Information Misrepresentation: NBC News

Information presented to the Public by various outlets is being crafted to misrepresent reality in an effort to skew political thinking, gain economic advantage and nudge social justice further down the American psyche. This is the fourth in a series of blog posts detailing instances in this regard, as it is imperative the Public recognize the significant level of misrepresentation and how vast the manipulation is and gather information from trusted sources.

Information Misrepresentation: NBC News.

For years, NBC News was a respected outlet for news. Many may recall Chet Huntley and David Brinkley, and there were days when Tom Brokaw was credible. Sadly, this is no longer true. Perhaps the fatal blow came when General Electric (GE:NYSE) became the parent company of NBC, but at any rate, make no mistake, they are not presently accurate, cannot be trusted and are essentially Obama campaign members. Doubt me?

Although there were instances raising eyebrows, it was a two by four to the forehead during the emergence of the Tea Party in 2010. Please see the following report from MSNBC:

Oh my gosh! Racist white folks protesting out first black President are running around with machine guns at Tea Party rallies! It is not football season and I think Lee Corso is fishing; but not so fast my friend! MSNBC misrepresented the truth by a large measure, and risked placing people in harms way by playing the race card and potentially inciting riots. Please see a local ABC-TV report showing the real story:

Nothing has changed over at NBC, even though Comcast (CMSCA:NASDAQ) is now owner. NBC recently busted doctoring a tape of George Zimmerman, the Central Florida man who is charge with killing Travon Martin, which recently strained race relations.  No worries at 30 Rock.

In fact, with Obama dive bombing in recent polls, NBC has increased the propaganda. NBC correspondent Andrea Mitchell, wife of former FED Chair Alan Greenspan, blatantly edited a Mitt Romney speech in juvenile fashion in effort to misrepresent Romney's comments. Glenn Beck was not amused, and gives you the full story:

Recognizing the error of their ways, Andrea Mitchell cleared the air on her program. Well, at least she thinks she did. Beck is really fired up now, and you should be as well.

We have a very important election ahead of us,  and it is critical you get your information from trusted sources, and make no mistake, NBC is not one of them. This is regrettable. I have been on the Today Show and enjoy the history of the proud peacock and NBC News. But the days of solid reporting from this network are history, and they fake out thousands of our citizens who have formerly trusted this news division and have no idea they are sellouts for progressive interests.

There are countless examples of this type of activity, and NBC is not alone,  But, they are by far the worst and no longer even attempt journalism. It is worse than you think with these anti-America impostors, but now you know.

Yes, employ a sell signal should you own Comcast (CMSCA:NASDAQ) or General Electric (GE:NYSE), which I do not.

The Blame Game

I have often said that many of the lessons of life can be learned on the gridiron, or in sports in general. On the defensive side of the ball, there are areas of responsibility which take great discipline so you don't get caught out of position.

If you get caught out of position, there is nowhere to hide when the game film gets reviewed, and to command the respect of the coaches and your teammates, you must take responsibility.

I wish our Commander in Chief, who folks claim is a basketball star who took time off the hardwood to help America out by becoming our President, could have the intestinal fortitude to accept responsibility of his failures without blaming anybody, everybody and everything for his shortcomings.

Sadly, he cannot, and everyone is noticing, including the Republican National Committee. This is stunning, and true. Take a look:

Earlier in the week, former General Electric Chairman Jack Welch, widely considered among the top CEO's of the last quarter century, joined Larry Kudlow on the Kudlow Report to discuss the disappointing lack of discipline and character.

Not surprisingly, Kudlow's interview with Welch raised many an eyebrow, including the nations top editorial page over at Investors Business Daily.

It is the man lacking in character that loses discipline, fails to be accountable for failures, blames others and resorts to divisive rhetoric for personal gain. It takes a man of strong moral character to accept responsibility of their failures and learn from them. In the political world, it is men of strong moral character, who refuse to violate their principles, that potentially emerge as statesmen.

Sadly, we do not have a man of strong moral character as our Commander in Chief at this time. In the sports world, for a supposed leader to consistently dodge accountability, play the blame game and work at dividing his locker room, he would find himself benched if not traded. Leadership of this regard as our President should command the same results as the sports world; a benching with time of the essence.

In America, with the amount of failures mouting heavily, it is obvious new leadership is promptly needed. Come November 2, 2012, so that our team of Patriots can reverse our trend of failure and the integrity of our great nation can be saved, the cancer leading our locker room must be benched, traded, or most notably, fired.

As Gov. Romney said today, start packing Obama!

An Organized Collection Of Useful Idiots

A culmination of unfortunate events, some decades old, have led to many of those in their 20's being very torqued. Propelled and partially financed by radical extremists and embolden by the thuggery of the Obama Administration, many of the disgruntled young people have joined leftist groups coming together to protest everything American across the nation in what has become known as Occupy Wall Street.

Regrettably, what we actually have is leftist organizations, many backed by billionaire George Soros, supporting a group of young people who are sadly nothing more than useful idiots as many have no idea about what they are protesting, or basic economic theory for that matter.

Try to grasp you brain around the comments of these protesters in Occupy Oakland:

With the focus of the protests in Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan, the King of all Media, New York's Howard Stern, sent staff members down to get an assessment of what is happening. While FOX News host Geraldo Rivera was deeply moved, Stern and sidekick Robin Quivers were far from impressed.

FOX Business reporter and Wall Street veteran Charles Gasparino found nothing but Marxists.

It should be noted that the owners of Zuccotti Park, Brookfield Office Properties (BPO:NYSE), have ulterior motives for allowing the lawlessness taking place in the park as they have green energy interests that have received stimulus money from the Obama administration, as reported by the Business Insider.

Beyond the incredible lack of knowledge regarding common economic theory and business practices abound, another serious problem is very visible among the protesters. Not only rapidly growing globally, again fueled by Obama, anti-Israel sentiment is rampant. Get a load of this piece of garbage, whose parents must be beaming:

President Obama has stopped just short of vocalizing full support of these anti-American free loaders, but many of his friends and cohorts, Van Jones among them, are in full support. Chaos is an ally of this group, as they never let a crisis go to waste. In what is an excellent but unfortunate true dig at the always present straw man argument of President Obama, some aim to "re-create 68", complete with violence. God help us all!

If the young people, with sound education, massive debt, no jobs and a true fear for the future were not political lemmings, they would easily recognize that any protests belong not at Wall Street, but at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue due the horrendous economic policies engaged by the Obama administration.

Certainly, many big corporations have acted with malice leading up to and during this recession, as has government. Fannie Mae (FNMA:OTC), Freddie Mac (FMCC:OTC) and Bank of America (BAC:NYSE) come to mind. For me, I am working hard to distance myself from JP Morgan Chase (JPM:NYSE), Bank of America and General Electric (GE:NYSE). In addition, as a proud lifetime user of General Motors (GM:NYSE) vehicles, purchasing another new GM product is now on hold due their interaction with Obama.

While those who have broken the law on the corner of Wall and Broad must be punished, the young people protesting should embrace Wall Street and utilize it to build wealth for their future. Wall Street capital is the lifeblood for many growth companies, and investment opportunities are plentiful. Sure, you can get burned (have I told you the story of my investment in Level 3 Communications? (LVLT:NASDAQ), but you can also build quite a nest egg and you may even hit one like Google (GOOG:NASDAQ).

Of course, understanding basic economics is a must. Those protesting must recognize that for everything they get for free, someone somewhere paid for it. There is no free lunch. In a society with no incentives, innovations will be rare, which will lead ultimately to a dying society. Is America already committing suicide? Patrick J. Buchanan dives into the issue in his new book "Suicide of a Superpower".

Incentive and innovation produce many of the products these dopes are running around using, from cell phones to I-Pads. Many are seeking use of the restroom at a nearby McDonalds, one of the greatest growth stories of all time.

I encourage the protesters to join the party by buying in on Wall and Broad! Snare 100 shares of McDonalds (MCD:NYSE) and see what happens over the next decade or so. Become a shareholder, with skin in the game. Then, provided we adequately squelch the socialist uprising and re-establish once and for all the The Kudlow Creed that free market capitalism is the best path to prosperity, America will return to all her glory.

First On Race Day

I have been a happy GM customer all my automobile driving life. Chevy Trucks and Pontiac cars, with the Wide Track Grand Prix my favorite. Currently, each of one of those sits in the garage.

Then Obama and his biblical wisdom came along, forming a team to bailout the car companies, violate the rule of law screwing the auto bondholders, funnel money to union supporters and end the long running historical Pontiac brand. On top of that, now that the Government controls GM, out comes production of "green initiative" vehicles, such as the Chevy Volt. The Volt, which was on the way to be a sporty success before Obama's team stepped in, is now a cost prohibitive joke.

Ford Motor Company rejected government assistance. Although I am sure they needed help, it seems CEO Allan Mulally knew the costs of teaming up with the government. Taking risk seeking reward without using the taxpayer as a crutch is what America commerce is all about. America knows it, and so does Ford.

Have you driven a Ford lately? I see it in my future.

Now that the government owns GM, also known as Government Motors, they don't take kindly to Ford slamming them and the government in a recent advertisement.

With his poll numbers on a ski slope, the Obama administration, thugs that they are, take action to silence critics, as evidenced by reports the administration has strong armed Ford to pull the ad. The Blaze has the full report, which originally came from The Detroit News.

Although Ford denies they removed the ad due to White House pressure, just like your transmission going south, when there is smoke there is fire. Make no mistake, Ford does not want to be in the cross hairs of the White House, for they punish opponents.

With the government involved in free enterprise, free markets become negatively impacted due to the artificial influence and fail to function at full efficiency.

Needless to say, I am sprinting to the voting booth in November 2012, but in the meantime, I will refrain from supporting companies associated with Obama, which includes GM. And while we are on the subject, my rental properties will be GE appliance free going forward.

Have you driven a Ford lately? First on Race Day!

Who is Obamacare Army Adversary?

Previously, President Obama has openly spoken about his intention to form a civilian army, one with equal power to our military forces. Roll the tape:

Is there a need for this type of organization? What purposes does the President envision for this organization? What is the makeup of the individuals who will staff this organization? Who is the organization accountable to? These are just a few of the many questions I have. Glenn Beck, fellow sick twisted freak, has some questions as well:

I have found this administration untrustworthy, and find the announcement of the formation of the "Ready Reserve Corps" to be most troubling. You become an instant candidate for the Anti-Christ if in any way you were to compare Obama to Adloph Hitler, but did Hitler not form a civilian army which morphed into the SS?

I am not going there, yet, but I do see the potential for members of civil disobedience groups like ACORN or union thugs from SEIU staffing the Reserve Coprs. Will the Apollo Alliance, who astonishingly helped craft the stimulus bill, be part of the creative team? Of course, the NY division of Apollo is headed by Weather Underground co-founder, along with Obama's favorite unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, Jeff Jones. As reported by Atlas Shrugs, they have already began recruiting veterans to help launch an Operation Free” campaign that has veterans touring the country to call for federal action on climate change, which is perhaps the greatest hoax of all time. I could easily see former Green Jobs Czar Van Jones running point on this!

As alarming as this is, the organization is not set up to be accountable to American people through Congress, but only to the President. See the following:

3) APPOINTMENT.—Commissioned officers of the Ready Reserve Corps shall be appointed by the President and commissioned officers of the Regular Corps shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
Source pg 1312

Caution on the speedway!! I read that as advice and consent of the Senate, not accountable to the Senate, or the American people for that matter. This administration has bullied the other legislative branches, threatening Congress and admonishing in front of the American people the Supreme Court of The United States, attempting to diminish their power. Our country is built on among other things a system of checks and balances, to prohibit abuses of power. I consider the President forming his own army accountable only to him for undefined domestic purposes such an abuse.

On top of it all, the provision, and the entire Health Care Reform Bill for that mater, may in fact be unconstitutional. Judge Andrew Napolitano of FOX News discusses the action on FOX Business Network's Happy Hour with Tracey Byrnes, Eric Bolling and Cody Willard. Take a listen:

So we have the Ready Reserve Corps, a domestic army formed to operate at the discretion of the President to be used for domestic purposes accountable only to the President. For what reason? Who is the enemy of the armed Reserve Corps? I sure hope it is not me and my fellow Tea Party Patriots!

CNBC Favoring Obama?

I closely follow the goings on on the corner of Wall and Broad in Manhattan, and as such, have a monitor on CNBC throughout the day. I think they do a very good job, from watching the markets to the production of a tremendous slate of documentaries and for the most part, have an excellent group of anchors and reporters.

Unfortunately, the evidence is mounting that CNBC, with Obama corporate partner General Electric as their parent company, has taken a hard left in the presentation of their programming, and this is not good.

A race for Governor of New Jersey produces a case in point. Larry Kudlow, who is fabulous, presents commentary on information the race is over based on polling on Monday nights Kudlow Report.

Over on FOX & Friends this morning, the lovely Gretchen Carlson has an interview with Republican candidate Chris Christie and presents polling which show Christie with a slight lead.

Who is right? Rasmussen polling, the recognized leader in polling, has Christie slightly up, so go figure! So, is CNBC reporting way off or is there a bias in presenting Dave Corzine, the Democrat and Obama backer, ahead? Seems obvious to me.

Want more? Recently, on CNBC's Fast Money, commentary about the policies of Obama was squelched. Charles Gasparino, a stout reporter who is quite aware of his skills, was nudged (did you get the Cass Sunstein pun) by host Melissa Lee to button up when speaking of Obama. Take a listen:

If CNBC thinks traders are not cognizant of the anti-capitalistic policies of Obama and how they will effect the earnings, and composition for that matter, of traded companies going forward, they are completely misinformed. Furthermore, to muzzle a correspondent making this commentary, points to an internal bias.

Increasingly lengthy face time for anti-capitalist far left progressive power brokers like Howard Dean and John Podesta is one thing, but efforts to curtail those attacking the policies of Obama, particularly on the home court of CNBC where economics and finance rule the day, will push FOX Business Network straight to the top!

Truth Evasive for MSNBC

President Obama and his staff have taken the extremely juvenile route of attacking FOX News, and as usual, if the actions were not so serious, the would be pure comedy. Obama and his operatives stated they consider FOX News to be an arm of the Republican party and not a conveyor of actual news, like the recent ACORN scandal. Anyone with a brain recognizes this as laughably false.

On his side of the ball, there actually are arms of the left masquerading as news organizations, most notably NBC News and their sister network MSNBC. You know MSNBC, home of sportscaster turned conveyor of hate Keith Olbermann and "I get a tingle down my leg" when observing Obama Chris Matthews. There are many others to name, such as Andrea Mitchell, who does not think left wing mega donor George Soros is even left wing and NBC News White House correspondent John Harwood, who marveled at Obama swatting a fly recently.

NBC is also owned by General Electric, and the CEO Jeffery Immelt holds a position on Obama's economic team, so you can bet there is fair treatment of the Obama policies by the NBC news organization.

MSNBC is the one who really distorts the truth. In fact, a recent example was when they were peddling racism among tea party participants when they disclosed a tea party attendee brought a licensed semi automatic gun with him, failing to present the public that the individual was black.

So widespread are the lies over there, they cannot even keep track of who they are speaking about or directly to, as evidenced by anchor Contessa Brewer. Get a load of this:

Obama is against FOX News, most notably Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, because they are not only towing the rope for the Obama Administration but alerting the public to the thugocracy exhibited by and behind the scenes transformation taking place in rapid fashion.

Thank You FOX, for without you, in addition to presenting a fair and balanced accounting of the news, who would be sounding the alarm?

Media Clueless or Complicit?

If you get your news from the local stations, the big three networks, the newspaper of failing to record or General EcKletics PMSNBC, you have no clue about the pulse of our country. Please see the following story recently presented on FOX News for an example:

This would be quite a hoot if it were not so serious. Has the media become nothing but propaganda or is it even worse. Unfortunately, I am increasingly concluding that several media outlets are in fact promoting their agendas rather than simply forwarding an accurate description of who, what, where and when. Why may be a matter of opinion, and that can be discussed at the proper time.

When Obama spoke at his inaugural, there were several million stellar citizens who came to witness the speech. See this diagram presented stellar blog GATEWAY PUNDIT about the crowd size and the the march on 9-12 happened a few weeks back, some 40,000 uptight racists converged on DC to spout hate.

I remember a caller to the Glenn Beck radio program a few years back spoke of being at a Neil Boortz Fair Tax rally in Atlanta, where it was estimated about ten thousand attended. He came home and turned on CNN and found himself shown in video attending a anti-war rally, which was indeed taking place adjacent to the fair tax rally but only drawing about 1/20th of the crowd. The gentlemen was incensed that he was identified at being at the wrong rally. Media distortion or an error? No error, I can assure you. Beck further commented that the historical record may be in danger of being deliberately distorted by media powers. I fear Beck is yet again, correct.

Don't be led down a road of untruths. Seek out the truth and be informed. We can disagree about policy items until the cows come home, but lets not let the facts become erased from the record. We owe our children to preserve history, good and bad.

Media Thugery

If you were unaware that the media was completely in the tank for the Obama administration, after witnessing the following interview, you will know.

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell, a deep economic thinker to be sure, has a segment with Euro Pacific Capital's Peter Schiff, who is among the few that predicted the economic troubles we now find ourselves in. Take a listen:

HT/HOT AIR BLOG

The level of arrogance exhibited by O'Donnell is pathetic. It might be one thing if O'Donnell, a socialist, even dreamed about knowing what he is talking about, but his juvenile behavior is sadly fitting the current antics of the NBC News division, which is owned by General Electric. GE CEO Jeffery Immelt is on Barack Obama's economic council, and GE is set to benefit greatly from the Cap & Trade bill provisions.

For those of you who voted for change, this is likely not the type of change you thought you were getting. But for some, you may have a chance to make some changes. Schiff is entertaining a run for the Senate seat currently held by Chris Dodd, a complete disaster as a public official.

I am much in favor of that type of change!

Media Malfeasance Jumps Shark

Most of the major newspapers are dying, not only from diminishing market share due to the internet, but because of the lack of journalistic integrity of the reporting. Objective reporting on the three major networks is regrettably a mere historical footnote. If not previously visible, the 2008 election was confirmation. Without question, the media is completely in the tank for Barack Obama, and spearheading the group is NBC News.

From the seemingly personal love affair with the Commander in Peacock Barack Obama by chief Washington correspondent John Harwood to the sense of royalty conveyed by NBC Nightly News host Brian Williams, the days of stellar journalism by the once proud peacock are dead.

Alarmingly, the brass at the very top seem to be directing this behavior, with parent company General Electric (GE:NYSE) CEO Jeffery Immelt, whose company stands to financially benefit from emerging green technologies Obama is employing. Perhaps that is what led Immelt to be asked to be on Obama's economic leadership panel. Certainly, it could not have been the stock price, which has crashed.

In a mind boggling move, ABC News is not to be outdone. ABC announced today that they will broadcast World News Tonight from the White House a week from Wednesday and then turn over programming for a special primetime event, "Prescription for America" to highlight the administrations health care agenda. This "town hall" meeting will be anything but, as dissenting voices will not be welcome. So much for Obama's appreciation for "robust debate".

This is beyond disturbing and our founding fathers would be appalled. Without GOP participation, which was denied, certainly the Democratic National Committee will be footing the bill. As a shareholder of The Walt Disney Corporation (DIS:NYSE), owners of The American Broadcasting Company, I will demand it by firing off a condemnation letter tomorrow. Could you imagine they will care?

The senior citizen crowd that grew up with Walter Cronkite and David Brinkley trust these folks still today, citing it as unfathomable they could be such unethical presenters of the world affairs. The younger voting block is right in tune with the rock star, so two thirds of the electorate is scammed by the media, creating a tough situation to overcome. Will the truth eventually win out? Will we still be a capitalistic society when it happens?

Don McLean sung about the day the music died in his wonderful song American Pie. Today, officially, network television objective journalism, previously on life support, died.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama took shots at Fox News and CBS News found it necessary to torpedo former President George W. Bush. Again. Good Grief!

Green Ideology Taxes Prosperity

The events of the last year or so have been an unparalleled attack on prosperity, and much of the basis for this has been due to an incredible scam otherwise known as Global Climate Change, which essentially blames the industrial revolution for all the perceived problems.

CNBC's Larry Kudlow, a BAHL's Blog favorite, editorializes on this subject last night on his excellent program, The Kudlow Report. Take a listen:

I agree whole heatedly agree with Kudlow, with one exception.

Although I enjoy much of the programming on CNBC, I do not share Kudlow's respect for General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt. There is evidence suggesting General Electric does business with Iran (who is the head of the snake in the trouble in the middle east and has been identified as providing support to those trying to kill our troops), oversees the NBC news division, which is out of control in bias favoring left wing ideology and has a practically hidden financial interest in our society moving toward green technology.

I may further comment on a later post on GE and Immelt, but at this point I am simply refraining from purchasing GE appliances for my rental property portfolio. I do not have much of a voice, but I can steer my minor allotment of cash spent in this arena in a different direction. Cash is king!
