Seminoles Snaer ACC Tournament Title

Florida State endured a furious rally By North Carolina to win the 2012 ACC Tournament in Atlanta, the Seminoles first ever ACC Championship.

Michael Snaer, tournament MVP, led the way, but this was a team effort, a merger of pinpoint 3 point shooting, timely offensive bursts and a healthy dose of top notch defense.

This was no fluke. After disposing of state rival Miami, the Seminoles took out the storied programs of Duke and North Carolina. FSU had beaten both previously in the season, and ended the Blue Devils 45 game home winning streak.

Seminole Nation is very proud of Coach Leonard Hamilton and the Seminoles for this significant accomplishment, no doubt a defining moment for our basketball program.

Off to the NCAA tournament, the Seminoles, behind their smothering defense and improving offensive field goal percentage, are poised for a deep run.

Not bad at all for a football school.
