Dr. Benjamin Carson, after quite an effort, has recognized there is no path to victory for him in the rub for the 2016 GOP nomination.
Carson's run was not a defeat for him, or true Americans who recognize him and his accomplishments. Not those in his professional and personal life, which are extensive and heralded.
While his campaign had successes, there were more hiccups. But through it all, Carson exhibited a calm demeanor with class and humor.
Could someone insult me? Carson quipped during the last debate, as he found himself absent from the dialogue. Carson has several of those moments along the campaign.
This man can help America in a multitude of ways beyond the significant contributions he has already made.
If Dr. Carson is willing, it is my hope whoever wins the nomination will find a meaningful position for Dr. Carson. Not for political purposes, but to use his wonderful skills to benefit our nation.
Surgeon General? If we are going to have Health and Human Services, pick Carson to run it. The VA? I have no doubt Carson would get things right for our beloved veterans. I would not rule of VP for that matter.
Or maybe, as has been floated today, Carson could attempt to win Marco Rubio's departed senate seat here in Florida. While we have some solid candidates already in the field, as a voter in the Sunshine State, I would welcome Carson entering the race.
Carson is a great man, and although he has suspended his campaign for the GOP nomination for president, I hope Carson does not exit the political stage, as he is an individual we could all benefit greatly from having his participation and leadership.

Futures Begin With A Pop
Over the last several years, it has been a great pleasure of mine to have participated with the events for young athletes and scholars through the Pop Warner organization. I have attended many a football game, with eyes fixated not only on the gridiron, but on the lovely young cheerleader teams lending their support.
Like any organization of this scope with such a long history, Pop Warner is not without their share of issues. With a strong participation from volunteers, it sort of goes with the territory. But it should be noted, and it will be here and now, that the opportunities presented to our youth through this fine organization are endless, as the life lessons obtained will power the success of these future leaders for a lifetime.
The regional and national awards banquets are an outstanding avenue of recognition for the scholar athletes, who are recognized not only for their athletic prowess but for their work in the classroom and in the community.
Should you have children of age, I would highly recommend you giving consideration to having your child be participatory in the opportunities afforded within this organization. Not only have hundreds of thousands of children benefited from their involvement, many parents have as well. Friendships formed help form the bedrock of principles many of us as individuals and teammates seek to hold dear.
As my time has expired for intimate involvement, I will cherish with great appreciation the time spent with my family and other families as we supported the fine young people involved, who without doubt, will be the future leaders of this great country.
May God Bless them all!

Crash And Burn
When America is weak, the bad actors around the world are far from the Obama administration described tranquillity, elevating encroachment of territory, breaching of treaties and increasing acts of terrorism.
Without question, America is weak and the world is on fire.
Russian President Vladamir Putin continues to exercise through economic and military action in his desire to invade neighboring countries who broke apart from Russia reestablishing Russia and their impact on the global platform. Without question, Putin is not to be considered an ally of The United States.
Publicly, Putin and Obama appear to have a very terse relationship. Perhaps this animosity is based on arrogance, but with Obama having been caught on a "hot-mic' pledging to have more flexibility after the election, which he surprisingly won rather easily, one has to wonder.
Amidst the weakness of the US and the west overall, The conflict between Russian and Ukraine escalated significantly last week when a Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 flight MH 17, traveling at approximately 33,000 feet, was blasted out of the sky by a missile.
President Obama, seemingly unfazed by geopolitical events with significant bearing on worldwide stability, issued commentary failing to be representative of the leader of the free world, but rather that of a simple man embedded with narcissism focused on his own celebrity satisfaction. Get this:
President Obama has openly compared himself to each of our greatest Presidents, but he could learn quite a bit from the only one of those men who held that office during his lifetime; Ronald Reagan.
How would President Reagan have responded to such a barbaric attack? Well, a South Korean jetliner was shot down by Russian fighter jets in 1983, so we can answer that question. Megyn Kelly of FOX News "The Kelly File" rolls the tape:
The distinction of leadership of these two men is astonishing; however, Reagan loved America and freedom and had both in his heart when he spoke to the nation. President Obama seeks to level the playing field for America with the rest of the world, limiting our what he deems as our oppressive presence on the world stage.
Although we presume his political career is soon to conclude, President Obama ran off to continues carry an exhaustive schedule of fundraising. In addition, photo ops and recreational activities inclusive of yet another round of golf were taken in.
Meanwhile, 298 folks died a needless and horrifying death; but at the hands of whom?
The weaponry needed to pull off striking the airliner at that range is rather sophisticated, with additional expertise needed from individuals on the ground to use the weapon with such accuracy.
The 24 hour mainstream news cycle was all over this one, and it became clear quickly Russia and Putin were considered the culprits, either directly or indirectly by through surrogate fighters on the ground. The media presented this as factual the airliner was struck by a Russian Buk missile, although evidence continues to be gathered, compromised or stolen.
While most note the Russian separatists have taken the missile launcher back to Russia and those on the ground have confiscated evidence. Obama thinks Ukrainian rebels are prohibiting the investigation, if there is one engaged upon at this time.
However, do we know what we think we know? Are we, enabled by our propagandist media, jumping to conclusions? Former Congressman Ron Paul thinks so, a result of past government and media distortion and distraction.
We are alerted that the Buk missile, as described on its own Wikipedia page, likely was not the missile system utilized in the attack due to fragmentation warhead, which does not match photographic evidence of the wreckage.
Reports indicated the plane was diverted into that air space. Why would that be the case, and if that is false, why would the plane be taking that path anyway. There appears to be video evidence of strike, and almost immediately there was a YouTube conversation between the purported superiors of those who fired the missile. Reported facts are really in serious question.
If you really want a conspiracy theory, imagine, with Russia and China reportedly attempting to crash the US dollar, which is understandable given our increasing debt, did US forces act to change world perception of Putin and Russia as a economic world player who cannot be trusted and has militant aspirations. Consider former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson confirmed the effort of economic terrorism was attempted in 2008.
While it will be interesting to see this all play out, we must be reminded 298 innocent lives were lost.
I suspect Russian ground operatives made the ultimate fuck up, thinking the airliner was a transport plane. With the plane down, each side is making effort to cast guilt upon the other. Due to the lack of leadership in Washington, pressure from the west to reign in action over there is futile.
It is worth noting, that while we are considering that the objectives of the Obama administration are similar to ours, we must recall that the election is over and Obama may be demonstrating his flexibility to Putin. To remake American, you must first unmake America.
Sadly, it likely includes further steps in transforming The United States of America from the leader in freedom and prosperity in the world to simply a rook on the world chess board; deservedly so in the mind of our 44th president.
Perhaps Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 flight MH 17 won't be the only crash and burn victim.

Legends In Their Own Minds
Oh, those victories are piling up, aren't they.
Although we are continuously informed of unimagined success via false rhetoric and propaganda, the reality on the ground cascades into defeat.
At least President Obama is a legend in his own mind, and in the narrow halls of the Obamabots mind sets.
Our opponents stand in astonishment that we have elected such an individual to lead our once great nation; either an economic and international relations neophyte or an individual with identifiable to goals to bring this country to its knees through wealth redistribution to seemingly right ill-perceived wrongs in effort to promote social justice with equal opportunity, and outcomes.
Both lines of thinking will escalate the demise of this nation as we have known it, and just might get tens of thousands killed.
Take the Global War on Terror.
According to Obama, under his brilliant leadership, al Qaeda is on the run, with only factions, or in the words of that major sports fan Obama, the jay-vees, still causing limited trouble these days. The war is over, again not possible without his intellectual acumen, and we can all rest easy now.
Except, the al Qeada flag was just recently raised over Fallujah and Ramadi, both located in the Anwar province of Iraq. In fact, as Breitbart reports, Jim Bridenstine (R-OK), a former Navy pilot and combat Veteran in Iraq, says these locations are being used to launch attacks into Syria.
Remember Syria?
Recall back in August, President Obama took to the national airways to plead for national support to take this country to war against Syria, who Obama described as having used chemical weapons on its own people. What ever came of that? Why is Obama no longer tearfully concerned about those poor children.
President Obama, not considering victory as a goal, informed a war weary nation he would end the war, and in his mind, he has with roaring success. But in reality, he has waved the flag of surrender, (don't think for a moment he finds this negative), making all our spilled treasure practically worthless all the while having placed the United States in an increasingly vulnerable position.
Our "scheduled" retreat provides far reaching opportunities for our enemies, and while everything is sunshine and lollipops according to Obama and his propaganda mechanized media. Last Christmas Eve, Buck Sexton of The Blaze, offers us a legit scorecard of our foreign policy and national security.
There have been such "limited"events such as the Boston bombing, but none are more attention grabbing at the moment than the warnings of terror attacks surrounding the upcoming Olympics in Russia.
Amid a rash of terror threats, considered by most as active and alarmingly legitimate, there is growing concern worldwide which has resulted in unprecedented steps being taken to secure the games. Alerts for as many as four "black widows" and a "white widow," the wife of a dead terrorist, have been released by authorities, with fear these operatives have already infiltrated the immediate area of the games.
The hunt is on, and various news agencies, including FOX News and CNN, have reported that the US has positioned war ships within reach for a multitude of scenarios.
Russia President Vladamir Putin has vowed to "do whatever it takes" to secure the games, but Russia has a tainted history in dealing with these terrorists. Putin does not appear to be seeking much help from US authorities, although past working relationships in this arena have achieved results.
Sadly, the United States, under President Obama, has no credibility in terms of working relationships with allies in this arena, and furthermore, through weakness, has failed to present a stern front against the terrorists, rather embracing bad actors who harbor terrorists while embracing dialogue with those countries who actively engage in terrorist activities. See Iran, who is now estimated to be only within weeks of being able to produce a nuclear weapon.
It is this lack of resolve, void of leadership, and a dovish if not sympathetic position on the extensive dangers of terrorism, that emboldens our enemies and increases opportunities for their success. I subscribe to the Reagan philosophy of peace through strength, which is the opposite of the international relations being currently implemented by this strong reemergence of the blame America first crowd.
The global war on terror is not over.
I fear, having put these small minded arm chair philosophers fresh from the faculty lounge in charge, America and our partners in the west may indeed pay a steep price for not fighting these terrorist with a full arsenal. If so, the reasons we were placed in such a position of vulnerability should be quite clear.
It would rest with our current leadership, Ms. Clinton included, who are legends in their own minds.

Caller ID
It is time for true leadership, contrary to what we currently have.
Look no further than the natural disaster of Hurricane Sandy. With his leadership qualities being appropriately questioned, President Obama promptly sought any and every opportunity to visit the affected areas and engage in the tasks we commonly expect from our President. It was the proper action, although we could been spared him interjecting his campaign slogan "Lean Forward" into official statements while his surrogates were ridiculing Mitt Romney for utilizing previously scheduled campaign events as opportunities to collect food and clothing in an effort to help those in need.
The timing is right for Obama, who was praised today by GOP fire breather New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for his prompt and non wavering assistance, to look presidential, which he does well. For Obama, he can focus on overseeing the already plotted avenues of federal aid, rather than answer burning questions about the events in Benghazi. And without question, the media will oblige him
For the President to act in a politically expedient fashion during times of natural disaster is truly sad, but actions in this regard with those charged with representing the United States either in military or civilian service, as we recently witnessed in Benghazi, is beyond dishonorable.
Womens United PAC, and most of America, has had enough.
We need a President who answers the call all the damn time, not when it is politically advantageous. It is far time for principled, honorable leadership in Washington.
Elect Mitt Romney!

The Blame Game
I have often said that many of the lessons of life can be learned on the gridiron, or in sports in general. On the defensive side of the ball, there are areas of responsibility which take great discipline so you don't get caught out of position.
If you get caught out of position, there is nowhere to hide when the game film gets reviewed, and to command the respect of the coaches and your teammates, you must take responsibility.
I wish our Commander in Chief, who folks claim is a basketball star who took time off the hardwood to help America out by becoming our President, could have the intestinal fortitude to accept responsibility of his failures without blaming anybody, everybody and everything for his shortcomings.
Sadly, he cannot, and everyone is noticing, including the Republican National Committee. This is stunning, and true. Take a look:
Earlier in the week, former General Electric Chairman Jack Welch, widely considered among the top CEO's of the last quarter century, joined Larry Kudlow on the Kudlow Report to discuss the disappointing lack of discipline and character.
Not surprisingly, Kudlow's interview with Welch raised many an eyebrow, including the nations top editorial page over at Investors Business Daily.
It is the man lacking in character that loses discipline, fails to be accountable for failures, blames others and resorts to divisive rhetoric for personal gain. It takes a man of strong moral character to accept responsibility of their failures and learn from them. In the political world, it is men of strong moral character, who refuse to violate their principles, that potentially emerge as statesmen.
Sadly, we do not have a man of strong moral character as our Commander in Chief at this time. In the sports world, for a supposed leader to consistently dodge accountability, play the blame game and work at dividing his locker room, he would find himself benched if not traded. Leadership of this regard as our President should command the same results as the sports world; a benching with time of the essence.
In America, with the amount of failures mouting heavily, it is obvious new leadership is promptly needed. Come November 2, 2012, so that our team of Patriots can reverse our trend of failure and the integrity of our great nation can be saved, the cancer leading our locker room must be benched, traded, or most notably, fired.
As Gov. Romney said today, start packing Obama!
