for crying out loud! And what about the global warming scandals?

For a myriad of reasons, with bias being at or near the top of the list, the network news divisions are quickly becoming a dinosaur. As Bernie Goldberg put it, if you are heading up one of these news divisions, you are essentially running a morgue.

Serves them right! And for the record, Bunning is still right!

Exposing of ACORN Exposes Media

Thankfully, behind Glenn Beck, Andrew Breibart and the new Woodward and Bernstein, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, ACORN has blown up. I have previously blasted ACORN on this blog on numerous occasions, labeling them as the criminal enterprise portal they are.

It seems hard to believe anyone with a lick of common sense could have not recognized the significant problems with ACORN, but leave it to our media. It is far time to call them out, and Bill O'Reilly does just that.

What on earth is ABC News pointman Charlie Gibson thinking? Remember, Gibson hammered Sarah Palin about being not well read, and he has not a clue about ACORN? In his own words! Oh good heavens! I had occasion to meet Mr. Gibson at GMA, and he could not have been kinder. But, he should retire to sailing and leave the journalism part to people who take the responsibility seriously. And, if Sarah Palin has failed to be up to speed on current events, and she has not, what would we be left to conclude for someone charged to be engaged in the news of the day to be so uninformed? Media bias?

Glenn Beck finally broke down and called the media complicit in using the news divisions as arms of the current administration. Beck, as usual, is correct. I always thought the news media, or essentially the network news divisons and the major daily newspapers, had a repsonsibility to the citizenry to provide checks and balances of our elected government. Just the facts.

If those days ever existed, they are gone. Hannah and James for the next Pulitzer!

Media Malfeasance Jumps Shark

Most of the major newspapers are dying, not only from diminishing market share due to the internet, but because of the lack of journalistic integrity of the reporting. Objective reporting on the three major networks is regrettably a mere historical footnote. If not previously visible, the 2008 election was confirmation. Without question, the media is completely in the tank for Barack Obama, and spearheading the group is NBC News.

From the seemingly personal love affair with the Commander in Peacock Barack Obama by chief Washington correspondent John Harwood to the sense of royalty conveyed by NBC Nightly News host Brian Williams, the days of stellar journalism by the once proud peacock are dead.

Alarmingly, the brass at the very top seem to be directing this behavior, with parent company General Electric (GE:NYSE) CEO Jeffery Immelt, whose company stands to financially benefit from emerging green technologies Obama is employing. Perhaps that is what led Immelt to be asked to be on Obama's economic leadership panel. Certainly, it could not have been the stock price, which has crashed.

In a mind boggling move, ABC News is not to be outdone. ABC announced today that they will broadcast World News Tonight from the White House a week from Wednesday and then turn over programming for a special primetime event, "Prescription for America" to highlight the administrations health care agenda. This "town hall" meeting will be anything but, as dissenting voices will not be welcome. So much for Obama's appreciation for "robust debate".

This is beyond disturbing and our founding fathers would be appalled. Without GOP participation, which was denied, certainly the Democratic National Committee will be footing the bill. As a shareholder of The Walt Disney Corporation (DIS:NYSE), owners of The American Broadcasting Company, I will demand it by firing off a condemnation letter tomorrow. Could you imagine they will care?

The senior citizen crowd that grew up with Walter Cronkite and David Brinkley trust these folks still today, citing it as unfathomable they could be such unethical presenters of the world affairs. The younger voting block is right in tune with the rock star, so two thirds of the electorate is scammed by the media, creating a tough situation to overcome. Will the truth eventually win out? Will we still be a capitalistic society when it happens?

Don McLean sung about the day the music died in his wonderful song American Pie. Today, officially, network television objective journalism, previously on life support, died.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama took shots at Fox News and CBS News found it necessary to torpedo former President George W. Bush. Again. Good Grief!

CNBC's Santelli Has Had Enough

While much of America drinks their morning coffee while keeping an eye on ABC's Good Morning America or The Today Show on NBC, as an investor I am listening to Squawk Box on CNBC while keeping an eye on the lovely Alexis Glick on FOX Business Money For Breakfast.

This morning, CNBC anchors Becky Quick, Carl Quintinilla and Joe Kernen were joined by billionaire investor Wilbur Ross of WL Ross & Co. and Jason Roney of Sharmac Capital. Joining the discussion from his daily perch at the Chicago Board of Trade was CNBC's Rick Santelli. The group was discussing the governments plan to save the economy and things quickly got out of hand, as Santelli blasted the Obama Administration's mortgage plan.

Kernen, a big fan of The Gipper, gives Santelli the rope to firebomb Obama. This is just great!

America is at a crossroads, and it is imperative that you take a page from Santelli's book and make sure your voice is heard. The ship is sinking, but most are just drinking up listening to the sounds of the band. Here is an avenue where you can join me and make your voice heard!

God Bless America, and thanks to Rick Santelli for speaking out!

Free Speech Attacked

After a local television reporter dared to ask the Obama-Biden campaign some tough but legitimate questions, the ABC News affiliate has been placed on probation, no longer able to have access to the campaign until after the election.

First, some background. WFTV Channel 9 is my local ABC affiliate here in lovely downtown Orlando. Although they have some decent personnel, Eye-missed-it-news is like most other local news stations. If it bleeds it leads, they frequently break into programming, yes unfortunately during third down and five, to report about a sunshower in some two light town just on the fringe of their coverage area because they are there for us and would not know a county commission meeting if it broke out in their parking lot, and it almost does due to proximity.

But longtime professional reporter Barbara West connected on a three run homer with this Biden interview, daring to tread where most of the mainstream media would not consider. Excellent job Barbara!! Take a listen.

Without question, these are legitimate questions and should not have caused such a stir given the recent encounter Obama had with Joe the Plumber. But beyond the obvious, the real troubling aspect is how Obama is treating reporters and stations which dare to challenge him. Can you say fairness doctrine?

Media analyst Bernard Goldberg, formerly of CBS News, weighs in on the subject on FOX News Fox & Friends. Bernie calls it like he sees it.

Can you imagine if George W. Bush banned the media that challenged him? Remember the uproar when it was incorrectly thought Gen. Colin Powell cut short a NBC interview on Meet The Press with Tim Russert?

The arrogance of Obama and Biden is staggering. Although odds strongly favor this is an example of how a potential Obama administration will deal with those against them, one can only hope it is not. America will change dramatically should Obama get elected, and I think all you zombies will not quite like what is in store for you down the road should it happen. Censorship of the media by quiting the opposition, would be among the first nails in the coffin of the America we once knew.

Wake Up America!!!!!!!!!!

Sarah Palin Visits Greater Orlando

Sarah Palin spoke at the Sliver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee this afternoon as part of the McCain-Palin Victory Tour. I attended the event and here are some photos:

Palin was introduced by Elisabeth Hasselback of ABC's The View and along for the event was Sean Hannity of FOX News Hannity & Colmes. I have been a fan of Sarah Palin long before John McCain picked her for the VP slot. After meeting her, I found her stronger than advertised. She has quite a future ahead of her.

What Am I Talking About; Reprise

Gaffmaster VP candidate Joe Biden, D:DE, went running off at the mouth again. Usually, his antics are quite entertaining, including the three letter word jobs he spoke of this past week.

But Biden went off the deep end this week with some very dark commentary as reported by ABC News. Biden says "to mark his words" that if elected, Senator Barack Obama, D:IL, would be tested internationally within the first six months in power. Biden continued, "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy." This cannot be good!

As if that were not sobering enough, Biden further commented "And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."

What am I talking about? Does Biden know something we don't? It sure sounds that way. Certainly, the commentary about us hanging in with Barack cause it won't appear we are right is most troubling. Sounds like I need a concealed weapons permit quick.

I recommend we just skip the mettle testing and elect a war hero with decades of foreign policy experience, where doubting his resolve and geopolitcal knowledge is not required. Gee, reason 43,454 to vote for John McCain over Barack Obama.

Since the media is projecting the makeup of Obama's cabinet, I will help McCain out with one of his selections, Secretary of State. The man is John Bolton. Please take a listen to his commentary on the subject below in an interview with FOX's Hannity and Colmes:

Biden is right, Obama will be tested. Biden was also right that the Presidency, particularly at this vulnerable time, does not lend itself for on the job training. Wake up America, and see this for what it is, a very easy decision as you cast your vote November 4.
