Bye Brenda

Neil Cavuto said of Brenda Buttner: "She took stock of life much more than any stock in life. It's what separated her from everyone else in this business. Not just dollars, you see, Brenda had depth. Let it be known that Brenda Buttner made us want to watch a business show with heart. Her heart, her spirit. She democratized dollars and just made sense."

I watched and appreciated Brenda for a better part of two decades, from her start over at CNBC to her last work at FNC and FBN.

No doubt, I will certainly miss her, and always think of her during Bulls and Bears.

BAHL's Babes: Michelle Fields

While character, education, perseverance are among the qualities for a successful career, beyond the qualifications and competencies, sometimes you have to keep surfing the waves waiting for your perfect opportunity.  For Michelle Fields, a 2011 graduate of the Waves of Pepperdine University, the opportunity was seized upon when presented.

Fields gained valuable experience at Pepperdine, serving as president of the university chapter of Students For Liberty, while earning a degree in political science.

The wave Fields, representing ReasonTV, caught came in the form of a testy interview with actor Matt Damon over reform of teacher tenure.  Damon was intellectually outclassed by Fields, and many appropriately took notice.

Over at The Daily Caller, Editor in Chief Tucker Carlson, whom Rush Limbaugh affectionately refers to as Chatsworth Osborne, Jr., the invitation to join the staff was presented to Fields. Utilizing the combination of her intelligence and playful but skillful demeanor, she has excelled, gaining an escalating legions of admiring fans.

Fields has moved on from The Daily Caller. Currently, this emerging star is a frequent contributor on FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network and is a correspondent and host over at Next Generation TV, an online community for millennials and division of PJ Media.

It has always been my contention, that what separates a beautiful women from the others is the combination of beauty, brains and charming wit, which can be found in spades behind the intoxicating smile of Michelle Fields.

BAHL's Blog is proud to announce the lovely Michelle Fields as the latest addition to BAHL's Babes.

The Essentials

Tonight, until the GOP's caves, we sit on the precipice of a government shutdown.

What we will ever do without all those government programs and federally funded boondoggles? If we can do without the non-essential personnel, are they essential in the first place? Shut it down!

While we wait, why don't we get the essentials, brilliantly chronicled in a most entertaining essay from a master of political commentary and wit, Neil Cavuto of FOX News Channel; Take a listen:

Blame Entitlement Society, not US Capitalism

It was only a matter of time. Shortly after the kickoff of the G20 Summit, José Manuel Barroso, EU commission president, blamed the United States and capitalism, for the financial armageddon striking the Eurpoean Union.

"This crisis was not originated in Europe … seeing as you mention North America, this crisis originated in North America and much of our financial sector was contaminated by, how can I put it, unorthodox practices, from some sectors of the financial market.".

Barroso, a communist who would not a pro-forma if it rang the front door bell, is actually using EU crisis to promote his political agenda. While foreign investors did purchase collateralized debt obligations, primarily mortgage batches, that blew up, an economy which produces few assets and has exponentially expanding liabilities is the real culprit. Investment novices, risk measurement is not their forte'.

Alarm bells have been ringing in Europe for decades, but for the last few years, perhaps the loudest harbinger has been Nigel Farage. What does Farage think of this claim? Farage spoke with David Asman of FOX Business:

EU member countries cannot meet their obligations, smothered by expanding entitlements, which have required bailout after bailout. EU leaders have implemented the Keynesian model of increasing stimulus in effort to create economic growth. President Obama has met with the EU leaders promoting this philosophy. In fact, Obama is implementing this model here in the states. But by any statistical measure, the model has failed in Europe and is failing here.

Government does not create wealth; it destroys it.

Germany has had enough, and although Obama and the EU continue to push Germany to continue to participate, they are ready to cease bailouts. With the European Union on the brink of collapse, and time is short according to billionaire financier George Soros, no doubt short the EU.

But there is hope as Soros and the technocrats running the EU have a new idea; for the member nations to relinquish banking sovereignty to chosen technocrats running the EU. Shockingly, France is ready to go with this plan.  With the EU member citizenry already robbed of their identity with their entrepreneurial spirit crushed, civil disobedience is ushered in.

Enhancing the further collapse of a society would be for technocrats to rule over budgets, terminating opportunities for individual advancement and growth of the citizenry. With the citizenry having no vehicle for changing course, as the technocrats are not elected by the citizenry, each country falls under the governance of a panel of dictators, who are not going to allow this crisis to go to waste.

It would further allow for an objective of Soros; an open socitey, which ultimately eliminates the sovereignty of participating countries and its citizenry, which ultimately reduces freedom.

I join Farage in counseling the EU members to seek out individual freedom through free market economic principles, the best path to social and economic freedom and prosperity.

Capitalism Unconquered

Out on the road promoting his new book No You Can't, John Stossel dropped by my old stomping grounds over at Florida State University. Stossel got together with Dr. James Gwartney, one of my former professors and director of Economic Education at Florida State University.

In the discussion, Stossel engages FSU Economics Professors Dr. Gwartney and Joe Calhoun who argue government can’t create jobs. Opportunity costs, the broken window fallacy and incentives are among the topics visited during the discussion.  Take a listen:

Students from the Economics Department also joined in the discussion, and it is great to know that sound economic theory, centering upon economic freedom, continues to be the centerpiece of the educational environment over at the Bellamy Building.

Free market capitalism remains the best path to prosperity, at Florida State, throughout the fruited plain and across the globe. If only our government recognized this truth.

Out With The Bathwater

Last year, FOX Business Network ended their 5 PM show "Happy Hour", for a new show with Gerri Willis, who came over from CNN. The new show is not bad, but I find it much inferior to Happy Hour. Then again, who could compete with Glenn Beck over at FOX?

Now comes word that the entire primetime lineup at FOX Business will get the axe. Not a good move in my estimation.

Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano was a very good show. Now, it should be noted this show was in competition with The O'Reilly Factor over on FOX, the top rated cable news show by far. Freedom Watch did need some tweaking, and I was getting very tired of the Judge promoting Ron Paul for President. Overall, however, Napolitano asked intriguing questions of top guests from the political and financial world. This show will be missed, at least by me.

David Asman is very professional and at the top of his game. His current show Power and Money, which evolved from America's Nightly Scoreboard, was very good and often dove into off the mainstream topics, with Agenda 21 being an example. Hannity, over on the flagship FOX, is king of 9PM, but this show worked well and I will miss it as well.

Eric Bolling is outstanding, and his show Follow The Money, had a real chance to overtake On The Record with Greta Van Susteren over on the Flagship. FTM had the big screen here at my humble abode, but the show could have used some tweaking as well. The decisions by the FOX brass to include wacko socialists as nightly panelists on FTM, like the newly hired Sally Kohn and Jehmu Green, hurt. Nobody with a brain has any care about the opinions of these Obama apologists. Anyhow, Bolling is a star and this news is most disappointing. At least Bolling falls back to focusing on The Five over on FOX, a real hit.

Melissa Francis, who jumped off the sinking ship at CNBC to come over to FBN, is slated for a 5PM show, while Gerry Willis will move to 8PM. While Francis is talented, I hope the executives at FBM are not counting on a ratings increase, because it will not be forthcoming with these moves.

Lori Rothman and Charles Payne

If FBN, is going a different direction, they should immediately launch a financial show hosted by grossly under utilized Charles Payne, and a crossover show with the lovely Kimberly Guilfoyle. Business babes Tracy Byrnes and Lori Rothman are also under utilized, but what do I know?

I know I will miss each of these programs and do not have any excitement about the changes.

Payne Squawk's Street

FOX Business Network's John Stossel recently spent an hour on his weekly program to investigate the claims being made by those at Occupy Wall Street. As part of the discussion, Stossel spent a segment speaking with Charles Payne, FOX News contributor and President of W Street Investors, about the many benefits of Wall Street. Take a listen:

There is little doubt that unscrupulous behavior has taken place by many who participate in the system of trading securities on Wall Street. Unfortunately, most if not all have not been held accountable. I don't know about you, but Franklin Raines, former Fannie Mae Chairman, is atop my list of those who should be at Sing Sing.

But Payne is spot on in his assessment. Government involvement rewarding bad behavior goes against the incentive based process of climbing the ladder, leading to market inefficiency and creating debilitating moral hazards and discarding personal responsibility. Entrepreneurship leads to growth companies, which are often fueled by venture capital on Wall Street. When these companies emerge and become a success, jobs are created providing unlimited opportunities for our citizenry and risk takers are rewarded.

No bailouts should have taken place, for failure is part of the process, often making people and corporations better from the lessons learned in the failed effort. Yes, unlike the media proclamation to the contrary, corporations are people.

For the little guy, Wall Street should be embraced and utilized as part of wealth building. Engaging in the dollar cost averaging process through discount brokerage firms, or through the companies themselves utilizing their dividend re-investment programs (DRIP), of many well known corporations can lead to future prosperity. Over 1000 companies, including Coca Cola, Walt Disney, Proctor & Gamble and Harley Davidson, participate.

Corporations are not evil and are not thwarting the success of those complaining at Occupy Wherever. Due to government interaction in the marketplace, many have been dealt a hard blow in recent years. Every government action to help has actually hindered. Until the taxation and regulation are reduced and free market capitalism can run wild, the job market will remain stagnant and the degree of difficulty in achieving success will be much steeper.

For those protesters, the quickest path to prosperity, if wanted, would be to embrace Wall Street and seek a prompt change at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. As Ronald Reagan said, government is not the solution to the problem, government is the problem.

Lessons Not Learned

Unfortunately, the financial bill (FINREG) has passed. Crafted by two of the top members of the architectural team of the housing crisis, Rep. Barney Frank (D;MA) and Sen. Chris Dodd (D:CT), this bill be deal a serious blow to the consumer. In addition, it will add further negative pressure on the housing market long term.

FOX Business takes up the potential effects in the following interview:

The new bill, over 2000 pages with many of the particulars of the legislation yet to be firmed up, will simply be devastating to small business and consumers. Governmental regulation increases costs which limit the choices of the consumer.

The banks will not be free to lend as they see fit, in their own communities taking into account current local market conditions, but will be governed under the new regulatory framework of this bill. It certainly will make effort to secure credit by the consumer more costly and much more difficult to obtain.

While we had to pass it find out what in it, there have been some real distressing items uncovered, from regulations on insurance to affirmative action hiring quotas for Wall Street.

Among the more puzzling items, the bill does absolutely nothing to rein in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government sponsored entities which contributed greatly to the housing crisis. Imagine that! CNBC has more:

The bill, signed in a ceremony at the Ronald Reagan Building, is insulting as it is in direct opposition to the principles and economic beliefs Reagan championed.

It would be great for Americans to let the following sink in: Free Market Capitalism is the best path to prosperity!

Keep the Tap Open at Happy Hour

According to a handful of reports, Happy Hour is over at FOX Business Network.

Happy Hour, a program set in the Bulls & Bears Pub in the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan, covers market related business and political topics of the day, with hosts Eric Bolling, Rebecca Diamond and Cody Willard. It allows interaction between bar patrons and the hosts and guests. Although drafts are a bit stout at $8 a piece, it was fun to "be a part of the show" while having a few tall cool ones. Last time I was there I tried to turn Imogen Lloyd Webber into a conservative but failed miserably.

This decision is one of many changes that has been taking place at FBN, and I view this particular move a major mistake. Certainly, I am no television executive and I am sure they could not care what I think. But this was a quality program that had the unfortunate draw of going up against Glenn Beck on FOX News Channel, where Beck has been rewriting the record book for ratings. I watch Beck at 5PMEST, but usually caught the replay of Happy Hour. I think the show would fare much better if they moved it 6PM.

FBN has some outstanding talent on hand and I hope they have some positive plans for the future. So far I am not real keen on what has been happening. Certainly, the recent departure of the talented Alexis Glick, who is left of my taste, is a major loss. I hear Judge Andrew Napolitano is getting a weekend show, and that is good news as he is very strong. Charles Payne is a very good market analyst and I would like to see him get a show. FBN also apparently canceled the Saturday show with Dagan McDowell and Tracey Byrnes, which I think is another mistake. Eric Bolling is very good and I do like Cody Willard and his opinions as well. David Asman is top notch, and his program America's Nightly Scoreboard is great. Liz Claman and Stuart Varney are strong centerpieces for Neil Cavuto to work with.

I hope the future is bright for FBN, but I sure do wish they would keep the beers flowing during "Happy Hour"

Empower the Entrepreneur

Across America, under the tyrannical governance of the Obama administration, small business, home of the entrepreneur, is under assault. The Kauffman Foundation, a foundation formed to attain economic independence by advancing educational achievement and entrepreneurial success by Ewing Kauffman, Marion Laboratories Inc. founder and former owner of Major League Baseball's Kansas City Royals, is combating the assault with a new entrepreneurial pledge.

Through the pledge, the foundation correctly concludes it will be the entrepreneur who leads any future economic recovery and they ask you to pledge to join the movement.

In that spirit, I am reminded of the great story of entrepreneurship of a self made multi-millionaire, Chris Gardner, whose story is depicted in one of my favorite movies, The Pursuit of Happyness. Recently, Chris Gardner sat down with Eric Bolling, Cody Willard and Rebecca Diamond on FOX Business's Happy Hour to discuss entrepreneurship.

Cash is in fact king, and the best path to prosperity is free market capitalism and the empowering of the entrepreneur. The current political path to socialism must be thwarted for our economy to regain expected levels of growth and expansion.

Big Day Looming For Big Suh

Former Nebraska All America defensive tackle Ndamuknong Suh, who won every college football award he was eligible for except The Heisman Trophy, stops by the FOX Business studios to visit Varney & Co. Host Stuart Varney, Charles Payne and Tracey Byrnes discuss the financial pitfalls many athletes face and a new contract for Suh with Subway Restaurants.

At the Nebaraska spring game last Saturday, Ndamukong Suh announced a donation of 2.6 million dollars to the University of Nebraska.

All Cornhuskers across the country are very proud of Ndamuknong Suh and his accomplishments and wish him the very best. While the St. Louis Rams may need a quarterback with the first pick in this weekends NFL draft, the best player in college football last fall was you know who; Ndamukong Suh.

Go Big Red!

Rubio Gaining Ground

David Asman of FOX News America's Nightly Scoreboard interviews Florida Republican Senate Candidate Marco Rubio on his recent polling gains in his primary race against Governor Charlie Crist. Take a listen:

Rubio is representative of the true conservative candidate that I think both Florida and America is yearning for. Look no further than the fraud being perpetrated in Washington by President Barack Obama and our big spending Congress to see what America is rejecting. Asman offers that Rubio, who is anti-establishment and a favorite of the tea party members, represents the future. So noted.

CNBC Favoring Obama?

I closely follow the goings on on the corner of Wall and Broad in Manhattan, and as such, have a monitor on CNBC throughout the day. I think they do a very good job, from watching the markets to the production of a tremendous slate of documentaries and for the most part, have an excellent group of anchors and reporters.

Unfortunately, the evidence is mounting that CNBC, with Obama corporate partner General Electric as their parent company, has taken a hard left in the presentation of their programming, and this is not good.

A race for Governor of New Jersey produces a case in point. Larry Kudlow, who is fabulous, presents commentary on information the race is over based on polling on Monday nights Kudlow Report.

Over on FOX & Friends this morning, the lovely Gretchen Carlson has an interview with Republican candidate Chris Christie and presents polling which show Christie with a slight lead.

Who is right? Rasmussen polling, the recognized leader in polling, has Christie slightly up, so go figure! So, is CNBC reporting way off or is there a bias in presenting Dave Corzine, the Democrat and Obama backer, ahead? Seems obvious to me.

Want more? Recently, on CNBC's Fast Money, commentary about the policies of Obama was squelched. Charles Gasparino, a stout reporter who is quite aware of his skills, was nudged (did you get the Cass Sunstein pun) by host Melissa Lee to button up when speaking of Obama. Take a listen:

If CNBC thinks traders are not cognizant of the anti-capitalistic policies of Obama and how they will effect the earnings, and composition for that matter, of traded companies going forward, they are completely misinformed. Furthermore, to muzzle a correspondent making this commentary, points to an internal bias.

Increasingly lengthy face time for anti-capitalist far left progressive power brokers like Howard Dean and John Podesta is one thing, but efforts to curtail those attacking the policies of Obama, particularly on the home court of CNBC where economics and finance rule the day, will push FOX Business Network straight to the top!

An Opportunity Awaits

Up in New York, there is a very interesting Congressional race between a Democrat, an establishment Republican and a conservative Republican. While most of the Republican movers and shakers are supporting the establishment candidate, some voices have risen to support the conservative, Doug Hoffman, including Sarah Palin.

Palin is right on target, as usual, in calling it a "Time of Choosing", reflecting back to a speech by Ronald Reagan. As you may know, we have the same type of thing going on in Florida in a Senatorial race.

Governor Charlie Crist, who is the Republican establishment choice, is facing a true conservative in Marco Rubio. This race has been profiled on this blog before (1,2), but thankfully the race is getting the national exposure it deserves. Rubio joined Rebecca Diamond and the gang on the FOX Business's Happy Hour on Thursday. Take a listen:

We have to break the control the parties have over our electorate and turn the tables on the establishments providing us with candidates that leave us voting for the best of two evils. It is in fact a time of choosing for conservatives, and a critical juncture for the prosperity our country.

Now you know.

2009 Nebraska Cornhuskers Preview

OFFENSE

Nebraska was fortunate in 2008 as quarterback Joe Ganz returned to lead a very efficient offensive unit while new Coach Bo Pelini could focus on what he does best, and that is defense. Shawn Watson was retained to coordinate the unit, and Nebraska is fortunate to still have him.

Ganz is gone so The 'Huskers will be breaking in a new signal caller. Zac Lee, brother of FOX Business babe Jenna Lee, seems ready and poised for a guy who has so few snaps under his belt. Lee will operate behind a veteran line, which is very deep. A powerful big back little back punch of Quentin Castille and Roy Helu has been dealt a blow as Castille has been sent packing. What a shame! Meanwhile, Helu is very good but is he durable enough to play 60 minutes? The receiving core lacks a big play guy, but there is talent on hand to emerge in Chris Brooks, Niles Paul and Menelik Holt. Nebraska has a handful of weapons in some great pass catching tight ends in Dreu Young and Mike McNeil.

DEFENSE

Pelini did wonders with this unit a year ago, and now, with everyone buying in the opportunity for the top defense in the conference is possible. The Blackshirts are back, and a central reason for this optimism is the return of All America defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, fresh off his dismantling of Clemson and who is certain to be a top ten draft pick. Suh is extremely disruptive up front, and this allows a green but talented group of linebackers to patrol the field. Sean Fisher and Will Compton will start with Blake Lawrence and Matthew May cleaning up. The secondary lacks a clear all conference candidate, but there are solid performers in Eric Hagg, Anthony Blue, Anthony West, Ricky Thenarse and Larry Asante. Barry Turner returns from injury to join Pierre Allen as the rush ends. This group of defenders gives Pelini quite a bit of options he did not have a year ago, and I think the linebackers will be a strength while Suh dominates the line of scrimmage.

INTANGIBLES

The schedule has some difficult challenges, with a September trip to Blacksburg to meet Virginia Tech. In the conference, a home game with Oklahoma seems too tall an order. There is a Thursday night game at Missouri and a trip to Baylor, who scares me. A pair of late season road trips to Kansas and Colorado will be the deciding factor in whether Nebraska wins the north. Both games are winnable. Nebraska has been on the wrong side of the turnover margin for a few years now, and I look for that to turn around under an emphasis on the running game offensively and the attacking defense Pelini likes to employ.

HONORS CANDIDATES

Ndamukong Suh, barring inury, will be considered for the Outland, Lombardi and Bednarik trophies and win All American honors. RB Roy Helu and C Jacob Hickman could also emerge as all conference candidates and K/P Alex Henery could be among the top placekickers in the country.

NEW ARRIVALS

The one to watch here is quarterback Cody Green, who has shown a high level of maturity since arriving on campus. Should Zac Lee have problems, I doubt Pelini would have trouble turning it over to Green. With Castille gone, Rex Burkhead will get repetitions at IB, and he already has a substantial cult following. LB Chris Williams and DB Dijon Washington cold also emerge. Antonio Bell is a speedy guy at wide receiver who I think will become a real force on the offense.

FINAL ANALYSIS

Nebraska will be a better football team in 2009 than they were in 2008, but the record may not be indicative of that. Opportunities exist! Could the Big Red upset Va. Tech early on the road? Will OU be coming to town complacent? Kansas has a tough schedule so NU could lose to them and still win the north. But, don't worry, Nebraska rolls at 10-2 and plays in the Big XII title game. Next year, could be special.

The First Family of Football

David Asman of FOX Business America's Nightly Scoreboard caught up with the Bowden clan at a fundrasier for The University of North Alabama, where Terry Bowden has landed as head coach.

Certainly, things did not work out well at FSU for Jeff Bowden, but he has landed there with Terry where I wish them nothing but the best. Tommy Bowden will enter the world of college football broadcasting after his stint at Clemson ended a year ago.

Meanwhile, Bobby Bowden is getting ready to lead the 2009 Seminoles, where expectations are high for Florida State to take a big step toward returning to prominence in college football. This season will be that step as 2010 shapes up to be a season to challenge for the national championship, a season which I feel will be the last for Bobby Bowden.

I think it is very important for FSU fans to recognize the impact Bobby Bowden has had on Florida State University. He is a great man on and off the field and it will be my pleasure to cheer him and our Seminoles on again this year.

Take a listen to the interview as the first family of football discusses life in and around football:

Thanks Coach and Go Seminoles!

Arrogance On The Loose

Last week, the New York Times, of all people, wrote of the Obama administration mastermind behind "dismantling General Motors and rewriting the rules of American capitalism."

This would be the howl of a lifetime if were not true. But beyond the stupidity of leaving this massive and vitally important undertaking to a neophyte with little to zero experience participating in the private sector or formal training in economics, it demonstrates contempt for our capitalistic system and the lack of understanding for the love affair Americans have had with the automobile.

Glenn Beck summarizes in his brilliant fashion the idiocy of it all:

Finally, although this kid would not know a Catalina from a Bonneville, the culprit for closing Pontiac has been identified!

In an interview on FOX Business with Neil Cavuto discussing the upcoming trip to the middle east by President Obama, former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger , who once referred to Obama as a charlatan, called Obama's foreign policy amateur hour at the White House.

Eagleburger should not have limited his remarks to foreign policy. The arrogance and naivete of this administration is inflicting damage that will take years to overcome if that will be possible by the time this group is through.

FOX Business Babes Love The 'Huskers

The annual meeting for shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway is being held this weekend in lovely Omaha, Nebraska. Due to events associated with the 2009 Bobby Bowden Tour stop in Orlando this weekend I was unable to attend.

Liz Claman of FOX Business is out there and while at Borsheims, she had an opportunity to sit down with Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman (R). The economy in Nebraska is faring much better than most of the country. Take a listen:

Liz says her and fellow FOX Business babe Jenna Lee will be attending a 'Husker game this fall. Jenna's brother Zac is atop the depth chart at quarterback for the Big Red. GBR!

BAHL's Babes: Carrie Prejean

Three years ago at The Miss USA pageant, Miss South Carolina fired out a completely illiterate answer to a question and became the center of media attention. A firestorm has happened again this year, but this time it has teeth and will draw a political line in the sand. As one to speak my mind, let me emphatically position myself on the playing field for this debate. In doing so, for the third time in as many weeks, someone completely off the prior radar will become a BAHL's Babe, and that is Miss USA runner up, Miss California, the lovely Carrie Prejean.

Ms. California had the unfortunate opportunity to answer a question concerning gay rights by a low life gay rights activist judge, who interjected his personal biases into the pageant. The answer Ms. Prejean replied with likely cost her the title, but it won admiration from many, including me.

After the pageant, the judge and questioner, a Mr. Perez Hilton, posted his rationale on his website and verbally assaulted Ms. Prejean. Oh, and the folks out in Hollywood are none to pleased with her either, including some of those associated with the pageant.

Mr. Perez is all hot and bothered, I assume, that the liberal folks outs in California recently voted against legalizing gay marriage. He has every right to be, for this is America! I think he should leave his personal political bias at the door if he is asked to judge a contest. Perez indicated in his question his opinion that gay marriage is a "hot" topic for America. It is not, and 70% polled are against it.

Although the answer Ms. Prejean gave showed her nervousness, she was wonderful in the way she discarded political correctness and answered from the heart. I agree with her answer, that marriage is sacred and between a man and a woman, as taught in Christianity. I also share her opinion that those who are gay and wish to form a civil union are welcomed to do so, and I wish them all the best. However, it was Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, as they say!

As for Carrie, she is quite stunning and a former San Diego Padre girl as I understand it. In a post pageant interview with FOX Business Cheif Neil Cavuto, Prejean also indicates she is anti bailout and not a fan of welfare. Take a listen:

I am not sure what you may be into, but I will say that given the events of the Miss USA pageant, I am into Miss California, and Carrie Prejean is the newest BAHL's Babe!

On The Agenda: New Business

On my lunch hour, I did a fly by the Take A Report blog today and my eyeballs fell on the computer keyboard. OMG! How in the world could I have missed this?

Well, with the lovely Liz Claman running point, needless to say I will be replacing CNBC with FOX Business Channel as my preferred viewing channel for business news, and any other forms of business that may arise!
