Forging your own path as the daughter of someone very famous can present difficulties, but for Amanda Sudano Ramirez, it has been a wonderful ride.  Amanda is the daughter of the Queen of Disco, the beautiful Donna Summer, and her husband Bruce Sudano.  Amanda, along with her two sisters, have each made successful lives for themselves, and the sky seems the limit for the striking Amanda.

Amanda, with model looks and a simply mesmerizing voice, seemed destined to follow the footsteps of her ever so talented mother, and has.  Along the way, Amanda attended Vanderbilt University.

Amanda, along with her husband Abner Ramirez, make the musical duo of Johnnnyswim, who are really making quite a name for themselves.  Amanda and Abner as Johnnyswim consistently plays music festivals, have made appearances on David Letterman, Live with Kelli & Michael and The Tonight Show and continue to play before sellout venues across America.

In addition to her outstanding musical career, Amanda has appeared in national commercials, most notably for Target, and has been a model with the Bella Agency, having done modeling campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Vogue.

Recently, Amanda had the honor of participating with The Doobie Brothers on their new soundtrack "Soutbound", where artists guest in recreating the old Doobie's classics.  Michael McDonald specifically requested Amanda to join him in performing the stellar hit "You Belong To Me".

The talented and beautiful Amanda Sudano Ramirez is welcomed as the latest BAHL's Babe.

BAHL's Babes: Michelle Fields

While character, education, perseverance are among the qualities for a successful career, beyond the qualifications and competencies, sometimes you have to keep surfing the waves waiting for your perfect opportunity.  For Michelle Fields, a 2011 graduate of the Waves of Pepperdine University, the opportunity was seized upon when presented.

Fields gained valuable experience at Pepperdine, serving as president of the university chapter of Students For Liberty, while earning a degree in political science.

The wave Fields, representing ReasonTV, caught came in the form of a testy interview with actor Matt Damon over reform of teacher tenure.  Damon was intellectually outclassed by Fields, and many appropriately took notice.

Over at The Daily Caller, Editor in Chief Tucker Carlson, whom Rush Limbaugh affectionately refers to as Chatsworth Osborne, Jr., the invitation to join the staff was presented to Fields. Utilizing the combination of her intelligence and playful but skillful demeanor, she has excelled, gaining an escalating legions of admiring fans.

Fields has moved on from The Daily Caller. Currently, this emerging star is a frequent contributor on FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network and is a correspondent and host over at Next Generation TV, an online community for millennials and division of PJ Media.

It has always been my contention, that what separates a beautiful women from the others is the combination of beauty, brains and charming wit, which can be found in spades behind the intoxicating smile of Michelle Fields.

BAHL's Blog is proud to announce the lovely Michelle Fields as the latest addition to BAHL's Babes.

BAHL's Babes: Kristian Alfonso

Although almost a dozen BAHL's Babes have been presented, at or near the top of the list for decades has been Kristian Alfonso. Alfonso, who is best know for her portrayal of Hope Williams Brady on NBC's Days of Our Lives, is simply stunning and has always been anchored near the top spot on the list of BAHL's Babes.

Alfonso started on Days as a teenager, and has stayed with role for almost 30 years. Early on, Kristian was accomplished figure skater, winning a gold medal at the Junior Olympics, in her early years, but got the acting bug and began her career on Days in 1981. Soap Opera Digest has on three occasions named her one of the most beautiful women on television, and I would concur with that.

I had occasion to meet Kristian, along with her Days co-star Peter Reckell (Bo Brady), at a mall opening in 2002 and she was as friendly and gorgeous as advertised.

Outside of television, Kristian employed her entrepreneurial spirit and founded a jewelry company called Hope, Faith and Miracles, which offers a complete line of jewelry and accessories. Many of the pieces offered are many of the pieces Kristian wears on Days of our Lives, and that is great advertising as many of her customers are Days fans. The line has been met with great success with a wide assortment of neat and unique items.

Ever since I was a teenager, I have admired the beauty and talent of Kristian Alfonso and the BAHL's Babe list could not be complete without her. Although I don't get a chance to follow DOOL much anymore, I do try to catch her from time to time, which I did recently as she was featured on a float for the 2011 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

She has without question always been my favorite.

BAHL's Babes: Kimberly Guilfoyle

FOX News is well known for the beautiful women they have on staff over there, and at or near the top of the list is the latest BAHL's Babe, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Kimberly can usually be found doing stories for or guest hosting Geraldo at Large, where she has her own segment called Kimberly's Cases, and on discussion groups on Hannity and The O'Reilly Factor. If I were the executives over there, I would be looking to increase her visibility.

Guilfoyle, who graduated from the University of California Davis magna cum laude, is a former Victoria's Secret model. She worked as an attorney and prior to joining the ranks of television attorneys, she served as an Assistant District Attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.

Although at one time she was married to a huge lefty in San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome, in the discussions she participates in on FOX she does come across as right leaning and even displays a sarcastic attitude to go along with her intoxicating smile.

When combining Kimberly's high level of intelligence with her striking beauty, you have a rising star at FOX news and the newest BAHL's Babe.

BAHL's Babes: Finola Hughes

Although, after starring in the London-based original company of Cats, most of America became aware of the talents and beauty of Finola Hughes in Staying Alive with John Travolta, I came to appreciate Finola in her role as the beautiful and mysterious Anna Devane Scorpio on ABC's General Hospital.

Until just recently, Hughes hosted "How Do I Look" on The Style Network. An accomplished dancer, Hughes talents as an actress have been showcased on the big screen in film such as Aspen Extreme in addition to Staying Alive and on television programs such as Jack's Place, Blossom and Charmed among others. She is a Daytime Emmy award recipient for her portrayal of Anna Devane on All My Children and General Hospital. On the heels of her role on How Do I Look, Finola has been labeled the celebrity style expert.

BAHL's Babes: Farrah Fawcett

Even though we knew it was coming, it drew a tear to the eye to learn of the death of Farrah Fawcett, the original BAHL's Babe, from cancer. Like seemingly every other little kid, the poster of all posters hung on the wall in my bedroom and Charlies Angels was must see television.

Farrah, from Corpus Christi, TX, was also an athlete, often spending time on the tennis courts.

I was pleased to learn that the other Angels, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson, had been visiting and helping Farrah through her trying time. Both had spent time over the past year with her and I think that says quite a bit in itself. Certainly, along with Nebraska native David Doyle as Bosley, Charlie's Angels was an enjoyable show back in the day.

I first became aware of Farrah when she was Farrah Fawcett-Majors, as I was a big fan of Lee Majors in both The Big Valley and The Six Million Dollar Man, where Farrah has a small part in few episodes. Although she had been well known for her work on the commercial side, it was Charlie's Angels that made her a star, and with her head of hair which spawned copy cat styles across America, she will always be one of America's top sex symbols.

During her fight with cancer she displayed courage and strength and with her faith she traveled her final journey with class and dignity. God Bless You Farrah!

"She was an angel on Earth and now an angel forever." - Lee Majors

You're Hired, Again!

With the world seemingly on edge, Donald Trump announced today that Miss California, Carrie Prejean, would keep her crown.

Since answering a question from the heart about gay marriage from a gay marriage activist nut case with a personal agenda, Prejean has been viciously attacked, beginning with a tirade from the activist judge on his website and astonishingly continuing from numerous sources across the globe.

Semi-nude pictures were published, but beyond the publishing of these pictures, the publishers went out their way to lambaste Prejean. First up to bat was The Dirty.com, followed by TMZ.com. "Bible Thumper", "Sinner" and "homophobic debutante" were among the verbal jabs.

Well, I hate to break to it these publishers and all the other proclaimers of hate against folks engaging their freedom of speech. This is America, and some of us do not support your cause, feel free to speak against you and will continue to do so while you firebomb us with your hate. Meanwhile, your antics are winning the hearts and minds of just about nobody.

Instead of hammering Miss California, maybe you could learn something from her.

H/T GATEWAY PUNDIT BLOG

I think Miss Prejean has quite a future ahead of her. As Trump said, she is quite beautiful and I grow more impressed with her after every public appearance she makes!

BAHL's Babes: Carrie Prejean

Three years ago at The Miss USA pageant, Miss South Carolina fired out a completely illiterate answer to a question and became the center of media attention. A firestorm has happened again this year, but this time it has teeth and will draw a political line in the sand. As one to speak my mind, let me emphatically position myself on the playing field for this debate. In doing so, for the third time in as many weeks, someone completely off the prior radar will become a BAHL's Babe, and that is Miss USA runner up, Miss California, the lovely Carrie Prejean.

Ms. California had the unfortunate opportunity to answer a question concerning gay rights by a low life gay rights activist judge, who interjected his personal biases into the pageant. The answer Ms. Prejean replied with likely cost her the title, but it won admiration from many, including me.

After the pageant, the judge and questioner, a Mr. Perez Hilton, posted his rationale on his website and verbally assaulted Ms. Prejean. Oh, and the folks out in Hollywood are none to pleased with her either, including some of those associated with the pageant.

Mr. Perez is all hot and bothered, I assume, that the liberal folks outs in California recently voted against legalizing gay marriage. He has every right to be, for this is America! I think he should leave his personal political bias at the door if he is asked to judge a contest. Perez indicated in his question his opinion that gay marriage is a "hot" topic for America. It is not, and 70% polled are against it.

Although the answer Ms. Prejean gave showed her nervousness, she was wonderful in the way she discarded political correctness and answered from the heart. I agree with her answer, that marriage is sacred and between a man and a woman, as taught in Christianity. I also share her opinion that those who are gay and wish to form a civil union are welcomed to do so, and I wish them all the best. However, it was Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, as they say!

As for Carrie, she is quite stunning and a former San Diego Padre girl as I understand it. In a post pageant interview with FOX Business Cheif Neil Cavuto, Prejean also indicates she is anti bailout and not a fan of welfare. Take a listen:

I am not sure what you may be into, but I will say that given the events of the Miss USA pageant, I am into Miss California, and Carrie Prejean is the newest BAHL's Babe!

BAHL's Babes: Angie Harmon

For the second time in as many weeks, there is an addition to BAHL's Babes that was not originally on the list, and that is the lovely Angie Harmon.

Angie began her career as a model but is most known for her role on NBC's Law & Order. She is married to former USC Trojan and New York Giant Jason Sehorn and has three children.

Angie has been in the news recently for stating accurately that you can be at odds with the policies of President Barack Obama without being a racist. That someone felt compelled to comment on what should be obvious demonstrates where this country is on the Obama love train, including the credibility and ratings plummeting mainstream news media.

Harmon is finding "that if you say anything against him you're called a racist,", and she is annoyed at having to defend herself on this, as she should be. Another item on the list of grievances Harmon has is the double standard presented by the main stream media. "I think one of the greatest things about the Republican Party is the understanding, we don’t point fingers and we have class." Harmon is a open GOP member and was a strong supporter of John McCain in the 2008 election.

So in summary we have a beautiful, talented actress, active member of the GOP, college and NFL football fan, a risk taker by taking on Obama from Hollywood and a fan of NASCAR. No doubt, that rises above the qualifications and Angie Harmon is a BAHL's Babe.

The following video shows Angie dropping the green flag and cutting the good ole boys loose at the AutoClub 500 at California Motor Speedway this past February. Stand On It indeed!

BAHL's Babes: Kylie Minogue

On The O'Reilly Factor Pinhead and Patriots segment, Bill O'Reilly labeled Australian singer Kylie Minogue a patriot for her charitable work with The Wiggles, a kids group, in an effort to help raise money for children.

I had the occasion to meet Kylie as she was a scheduled performer on Good Morning America when I was there one morning. She was friendly, humorous and quite tiny, not to mention stunning. The performance of her top single "Come Into My World" was also outstanding. See the photo and youtube of performance below:

Kylie is an award winning singer and actress, and a breast Cancer survivor. She has written a book for kids and has her own perfume line. I did not have her on the original list of BAHL's Babes, but if you find time to help out kids, are a Cancer survivor and are hot, that works for me.

BAHL's Babes: Krista Allen

A former Miss Texas and University of Texas graduate, it was in the Emmanuelle series where we were first treated to the amazing beauty of Krista Allen.

The big break for Allen, and where I first became of aware of her, was here performance as Billie Reed on NBC's Days of Our Lives. Since then, she has been spotted in various television shows including The X-Files, Smallville, CSI, Friends and had a two year stint on Baywatch.

Allen has appeared in Stuff and Maxim Magazines and was named among Maxim's Hot 100 of 2005.

Krista, a tall drink of water at just over 5' 7'', has appeared in many movies including Anger Management, Totally Blond and a notable elevator scene from Liar Liar.

On the rise to stardom, Krista did do some softcore X stuff during the Emmanuelle movies which is probably the only thing holding her back from being a real big star, who knows? Anyhow, she is the total package combining beauty with brains, and even owns her own clothing company.

It is after the first of the year and many of us need to drop a few and are looking to get in better shape. Good thing for us Krista has a workout video to help us which you may want to check out.

BAHL's Babes: Rena Sofer

This stunning actress is one of those actors where you may not know them by name, but you have seen them many times in various projects. Rena Sofer is one of those individuals.

She first became known for her work on ABC's Loving and later on ABC's General Hospital. She is a Daytime Emmy Award winner, capturing that honor in 1995.

Sofer has since starred in many programs, including Seinfeld, Blind Justice, The Chronicle, Melrose Place and Heroes.

She has been in many movies, but may be best known for her work with Ben Stiller in Keeping The Faith.

Rena Sofer was spotlighted at this particular time because you may have an opportunity to catch her over the Thanksgiving Holiday on ABC's Dirty Sexy Money and perhaps on Fox's 24 as she portrays Marilyn Bauer, (pictured above right).

BAHL's Babes: Vanessa Marcil

Vanessa Marcil busted on the scene portraying the part of Brenda Barrett on ABC's General Hospital and collecting a Daytime Emmy Award along the way.

She has been featured in STUFF and Maxim magazines, being named among Maxim's 100 Hottest Women. Vanessa was also a regular on Beverly Hills 90210 and starred in the motion picture The Rock.

Marcil can be found playing Sam Marquez guarding The Montecito on NBC's Las Vegas.

BAHL's Babes: Alexis Glick

After biding time at CNBC and over at the Today Show on NBC, FOX Business Channel wisely hired Alexis Glick as Vice President of Business News and Anchor of Money For Breakfast aired each weekday on FBC.

Prior to entering the television world, she was an executive director and ran floor operations at the NYSE for Morgan Stanley. She is a graduate of Columbia University, a mother of three sons, a real estate investor owning several properties and a former basketball star at the high school level or so I read. This is most impressive!

Regrettably, she does seem to be onboard the Obama express, and given her level of education and accomplishment, that is puzzling.

Anyhow, I may be listening to Kernen and gang at CNBC in the morning, but I am watching Money For Breakfast with Alexis Glick.

BAHL's Babes: Abigail Spencer

Florida born Abigail Spencer began her career on ABC's All My Children and was most recently the star of the Lifetime Network show Angela's Eyes.
Look for her in the upcoming movie In My Sleep. Below is a scene from Angelas's Eyes, which was pretty good mystery show that did not quite make it.
