Picture Protest

This is what protesting looks like.

However, after two black individuals were killed by police officers in the line of duty, violence has ensued in Charlotte. One killing in Tulsa looks quite troubling for the men in blue, while on the surface the Charlotte incident, with a black officer pulling the trigger, seems appropriate. We will let the facts unfold, and go from there.

"A lot of damage was done in Charlotte as a result. NASCAR’s $160 million Hall of Fame museum suffered heavy damage as well as the Charlotte Hornets team store, the NASCAR News Center, NASCAR Headquarters, and Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority. The Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant was looted and damaged as well along with many others."

These riots (and yes, they are riots and not protests) are getting out of hand and need to be dealt with harshly when it becomes a free pass to destroy property. "Everybody wants to go out and riot. It's become kind of a social occasion, which is totally insane to me" noted Kimberly Guilfoyle of The Five on FOX News Channel.

Those creating havoc in Charlotte are professional agitators who gather up a collection of useful idiots all in an orchestrated effort to divide us.

It is working. Welcome to Obama's America.

Depressing and Deadly

Perhaps you just concluded watching "The Five" on Fox News Channel co-hosted by the lovely Kimberly Guilfoyle, but a depressing and deadly accurate article by Greg Gutfeld now requires your eyeballs.

"How can America defeat ISIS if we have vocal factions believing that we are worse? How can we fight the enemy if a large portion of our population thinks an inanimate object – a gun – caused Orlando?"

Damn good question.

Gutfeld: Orlando’s doom. The most depressing article you will ever share. Share it anyway by Greg Gutfeld

We will do just that!

The immediate consequences from the Orlando terror attack are obvious: dozens dead and maimed – families changed forever.

The next layer of consequences, arriving soon, are not as obvious, but they are coming. Here they are:

We are getting a divorce. First, a poll shows that Americans are pretty much divided on their opinions about the attack. Most of the Democrats see it as a gun control issue. Most Republicans see it as a terror attack. And there seems to be no sign of compromise (why can’t it be mostly “terror” and a little “guns?” asks the therapist, Dr. Gutfeld)

This poll hints at an ongoing, disturbing change in this country – one that brings forth a series of even more problems – those of which I see as almost unsolvable. We quarrel about the quarrel. We cannot agree on the fight. And therefore we cannot begin to fight. Instead, we are like that proverbial snake that devours its own tail. Except, we think it’s sushi. But it’s blowfish. You get the idea. We’re dead.

"How can America defeat ISIS if we have vocal factions believing that we are worse? How can we fight the enemy if a large portion of our population thinks an inanimate object – a gun – caused Orlando?

We assume different identities lead to different values. Does a black person, or a gay person or a fat white male, see a terror attack differently? I wouldn’t think so, but activists, talking heads and assorted thought-processors disagree. Now we no longer look at a tragedy as an American one, but through the divisive eyes of balkanized camps of competing identities.

An activist at the University of Missouri, during a vigil for the victims of Orlando, actually expressed disappointment that she had to speak in front of grievers, who happened by birth, to be white. My only relief comes from the fact that a few people heckled her (a brave gay couple). That relief left when others drowned them out.

The beat-down is dead. We need to train our populace on the basics of group self-defense – meaning how to cooperate and risk their skins to take down the lone aggressor.

If ten people attack a man with a gun, one or two may die – but the alternative is worse. “Be Like 93” should be the motto – in honor of the heroic actions of the passengers of Flight 93, who saved uncountable lives on September 11, 2001 by attacking the hijackers and bringing the jet down in a Pennsylvania field.

But that’s not what I’m really talking about. I mean justifiable aggression: explicitly meting out justice to those who deserve it. How can we do that, when we cannot agree who deserves it?

The New York Times blamed Republicans for Orlando. The Huffington Post blamed Christians. Every liberal blames guns, as well as the complicit wife of the murderous, terrorist dirtbag. And the dirtbag’s dad blames social networks. He’s even suing them.

The more we spread the condemnations around, the less we have for the truly guilty party. Hence our incremental approach to ISIS. President Obama treats the war on “terror” (a polite phrase for Islamism), like we’re playing Jenga. Slowly, and on rainy days.

We lose respect for evidence. Our inability to call a spade a spade is the result of divorcing cause from effect. If we can’t call Islamism out for this horribleness, then what’s left? Blame Guns. Christians. White Zinfindal. It’s as though you blame a massive wild fire not on dry tinder and a lit cigarette, but on poor self-esteem among carbon products.

Here’s science: Islamism preaches the murder of gays; then an Islamist murders a club full of gays. Cause…effect.

Why does the left deny science?

The way the media and our White House deny the effects of Islamism seems eerily similar to a certain industry we grew to loathe over time. Remember how the tobacco companies denied the role of their product in lung cancer? To deny that link, now, would have you laughed off the planet. My prediction: 20 years from now we will feel the same way about Islamism.

“Remember when we had a president who refused to admit the link between atrocity and Islamism” will be the same as “Remember when people used to say cigarettes didn’t cause cancer.”

Refusing to link Islamism to evil is denying the evidence before your objective eyes. You don’t even need to bring up Orlando. Try honor killings. Read up on the Taliban and what they do to girls who want to go to school. Google “Taliban” and “acid.”

President Obama isn’t just on the wrong side of history, he’s on the wrong side of the future. For a guy who claims to be all about science, he lives in a fairy tale.

We have murdered sympathy. A product of modern leftism’s regressive identity politics: we see victimhood as a zero-sum game. If you grieve for the victims of terror, is there any left for Black Lives Matter? If you light a candle for Orlando, why not for Ferguson?

If you aren’t gay, how are you able to sympathize with gay victims of terror?

What if you’re against gay marriage? Are you as evil as terrorists? Perhaps, some might say (or have said).

One anchor at another network actually chided a sympathizing politician, in the state where the terror took place… because she did not support gay rights enough to his satisfaction. I was bummed he’d play bouncer to the “Who gets to grieve” night club. That’s beneath him. Obama was against gay marriage just a handful of years ago, my friend.

Now sympathy is saddled with considerations for approval of other groups and classes. Maybe just keep quiet instead of expressing sympathy, one might conclude.

We have killed debate. To better enhance well-being, one must be able to argue and even allow oneself to be proven wrong. Science is all about that: prove me wrong, please. Now, no one wants to be wrong, even when it’s an abstract debate.

Look, I think the gun control debate is a deflection from the core concern, which is terror. But I’m willing to listen to some common sense, or at least informed opinions on how to prevent terrorists from getting guns. Sadly, the gun control argument is a misleading one: used not to ban guns (we know it ain’t happening), but to drive the debate away from the more volatile issue, which Islamism’s universal plans.

And! – wouldn’t it be nice to talk about gun control with people who actually knew something about guns? Or control? If Orlando had been done not by gun, but by bomb -- where would the left’s argument be? Where it was, after Boston. Nowhere.

We have disabled our impulse control. My motto has always been: your first public thought is often your worst public thought. Meaning: think before unloading.

We now know that this is an impossible wish in this current climate of Twitter, Facebook and Piers Morgan. What happened to reserve? Contemplation? Thoughtfulness? What about waiting a few days before you spout an opinion?

Now every celebrity and their less famous sibling is on Twitter lecturing us on “assault weapons” and “tolerance” as if the world right now really needs a hot take from a sitcom star on his third bout of chlamydia.

The strong and silent type has been replaced with the weak and loud. I’d include myself in this, except that I only speak when spoken to. Otherwise, I sit quietly in a corner and drink copious amounts of wine.

We no longer cooperate. This sad and sober consequence is the result of combining all the results mentioned above together. Without cooperation, society is doomed. Cooperation contributes to better lives, over all. If what’s good for you, is good for them you help them get what you have.

That’s not the case in this era of moral relativism.

The problem is: we no longer believe that what we have is good. How can America defeat ISIS if we have vocal factions believing that we are worse? How can we fight the enemy if a large portion of our population thinks an inanimate object – a gun – caused Orlando? And not this pernicious ideology you can’t even call a death cult, because radical Islam is worse than that? It’s a death movement. A death phenomenon. It’s a force that sees our conscious lives as inferior to what happens after you die. Which is why, for them, killing gays is an act of love. They’re doing those sinners a favor – in their twisted skulls, killing innocents in a night club just gave the murdered a Fast Pass to Nirvana.

Boy, this is a depressing article. And I wrote it.

Read it and weep. For the victims. For the country. For your family. For you and me.

Bravo Greg Gutfeld!

Cruz Control

Sen. Ted Cruz R:TX
On Monday, Senator Ted Cruz, a republican from Texas, announced he will seek the GOP nomination for president in 2016.  Cruz was first of many who are expected to enter the race.

Sadly, as expected, his entrance sparked explosive commentary from the entire spectrum of political discourse.

You will not find a more glaring example of hypocrisy among all the smiling faces of many of your favorite left wing lunatics and politicians (actually one in the same) than their reaction to the entry of Sen. Cruz. Many left wing pundits seemed stunned, which is bull crap as those wagering the field had very high odds on Cruz getting in.

Then came the comparisons to Obama, and these are nothing short of pure comedy.

When Obama ran as a first term Senator, one who voted present most often, he was viewed as fresh, with bold new ideas.  Cruz, who has challenged the broken Washington machine on numerous occasions, has been labeled inexperienced, not ready for the vigor associated with our highest office.  This "inexperience" had no bearing on the left in 2000, as we elected a president with no executive experience of any kind.

Then came questions about the birthplace of Cruz, and if he is eligible to be president.  Cruz was born in Canada and is a natural born citizen and has produced any and all necessary paperwork to close the issue, unlike Obama.  Although it has not been a focus on this blog, Obama has skirted producing paperwork to close up his issue in this arena.  Those on the right who have questioned Obama's birthplace have been ridiculed and deemed racist, but that is not the case for those questioning Cruz.

Due to his entry in the race, Cruz's wife Heidi, took a leave of absence from her position at Goldman Sachs, and with that, Cruz had to seek health insurance.  Therefore, he enrolled in Obamacare, which since Cruz has vowed to repeal every word of Obamacare, seems beyond entertaining to the left.  Sadly, Obamacare is the law of the land, and Cruz is simply following the law.  This, of course, is a foreign concept to Obama and his Obamabots nationwide.

The mainstream media, who watch and cheer while Obama violates the Constitution seemingly on a daily basis, has joined in lockstep with all the talking points, bashing Cruz at every turn on anything and everything.

Why should he left have all the fun?

You just knew those on the progressive right would jump in with the Democrats and hit Cruz.  Karl Rove, who backs Jeb Bush, immediately came forward in an attempt to discredit Cruz.  I could have initiated a countdown waiting for Rep. Peter King of New York to come out swinging.  The former boxer must have had his head hit too much, for he is clueless on Cruz, his record and his chance to win.  King, who sits on numerous committess enabling the decline of America, has also gone after Sen Rand Paul.

I must admit I was surprised to see some folks I respect hit Cruz, inclusive of Greg Gutfeld and Eric Boling of "The Five" and DW Ulsterman.  Gutfeld thinks Cruz lacks vision for country, but has plenty for himself, which I totally disagree with. The position Ulsterman takes, along with Boling, is that, although he thinks very highly of Cruz, he deems him not ready at this time.  Among the hosts on "The Five", Breitbart reports that Kimberly Guilfoyle, perhaps the most beautiful woman on news television, was the most receptive to the candidacy of Cruz.

It is way too early to handicap the field for me, but I would list Tex Cruz at or very near the top of my list. What I do know is that those attempting to discredit Cruz are speaking very loudly about something they do not want you to hear.

Progressive opponents of freedom and liberty; those who aspire for big government and crony capitalism, will ridicule and distort the facts, screaming loudly about opponents they fear the most.  Are you listening?

Enemies Within

If it were not so deadly serious, it would be comical to witness the Obama administration stumbling around calling the Radical Islamic terrorists anything but what they are, murderous thugs who seek to kill every infidel Christian in the world while perverting religion for worldwide conquest.  But as heads continue to be chopped off, it is not those terrorists Obama is hell bent on stopping.  It is his political opponents, as Investors Business Daily's Michael Ramirez so brilliantly pointed out, the GOP and especially those who consider themselves Tea Party members.

Michael Ramirez/IBD

World War II was won in approximately five years, yet we have entered our fifteenth year of fighting these Radical Islamic terrorists.  George W. Bush seemed handicapped in doing so by making effort to appease the slew of moderates, along with the entire left wing, who grew tired of combat after being bombarded with propaganda from the mainstream media. Rules of engagement increased the degree of difficulty for our soldiers in the fight, and after we achieved victory, an election squandered it all.

A war weary electorate voted in President Obama, who proclaimed he would end both of the "ill-advised" wars the US was involved in, slamming Bush at every opportunity. Notice Obama said "end" the wars; he did not utter a word about winning, or victory.  But why?

Obama does not want to defeat these folks; in fact, he is on their team. Obama wrote in his book Audacity of Hope that “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction". Come again?

For those who do not really know who Obama is, this comes off as some sort of taken out of context comment.  But it is far from it.  Throughout his terms in office, Obama has been cold to our longtime allies and has had en empathetic tone engaging in bridge building with our enemies, who hate us now more than ever.

As Dinesh D'Souza so brilliantly pointed out in his move "America", Obama is an anti-Colonialist who has disdain for America, but particularly England ( immediately upon being elected returned bust of Churchill given to the US after 9-11) and France ( did Obama attend the peace rally last month? ) due his perception they mistreated and stole wealth from other countries in the region.  Obama's father held strong beliefs along this line, and "Dreams From My Father" was not just a catchy title.  It was the truth.

Obama is seeking a greater Syria, a re-establishment of the Ottoman Empire, allowing a Muslim territory to gain immense power in the region; a power to rival America. As president, actions undertaken by Obama have made America much weaker on the world stage; a transfer of economic wealth and military power.  In addition, like the majority of the region, Obama holds a deep loathing of Israel, easily evidenced by his actions toward one of our dearest allies.

While most responsible world powers grow increasingly concerned about unstable player Iran, who I consider the head of the snake in the region, obtaining nuclear power,  Obama has not made any effort to thwart the Iranian effort.  To the contrary, without a Congress willing to take him on, he has donated heavily to Iran with taxpayer money we do not have.

Obama chief of staff Valerie Jarrett, an un-elected person with enormous power, has plainly stated her objective, but few if anyone took her seriously. Obama takes her very seriously; so should you.

ISIS is running roughshod, just recently burning a Jordanian prisoner alive.  Their objectives have been clearly stated, and they have unleashed slaughter and terror across the region with little or no tangible evidence Obama has done anything about it.  He angrily refuses to even acknowledge who the enemy really is; which is Radical Islam for our low information readers.

Doing nothing about this historic advance of terror is one thing, but as FOX News Kimberly Guilfoyle so appropriately ponders, "Why is our president resupplying terrorists?"

Certainly, anyone on the side of the red, white and blue would never release top level terrorist prisoners during the fight, but Obama has on many occasion.  Back in my day, and I am no old codger, this would be defined as high treason.  Why Congress refuses to seek the immediate impeachment of our commander in chaos I find troubling.

Dinesh D'souza tweeted today that someone asked him "Would you call Obama the worst American president or the first anti-American president?"  Well, that is some question, is it not?

For those who wondered about what the characteristics of the transformation of America might look like, perhaps you can now see.  Obama seeks to diminish America and our colonial partners in punitive fashion on the world stage while fostering an advancement of the Muslim faith, open borders and Marxism throughout the world.  The evidence is overwhelming and on full display, and I conclude his is indeed the first ant-American president; an enemy within.

Meanwhile, evil is looming large on the landscape, and it must be promptly and thoroughly defeated.

Shine Out The Darkness of Evil

Almost anywhere your dart tossed at the globe of earth hits, evil is flexing muscle.

BAHL Revere recently posted a blog noting that throughout time, evil has been fierce an opponent of freedom.  Evil can come in many forms, from basic theft to targeting opponents with scorn and ridicule to creating mental anguish and physical harm to orchestrating and participating in unspeakable acts.

Sadly, this week we Americans are absorbing a variance of evil actions, from a sensationalized murder to governmental misuse of power resulting in deaths to among the most heinous crimes against man.

In Arizona, the mainstream media was sitting at bay waiting for the verdict to come back in the Jodi Arias trial, an attractive young lady accused of shooting and stabbing her seemingly stable and handsome boyfriend to death. Arias, who is obviously consumed with evil, was found guilty late this afternoon. Due to the media pushing the relevance of the case, it became a national story along the lines of Casey Anthony, an attractive Mom who murdered her daughter here locally in Orlando. Although covered by every news outlet found on DirectTV, other than noting another example of evil, neither story had any bearing on the lives of 99.9% of the people following the cases.

The events in Benghazi, which have been covered on the blog frequently, were the centerpiece of hearings today in Washington.  The media was lukewarm, as most have been since the event occurred, in their coverage.  Many Democrats, deeming the hearings some sort of witch hunt, snickered at and ridiculed the witnesses. Some are simply dimwits.  Given that we have four dead Americans, inclusive of US Ambassador Chris Stevens, one would think men and women of character would seek the truth and demand adherence and accountability to the rule of law.

Sadly, many are in protective function, concentrating efforts to conceal their positions, participatory in covering up the lies and intimidation of morally bankrupt leadership who relish in the misuse of power.  The actions of our leadership who lied to America and the victims families, most notably President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, are nothing short of offensive, and on many levels, evil.

Then, there are the Houses of Horror in Philadelphia and Cleveland.

Not politically expedient, the mainstream media is also sitting out the trail in Philadelphia of Kermit Gosnell, an abortion doctor accused of killing several live babies. Gosnell, whose clinic performed late term abortions Planned Parenthood and President Obama find morally acceptable, is charged with actions any sane individual would find unacceptable in a civil society.

FOX News Kimberly Guilfoyle, of whom we are big, big fans, posted a Facebook post on Saturday promoting a FOX News Special on Gosnell which aired last Sunday night.  Although the show has already aired, her post thoroughly states the case and is well worth the read:

Kimberly Guilfoyle
See Evil So That We May Rid Ourselves of It
By Kimberly Guilfoyle

We can be judged in many ways. One measure of a civilization’s morality is how it treats those without power. Pope John Paul II once said, “a society will be judged on the basis of how it treats its weakest members; and among the most vulnerable are surely the unborn and the dying.” As I write these words 7 women and 5 men are deliberating the fate of a man accused of killing our country’s most weak and most vulnerable. The alleged crimes are horrific and difficult to imagine, but they must be shown to the world. We cannot turn away because a topic is unpleasant or vile. Why? Because one way to rid our society of evil is to confront it boldly.

The man standing in judgment is Dr. Kermit Gosnell. His trial, in Philadelphia, went to the jury this week. The charges being considered number in the hundreds, but it is the four first-degree murder charges and a single third-degree murder charge that have left me bewildered and saddened.

Dr. Gosnell ran what became known as the “House of Horror.” An abortion clinic where he is accused of killing 3 babies, born alive, during late-term abortions. He faces the third-degree murder charge for the killing of 41-year-old Karnamaya Monga.

Many of you may not have heard about this case. It has the dubious distinction of being one crime story the mainstream media isn’t all over. It is an “abortion story,” the one topic that defies the media’s “if it bleeds it leads” mantra. Whether it is the gruesome details of how these children were allegedly killed or that the case involves the politically inconvenient topic the courtroom seats reserved for the media went largely unused.

I have sat in those seats and witnessed court testimony so heartbreaking and abhorrent that it could easily be mistaken for the most horrible of fictions. Sadly, as a seasoned prosecutor, I know what dark acts people are capable of. I have seen and heard my share of evil, but this trial has tested my faith in humanity. It has been eye-opening and life changing.

Tonight at 9pm Eastern on the Fox News Channel we are airing a special on this crime that I participated in. It will not be easy to watch. It will bring many to tears and fill others with anger. However difficult it may be I urge you to watch. Information is power; it is the light that will “shine out the darkness.”

Given the testimony, it is becoming concerning the jury deliberation is taking so long.  Hello?

Seemingly by accident, authorities discovered this week a home where three kidnapped girls were held as sex slaves for approximately 10 years in a suburban Cleveland home.  Three brothers were arrested, but investigators have centered around the homeowner, Ariel Castro.

While we thank God these three girls were found alive and have been reunited with their families, the acts committed against them are among the highest levels of evil.  We will not get into specifics here, but it is needless to say this home was in fact a house of horrors.  Charges against Castro currently include kidnapping and rape, but odd strongly favor more very serious charges will be forthcoming.

The victims in Cleveland will face extensive therapy on the road to recovery, if that is even possible. Hopefully in the case of Ariel Castro, there is a do not pass to go straight to the electric chair.

The bottom line after review of these particular cases is that evil is running rampant in America. Investigation of the reasoning will lead down many different avenues, inclusive of urban decay, the breakdown of the family, the lack of personal accountability and the lack of adherence to the rule of law, from our governmental leaders down to the local shoplifter.

As evil encroaches our landscape, we will continue to see an erosion of our liberty and freedom.  From government agencies seeking additional regulation in an effort to keep the citizenry safe to the citizens handicapped ability to engage in various activities due to a rogue criminal element and due to acts of terrorism as we recently witnessed in Boston, freedom is lost. Freedoms lost range from cancelled Boston Red Sox games to the local playground activities.

As the groundswell of voices, not letting a crisis got to waste, command for additional regulatory action in effort to keep the citizenry safe, although in some instances it will be difficult, as we shine out the darkness we must remember the words of Benjamin Franklin:

Out With The Bathwater

Last year, FOX Business Network ended their 5 PM show "Happy Hour", for a new show with Gerri Willis, who came over from CNN. The new show is not bad, but I find it much inferior to Happy Hour. Then again, who could compete with Glenn Beck over at FOX?

Now comes word that the entire primetime lineup at FOX Business will get the axe. Not a good move in my estimation.

Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano was a very good show. Now, it should be noted this show was in competition with The O'Reilly Factor over on FOX, the top rated cable news show by far. Freedom Watch did need some tweaking, and I was getting very tired of the Judge promoting Ron Paul for President. Overall, however, Napolitano asked intriguing questions of top guests from the political and financial world. This show will be missed, at least by me.

David Asman is very professional and at the top of his game. His current show Power and Money, which evolved from America's Nightly Scoreboard, was very good and often dove into off the mainstream topics, with Agenda 21 being an example. Hannity, over on the flagship FOX, is king of 9PM, but this show worked well and I will miss it as well.

Eric Bolling is outstanding, and his show Follow The Money, had a real chance to overtake On The Record with Greta Van Susteren over on the Flagship. FTM had the big screen here at my humble abode, but the show could have used some tweaking as well. The decisions by the FOX brass to include wacko socialists as nightly panelists on FTM, like the newly hired Sally Kohn and Jehmu Green, hurt. Nobody with a brain has any care about the opinions of these Obama apologists. Anyhow, Bolling is a star and this news is most disappointing. At least Bolling falls back to focusing on The Five over on FOX, a real hit.

Melissa Francis, who jumped off the sinking ship at CNBC to come over to FBN, is slated for a 5PM show, while Gerry Willis will move to 8PM. While Francis is talented, I hope the executives at FBM are not counting on a ratings increase, because it will not be forthcoming with these moves.

Lori Rothman and Charles Payne

If FBN, is going a different direction, they should immediately launch a financial show hosted by grossly under utilized Charles Payne, and a crossover show with the lovely Kimberly Guilfoyle. Business babes Tracy Byrnes and Lori Rothman are also under utilized, but what do I know?

I know I will miss each of these programs and do not have any excitement about the changes.

Five Forgotten

When Glenn Beck left FOX News Channel after smashing rating numbers for the 5PM EST time slot, FOX rebounded nicely with the new show The Five, with five rotating panelists discussing the events of the day. This show is outstanding, with excellent co-hosts Eric Boling and Kimberly Guilfoyle. Anything that puts the lovely Guilfoyle in front of the camera will be a ratings success.

Even so, this week I was following five stories, or in the case of Rick Santorum's sweep, variations of, that The Five did not cover. As good as this show is, and as good as FOX is, many very important stories do not get proper coverage, if they get covered at all.

Below are five that I focused on this week, and I wonder is any of the readers knew about these stories. They are important, so have a look

NANEX

I was over at Zero Hedge and found an alarming story on high frequency trading. On the day Uncle Sam was downgraded back in August, a staggering increase in high frequency trading ensued and has continued since. Check out the story and the chart over on Zero Hedge HERE.

It seems to be that algorithmic trading between computers is taking place at a highly increased level, and while there is a place for such trading, this type of activity is dangerous. You got any ideas about what is happening?

RICK SANTORUM

Rick Santorum had a big night this week, winning Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado. They picked Rick! Although the pundits discussed the momentum perhaps gained by Santorum, and the problems perhaps exposed by his opponents, I focused on his outstanding victory speech.

Santorum spoke truths about the Obama administration, that they seek to rule over the people rather than listen to them, that they wish to rule over them and run their lives with a lengthy list of central planning programs because they think they know better than you.

Obama really does look down on the people, with soaring rhetoric about helping the people while actively reducing the freedom of the people. Santorum has the right message, and it would do America well to hear him!

BORDER CALAMITY

On GBTV, Glenn Beck presented an incredibly alarming program on the activities taking place on the border. Although there are a handful of Americans who have some level of understanding about the high level of national security issues taking place along the border, most have no clue how serious this problem is. Unfortunately, the problem is worse than ever, and our government, on both sides, is for the most part sitting it out. Why, I do not know.

Although I could not get elected dog catcher in my community, if I were President, with a thorough understanding of the severity of the problem, I would have the US Military seize the day immediately, using any force necessary.

Hearing the facts presented is a depressing indictment of the failures of our government, but unfortunately, something you must become knowledgeable about. The video is not for the faint of heart, so viewer discretion is advised. However; knowledge is power, so have a look on Glenn Beck HERE and HERE.

HOUSING PLAN

Stupid is as stupid does. President Obama has yet another plan to punish banks and reward bad behavior in an effort to boost the housing market. Jimmy Petholoukis leaked that Obama was ready to release the plan, hitting banks with punitive punishment and forcing them to refinance some home owners. Should the banks fail to comply, a newly appointed Czar will seek them out for punishment. Of course, costs force upon the banks will be passed on to the consumers. This will raise the cost of capital, reduce the amount of mortgage activity and prolong the crisis.

Obvious to just about everyone not involved with wealth redistribution, this program will only hamper any recovery in the housing market. As we have repeatedly said, for the housing market to improve, a growing job market must be in place allowing free market principles, free from government interaction, to form an efficient market where buyers compete with sellers in arms length transactions. Under such a market, price will be established a normal market can resume.

Obama will not allow this to take place, as his principles center around wealth redistribution directed by a government who picks winners and losers. This creates an inefficient market, is not free market capitalism, and will restrict the pace of any recovery.

CME GROUP

On Wednesday, the S&P cut the CME Group Inc.'s credit rating in the aftermath of the debacle involving the collapse of MF Global. The has been under fire since MF files for bankruptcy. Under normal market conditions, this news would some kind of spook the markets.

Be advised there is much more here than meets the eye, and the fallout could be mind boggling. Customer funds were stolen, and with this type of activity taking place, the integrity of the market is zero. Ann Barnhardt, of Barnhardt Capital Management, has been leading the way in covering the real story going on here from a birds eye view.

Sunday Night Song

With the Seminoles beat down of Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Chik-fil-a Bowl concluded, it was time for New Years Eve festivities. I tuned into FOX News coverage of New Years Eve from Times Square in New York City, hosted by Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly, with the hottest roving reporters you ever saw in Ainsley Earhart and Kimberly Guilfoyle.

I was certainly surprised to see among the musical artists ringing in the New Year was Rick Springfield. Springfield, perhaps better known for his time on ABC's General Hospital as Dr. Noah Drake, has as a musical artist a well known hit, Jessie's Girl, which he performed. Jessie's Girl is also recognized as the top karaoke song across the world.

Springfield is not the only person to springboard from General Hospital to musical stardom, but he is the first. After decades on the run, Dr. Noah recently returned to Port Charles for a two year stint, teaming up with the gorgeous Finola Hughes.

Happy New Year from BAHL's Blog, and Dr. Noah. Here is this weeks Sunday Night Song: Springfield and Jessie's Girl:

Left Aims to Incite Violence

Geraldo Rivera joined most of the other media outlets in an attempt to smear the tea party patriots across this great land on his program Geraldo at Large on Saturday night, and in a follow up interview, Tea Party Express Chairman Mark Williams let him have it. Take a listen:

Rivera acted like he had no idea what Williams was speaking of. Geraldo is therefore either an idiot or is lying about the piece he presented. Did you guess both?

The story in question, which I heard live in its entirety, was for sure a hit piece. Geraldo's brother Craig held an interview with the some chap from the Southern Poverty Law Center in an effort to conflate (ADD MOMENT: don't you just love the new popularity of this word) radical militia groups with the tea partiers and label the tea party participants as angry white racists. Why? For the Obama administration, and progressives in Congress, the tea party is an unexpected problem, and a huge one at that. Therefore, even though they represent middle America and have exhibited zero violence in the thousands of rallies they have held over the past year, they must be discredited.

Certainly, the usual suspects are marching in lock step in the effort to plant the negative narrative about the tea party patriots. Did you hear former President Bill Clinton, as we honor victims on the weekend of the fifteenth anniversary of the Oklahoma city bombing, sound off? How about the deplorable efforts by NBC News. FOX & Friends filed a decent report:

H/T HotAirPundit

NBC News Chris Matthews provided an outlet for Kathleen Parker, a fellow FSU graduate who should really be ashamed of herself, and Time Magazine's Joe Klein to weigh in. Not be left out, CBS News got a late start.

Geraldo came back with further insults to the tea party on his Sunday evening show, interupting a report by the lovely Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Understand what is taking place. The Tea Party movement has those in power petrified and fierce and overwhelming steps must be taken to discredit the movement, including putting forth a narrative that paints the movement as radical, even if it is only the good, hard working taxpayers of America. This is despicable behavior by our leaders and the mainstream media, as it appears from their actions they are trying to incite violence.

Martin Luther King, JR would be appalled! So is middle America, and so am I!

BAHL's Babes: Kimberly Guilfoyle

FOX News is well known for the beautiful women they have on staff over there, and at or near the top of the list is the latest BAHL's Babe, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Kimberly can usually be found doing stories for or guest hosting Geraldo at Large, where she has her own segment called Kimberly's Cases, and on discussion groups on Hannity and The O'Reilly Factor. If I were the executives over there, I would be looking to increase her visibility.

Guilfoyle, who graduated from the University of California Davis magna cum laude, is a former Victoria's Secret model. She worked as an attorney and prior to joining the ranks of television attorneys, she served as an Assistant District Attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.

Although at one time she was married to a huge lefty in San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome, in the discussions she participates in on FOX she does come across as right leaning and even displays a sarcastic attitude to go along with her intoxicating smile.

When combining Kimberly's high level of intelligence with her striking beauty, you have a rising star at FOX news and the newest BAHL's Babe.

Rethink Kerik Penalty

SCREENSHOT/TVPERV.COM

With football finished there is not much going on Sunday night, other than prolonging the arrival of Monday, and with that I often find myself tuned into Geraldo at Large on FNC. Doesn't Kimberly Guilfoyle just look lovely?

Anyhow, this past Sunday Geraldo profiled the case of former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, who was recently sentenced to jail for accepting improper benefits in the form of some construction work while in office. And sentenced he was! MOXNEWS.com has the video. Take a listen:

VIDEO/MOXNEWS.com

I admittedly am not a scholar on the case, but reports suggest the Judge slapped Kerik with the maximum penalty, and then some. Guilfoyle, a former Assistant District Attorney, agreed the sentence was inexcusably harsh, exceeding an agreed upon range of sentencing by the opposing counsels.

From all accounts, Kerik has admitted he made errors in judgement and is prepared to pay the price for those decisions. But, it appears the judge in this case threw the book at Kerik for some untold reason.

Given that Kerik is a military veteran and served this nation in outstanding fashion during and in the aftermath of 9-11 in his capacity with NYPD, I think the sentence handed him was excessive and should be reviewed and adjusted.

I, for one, Thank You Mr. Kerik and wish you well.

Lack of Transparency

There was such great hope back when President Obama was elected by many of our citizens that government would be conducted differently, where the sun would shine in on the peoples business. It was promised by Obama, a wave of transparency:

So many could not see the real Obama while enjoying another night of American Idiot. Obama hoodwinked you folks. Obama is far from transparent, even appointing a bevy of Czars who operate and strongly influence policy without congressional oversight.

Beyond that, speaking of Congress, their actions, particularly during the passage of the Health Care Bill, have been exclusionary and anything but transparent. They have been appalling and have included bribery on various levels, including the "Cornhusker Kickback", which is an embarrassment to all us 'Huskers. The arrogance of these elected officials, who work for us by the way, really has been jaw dropping. Even the folks at CNN have had enough:

Sean Hannity discusses the lie of transparency with columnist SE Cupp, a fellow Tony Stewart fan, and the sizzling Kimberly Guilfoyle. They knock it out of the park!

Healthcare Hoodwink

One of the top news stories of the day was new information regarding Breast Cancer, and as usual, I can see beyond the cloaking device at what is really going on.

First, the news. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force adjusted their stance recommending mammogram for women over 40 to only once a year for those over 50 reported the Wall Street Journal. In addition, they advised against physicians teaching women self testing techniques upon new information they are of little value.

Quoting the Wall Street Journal article, The task force, which receives funding from the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality but is independent from the government, last issued guidelines for breast cancer in 2002. "The task force isn't saying there isn't a benefit" to screening women in their 40s, but "we're saying the benefit is small," Dr. Petitti said. "The change really is a change between do it routinely and don't do it routinely." Women 40 and older who are free of any symptoms should talk with their doctors and decide with them whether to put off screening for a few years, she said.

Who is AHRQ you may ask? They describe themselves on their website as "The health services research arm of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), complementing the biomedical research mission of its sister agency, the National Institutes of Health."

Although many articles are hitting private insurance on this one, including representatives of the Susan G. Komen Foundation as noted in the WSJ article, I find the opposite. As our government prepares to take over the health care industry, they are finding ways to cut costs. On such area appears to be by delaying testing of breast cancer through expensive mammograms.

In private business, cutting costs is a prudent measure. But in the case of your health battling the deadly disease of cancer, this type of thinking could cost you your life. Dr. BAHL, not a MD by any stretch of the imagination but having gleefully performed many breast examinations in my day, highly recommends that not withstanding the governmental noise, women check early and often! Save the Tatas! And perhaps, your life!

It seems to me that this is an example of where Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, through arms of the government, are already choosing a level in healthcare where winners and losers collide. Market forces, you and your physician should be the ones making these decisions, not bureaucrats, or as Sarah Palin accurately pointed out, death panels, with hidden agendas.

Speaking of hidden agendas in the health care abomination, Sean Hannity discusses the topic with SE Cupp and the very, very lovely Kimberly Guilfoyle. Take listen:

Thugs Attack America From Within

Unfortunately, the extreme seriousness of the issues take away the humor in the debacle of the Cash For Clunkers program, which is broke after one week.

How anyone could seriously advocate the government taking over our health care system is beyond any sound thinking. Not only have they demonstrated their inability to maintain solvency in most if not all programs, there appears to be a more sinister objective. Check out the provision discovered in the Cash For Clunkers program and listen to the discussion with Glenn Beck, Jonah Goldberg and the very lovely Kimberly Guilfoyle :

And to think people were pissed at Bush for the Patriot Act. Where are these people now?

This government is operating like the mafia. If you oppose them, they crush you. Look to the GM and Chrysler car dealers for an example. Among those who provide checks and balances on the actions of the government are the Inspectors General. Remember Gerald Walpin?

Isn't it just great to have 35+ Tsars who answer to the President and are not accountable to the people?

In an outstanding editorial in Investors Business Daily, Michael Barrone gives us a pre-election glimpse of what we are in for. Not enough people were listening.

There are a few in Washington sounding the alarms now, including Darrell Issa, R:CA and Michele Bachmann, R:MN.

While making rousing speeches seemingly daily where crowds are just tickled pink, Obama is doing exactly what he said he would do; Remaking America. Most of the cheering crowds did not get it in the campaign and although many eyes have been opened, most are still asleep.

It is critically important that America opens her eyes and registers the actions of this group of thugs, operating through arms of soldiers like ACORN, kings of civil disobedience. Time is running out as the administration is in a race to pass legislation before most recognize what is going on.

As evidenced by his apology tour, Obama thinks America needs to be different. I reject Obama and his path to remake America, as I am mighty proud to be an American!

See ya at the next tea party!
