A few weeks back, I had the occasion to visit with Breitbart's Sonnie Johnson. The impressive Johnson is not playing around; she is firebombing TRUTH!
Johnson is a disciple of Andrew Brietbart, the conservative innovator who dies suddenly just when the fight of Obama's overreach hit full stride. The Breitbart Organization was founded by those associated with Andrew to continue his, our, fight. "I promised Andrew 2 things... More voices and I'll sell freedom...I will keep my promise" said Johnson.
Johnson notes the GOP establishment fails to recognize and build upon their own history. Beyond the recent rejection of the Tea Party movement, they fail miserably in the inclusion of the African American community, whose long history in the party houses Booker T. Washington and MLK.
An army of folks are ready to embrace freedom and liberty, but the GOP fails to recognize their value while embracing the continuance of the ruling class.
"They want rain without thunder and lightning."--Frederick Douglass.
It is time we roll in with some thunder, disrupting the business as usual crony capitalism we find so commonplace in today's world. It is time we all stand with Sonnie!

An Avenue For Prosperity For All
America is being taken down from within. Quickly, and by design.
One the tools being utilized by those in power to accomplish this feat is by pitting groups, classes and races of our citizenry against one another. With the help of the ministry of propaganda, the mainstream media, the efforts have been most successful.
Race has been a particularly useful tool by the Obama administration, from the cops acting stupidly in Boston to failing to prosecute voter intimidation in Philadelphia.
Individuals who question the policies of Obama are considered racist. Groups who offer opposition are labeled terrorists. Vice President Joe Biden called Tea Party Members terrorists, and many of the low information voters lack the necessary acumen to decipher how incorrect this is. If you think these were actions of the past, just yesterday college republicans were turned away after attempting to attend a speech by President Obama at the University of Central Missouri. They were prevented from attending "for the presidents protection".
There are many other examples, but a shooting in Sanford, Florida provided the optimal platform for those in power to stoke the fires. Even though this event involved a Hispanic and a black, seemingly at the direction of the administration, the media, with particular help from NBC, the case morphed into a major race dividing case.
With local news boiling over in the immediate aftermath of the, I drew some conclusions based upon the information I had gathered. As the case has settled, with George Zimmerman having been found not guilty by a jury of his peers, after hearing the evidence, I note that some of my initial thoughts were off the mark.
Evidence to suggest Zimmerman was in any way a racist was completely absent. In fact, evidence suggests the contrary, most specifically noted by media reports that he mentored a couple of young black children. Also, evidence says Zimmerman did attempt to go back to his vehicle after being directed by the 911 operator, but was met and subsequently attacked by Trayvon Martin. We have learned Martin was a young man traveling down the wrong path having made several recent mistakes in judgement. The state overcharged he case, and based on the evidence, the only verdict that could be reached was innocent as charged.
It is noted that both parties could have prevented the event from happening, but tragically, that did not happen.
Although the state of Florida did not bring the Stand Your Ground Law into the case, leftist progressives have seized the opportunity to rail against the law and are seeking to have it eliminated. I am sure they are unaware the Obama, while in the Illinois state Senate, co-sponsored a bill to strengthen the law in Illinois. Hypocrite?
With the usual race hustlers Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson leading the way, the case has driven a wedge in between normally sensible folks. Rather than recognizing an individual is legally entitled to protect themselves from being mortally wounded, since Martin was black, the law seems to be readily discarded. It seems, as Pastor Ken Hutcherson says, many blacks have put their blackness ahead of everything, including God. This is not healthy.
President Obama, who self proclaims himself as in company with our great presidents, had a once in a lifetime opportunity to be Lincolnite and use his position to strongly enhance race relations, with malice toward none and charity to all. No such luck.
Obama has been divisive, attacking religion and tradition and encouraging entitlements, which tramples the incentive and spirit of many a man. In fact, a new poll from NBC News and the Wall Street Journal submit that race relations have plummeted since Obama took office.
Obama is crushing the economy through his policies, and the unemployment levels among young black men are at historical highs. Without the economic means to improve their lives, many young men in the inner cites have had their opportunities greatly diminished. Obama also cut significantly the voucher program, virtually eliminating another important vehicle for youngsters to better their educational opportunities.
In Obama's hometown of Chicago, black on black murders of young men is at a tragic and embarrassing rate. Although the bankruptcy of Detroit had been coming at us for quite some time, many of the problems that led to the demise of the Motor City center around the problems associated in the inner city black community. The demise of the traditional family in these communities is beyond alarming, and a central factor in the problems.
Obama has done nothing to assist the situation. In fact, in attacking the churches, many of which operate schools, vehicles of escape such as education outside the public school system and spiritual opportunities in the inner cities, have been greatly diminished.
Bill O'Reilly has had enough, and blasted all those in charge in a tremendous "Talking Points".
The problems in the inner cities, particularly in the black community, are seemingly out of control. Race relations are weakening among many, with Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder encouraging the negative discourse. Obama has wasted a golden opportunity, and unlike Lincoln, finds malice with many and exhibits charity toward elites only.
I do not have the answers to these problems. I think economic enterprise zones as championed by the late Jack Kemp could be helpful given crime can be controlled. Those in these communities could learn plenty and set solid foundations by embracing faith, reading the writings of Frederick Douglass and implementing the non-violent leadership by example, with respect of the law exhibiting class and dignity of someone they all claim to admire; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
If America could get this corrected and headed in the right directions, imagine the prosperity for all.

Diligent Hands Bring Wealth

It is clear that President Obama, from pronouncements that the Constitution is a flawed document to his actions, not only failing to uphold, but seeking to change the Constitution, does not adequately respect the Constitution or the divinely inspired Founding Fathers who created it.
This is in stark contrast to Douglass, who said "The American Constitution in s written instrument full and complete in itself. No Court in America,, no Congress, no President, can add a single word therto, or take single word therefrom. It is a great national enactment done by the people. and can only be altered, amended or added to by the people."
Florida Senator Marco Rubio and his gang of eight compadres feverishly work on an immigration bill that rewards those who broke the law and will create an overwhelming level of entitlements bankrupting our nation.
Rubio and his republican counterparts supportive of this legislation worry that without supporting amnesty for those illegal immigrants already here while paving a way to legal immigration, the democrats will generate a corner on the market for Hispanic votes moving forward.
First and foremost, disregarding the rule of law for votes is an appalling trade off void of the principles our nation was founded upon. Secondly, the whole premise is false and needs to be rejected.
The immigration bill is not about votes, or for the benefit of the immigrants who are supposedly living in the shadows; it is about control.
If the GOP fears issues finding enough voters to strengthen their relevance, beyond placing conservatives on the ballot drawing a significant distinction against the progressives, there is a clear pathway for the GOP to never lose another election. Frederick Douglass is the answer.
Douglass, a republican, recognized that free market capitalism is the best path to prosperity, noting “If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters."
In aggregate, as evidenced by the voting record, the black population has let the evil of racism and vengeance cloud their perspective restricting the avenues of progress which lay before them. Many who are Christian have reconciled disarming these arbitrary handicaps from prohibiting their pursuit of happiness.
The Democrats, through enacting entitlements which are designed to rob individuals of their identity and leave them dependant on an increasingly oppressive government, get the overwhelming majority of black votes but are the cause of the greater majority of harm riddling the community. The issues range from the breakdown of the traditional family, a unspeakably low marriage rates, low educational progress and extremely high crime rates and drug usage. There has been little improvement in recent decades, with regression under the Obama administration
If only those lost in the black community could have their eyes opened. Recently down in Louisiana, State Senator Elbert Guillory changed to the republican party after fully comprehending what heroes like Douglass and Martin Luther King already knew. Guillory explained "Why I Am a Republican", and this should be mandatory viewing for our friends in the black community. Take a listen:
“This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress,” said Douglass.
As Guillory recognizes, blacks, and for that matter, individuals ill-informed of the history and government action engaging in various forms of oppression, often welcome governance that restricts freedom and liberty through control mechanisms disguised as entitlements. Of course, there is no free lunch. These governmental actions are generally driven by democrats, not by republicans.
Douglass noted that "Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth." Through leaders like C. L Bryant, KCarl Smith of The Frederick Douglass Republicans, Ken Hutcherson, Allen West and fine new media outlets like The Black Quill and Ink blog, it is hoped word can spread alerting the black community their future belongs to them, with their successes encouraged and embraced by all Americans.
Hopefully, as quipped by Rabbi Daniel Lapin, focus can be accurately placed upon the big G, as in God, rather than the little g, as in government. Imagine the prosperity for all. Douglass would be teared with joy!

Actions In Contrast Of A King

Recently, a Facebook post came across my page where an individual claimed MLK meant nothing to him and he wondered why a holiday was wasted in such fashion. Sadly, this individual is grossly lacking the proper historical perspective on Dr. King, an individual most worthy of the high regard our nation holds him in. Dr. King was a deep man of faith, who preached equality and personal responsibility through peace, civility and love with exemplary leadership in rhetoric and action.
While it is hard to imagine the goings on back when Dr. King led his movement, rest assured his work was righteous and most difficult, ultimately costing him his life. King was relentless and did not waiver in his grand objectives, but he had faith in what he was working to accomplish and knew he would have history on his side.
If you examine the picture below of Dr. King leading a march, while you can see his resolve, you can also clearly see the fear written on he and his fellow civil rights activists faces.
Sadly, over the years with the help of a leftist media in concert to rewrite history, the legacy of Dr. King has been hijacked. All sorts of folks, white and black, have allowed those wishing to alter King historically succeed.
Take the Facebook post for the director of Showtime, LA Laker great Earvin "Magic" Johnson, a 2012 Hall of Bahl inductee.
No doubt about it, Magic has love for Dr. King correctly noting that King's efforts paved the way for individuals like Magic to achieve greatness. Perhaps Magic does not fully understand the new definition of social justice, but Dr. King would be against it.
Social justice as defined by the left has a strong transformation of wealth component built in, complete with a perceived faith based obligation for the government to provide basic services. The government takeover of health care and the increasing of taking wealth from the makers to provide to an exponentially expanding group of takers are prime examples.
King wanted, accurately, for individuals, most notably the discriminated against the African American community, to be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. In addition, individuals should be rewarded and afforded opportunities to reach higher levels based on merit and work ethic, which is in direct contrast to the entitlement philosophy of the Obama administration. King knew that if you disrespect the individual robbing them of their identity and incentive through offering handouts as opposed to opportunity was in itself a form of slavery and against the free market principles King believed in.
More importantly was the approach of King, who stressed respect and demeanor, for King knew if his movement advocated violence, their credibility would be lost. That is in far contrast to the Democratic leaders of today, who claim to carry the torch King so eloquently lit.
See Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D:CA) leading a gang reenacting the picture above as they went to vote on Obamacare, The lens is dripping with arrogance, but in my opinion there is a strong disrespect for the battle King fought and the principles he believed in.
King was all about civility, both in how he carried himself and instructed his movement, and in how he respected the laws and system of governance. King learned lessons from Frederick Douglass, but unfortunately, those who claim to be his torch bearers would draw ire from King if he were alive today.
King was all about non violence, but he was not involved in advancing gun control. King believed in the family and the role of faith in the family, and wold be heartbroken at the disrepair of the African American family and how God has been shown the door. King would certainly be against abortion.
In contrast to the example King set forth, get a load of the lack of civility witnessed on inauguration day:
- Paul Ryan, (R:WI) was booed by a cross section of Democrats and the progressive media, who celebrated the lack of civility rather than acting in behavior Dr. King would applaud.
- Obama could not leave Ryan alone, taking a jab at him in his inaugural speech.
- Sarah Palin posted some lovely commentary in honor of Dr. King only to be brutalized by leftists.
- Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D:NY) likened Republicans to suicide bombers; a hideous choice of words to be sure.
- First Lady Michelle Obama disrespected Hosue Speaker John Boehner at the inaugural lunch.
- Rev. Jonathan V. Newman presiding at the Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church, offering prayers with President Obama on the second row, asked God’s blessing for him and his family. “But also prepare him for battle … because sometimes enemies insist on doing it the hard way,”
- CBS News political director John Dickerson wrote a piece this week calling on Obama to "pulverise" and "go for the throat" of Republicans. So much for the media bias defense.
These are truly despicable people, narcissists who have little respect for the American people. MLK would have little common ground with progressives acting in this disrespectful fashion.
King was conservative in his values and principles, which led him to lean republican. CNN unleashed an article condemning the notion, for it certainly disrupts the narrative. "But those who marched with King and studied his work say that notion is absurd. The political class that once opposed King, they argue, is now trying to distort his message."
The opposite is true.
Dr. Alveda King, has spoke candidly regarding her Uncle and where he stood on many of the issues of the day. Alveda spends the majority of her time in anti-abortion advocacy, but is a frequent guest on many outlets and happy to talk about her beloved Uncle Martin. In 2010, she joined Pastor Stephen Broden in a great discussion on The Glenn Beck radio program. Read the transcript HERE.
As reported in "Frederick Douglass Republicans": by K. Carl Smith, King supported and voted for Dwight David Eisenhower for President. King subscribed to the conclusions drawn by Frederick Douglass regarding the three fifths clause, a much misrepresented aspect of the Constitution which contrary to leftist propaganda was anti-slavery.
The left are those who, as is alarmingly true with many historical positions, has transformed and changed the history regarding Dr. Martin Luther King. While most are reveling in the drama of the arrogant and narcissistic President Obama, those who are patriots remember and cherish the contributions and sacrifice of one of the truly great Americans; Dr. Martin Luther King.
Dan Calabrese writes about who deserves adulation today. It is King, In the Name of Love.

Tea Party Alive Fighting Tyranny

It was a great afternoon of patriotism and education for one and all, as the time to sit on the sidelines has long past as never in our lifetime have we faced such tyranny. While the media may be dead, the Tea Party is very much alive and kicking.
