Without question, considering the devastating impact the virus was expected to deliver to our nation, a bold, intelligently implemented plan was unfortunately needed.

America has cooperated in stunning fashion, particularly in the way they have relinquished, temporarily, our rights and freedom.

America is winning the health battle, but is now losing handily the economic part of this war. And that has got to stop. NOW!

It is time to move beyond the myopic view of health being the only factor dictating our actions.  We need to consider the economic ramifications, which are staggering. If we don't reopen right quick, we may pass the point of now return.

I have empathy and compassion for those impacted by this invisible enemy, but as an old friend, Lt. Commander Spock of Starfleet Command once said, "The needs of many outweigh the needs of the few - or the one.

Indeed. Truer words have never been spoken.

Today marks the eighteenth anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, which has scarred America forever. While we were not defeated, far from it, without question the country has never been the same since the attacks.

A great article in Conservative Review notes the following: "The purpose of American conservatism is to conserve freedom and justice for the good and happiness of all of us. Its purpose is to defend liberty from hatred and evil that seek to destroy. That is what we must remember on September 11, and on every day. We must never forget that."

I am extremely proud to be an American. I have a clear vision of the evil who attacked us on the that horrific day and in no way shape or form have I considered forgetting.
















Given the state of our nation today, in a constant battle to prove either or Aldous Huxley or George Orwell was more accurate, attacking itself and drowning in an ocean of political correctness it appears we may have already lost the battle.

The following was noted in an intriguing article presented by Ammo.com, which concludes: "Unless the United States is clear about who its enemy is and the price it is willing to pay to defeat it, we are destined for an endless war with ever-growing encroachments on American liberties. If this is the path America chooses, then there can be no doubt that we have already lost the war."

In fact, the same evil continues to threaten us to this very day. Enemies within are using the laws of freedom in our nation against us. We MUST stay vigilant, holding our principles dear as we maintain our strength and resolve to remain the powerful beacon of freedom in the world we were divinely inspired to be.

The Light of Life Burns

It's A Wonderful Life

This is without question of of the greatest films of all time, seen mostly around the Christmas holiday season.

There are a multitude of valuable lessons to be learned within the film, some noted in the following linked piece.

But there is much more to be learned, as outlined in a piece from Imprimis titled Frank Capra’s America and Ours. A quote from the writings of John Marini tackles the relativity from Capra's words and principles to those of America, and a man who shared them.

It is hard to think of a better way to describe Frank Capra’s view of the world, and America’s place in fulfilling its purpose, than to turn to another great American who made his living in the world of motion pictures. Ronald Reagan was a friend and admirer of Frank Capra. They were very much alike. The inscription that Reagan had carved on his tombstone could have been written by Capra: “I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will always eventually triumph. And there is purpose and worth to each and every life.” Both Capra and Reagan looked to a benevolent and enduring Providence, and the best in man’s nature, as the ultimate grounds of political right. For them, as for Lincoln, America was more than a geographical location or a place where citizens shared a common blood or religion, or belonged to a common culture or tradition. America was a place where an enlightened understanding of “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” had made it possible to establish those principles of civil and religious liberty that gave “purpose and worth to each and every life.”

One of the strongest statements within the film comes nearing the conclusion. It is very simple, but most meaningful:

"Remember no man is a failure who has friends."

Communist Within

New York mayor calls for end of private property

Imagine for a moment the arrogance.

New York City Mayor Bill de balsio, a self proclaimed communist, wants to dictate the ownership and use of private property. Of course, private property is a central tenant of our founding.

We warned our New York friends about de blasio,but they went ahead and have overwhelmingly elected him anyway:

"DeBlasio is an impostor, an individual who does not share the vision of the founders and has actively fought against the interests of The United States of America. He is an opponent of freedom, and should in no way shape or form find himself anywhere the mayoralship of our beloved NYC."

If people like de blasio have their way and can issue governance over the citizenry in large scale, the light of freedom in our country will vanish and the great experiment of America will land in the ash heap of history.

Support For Sarah

The unruly and undisciplined behavior of the left should disgust any individual who believes in freedom and dignity.

However, as evidenced by the debacle associated with Press Secretary Sarah Sanders last week, when her party was directed to leave a public restaurant (and then chased down and heckled by the owner when her party landed at an establishment across the street).

While civilized people can have political and social disagreement, open to debate on the battlefield of ideas, the petulant left relies on bullying, verbal and physical abuse and downright violent action. If you recall the Charlottesville episode, the left even orchestrates interaction hoping to instigate an altercation, where people actually get killed.

By any means necessary, as directed by their mentor Saul Alinsky.

Civilized people are respectful of other peoples beliefs, and seek area of agreement while looking for teachable moments where ideas they support can be adequately advocated. Did you parents ever present the idea to you of "leading by example"?

No parent would be proud of the actions of the mob protesters who are not interested in civility, only advancing their agenda.

Ever notice how they never seem to have to ask off from work to join in these protests? I cannot just get off work from my job at a moments notice to go to an orchestrated rally during work days.

Can you?

The environment is being stoked, by mental midget politicians (Maxine Waters, D:CA) and a complicit media. Somebody is fixin to get hurt, and it is well worth noting the independent voters are watching.

We in fact stand strong behind Sarah Sanders, Pam Bondi, Kirstjen Neilsen, Stephen Miller and anyone else, to enjoy the freedoms this country has to offer without being bullied. When the time arises for public debate, we will be there, ready to present a factual, responsible and passionate position on the issues.

Evil of Agenda 21 Lurks Omnipresent

Omnipresent indeed.

Agenda 21 is in fact everywhere.

This evil global initiative is running roughshod over the American citizenry, with many of the uneducated cheering all along the way as their freedom is encroached upon while having their rights restricted.

I came face to face with it in my community as my local government received a grant to join with Safe Street Academy to claim without public hearing a lane of traffic on a four lane thoroughfare to make a safe lane for bicyclists and pedestrians. The City Transportation department claimed there were excessive traffic problems in this area, but as a local resident who travels the street in question on a daily basis, this is not accurate.

It is Agenda 21.

The goal with respect to this initiative is to ultimately eliminate the "evil" automobile.  A long time friend I ran into at a public event to discuss this initiative last weekend, who is associated with a bicycle club who just happened to have the majority of their membership present, as much as said so.

Our discussion got so out of hand, I wonder if I still have a friendship with that individual.

Public representatives were arrogant and condescending, hitting me in conversation with statements like "if you had all the facts" and "change is hard" to name a few.

I was called enhanced by conspiracy, but it fact the conspiracy was right there, in front of all to see, in the form of these bike lanes.

In losing points in the discussion, after accusing me of being an uncaring individual (code), before walking away my friend quipped "well, it is only a four week experiment and it will be gone soon enough."  I hope his right, and that has been what has been advertised, but I trust this ruling class of planners as far as I can throw them.

This is a critical fight going on in our nation, and 85% of the folks have no idea.

A Restrictive Economic Idea

Quite an interesting deep dive from Rich Hoffman on why rich liberals, with incredible brilliance in a particular arena, step outside to attempt to curtail our freedom by advocating more governmental control using manipulated economic data.

"Even though they are part of shaping tomorrow technologically, they are still liberals who don’t understand the nature of productivity properly—thus they have nothing to contribute on the really big philosophical issues of our time."

It is commonplace for those who have achieved at a very high level to forget that items that partnered with their own ambitions, work ethic and intellect to find fame, fortune, and perhaps, fulfillment.

You have to wonder why?

Did they not recognize their ideas fueled by incentive, along with the freedoms that allowed them to test, forecast and most importantly, fail, to reach their goals?

Their ideas about Universal Basic Income are all incorrect.

This effort is not a fix all, or even a band aid. It is another level bureaucracy that place individuals, committees, boards and governing bodies as a restriction on your goals, choices and incentive.

With UBI, rules set forth by the issuers will be put forth, more than likely placing recipients in a box, a box that fits an overlying political agenda of those running the governance.

And without question, as Mr. Hoffman accurately notes, productivity will be lost, taking a whole host of other positive economic byproducts with it allowing government to fill the void, gaining control.

But, isn't that the elephant in the room

Remembering Or Military Heroes

On this day, Memorial Day, we honor those who did Heroes of our beloved nation.

"Their Lives they held their country's trust; They kept its faith; They died its heroes."

On this and every Memorial Day, we take time to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and their families whose dreams were never fulfilled.

The Road To Serfdom is among the top must reads for anyone.

As Dr. Thomas Sowell accurately notes in a review of F. A. Hayek's masterpiece, "The rule of law, on which freedom itself ultimately depends, is inherently incompatible with socialism. People who are free to do as they wish will not do as the economic planners wish. Differences in values and priories are enough to ensure that. These differences must be ironed out by propaganda or power, if socialism is to be socialism. Indoctrination must be part of the program, not because socialist want to be brainwashers, but because socialism requires brainwashing."

Without the rule of law, you no longer have a nation of virtue wtih freedom and liberty for all.

Unfortunately, the assessment Dr. Sowell arrived upon in review of Hayek's brilliance, is actually happening.

Rather than "cheering for your team" no matter the policy put forth, it seems our citizenry should acquaint themselves with the ability to engage in critical thinking. Presently, powerful ruling class elite and progressive politicians, with the cooperation of their partners in the mainstream media, are pushing their agenda, littered with propaganda and fake news, on the citizenry.

It is, as progressive Stuart Chase wrote in 1942, "The Road We Are Traveling."

The "real" stories, which discredit the propaganda pushed by the central planners, is labeled Fake News.

Fake News is a new weapon designed by the central planners to confuse the citizenry, who has made recent strides on deciphering truth from deception.

But until America firmly wakes up and wins this battle, and make no mistake it is just that, that road is "The Road To Serfdom."

Long considered a top conservative thinker, incorrectly to be sure, Bill Kristol has been exposed as a big government globalist, and an opponent to the freedom seeking limited government citizenry.

Kristol, formerly with The National Review, was most recently exposed in joining other supposed conservative leaders in their opposition to Donald Trump. Make no mistake, Trump is not a conservative, but their opposition to him essentially was an assist the potential election of Hillary Clinton, who if elected, would have destroyed this country as founded forever.

We cannot say that others who participated in that Trump bashing effort, but given a tweet from Kristol this Valentines Day, it is very clear that Kristol should indeed be considered our opponent.

So it can be concluded that Bill Kristol would prefer the country to continue being run by the "deep state" rather than a representative of the people, which Donald Trump who ran thinking of the "forgotten man" and spoke at his inaugural of giving the power back to the people.

There you have it! Kristol says keep the power in the control of the global elite rather than having it reside with the people. #Trouble.

But famed Twitter pundit Mike Cernovich has a more disturbing thought:

Cernovich worries Trump's life may be in danger, and it pains me to say I find that concern reasonable.

Folks, we are in for the fight of our lives.

Donald Trump is fighting the Democrats, the progressive left, the progressives in GOP, neocons of both parties, globalists, the establishment, the mainstream media and former president Obama's army of chaotic community agitators masquerading as organizers.

And this is only in our nation!

Then there are all the swarming foreign opponents.

Given what I have been witnessing, I am not sure which is more formidable.

But what I do know is those of us who supported Donald Trump had better have our feet firmly placed, for we will sooner than later be tasked with standing in the fire with him.

It is amazing these facts surrounding socialism are so widely misunderstood. Perhaps it is because economics is also a blind spot for most Americans.
