Park Net Neutrality

In the aftermath of the wave election last Tuesday, in which the Obama policies, each and every one of them, were soundly rejected, we enter a very dangerous time over the next two years as Obama finishes out his term, and possibly America as we know it.

However, the period prior to the GOP taking over the Senate in January is of particular concern as Obama will aim to get through all his progressive policies while he can, either through legislation, appointment or executive action.

President Obama will not waste any time, as evidenced by his endorsement of legislation of the Internet, often referred to as Net Neutrality.  Obama said "an open Internet is essential to the American economy, and increasingly to our very way of life."

USA Today reports In a written statement, Obama asked the Federal Communications Commission to "create a new set of rules protecting net neutrality," and to ensure that phone and cable companies will not be able "to act as a gatekeeper, restricting what you can do or see online."

The Internet is now perhaps the most significant avenue for freedom of speech the world has ever seen, and free from intervention of those who carry an agenda.

Obama wants to make the Internet a sort of utility, that is government regulated and taxed, similar to your phone or power service.  I am a big fan of those taxes on my phone, aren't you?

But as with the left, the issue is never the issue.

And the issue behind Net Neutrality is to control speech it deems unworthy, or those of political opponents. If you think that cannot happen, please get to know Obama's Diversity Czar, who has some thoughts on communication and democracy in America.  Here are some highlights from one or our previous posts:

Mark Lloyd

We need to take a moment to learn more about an early appointee by President Obama, Diversity Czar, Mark Lloyd.  Investors Business Daily, in an editorial in August of 2009, accurately depicted Lloyd as a disciple of Saul Alinsky and a great admirer of Hugo Chavez, who silenced freedom of speech as a dictator in Venezuela.  SOS Venezuela!

IBD references Glenn Beck, who points out Lloyd, in his 2006 book, "Prologue to a Farce: Communication and Democracy in America," wrote: "It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. ... This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. ... At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies."

Alarmed yet? With Lloyd unleashed to implement his ideas, we would have the Fairness Doctrine on steroids.

David Horowitz, over at his Discover the Networks website, noted the following regarding Lloyd:
 

*Seeks to use "diversity" and "localism" as pretexts for shifting the political balance of talk-radio programming leftward.
*Suggests that private broadcasters should pay an annual licensing fee in an amount equivalent to their total yearly operating costs; that money, in turn, should be redistributed to public broadcasting stations.
*Opposes virtually any private ownership of media.
*Disciple of Saul Alinsky's tactics for revolutionary social change.
*Greatly admires Venezuela's Marxist President, Hugo Chavez.

So, we can conclude that, with respect to media operations, Lloyd much prefers governmental control of media outlets, vehemently opposing media outlets operating in the private sector. And much like his mentor Hugo Chavez, Lloyd thinks the government should determine what can be voiced or written on the said media outlets.

Lloyd is no longer with the Obama administration, but his influence, associations and philosophical doctrines remain, poised for implementation.  As Sen. Ted Cruz (R:TX) appropriately notes, Net Neutrality is "Obamacare for the Internet".

As The Blaze and many other outlets reported today, the Obama administration hid from the stupid public the real aspects of Obamacare to get it passed, and they are doing the same thing with Net Neutrality.

It is time for the stupid public to get smart; quickly.  Be advised that if Net Neutrality is implemented, you will not only potentially lose your voice and the opportunity to hear other voices, but a large amount of your freedom of speech, something once upon a time we fought to the death to preserve.

We All Want To See The Plan

When conservatives are in power, government strives to cultivate free markets and empower the individual with limited taxation and regulation.  In the spirit of Adam Smith, a moral compass is a requirement for optimal market efficiency, with those who violate common decency guidelines quickly defeated in the open market.

With progressives in positions of power, due to perceived lack of confidence in the individual, government seeks, in the name of seemingly good ideas and worthwhile initiatives, to diminish individual power and freedom by increasing the role of government in the marketplace.

An illustrative example may be identified on this day while many celebrated Earth Day.  Seemingly worthwhile and innocent regulatory actions for the perceived good of the environment actually place increasing limitations individual property rights and escalate numerous forms of costs for property owners.

Another example is an extremely nefarious piece of legislation, seemingly vague and harmless in its cloaking presentation, which if passed, will challenge our Constitutional rights by an endless erosion of the rights of free speech.

The piece of legislation, “The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014″ (S.2219), is sponsored, in their arrogance, by Democrats Ed Markey of Massachusetts in the Senate and Hakeem Jeffries of New York in the House of Representatives.  The bill seeks:

"To require the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to update a report on the role of telecommunications, including the Internet, in the commission of hate crimes".

Let us look at the opening sentence of the bill we outlined above. Who is the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and what would be considered their mission statement?  Why not, let us check Wikipedia.

In review of the stated goals of the agency, while much of it seems unnecessary, it follows a logical process for our government during these times with respect to utilization and growth of global communications. Investigatory actions with respect to any form of criminology was not identified within the agency tasks and they appear to have no such legal authority.

So, exactly why are we attempting to travel down this road? Are these two legislators seeking additional power for their personal resumes or are they sponsoring legislation as a front tentacle for a web of enacting widespread governmental control over what is exactly able to be communicated over the Internet?  The distinctions are critically important.

Tying their bill to this week's alleged white supremacist shootings in Kansas, Markey says it is "critical to ensure the internet, television and radio are not encouraging hate crimes or hate speech." He brushes aside expected First Amendment arguments, saying "criminal and hateful activity" aren't covered by the Constitution. HT/Inside Radio.

At quick glance, the bill seems to have merit. After all, who does not want individuals who engage in the commission of hate crimes to be punished to the fullest extent of the law?

However, if law, it would allow a non-elected bureaucrat to cast a wide net in search of such violators, trampling over the first amendment rights of the citizenry in a typical progressive power grab. However, with progressives, as we have learned all too well, the issue is never the issue, and this legislation is no different.

Those who recognize what is actually at play here are appalled by the legislation, including political pundits from opposing sides, ranging from Alan Colmes to Glenn Beck.

The legislation is a back door attack on freedom of speech and an attempt to eliminate the power of the first amendment so that political opponents can be silenced.  The administration is working this angle from many fronts, most notably through the IRS, one of many current scandals engulfing the administration.

Would Lloyd, and those charged with implementation of the Markey-Jeffries bill, apply equal governance over The Huffinton Post as they would The Drudge Report?  As John Lennon of The Beatles wrote in Revolution, "well, you know, we'd all love to see the plan".  TRUST NO ONE!

The shooting Senator Markey referred to in Kansas City was undertaken by a deranged individual, who was white supremacist.  His antics had nothing to do with what radio station he listened to, or which political figure he admired.  He was not a man of principle and character, but an individaul who violated the law and must be judged by a jury of his peers.  God will be the ultimate judge.

Senator Markey utilizing this crime as a motive for him crafting the bill is a smokescreen.  While the bill itself seeks to contain the first amendment, tying the Kansas City shooting to it places cards on the table in the effort to increase gun control, an attack on the second amendment.

These progressive elites think their thought processes, enacted in governance, are superior to those of our founding fathers.  Imagine, for a moment, the arrogance.

Those seeking to curtail freedom of speech, as has been the case throughout history, are opponents of liberty.  In most cases, these efforts were masked under some presentation of the action having been implemented for some greater good.  Historically, it has worked oh so well.

Senator Markey and Representative Jeffries, likely under direction of others, moved forward with the bill as one of many avenues to attack the first amendment.  I will let you decide if you think they fail to see the "real plan" or are among the players who are actively seeking limitations of your freedoms outlined in the Constitution.

Making Trouble

Our country is in peril on multiple fronts, much of it by design, and Justice Jeanine Pirro has yet another timely and spot on essay as her opening statement on her weekend program on FOX News Channel.

The power brokers in Washington DC, most certainly inclusive of our President, are not held accountable and increasingly operate outside of the rule of law, ushering in and governing under political correctness and limiting the status of history and faith in our culture.

Sadly, the majority of the country seems to be the preoccupied trivial culture Aldous Huxley warned we would become, and while we are distracted, our system of laws and governance are being broken apart set to fall into a reconstructed system in contrast to what our founders outlined.

We had better get dialed in quickly.

As David Horowitz noted in his "Barack Obama's Rules For Revolution: The Alinsky Model", change is brought about through relentless agitation and “trouble making” of a kind that radically disrupts society as it is.  Horowitz is correct in stating Obama does not want unity. He wants division.

As demonstrated by the events of the government shutdown, it is Obama and the government that has been inflicting pain on the citizenry, through economic and social policies.  It is dividing our nation, on purpose, and crashing the system Cloward and Piven style.



There is no doubt while the federal government employs the fundamental transformation of America, as Glenn Beck has accurately noted, it has moved from nudge to shove, poking the eye of the citizenry, creating chaos and establishing a backdrop for the government to be sought after by the public to make it stop when the lawlessness and chaos becomes too much to bear.

If you were wondering why the Feds are purchasing all those guns and ammo, obtaining those military style vehicles and establishing a civilian army, we are only an "event" from the government becoming strongly top down to control what they deem a dangerous climate.

Behind The Mask

Obviously, the chaos in Egypt is most troubling. Certainly, no society should ruled by the likes of strongman Hosni Mubarak. But is this a grass roots uprising for peace and prosperity?

It is not, and unfortunately, I am having difficulty finding the white hat in all this. Mohamed ElBaradei, the former UN weapons inspector who failed to see any wrong doing by Iran and drove into Cairo in his Volvo late last week, is an odds on favorite to take a leadership role. The media just loves him, but as Investors Business Daily accurately points out, ElBaraei would be a disaster.

ElBaraei is a fan of the Muslim Brotherhood and by extension HAMAS, as is seemingly anyone who steps in front of a microphone to discuss the issue save Glenn Beck. Everyone involved, including reporters at CNN, think the days of the Muslim Brotherhood acting up are in the past. They are not.

In the coming days I will be expanding thoughts on this crisis, however everything you need to know about the Muslim Brotherhood and those tentacle organizations associated with it, including but not limited to the Muslim Student Association, can be seen in the following exchange between an MSA member and David Horowitz.



Israel and freedom world wide is at extreme risk. Don't look for the media to expose any of the players, as they are complicit in it. Therefore, it will soon be time to reveal the masks, and I wonder who we will find around the shores of the Potomac.

Such Joy In Crackerbox Palace

These days, every day is a real head scratcher. A whip around the news of the day leaves you wondering when you passed through the worm hole. As astonishing as it is, you cannot wake up from it, for it is real. Welcome to Crackerbox Palace!

There are hundreds, but here are three cases in point.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Giethner, who failed to pay his taxes unlike the rest of us, wrote a recent editorial in The New York Times that welcomes us to the recovery. Is he just this stupid, or does he think flyover country is stupid or is he just outright lying to our face. There is no recovery going on. President Obama claims under his direction, we are on the right track and the worst is behind us. One would hope with all the stimulus, a recovery could be sparked, but it has not happened with unemployment on the rise and the housing crisis that at best could claim it is gaining stabilization, a double dip recession, or perhaps a continuation of the one we have been in, is coming.

Radical Islamists are attempting to build a mega mosque 600 feet away from Ground Zero, which you would think would be immediately thwarted by sound thinking government officials. Nope. In fact, they are embracing the potential construction citing harmony. I am vehemently against the mosque, and have blogged on the subject not once, but twice. However, this is no doubt the best example of political correctness gone amok I have ever seen. Oh, it gets worse.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, a Kuwait-born Muslim, leads the Cordoba Initiative project. A supporter of Hamas and one who feels the US brought 9-11 upon ourselves, has been given funding by the State Department to go to the middle east to spread goodwill and raise money for the project. On our dime? We are joining the terrorists in financing this mosque? No way! Most media could not care less, but Sean Hannity is not pleased, and neither is Glenn Beck, who goes off in a must see monologue.

Those who do not understand the financial markets should not be falling all over themselves to craft regulatory reform of the financial markets. They are and they did, as the financial reform bill passed. The bill was crafted by Rep. Barney Frank, D:MA, and Senator Christopher Dodd, D:CT, both of whom are lucky not to be in the federal lockup.

Central to the housing crisis is the mismanagement of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, government sponsored entities who play monopoly in the mortgage markets. Frank, chairman of the committee that oversees this bunch, joined Andrew Cuomo, The Architect of Ruin, in failing miserably to adequately manage these GSE's. The amount of wealth destroyed by this mismanagement is historic. So, Frank is an idiot at best. Dodd, who dances around ethical behavior, got a sweetheart loan from Countrywide, now a part of Bank America (BA:NYSE) and the first major mortgage company to bite the dust. The arrogance of these men is astounding, but that our Congress would allow these two clowns to craft the unnecessary regulatory reform bill (FINREG) is mind boggling. No doubt Jethro Bodine was unavailable.

When we elect these idiots like this, we get what we deserve. And what did we get with FINREG? Fannie and Freddie, bleeding cash as if they are swimming in a piranha tank, were not included in the bill. So the centerpiece of the fraud, that Dodd participated in, Fannie and Freddie, fail to make the list of things to reform? Oh my!

The mind boggling decisions we witness that are made almost daily, by each branch of government, cannot be the result of incompetence. The destruction of our country, and our Constitution, is unfortunately deliberate. It is time to pull your head of out the sand and draw a firm line in it.

Hillary Lurking in Shadows

It is quite apparent that the presidency of Barack Obama, for reasons that are much to lengthy to list, is an epic failure and his poll numbers are in free fall. Mr. Obama shows absolutely no sign of reversing course as he truly believes in the social justice and redistribution of wealth paths he is taking America down. With every passing day, suspicion grows that Obama recognizes he will be a one term Office holder and will make every effort to ram his policies into law before he gets thrown out of office.

While this may sound great to most Americans, and it is, it appears America will be given an unexpected choice to perhaps guide the future of our nation. I fear many Americans will tend to be comfortable with this potential candidate, with many thinking this is who they wanted in the first place. That person is Hillary Clinton, and the narrative is already being placed out for public consumption. Remember how America supposedly thinks Hillary is most qualified to be President?

I am going to illustrate to you that should she be elected, most of the policies Obama championed will be continued or enacted and America as you once knew it will be gone forever.

Of note, although they both admire and subscribe to the teachings of Saul Alinsky, there are political differences between Obama and Clinton. Obama subscribes to the black liberation theology, where governmental control through mechanisms like heath care initiates wealth redistribution not only as a vehicle toward socialism but to act as a form of reparations, having the oppressors give back what they supposedly stole. Hillary is simply behind wealth distribution as a tenant of socialism, control and global governance.

First, it must be emphasized that Hillary Clinton is a Progressive, and you may recall her adamantly stating that in on of the 2008 Democratic Debates.



Secondly, evidence suggests she is part of a radical clique under the direction of billionaire hedge fund operator George Soros that seeks to impelment a socialist structure and undermine American power and exceptionalism. This was outlined in a book by David Horowitz and Richard Poe called The Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Sixties Radicals Seized Control of the Democratic Party. Front Page magazine interviewed author Richard Poe, who offered extensive details on the subject.

Although the book was written in 2006, we can see the premise was spot on. The Democratic Party our Parents were part of no longer exists, having been hijacked by the Progressives. Globally, Soros has almost single handily wrecked the currencies of a few countries and has interjected himself and his policies into the political landscape through organizations he funds like MoveOn.org and The Center for American Progress, left wing think tanks and enormous fund raising arms. He is also heavily involved in the cap and trade debate and was recently among the largest, if not the largest, shareholders of Pertrobras, a Brazilian Oil Company the Obama administration has helped fund. Soros is a known socialist, and as Poe details in the interview, in his book The Age of Fallibility, Soros writes, “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States".

According to the book, although Clinton was not directly associated with the Shadow Party group, she is closely tied to Soros and his organizations. For example, John Podesta, chief of staff to Bill Clinton, is the president of The Center for American Progress.

What can we learn from Hillary herself about the direction she would be taking America if she were in charge. We can look no further than her speech at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Kyiv on June 2, 2010:

It’s important, too, that we look at how to promote broadly-based prosperity. One of the problems in societies around the world today is that too much of the productivity of the economies are going to too few. Too few people, the political and economic elite, are realizing the vast majority of benefits from economic activity. It’s true in my own country where, unfortunately, economic inequality is increasing. And it’s true in Ukraine. It’s true in Europe and Asia and Africa and South America. So part of the challenge of economic growth and prosperity is to make sure it gets down and equally spread among people. And we have to work towards spurring investment and long-term growth in Ukraine. And we have to work together to end corruption in both the public and the private sectors.

Certainly, that statement about the redistribution of wealth speaks volumes and gives strong indication Clinton subscribes to the current redistributive policies Obama is enacting.

Obviously, there was a large contingent of support for Hillary Clinton in 2088. Given the epic failure of President Obama, smelling blood and running out of years, I think there is a strong possibility Hillary challenges Obama.

Given the abysmal behavior of our news media, there is likely to be an overwhelming group of moderate, independent voters who may think Hillary is who represents them and allows for them to right the wrong of electing Obama, win one for the women and support the candidate many of them think they wanted in the first place.

If this should occur, these voters will be burned again as the policies implemented by President Obama will be expanded upon as the socialistic movement of the Progressives will cement their spot in the American fabric and life as our parents Democrats, and us, once knew may be gone forever.

Obama Approach on Terror Terrifying

Certainly, you saw the incredibly unsettling video of Attorney General Eric Holder responding to an inquiry as to whether radical Islam may be responsible for recent terror activity.



Holder is either incompetent or is displaying an extremely troubling position the Obama administration holds with respect to Isalmic terrorism. Holder has had several missteps along the way, including labeling Americans cowards and pontificating on the Arizona immigration law without having read it.

In a sane world, Holder would have never been picked for the AG position. Certainly, even Daffy Duck recognizes Holder should be terminated, and Investors Business Daily has editorialized about it Holder's Got To Go - Investors.com'>.

The position the administration has taken on the Global War on Terror is so idiotic there must be more to it than incompetence. Glenn Beck has some ideas (a second portion of his video is about Crime, Inc., an extremely troubling money laundering scheme about global climate change you must get your arms around).



Who are these people? With all the apologies they have issued and their insane approach to radical extremists who wish us harm, I wonder whose side this bunch is on. The approach on terror (or overseas contingency operation) by this administration is alarming and defensive in nature, which will get us hit. I know most Americans do not agree with the overreaching and puzzling positions the Obama administration has implemented since engaging in the transformation of America.

It is imperative for us in the know to inform those who can't yet see the damage taking place. Please do your part in waking up these folks, and time is really of the essence.
