A Little Man

Rahm Emanuel, former Obama chief of staff and present Mayor of Chicago, stepped out amidst the gunfire (protected by armed guards) to mouth off about President Trump's new executive order on vetting those entering our nation.

With youngsters in his city being murdered seemingly on every corner, Emanuel had the audacity to challenge the order and proclaim his city, a sanctuary city, would welcome any immigrants and refugees.

Yes, he forgot to differentiate between legal and illegal immigrants, which was by design.

Emanuel is a disgusting individual, a public servant who embraces his power with little to no regard for the well being of the citizens he was elected to serve.  And this little man aspires to higher office!

Many Chicagoans live life in danger, with no relief in site. It is murder capital USA!

Emanuel should be held criminally responsible for failing to adequately control the criminality engulfing his city and failing miserably to protect its citizens.

If anyone with any sanity is left in Chicago, where on the north side they are still celebrating a long elusive World Series victory, it is time to reach out to your Bear and Blackhawk neighbors hither and yon to hold this jackass accountable, and to seek an individual who empowers and appreciates the citizens who once made this city great.

Meanwhile, we will continue to support Trump in his effort to protect our nation from those who wish us harm, a responsibility "Deadfish" Emanuel cannot and/or will not tackle for his city.

Freedom's Last Exit

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. America is under attack; make no mistake.

And while the threat from terrorists around the world is deadly real and increasing, our immediate concern must be to recognize and combat our most significant threat; one from within. The headlines are dizzy from spinning round and round to cover, albeit with a slanted left wing bias, it is imperative that we understand that the greater majority of the major issues we currently face are orchestrated events with cynical political motivations.

For those of us who love America, this makes no sense.

However, a large contingent of our citizenry, in large measure found in the progressive left, view Uncle Sam as a thief and an oppressor.  This includes individuals you may have become familiar with, including Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Noam Chomsky.

In his new movie "America", Dinesh D'Souza introduces you to a slew of them.

In addition, sadly, this includes many politicians, several of whom are Marxists, who in recent trips to Cuba and Venezuela, have proclaimed their preference for a socialist, at a minimum, government.

While many of these are lower level, it is clear that President Barack Obama is among them. After all, he ran proclaiming he would fundamentally transform America. In his first inaugural, Obama spoke of remaking America.  But as D'Souza points out, to remake America, you must first unmake America.

How would President Obama go about doing that without stirring up a citizenry that would certainly oppose such an endeavour if they were in command of the facts?

Having a media heavily invested in you, presenting propaganda to the public, would be quite and asset, and Obama has that.  Wrestling control of private sectors industries allowing crony capitalism would be beneficial as well, and with Obamacare, extensive energy regulatory actions, control of the money center banks and a sizable chunk of the auto industry, things are falling into place.

While crisis after crisis seemingly just appear, Obama does not solve these issues, but rather travels around campaigning against straw men who supposedly are at fault.  The proposed solution from Obama in these matters is always government oriented, which increases governmental control over those involved.

Events that occur randomly, for which a potential political opportunity exists, are exploited. An example of such an event would be the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.  As Obama's former COS Rahm Emanuel said, 'never let a crisis go to waste".

However, the majority of these events are orchestrated and played, without the public knowing.  The best example of this is the recent rush of our southern border by children.  They did not get the command to start engines on their tricycles by osmosis.

But, why would the government create a series of crisis that are adverse to optimal prosperity of the citizenry?  Because the agenda of the anti-American progressive left is not the same as yours.

Their plans are well orchestrated, following Saul Alinsky tactics, in the implementation of the Cloward and Piven Strategy.  We have numerous posts on this strategy, but the following video essay is an outstanding overview.

The end result of all this chaos is increasing government control over you, limiting your freedom and liberty.  Obama and his team of lawless liars are rolling high miles on the road they are traveling.

Citizen Pain for Political Gain

Never let a crisis go to waste.

This phrase, made famous by former Obama COS and current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, is very informing of avenues the Obama administration will take to seek legislation and enact governance upon the American people. Whether or not against the will of the citizenry, the ends justify the means with this group of progressive elites who assume they can run your life much more effectively than you can.

A recent avenue of approach of a crisis, real or perceived, to engulf our nation is what is known as sequestration, which essentially is a series of across the board "cuts" designed to handicap the growth of government. Since compromise between the two parties was deemed unachievable, they agreed that the cuts, which hurt sacred cows on both sides, would seemingly force an agreement to be forged. 

Forget about it.

The sequestration cuts, which are not a real cuts but only a decrease in the amount of growth of an already extremely bloated federal budget, was only just over 2%.  Obama, not one to shy from lap dog media exposure, alarmed the public that there would be stark consequences should the sequestration, originally an idea born in the Obama White House, come to pass.  Take a listen:



Imagine, the government unable to find appropriate cuts in their ever expanding budget while all of us out here are scrambling to keep afloat as taxes and regulation rise while our wages decrease. In fact, as the ball dropped in Times Square in 2013, Obama increased our payroll taxes by just over 2%.  All us "working families" are dealing with it, but apparently our government cannot.

While this demagoguery was not becoming an individual in a leadership role, and most certainly our president, it was also quite false, but more importantly quite telling.  Under the supposed recovery underway, is it logical to assume these minuscule cuts would put our country in such peril? If yes, Obama should be removed from office due to incompetence.  Secondly, why is it always the firefighters, police officers and the military and the potential release of prisoners always the first to targeted for cut?  Regarding prisons, how about making doing the crime a bit less comfortable for those in the graybar hotel?

At any rate, this was another big lie by Obama and his team of strategists to scare the American people, and the spineless GOP, into compromise.  Thankfully, for once, the GOP did not cave, and guess what?  Only the items Obama could directly control have been seriously impacted, like White House tours and the operation of our national parks.  At any rate, while having to back track armageddon comments, Obama will seek to maximize citizen pain for political gain. 

Speaking of the national parks, is there something going on here we are not aware of? 




Could one of the reasons the national parks are first on the list of the "perceived" cuts be because we do not actually own them?

We all know Agenda 21 is a growing problem as part of relinquishing our sovereignty to the United Nations protocol, but if this is in fact true the encroachment of the United Nations may be much more problematic than originally thought.

There is little doubt Obama and progressives seek to advance government control over our citizens, reducing the freedoms and liberties set forth by our founding fathers.  No vehicle for seizing more power is out of line, because as noted by the Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, the ends justify the means.

Bombarding Americans with scare tactics as we jump from the crisis of yesterday to the emergency of today is no way to run our government, unless perhaps the objective is to implement the Cloward-Piven Strategy of crashing our system.

Citizen pain for politcal gain.  Sadly, so far so good in that regard.

Sunday Night Song: Pencil Pushers

As predicted, in the aftermath of the tragedy in Newtown, the left immediately engaged in an effort to encroach on the rights of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.  Last Tuesday, after reviewing recommendations presented after a study headed by VP Joe Biden, President Obama unleashed a series of regulatory measures, many unconstitutional, in an effort to combat gun violence. However, the measures cloak an attack on the second Amendment.

Of course, the left already had plans on how they might attack the second Amendment and waited until an event triggered an emotional response from the citizenry to attempt to enact legislation.

Remember, never let a crisis go to waste.

Although the Obama administration has never had issue with governing outside the consent of the American people, fearing legislative action the new legislative measures would ultimately fail, the regime sought increasing gun control through writing new law through executive action.

While many progressives in Congress have no issue with this, Senator Rand Paul, (R:KY) has had enough and is prepared to fight.  Paul speaks to FOX News Sean Hannity on the subject:



Obama's neighborhood of the south side of Chicago, home to among the strictest gun laws, is perhaps America's murder capital, an urban killing field of young mostly African American men.  Nobody from Obama to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel seems to care.

While those progressive elites have failed to address that problem they are most eager to severely restrict the citizens rights in the ownership of firearms. 

Of course, it is really not about the guns. It about control over you, gun owner or not.  After all, they know better how you should live your life.

The last thing we need is progressive pencil pushers taking away our Constitutional rights.  As they go for our guns, with that in mind, for Sunday Night Song, lets roll with Gimmie Back My Bullets, from Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Sunday Night Song: 1984

Nineteen Eighty-Four.

For a myriad of reasons, recently I have been thinking about George Orwell's 1984. With the re-election of President Barack Obama, as Victor Davis Hanson appropriately pointed out in a recent Investors Business Daily editorial piece, the "Beast Reagan Aimed To Starve Good To Gorge Under Obama." Sadly, right on target.

The recent death of famed economist James M. Buchanan, a leading scholar in "public choice" economic theory, reminded us of conclusions drawn, most accurately noted that those elected to government do not leave their ideology and self interests behind at the door. While in itself this is not necessarily a bad thing, it reminds that proper checks and balances are required from the citizenry as increased government interjection in the economy reduces freedom and liberty and is destined for failure.

A case study for that conclusion is examined in an excellent article the crossed my transom the other day regarding the significant decline of many large American cities. Michael Snyder, from The Economic Collapse blog is the author, details how cities such as Detroit, Oakland and Chicago have become infested with gangs, with increasing violence and lawlessness, and are deteriorating from within.  Government in these cities, due to financial constraints caused by idiotic progressive policies of social justice, have been forced to reduce effort to combat the criminals.

Chicago is particularly noteworthy.  The south side, where the greater majority of murders are taking place, is home to our President; Barack Obama.  With MSNBC contemplating that his record as President should place him upon Mount Rushmore, it is mind boggling he could not, or would not, have accomplished anything with respect to reducing the despair and hopelessness of those in the area that leads to this type of destructive behavior.

For the failure in that regard that was Obama, now his former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is now mayor, and he has absolutely given up.  Can he not do the job, or does he have an interest in not doing the job?  It is the latter.

Those in power like to have chaos on the streets, which leads the ill-informed to think they are in need of help from anyone who can curtail the situation.  By not enforcing laws and creating dependency among the less educated, the government creates an environment of hopelessness and dependency which leads to escalating crime resulting the community to cry out for help.  When they do so, it is the government to the rescue, the same folks who created the problem.  Oh, what job security.

In reflecting back to post war London in Orwell's 1984, wild dogs roamed the streets of a rundown city of crumbling buildings and deteriorating public services.  As noted above, several major US cites are following this pattern, with dangerous, violent urban killing fields where many are robbed of their identity and are hopeless, resulting in increasing violence and civil unrest the government fails to adequately curtail, and this is not by accident.

Over at The Burning Platform blog, a series of articles have been undertaken interacting the works of George Orwell and Aldous Huxley with the ever increasing control of the government, combined with the brilliant work of British rock super group Pink Floyd.  The blog posts, Hey You, and Mother Should I Trust The Government, are simply required reading. 

While I do not agree with all the context presented, I find most of it right on target and it does give us much to decipher.  Interacting Pink Floyd with the posts is very cool, and if you reflect back on Floyd's "The Wall", it is most appropriate.

Although all us makers are quite busy keeping all the takers afloat while the Obama administration executes their transformation of wealth plan, we must create the time in our lives to get informed and resist "inner party" as they continue to gain greater control over our lives.  If not, before too long we may find ourselves on the dark side with no exits remaining for escape.

We don't need no thought control, but we do need education on how our freedoms and liberties are being reduced. Evil Transcends Weaponry

On Friday, our nation was kicked in the gut by an unspeakable tragedy; a homegrown terrorist assault on our most prized representatives of the hope and promise of our United States; our beloved children. Twenty little angels were lost, and their families are deveastated and forever altered.
 
As my brother correctly stated on Friday evening, this attack on these innocent and helpless children carries a greater emotional pain for our citizens than the horrific events of September 11, 2001. To imagine the Christmas gifts that will not be opened is beyond heartbreaking.
 
As a Dad, and a proud American, I know my family joins millions around the world in praying for comfort for those who were directly affected by this unspeakable attack. A true act of evil.
 
Newtown looks like such a lovely place, and in the aftermath of the tragedy we learn of the heroic efforts of the staff at the school in their attempts to protect those little angels of students. The brave first responders also demonstrated an incredible level of professionalism. God Bless You All!
 
One thing I am quite clear on is that President Obama loves his two beautiful daughters, and he feels the pain of this tragedy like most all parents. It was an act of faith in many ways for parents across America to send our kids off to school this morning. "We can't tolerate this anymore," Obama said. Rarely am I in agreement with President Obama, but I concur that carnage of our citizens at soft targets around the country strongly suggests that America has some questions to answer.
 
Obama excels as Consoler and Chief, and his opening and closing comments at the service in Newtown last evening were surely heartfelt and meaningful as our nation weeps. However, in the middle of the speech Obama went on offense conveying how he will use the power of his office to regulate change, and I find it concerning. Will his effort bring out the post partisan leadership many who supported him have longed for, or will he utilize a crisis to obtain political victories only possible during times of tragedy.
 
While Obama engages America in welcomed rhetoric standing above, for the most part, engaging in the politics of this tragedy, his surrogates are on high octane offense. Former Obama COS Rahm Emanuel has called for a nationwide assault weapons ban, he of the "never let a crisis go to waste" gameplan. Over at CNN, Soledad Obrien, who can hardly contain her emotional support of Obama, has urged Obama to track people and firearms.  New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who literally wants to govern your life, has called for an enforceable assault weapons ban.  Over at MSNBC, Joe Scarborough, who claims to be the "resident" conservative, said Friday changed everything and has reversed course in the aftermath of the events and has changed his long held position on gun laws.
 
I am not a gun owner, although I have been considering taking the initial steps of becoming one. It is my right as an American. But taking in these comments, I can only conclude the left is obviously going after the guns; and those who own them, period.  Sadly, as the administration has changed the conversation by muddling the definitions of so many words, we must adequately define what would be considered an "assault" weapon prior to having an honest dialogue.
 
Perhaps some styles of military style weapons and "cop killer" ammunition are not reasonable for the citizens to own.  However, if this were to be recognized in a common sense debate would it be met as moving the Overton Window and taken as a step in winning political positions for the Democrats?  I suspect so, therefore any willingness to give any ground on the issue exhibiting common sense will not be given.  
 
I am hopeful President Obama will step back and examine the entirety of these complex issues, which contrary to his surrogates calling for immediate action in strengthening gun control, is about far more than attacking the Second Amendment. After a touching speech after Representative Gabrielle Giffords was shot, Obama failed miserably to corral the divisive rhetoric he found inappropriate In fact, Obama stoked the fire on numerous occasions.  Often, the rhetoric of Obama offers optimism, but pessimism underlay his actions.
 
However, I am skeptical he will do so, as I do not find President Obama and his surrogates as honest brokers.  Just last week, actor Jamie Foxx, a big Obama supporter and friend, spoke of gleefully "killing all the white people" in his new movie.  About that rhetoric Mr. President? 
 
While I am not a fan of commissions, a recommendation I heard last night to perhaps have retiring Senator Joe Lieberman (I:CT) to lead such an investigation seems to hold merit.  Many aspects need to be reviewed, inclusive of but not limited to mental illness, youngsters who place zero value on life, political correctness limiting God in our public discourse, child abuse, Hollywood and video games, which desensitize killing.
 
However, we must note that the individual who committed the crime is responsible for his actions, and those of us law abiding citizens should not be punished with a loss of liberty due to his reprehensible actions.
 
Freedom is not without high costs; however, if we are unable to adequately protect our children, we must examine the factors at play which prohibit that from happening and promptly address them.
 
President Obama has an opportunity here to lead in a meaningful way as our President.  Should Obama join his surrogates already in effort to seize the day in attacking the Second Amendment
implemented so our citizenry may be armed to thwart an oppressive and tyrannical government, I will join those is stiff opposition.
 
The Obama administration is among the most power grabbing administrations in history, closely resembling in many ways the FDR years in moving the Overton Window from liberty towards tyranny.  Evidence does not suggest they have a deep concern for constitutional rights, as Obama has proclaimed it an imperfect document.
 
Perhaps it would be wise to, once again, receive guidance during these times from Ronald Reagan:
 
 
Evil is always opportunistic, no matter what weapon. However, the power of God will rule the day. Our hearts bleed for those affected in Newtown, but evil will ultimately be defeated. We must all do our part to make it so.
 
We will continue to mourn with those in Newtown, and will forever remember those God has called home much too early.  God Bless those little angels lost, the brave school administrators who lost their lives, extended families and friends, the fine folks of Newtown and the United States of America.

The Long Knives

Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann roared out of the gate in the GOP presidential sweepstakes by winning the Iowa straw poll, which proved a knockout punch for fellow Minnesota candidate Tim Pawlenty.

Out came the long knives.

Don't blame it all on those intellectually challenged Democrats. Sharpened knives from the Progressives is what is at foot here, and regrettably this includes the Republican establishment, often referred to as RHINO's or Rockefeller Republicans. They have no interest in a Conservative woman who is a favorite of the Tea Party. After all, these folks are Progressives.

Bachmann got firebombed, complete with a hit piece cover story by Newsweek magazine. Add in a few gaffes on the campaign trail, and being labeled "crazy" by the lame stream media and down went the numbers.

Texas Governor Rick Perry jumped in the race, a Conservative with a great track record on job creation. In actual fact, Perry did not need the media to derail his campaign, thanks to some very poor debate efforts. Even so, he got hit on several fronts.

After all this carnage, former Godfathers Pizza Chairman Herman Cain got tremendous traction. Cain is very charismatic, and he unleashed a bold plan to reconstruct our inefficient tax system to rave reviews. Although Cain has been employed in several high profile capacities, his time at the National Restaurant Association supsiciously brought out of the woodwork four women accusing him of sexual harassment. Cain has suffered in the polls, as doubt has been created. Doubt can be most destructive, as brilliantly described in the 2005 award winning Broadway play by John Patrick Shanley.

Enter Newt Gingrich, the smartest man in the room. Newt readily admits he carries pounds of baggage, some deserved and some not. At any rate, with Gingrich out front, where will the knife come from?

Freddie Mac.

Gingrich consulted Freddie Mac, for a fee if you can imagine that, and this has the media in a tailspin. Given the problems to our economy caused by the back holes known as Fannie and Freddie, the media has concluded that folks who consulted these GSE's are eliminated from consideration of our highest office. Only if you are a Republican that is.

Never mind, nothing to see here, that several key figures in the Obama administration have very suspect backgrounds running, not consulting, Fannie and Freddie. See the following:

The New York Times David Brooks, who is a Republican impostor, describes James Johnson's relationship with Fannie Mae. Bloomberg Busninessweek outlines Franklin Raines story. Former Obama COS Rahm Emanuel was Director of Freddie Mac during scandal, reports ABC News. Peter Schwiezer's new book "Throw Them All Out" alleges insider trading. Jamie Gorelick, rumored to under consideration by Obama for Attorney General, is appropriately labeled the Mistress of Disaster, in part due to her role as Vice Chairman of Fannie Mae.

Michele Bachmann has said that the media is choosing the Republican candidate for 2012. Thus far, Congresswoman Bachmann is nothing short of correct.

The progressives, both Republican and Democrat, are carving up the playing field so each side fields a candidate that allows the game to continue to be played. Playing games is exactly what the electorate in this country is tired of, but it is important to note the establishment of both of these parties is not interested in what the electorate thinks, just expanding control over them.

Seeking a candidate who is an ejection from the system is the most attractive in my view, and that type of candidate is who they will stop at just about nothing to prohibit from winning. Think outside the box, and do not let the media poison your mind while these candidates, each far superior to Obama, stand in the line of fire.
