Snow on the Plains

After splitting the first two games of a weekend series at Auburn, a young Florida State baseball team was set Sunday to capture the series on the diamond. Unfortunately, the game was snowed out. Yeah, no misprint here, to much snow to play the game. That's right, in Auburn, Alabama. See below:

You may be surprised to learn that in his some 30 years of as the manager of the 'Noles, this is the first game manager Mike Martin can recall being called for snow, particularly in the deep south confines of the Southeastern or Atlantic Coast Conferences.

Popular blog Gateway Pundit details a scheduled civil disobedience global warming protest scheduled for Washington, D.C. this morning. Oh boy! I recommend stopping by The Home Depot (HD:NYSE) and grabbing a few generators and a dozen or so space heaters as it could get ugly out there.

In the scam of the stimulus, we are set to spend billions on this junk science otherwise known as global warming while we continue to get bombarded with evidence that global warming is speculative at best. Someone with some intelligence needs join John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, to get in the way of this scam, which is rivaling the most serious in history.

Since this blog began in January 2008, we have documented amazing items like Sprint Cup practice cancelled at Atlanta Motor Speedway last year due to snow showers (the boys are heading back to AMS this weekend), snow covering Tiger Stadium, home of the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, LA and record low temperatures here in Orlando, including an effort at one this morning.

Enough already!

UPDATE 3/3/2009

Regarding the billion dollar expenditures coming our way mentioned above, take a listen to an interview Glenn Beck has with economist and actor Ben Stein:
