Caller ID

It is time for true leadership, contrary to what we currently have.

Look no further than the natural disaster of Hurricane Sandy. With his leadership qualities being appropriately questioned, President Obama promptly sought any and every opportunity to visit the affected areas and engage in the tasks we commonly expect from our President. It was the proper action, although we could been spared him interjecting his campaign slogan "Lean Forward" into official statements while his surrogates were ridiculing Mitt Romney for utilizing previously scheduled campaign events as opportunities to collect food and clothing in an effort to help those in need.

The timing is right for Obama, who was praised today by GOP fire breather New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for his prompt and non wavering assistance, to look presidential, which he does well.  For Obama, he can focus on overseeing the already plotted avenues of federal aid, rather than answer burning questions about the events in Benghazi.  And without question, the media will oblige him

For the President to act in a politically expedient fashion during times of natural disaster is truly sad, but actions in this regard with those charged with representing the United States either in military or civilian service, as we recently witnessed in Benghazi, is beyond dishonorable.

Womens United PAC, and most of America, has had enough.

We need a President who answers the call all the damn time, not when it is politically advantageous. It is far time for principled, honorable leadership in Washington.

Elect Mitt Romney!

We Know

Like most Americans, Saturday nights are spent with family and friends and away from the daily political crossfire. While I have caught Justice With Jeanine on FOX News Channel a few times, once football season rolls around, my focus is on the gridiron.

However, for the past two weekends, host Jeanine Pirro, formerly the Westchester County of New York District Attorney, has hit it right out of the park with her opening comments regarding the event surrounding Benghazi.

Two weeks back, Pirro hit administration members hard, wondering how they sleep at night given the negligent behavior that led to the deaths of four American patriots, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Regrettably, there is more reprehensible behavior beyond denying help to our patriots in peril. Megyn Kelly of FOX News Channel interviewed the Father of slain Navy Seal Tyrone Woods, and the comments by Charles Woods are simply breathtaking. Please listen to these comments, which are critically important:

The day the bodies of our slain countrymen returned to Andrews Air Force Base, I watched live the comments made by President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and was appalled. Both went to extraordinary lengths to discuss the video they blamed for the violence which killed our patriots. While many immediately recognized this falsehood, it has since come out that information presented labeling the video at fault was a deliberate political effort to conceal the truth.

Against the backdrop of the inexcusable failure of duty to protect those representing our country and government and fighting on our behalf, it is the blatant lies being spun by the administration that set off Pirro, and most of America. Take a listen.

Yes Mr. President, we know.  We all know.

We do not abandon our military come hell or high water. We do not expense those charged with conducting the business of America for political purposes. With a backdrop of caskets, we do not lie for political purposes to family members of our slain military members and the American people at large.

America; Wake The Hell Up!

The motivation behind this despicable behavior is beyond reason. However, a conclusion is easily, and sadly drawn; that those in current leadership of our country are without honor. With a criminally complicit news media helping to obstruct the truth from the American people, it will take some time for the findings of an investigation to unfold.

However, when the entire story of Benghazi is told, many at the top may be guilty of treason. While we will continue to seek justice over these events no matter the difficulty, immediate action can be taken in throwing these dishonorable people the hell our of the peoples house on November 6; and do so in honor of our fallen heroes.

South Carolina All America running back Marcus Lattimore, who battled back from a severe knee injury a year ago, suffered a devastating and gruesome knee injury on his other knee at a home contest against Tennessee. It was tough to watch. Lattimore is a top talent, but his persona, attitude and work ethic is what has impressed those who know compete against him. In fact, shortly after the injury, the twitter world blew up with NFL players including RGIII to the football program at arch rival Clemson tweeting support and prayers for Lattimore.  That support is testament to the respect his fellow gridiron competitors and fellow athletes in various sports have for Lattimore. In addition, it is that type of sportsmanship in athletics that help mold young men into solid citizens. This level of sportsmanship was exhibited in the below picture as the majority of the visiting Tennessee team met Lattimore at mid field to express their well wishes. I join them wishing Marcus Lattimore a full and speedy recovery, and sincerely hope he has many afternoons in football ahead of him.

Tennessee players join Gamecocks in display of sportsmanship.

Florida State welcomed the Duke Blue Devils to Tallahassee, who astonishingly sit atop the Coastal Division of the ACC.  Under Coach David Cutcliffe, Duke is very much improved and is bowl eligible. Although the Blue Devils have a strong passing attack, they are no match for the Seminoles. FSU was not sharp, as usual, but efficient enough to strike early and often in jumping on Duke early and controlling the rest of the way winning convincingly, 48-7. Christan Jones from Winter Park Lake Howell gets the game ball, and Devonta Freeman had a strong afternoon carrying the pigskin.  FSU now sits 8-1 with a bye week before taking on Virginia Tech on the road a week from Thursday in a huge game. Stranger things have happened, but the Seminoles need tons of help to get into the title game discussion, but they should forget thinking about that and take care of their own business.

Nebraska welcomed Michigan to Lincoln for the first time in a century, but with elusive signal caller Dennard Robinson of Deerfield Beach running the Wolverine offense, the task seemed daunting for a Blackshirt defense that has struggled mightily against quarterbacks with similar skills.  The 'Huskers opened with a defensive plan to keep Robinson in front of them, bending but not giving up explosive plays.  The philosophy was working well, and then disaster struck; for Michigan.  Robinson was knocked out the game with a nerve injury that was never elaborated upon for the television viewers.  With a backup freshman quarterback for Michigan, the game was over.  Martinez, hobbled himself, was efficient, made good decisions and helped generate more than enough offense to win, and was doing it before and after Robinson's injury.  Sean Fisher gets the game ball for the Blackshirts. This was an excellent win for the Big Red, although the national media may think it came only because of the Robinson injury, which is not so.  Nebraska goes to East Lansing Saturday controlling their destiny in their division, so the Rose Bowl is there for the taking.

Florida gave Georgia the game at the Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, fumbling and stumbling around some kind of bad awful.  But the Dawgs, and Jarvis Jones, stepped up and forced many of the Gator turnovers.  Now Georgia controls SEC destiny....The Aggies of Texas are pretty dog gone good, blasting Auburn, but the Aggies of Mississippi ran into a buzz saw named Alabama and got bombed....Ohio State whipped Penn State while Mich State dumped Wisconsin in the BIG...Giovani Bernard had a career day as UNC beat state rival N. C. State after blowing a 15 point lead.....Ohio was knocked from the unbeaten by Miami of Ohio, and Lou Holz alma mater Kent State worked over unbeaten Rutgers....UCLA outlasted Arizona State, and Arizona outlasted preseason title contender USC....Washington upset previously unbeaten Oregon State, and we did see that one coming....Notre Dame physically handled OU, and once again, the Sooners failed to stand up when it counted.  OU is soft or undisciplined or both, but Notre Dame overpowered them.....Minnesota pounded Purdue, who did not shake off the Ohio State loss....South Carolina shook off the aforementioned Lattimore injury to hold off Tennessee 38-35...Louisville held off Cincinnati in overtime...Clemson pounded Wake at Wake....Northwestern controlled Iowa....Texas barely won at Kansas, and the Longhorns have issues.....Ole Miss took out Arkansas....BYU roughed up Georgia Tech, and the Yellow Jacket season is lost.....UCF got a big win at Marshall and are in good C-USA shape.

Intolerable Actions Cannot Stand

Benghazi is the October surprise.

It is clear the Obama administration watched the attacks on our consulate in Benghazi live and turned down cries for help on numerous occasions during the attack which killed four American patriots, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

A caller to the Rush Limbaugh program, who identified himself as a retired Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel and Special Operations planner, gave a thorough account of how rules of response and engagement are meticulously set forth for events such as these.

Please take a listen to the phone caller on RUSH via Right Scoop:

As the caller to Rush points out, for help to be denied as an Ambassador in extreme peril, who is an extension of our President, is slain, the order would have override long standing protocol and would have had to come from the top.  The directive would turn out to be an order which prohibited help for our patriots fighting for their lives and left our countrymen to die.

In the United States of America, this is not who we are, and these intolerable actions cannot stand.

One has to wonder the motivation behind denying help to our fellow patriots, leaving them to die. It has been reported a various new outlets that members of the administration watched the events unfold LIVE.

Our President is charged first and foremost with keeping us safe, and the actions in this instance can only be described as a deliberate variance of our historical precedent and a cover up which makes Watergate look like ring around the rosie.

Radio talk show host Mark Levin is beside himself, calling for Obama to be pushed out of office sooner than later. Agreed. In fact, BAHL REVERE is calling for the immediate resignation of President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, both of whom failed miserably, deliberately in my opinion, to protect our people and who are on record lying repeatedly about the events.

Since there will more than likely be no immediate action taken against them, WE THE PEOPLE must act on our own in legally permissible action. Our first opportunity comes November 6, when we should send a resounding message in honor of our slain partriots with a Romney-Ryan landslide victory.

If It Weren't For Those Pesky Kids.

Something is very wrong.

This week on the campaign trail, President Obama has employed rhetoric explaining how trustworthy he is, telling a Florida audience that the election is about trust, that the voters know him, as opposed to the "Bullshitter" he insinuated Mitt Romney was. Are you kidding me?

This would be pure comedy if the stakes did not involve the electing of a president. However, this is not your historical election. Given the peril America finds herself in, of which the greater majority of fault lies, pun intended, on the doorstep of the current occupant of 1600, this election is critical to the grand experiment of America continuing.

It is very important for our citizenry to have trust in our President and his administration; to have confidence they are acting in the very best interest of our republic. Sadly, it must be reported that our current President, and his administration, cannot be trusted as they have been perpetrating lie after lie, distorting and distracting the truth presented to the American people.

Lying in a debate about a column Mitt Romney wrote regarding the bailout of GM is one thing, a topic even David Letterman is upset about, but the correspondence regarding the attacks on our consulate in Libya this past September 11 which resulted in the deaths of four American patriots, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, is not only despicable, but very dangerous.

A review of those attacks and the subsequent lies and cover up is beyond troubling. Given what has leaked out, one is left with many alarming questions on a range of topics, most significantly of which is, which side is our President on?

Glenn Beck does a thorough job in reviewing the events, and presenting many of the troubling questions which remain unanswered from those claim to be without question transparent and trustworthy. See Beck:

For years, Democrats screamed that in a Congressional authorized military action,vBush lied, people died. Now, in an act of war against the USA, four American patriots, including our Ambassador, were slain after cries for help were unanswered by the Obama administration. People died, but the Democrats are mute.

When we step beyond the hypocrisy of it all, we note that the administration has been dishonest from the very beginning regarding many subjects. However, the Libya tragedy transcends politics, and The White House has been hiding the truth and dodging accountability on the topic on a daily basis.

For my money, Beck is right on target. The Muslim Brotherhood and their representatives are much to cozy with our administration, and if Beck is right on the road he is traveling, extremely serious actions must be taken against those operating against the interests of the United States of America, no matter where and who that investigation leads to.

The media is criminally complicit, but where is a scraping pair of newsmen who dream of being the next Woodward and Bernstein?; Where is the statesman Senator who will take the risk and wage war with a corrupt administration? Why is it always the Becks and Brietbarts of this world who become Scooby Do and those pesky kids; pointing out the obvious and stopping those operating outside in darkness against the interests of America.

While Mitt Romney is ahead in the polls, we cannot count on his victory to sweep away the corruption. Investigative action must move forward immediately, part of the transparency Obama promised his administration would welcome and prioritize. Unless, of course, the administration does not want the citizenry to find out the issues of flexibility Obama promised Russia and who knows who else; if he is re-elected; after the pesky kids and ;Congressional leadership have no power to stop him.

Something is very wrong indeed, and the issues are deep and plentiful. Avenues to hold those accountable for wrong doing seem to be contracting, so time is of the essence.

Roughshod Romney Win Will True The Vote

Most fortunately, the election appears to be Mitt Romney's to lose. The internal polls, and the momentum, pending some unforeseen event, are strongly in the favor of team Romney-Ryan. Gov. Romney, who has demonstrated the knowledge, demeanor and leadership qualities to assume the duties of our President, has utilized his strong business background and economic knowledge to surge ahead over President Obama, who presided over the decline of America in various avenues.

With any election, particularly the race for President, there are always a few wildcards, including the famed October surprise. With apologies to Donald Trump and the dreadful Gloria Allred, the October surprise this time may in fact the unfolding events surrounding the terrorist act in Libya which resulted in the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

In the back of many a mind, however, is the possibility of voter fraud, which can take many forms.  Intimidation at the voting precinct, which we witnessed in Philadelphia with The Black Panthers and their clubs, dead people voting, nefarious activities of groups such as ACORN and improper campaign funding are many of the ways the voting tally can be compromised.

A recent editorial in Investors Business Daily questioned potential fraudulent fund raising activities associated with the Obama campaign.   Steve Bannon joined FOX Business News host Lou Dobbs for a further discussion on this topic; Take a listen:

Don't worry, however, because the United Nations is sending delegations to make sure our elections are free from shenanigans. What a joke, although many are not laughing. Masters of corruption and money laundering, the UN eagerly accepts opportunity to promote their anti-American global governance agenda to all bad actors and evil dictators with a hearing aid.

Dennis Miller
Not withstanding the blue hat brigade, there are many avenues us concerned citizens can take to help ensure the system functions properly.  Among the many doing great work in this regard is author and columnist John Fund and True The Vote, who effort to prohibit election fraud.  Although many instances are regrettably beyond the control of citizens like you and I, with the recount in Minnesota electing Al Franken Senator coming to mind. However, we can take action in many ways, including becoming a poll watcher?

I think I speak for all Americans that we seek a fair electoral process where candidates win on the battlefield of ideas.  Protection of the integrity and legitimacy of our electoral process is vital to the continuance of our free society.

I hope the Romney victory is substantial enough to overcome all the fraudulent efforts that will be embarked upon, and I think it will.

Adults Only

Tonight is the third and final debate between Gov. Mitt Romney and President Obama. Although momentum is expanding for Romney, the mainstream media calls the election an essential toss up, so the debate will be very important. The topic of the debate tonight is foreign policy.

Certainly, Americans are thrilled that Osama Bin Laden was killed and that many drone attacks have taken out many al-Qaeda leaders. However, employing any sound assessment, foreign policy under Obama is a mess. Right out of the gate, the policies went south due to the ideology of President Obama, which seems to be at odds with many of the long held positions of Uncle Sam. Check out the following:

*Immediately, clearly a front man on the blame America first team, Obama embarked on an apology tour, which was was nothing short of despicable.

*In picking who to and who not to help overthrow, Obama welcomed in the Arab Spring, which has failed miserably and has "surprisingly" ushered the Muslim Brotherhood into increasing power.

*The treatment of Israel by our anti-colonialist President has been appalling, and very dangerous having emboldened our enemies.

*The events surrounding the death of Ambassador Stevens and three other patriots in Bengahzi has been astounding. The administration is either extremely incompetent or has engaged in a cover up and has been lying to the American public. I will take gun running for $1000 please. Although the media has not fully engaged the story, these events are beyond troubling will continue to unfold.

Blogposts galore could be written on each of those topics, but a national security issue which should come up this evening places America in a very dangerous positions, and that is our economic position.

When Ronald Reagan talked about peace through strength, he was not only talking about military strength, but economic strength as well. A strong foreign policy must be based on a strong economy.

With President Obama expanding entitlements in effort to crash the system and redistribute wealth, liabilities have been placed on our economy that when coupled with declining tax receipts and increasing energy costs, has placed America in peril.

With all these issues bearing down upon us, Obama seems more concerned with his celebrity status rather than focusing on governing and fixing the problems. In the campaign, Obama has not given us detail about his plan for the next four years, rather has fallen back to the Alinsky methods demonizing your opponent.

As Obama has said, "And that's to be expected, because if you don't have any fresh ideas, then you use stale tactics to scare voters. If you don't have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from. You make a big election about small things".

Obama doesn't and he has. The war on women, throwing Grandma over the cliff and Big Bird are certainly very small things against tens of extremely significant and perilous problems.

In consideration of the mounting issues crippling our country, I hope and pray that America sees these men for who they are.  One man is a principled, God fearing individual who seeks freedom based on free market principles and respects the history and founding principles of America.  The other man seeks class warfare, is an elitist who finds government solutions superior to free enterprise, is a citizen of the world who finds the exceptionalism of America offensive and is enacting policies designed to contract our economic power through the redistribution of wealth.

With America on the brink, it is far time to put an adult back in the Oval Office, who is committed to making life better for all Americans rather than hanging out with celebrities, circling the talk show circuit and improving the golf handicap.

Thompson Unconquered

Chris Thompson (photo Mike Ehrmann)
The news out of Tallahassee is what many of us had feared; that the season, and career at FSU, is over for senior running back Chris Thompson.  FSU coach Jimbo Fisher announced the news this morning, citing an ACL tear in the knee.  As Tomahawk Nation reported, Thomson "had carried the ball 91 times for 687 yards for an impressive 7.5 yards per rush" this season.  Thompson was the heart of this team, a team leader who had the respect of all those who know him.  After breaking his back at Wake Forest in game three a year ago, the perseverance Thompson exhibited coming back was infectious.  Thompson will be missed, but although he has an injured knee at the moment, he will always remain one of the beloved Unconquered!

At Evanston, Illinois within eye shot of Lake Michigan, a sea of red invaded Ryan Field as the Nebraska Cornhuskers, in desperate need of a win, took on a good Northwestern team. Trailing at the half, with the biggest ovation from the Husker faithful was to salute the fielding of a punt without fumbling the ball away, the Husker season, and perhaps much more, seemed destined for collapse. Fumbles, missed blocking assignments and costly penalties, all signs of a lack of  discipline for which the coaching staff was responsible and would have been held accountable, were the rule rather than the exception. The Big Red went down 28-16 with about 9 minutes remaining, and Pelini was hot on the sideline, nothing compared to the inferno in Husker Nation. Then, Taylor Martinez bailed out Boo Pelini, leading a comeback for the ages through the air as the 'Huskers won 29-28. After the game, all were emotional, reasonable considering Pelini may have been among the very few out of work due to something other than the policies of President Obama. The trend was spiraling  downward, but after the Martinez led comeback, new life and perhaps a shifting of the mental and political winds may get behind this team which controls their destiny in winning the Big Ten. On Saturday, the defense played well and the Big Red outgained Northwestern 543 to 301, and it is reasonable that Nebraska can win out. Nebraska is their own worst enemy, and if mental discipline can be gained, eliminating the aforementioned issues, a Rose Bowl berth awaits. We are fixing to find out.

For about 20 years, nothing was more important in national championships discussions than Miami-Florida State. Unfortunately, for a myriad of reasons, although it remains meaningful statewide, much of the luster has been lost. Certainly, on the field performance, issues with the Hurricane fan base and Miami moving away from the old Orange Bowl have been significant contributors. However, it remains a rivalry with plenty of top athletes on either side. Therefore, when a team commits errors a plenty, it provides a recipe for defeat. Florida State fumbled, botched a punt and had numerous missed assignments early on, and you had to wonder if FSU had ever been here before. Finally, and I mean finally, a steady running game wore down the 'Canes and FSU won easily, 33-20. It was weird, the game was scoreboard close for much of the night but you thought FSU was winning by three touchdowns, accurately surmised by ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit The Seminoles have a very strong team, but they play to the level of the opponent, are not well coached and open themselves up for defeat much too often. You have to wonder how many points the 'Noles would rack up if they unshackled themselves. Defensively, FSU is a s good as anyone, but they are an offensive enigma, with an extremely talented onslaught of elite receivers, an improving and deep line and a stable of top notch running backs.  A statement needed to be made if the Seminoles had any hope of getting back in the BCS title mix, but even though this was a rivalry game, the Seminoles again failed to meet expectations.

Running backs Rex Burkhead of Nebraska and Chris Thompson of Florida State injured knees, and both injuries looked serious. Both of these players are heart and soul team leaders, and I am hoping for the best for each of them.  Thompson is the FSU MVP for 2012 at this point.

It is amazing to note that Auburn, just two years removed from a perfect season and a National Championship, is 1-6 and 0-5 in the SEC, and the fires must be spreading on the plains....Texas, outstanding on defense in past seasons, is seemingly giving up 50 a game....Taking nothing away from the Florida Gators, with an emerging offense and a championship defense, South Carolina gave the Gators three touchdowns with ineptitude, impossible to overcome in The Swamp for the best of college football outfits....Offensively, Oregon simply puts enormous pressure on defenses playing fast and utilizing every inch of the gridiron; and some think the philosophy is the future of football.....Duke upset North Carolina, and no, we are not talking hoops, and considering the job David Cutcliffe has done there one has to wonder what Ole Miss was thinking firing him....Clemson thumped Va. Tech, and the Hokies decade long string of 10 win seasons seems over....Maryland doinked the goalpost missing a last second field goal and fell to visiting NC State, while Michigan hit a chip shot FG to nip visiting Michigan State as it seems the Big Ten is full of slightly above average teams....Purdue, who historically has given Ohio State trouble, has to be sick. The Boilermakers had the Buckeyes beat, but with under two minutes to, played not to lose, got tied, and then lost in overtime; poor late game coaching......West Virginia got blasted by Kansas State in Morgantown, showing the Mounties to be a pretender and the Wildcats a contender.....Where is Phil Fulmer when you need him? On this third Saturday of October Alabama blasted Tennessee, and have undefeated Mississippi State next week....Georgia got by a very poor Kentucky team, and limps into the Worlds Largest Cocktail Party already hungover.....A&M's Johnny Manziel, "Johnny Football", continues to amaze..RGIII is in the NFL, but Nick Florence of Baylor is not too shabby himself...OU welcomes Notre Dame, who escaped BYU at home..A few weeks back we questioned why Kirk Ferentz of Iowa is so well respected, and then the Hawks dumped Michigan State, but last night they were blasted by Penn State, at home, and one has to wonder if he will be on the way out.... College Gameday introduced America to Tarin Moses, the girlfriend of Gator quarterback Jeff Driskel of Orlando Hagerty and even this Seminole was quite impressed... Stephan Taylor helped Stanford run over Cal in the Big Game and my vote for the Heisman would go to Collin Klein of K-State.

Knowing Kennedy

As anticipated, the Vice Presidential debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan was sure interesting. What most took away from it was the Paul Ryan seemed logical and measured while Joe Biden came across practically unhinged, with excessive laughter and smirking, a condescending demeanor and incessant interrupting.

Certainly, the behavior Biden exhibited was not becoming someone who holds such a high position in our government; our citizenry should demand more. Media across the spectrum have weighed in unfavorably for Biden, from his lack of truthfulness in Investors Business Daily to his rude behavior on NBC's Saturday Night Live.

The RNC wasted no time in releasing a hard hitting video ad:

Even though there have been some great lines over the years, Vice Presidential debates typically do not move the needle very much in terms of the outcome of the general election.

Say it ain't so Joe! Certainly, fresh in our minds was the strong performance of Sarah Palin in 2008, and who can forget Lloyd Bentsen catching Dan Quayle in stage fright after his ill advised quote in comparison of John F. "Jack" Kennedy.

In the recent VP debate, Biden seem poised to grab a "Lloyd Bentsen moment", as Glenn Beck posted, but failed in his effort in trying to tag Ryan as attempting to cast himself as comparable to former President Kennedy.

No such luck for cranky Uncle Joe.  As it turns out, Biden was wrong, again, and Ryan was correct.  While JFK seems off limits for debate comparison for some reason, I would like to indulge Biden and have a conversation about the beloved former President.  Who, if anyone, and whose policies are similar to the arena of ideas and philosophies Kennedy advocated?

It is not Obama and Biden, as we noted it would not be back in 2008.

I understand how so many in my parents generation, my parents included, held great admiration for President Kennedy, similar in many ways how a greater majority of my generation, inclusive of myself, hold President Reagan in such high regard.

Certainly, in the era of televisions becoming widespread, there was the whole Camelot phenomenon that enhanced the romance of the young President and his beautiful family.  Unfortunately, on a dreadful day in Dallas in November of 1963, the dream was over and the innocence of the country was lost. In seconds.

One would have to imagine that their infatuation and support of President Kennedy was largely due to agreeing with a large degree of the policies President Kennedy advocated. We can begin with perhaps the most famous quote from JFK, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country", which cannot be regarded as a ringing endorsement of expansive government entitlements.

Under the Obama administration, excessive regulation and taxation, increasing stimulus and expansive entitlements have been stunning in their advance, in no way resembling the positions JFK took with regard to this type of governance.

President Kennedy fought for tax cuts, noting they are an integral part of creating a growing and thriving economy.  While JFK thought, correctly, that free market capitalism requires a base of regulatory foundation, economies function best when those are not variable and are held to a minimum.

In addition, and perhaps most importantly, Kennedy wanted to help create an environment where the citizens of America can pursue happiness, where hard work is rewarded with market driven pay scales allowing workers opportunities for advancement; morally, financially and ethically.  Kennedy was not a supporter of an expansion of entitlements, which creates a culture of dependency which restricts the freedom and incentive of the individual, robbing them of their identity.

Some say Ronald Reagan would be unable to be elected in the GOP of today.  Hogwash!  Reagan would be leading the opposition against the Progressives; in both parties.  In fact, the man who would not be elected in his own party, is John F. Kennedy.

In response to the disagreement over the truth in the debate, Western Free Press grabbed some old video and presented the answers.  Take a thorough listen:

Sadly, when reviewing many of the Democrats in support of Obama and his platform, it would be news to them that their beloved JFK would an opponent. I encourage those Camelot Democrats to expand their knowledge in getting to know Kennedy beyond the images associated with Camelot.  In his own words.

Don't tell Uncle Joe, but maybe Paul Ryan is the man who can carry the JFK torch? Just sayin.

Signals of Stupidity

They are very entertaining, and extremely alarming, segments on many a talk radio and news oriented television programs. Sean Hannity has his segment called "Man On The Street", Glenn Beck has "Moron Trivia", calling convenience store clerks from Monday Night Football cities to predict the winner and Bill O'Reilly has "Waters World", with Jesse Waters interviewing citizens on the issues of the day. The King of All Media, Howard Stern, recently made news interviewing Obama supporters.

Without question, idiots are at large. On The Glenn Beck Radio Program this morning, Glenn, Pat & Stu listen to a supposed caller to a Fargo, North Dakota radio station, who may in fact be the biggest idiot on the planet. You decide:

Nobody could be this stupid, so Glenn must have been pulling our leg. Maybe the left has finally caught Glenn misrepresenting the facts; who knows?

At any rate, there is no doubt there are millions of absolute idiots hitting the voting booth, and Obama is working very hard to secure the vote of each and every one of them. These are many of the same people who are the beneficiaries of the slew of entitlements delivered by our government.

In NASCAR terms, we are in the lead with the laps are winding down, and we need to hit our points and bring the car home.

A Romney victory is there for the taking, but we must retain our intensity. We cannot allow the ill informed village idiots to stand in our way.  All we do now, is win, and win we must.

Sunday Night Song #007

Earlier this month, a historic milestone was noted, as 50 years ago Britain, and America, were introduced to two cultural phenomenons which are among the fabric of our societies.

Britain's Channel 4 has a full report on Bond and The Beatles at 50 years old:

From Ian Flemings "Dr. No" to The Beatles "Love Me Do", James Bond and The Fab Four began a historical and timeless rise in film and music which continues today.

For agent 007, with gadgets galore, fine women and cars, our favorite spy has kept us riveted over the years. No matter which of the five gentlemen who have played the part, from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, Bond has been an intriguing figure captivating our fascination battling evil across the globe.  Bond movies have been thrilling and have advanced with the times in seamless fashion.  The 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall, is due out this fall.

Over on Abbey Road, a revolution in music unparalleled over time began behind the unrivaled musical writing tandem of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The Beatles, although only lasting approximately 8 years as group, wrote and performed a lifetimes worth of timeless music. Individual efforts by each member of the group reached the top of the charts, and without question, they easily remain the greatest collection of musical talent ever assembled.

With London recently hosting the Olympics, "Bond" was able to interact with The Queen in welcoming the world to London. Beatle Paul McCartney closed out the ceremonies with a strong performance, bookending the games with the best of Great Britain.

James Bond and The Beatles have a many linkages, but for me the most notable is relevant to the first Bond movie I saw, with my Aunt taking me to see Live and Let Die.  I will never forger seeing Bond jump that street in his Glastron boat with the 135HP Evinrude!

I will also never forget seeing Paul McCartney perform Bond theme song Live and Let Die, tonight's Sunday Night Song, in person.  With a common date of announcement to the public, it is only fitting the top Bond theme song was performed by Beatle Paul McCartney, "Live and Let Die".  Enjoy!

VOTES:  Louisiana Tech, Nebraska, Northwestern, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio, Wisconsin, Arizona, Boise State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, UCLA, Penn State, Washington, Iowa State and Baylor.

Florida State hosted a struggling Boston College team in Tallahassee for Parents Weekend and opened up an aerial assault, trouncing the Eagles 51-7.  On the surface, it look quite good as a rebound for the devastating last second defeat at North Carolina State last week.  Although several Seminoles played well, there were glitches that formidable teams would have taken advantage of.  EJ Manuel looked wonderful much of the night, but also had some very poor throws over the middle, an area he continues to show weakness in.  The running game performed well, but left you seeking more.  On a good note, more players got time, and many made the most of their opportunities.  James Wilder, Jr. has top level potential, and Mario Edwards, Jr. got in the mix.  When the younger players got in, I kept seeing Reggie Northrup making plays, and I was glad to see Clint Trickett get some series.  This was a sound win over a weak team, and now comes the test of a hated rivalry as FSU travels to south Florida for a Saturday night tilt with the Miami Hurricanes.  FSU has been handling Miami over the last few years, and should do so again.  But in rivalry games, particularly this one, should have is often a phrase for the following Sunday.  If FSU has any hope of being relevant nationally in the BCS title discussions, they must throttle Miami.  Notre Dame and Kansas State, both ranked above FSU, did so, 52-13 and 41-3 respectively.  Whatever Miami has to offer will be seen Saturday night. For FSU, it is time to step up.  It is our time.

Thankfully, after the ass kicking Nebraska took a week ago at Ohio State, they had the weekend off.  Hopefully, the coaches made effective use of the time, for a loss at Northwestern next Saturday could cost many, if not all of them, their jobs.  GBR!

There were winds swirling at some 40MPH down in Lubbock Saturday afternoon, and the high flying aerial attack of West Virginia had no answers as they got hammered 49-14 by Texas Tech, who had guns up!.....In the Red River Rivalry at the Texas State Fair OU slobber knockered Texas in the Cotton Bowl.  Whoa nellie was this decisive.  Defensively, Texas was pushed around and had every offensive weakness exposed.  In front of a national television audience on ABC, this was an embarrassment for those in burnt orange......Florida made the plays it had to, disposing of Vanderbilt on the road.  With South Carolina coming to The Swamp, a huge opportunity exists for the Gators.  Carolina will be angry, having been disposed of in Death Valley down in Baton Rouge by a rough LSU team who surprisingly controlled the line of scrimmage....With lightning bolts firing, God tried to call of the mugging of Mizzou by Alabama in Columbia.  No such luck; 42-10 BAMA.....UNC won at Miami and has a top notch player in RB Giovanni Bernard, who is from south Florida.... USC is still not USC, but they won at Washington....Stanford almost tied in overtime, with a controversial call negating a tying overtime touchdown.  What can you say; it was the luck of the Irish...Duke got out 20-0 over Va. Tech, but lost 41-20....Iowa upended Michigan State, and hopes for a strong season in East Landing have collapsed.... Wisconsin seems to have settled on a quarterback, and behind Monte Ball, whipped Purdue.....Michigan and Denard Robinson showed that on occasions, the Wolverines can be stout.....Ohio State, off their big win versus Nebraska, survived against pedestrian Indiana.....TCU played well in defeating a sound Baylor squad....Oregon State keeps on rolling....A&M, behind brilliant young signal caller Johnny Manziel, held off an offensive La. Tech squad 59-57.  If only Manziel could play on defense for the Aggies...Auburn is 1-5, just two years removed from a national title, while it is amazing to see how far Colorado has fallen just 20 years from a national title.....Arkansas pummeled a very poor Kentucky team in game shortened by weather....Virginia, with new God awful looking orange helmets, is performing very poorly....K-State survived in Ames against an Iowa State team much better than you may think...Does Illinois wish they had Ron Zook back?...

Beano Cook (photo LJS)
Legendary ESPN College Football analyst Beano Cook passed away this week.   Beano, who brought his blue collar style to analyzing the games of the day, often reflected to a blustery afternoon in 1953 where Notre Dame and his beloved Pitt  Panthers tangled.  Cook helped bring younger viewers in touch with the lore of the past, keeping the history of the color and pageantry of college football relevant in a new age on the gridiron. Half of the time you would just chuckle when the obligatory reference of  Minnesota winning at Michigan 1956 was presented by Cook.  Beano was the guy who would tell you that the school with the most NFL passing yards was Purdue, about those great Pitt teams in the 1930's and who played for the old oaken bucket.  Perhaps the most famous quip of the witty Cook was noting that being the head football coach at Notre Dame was "the third toughest job in America after mayor of New York and President of the United States," ESPN analyst Lee Corso, as reported by CBS Sports, said "Beano was a unique human being and he was college football at ESPN. I am indebted to him. Beano was a tremendous help at the start of my television career and I would not be where I am today without him," Beano Cook was a fantastic ambassador of the sport of college football, and his unique analysis, particularly from a historical perspective, was invaluable.  God Bless you Beano, RIP

No Rattling Ryan

Tonight, we have the VP debate in Kentucky between Vice President Joe Biden and GOP VP candidate Paul Ryan, (R:WI). It should be interesting.

Vice President Joe Biden has been a savvy politician for over 40 years, providing gaffe after gaffe along the way. Biden claims to be the best friend of blue collar workers having grown up in Scranton, PA, but in actual fact he has never held a private sector position and has no clue about the hard work those blue collar workers engage in.

Even so, Biden will seem like you favorite Uncle, all the while hitting you with little digs. Although many fear he can come away with a victory tonight, and boy howdy does the Obama campaign need one after the absolute debacle of the last debate when Romney exposed Obama for the lacking empty suit he is, it won't happen.

Sarah Palin, labeled the biggest idiot on the planet by the left, got the better of Biden in '08, and now comes Paul Ryan, who has the entire budget committed to memory. Beyond that, Ryan, one of our favorite people, has complete command of conservatism, and free market capitalism.

Contrary to Biden, Ryan knows what creates prosperity, and that is not government. Promoting these idea and explaining the concepts to the American people will no doubt win the day, and Ryan can do this better than just about anyone.

Among many most troubling concerns of the American people, the election seems to be about free stuff versus free markets. Ryan can hit Biden hard on the concept of opportunity costs and explain to Biden, and America, there is no free lunch.

As long as Ryan comes off knowledgeable and in control, even if Biden attacks, Ryan will appear to the voting public as the man they would hire to return America to prosperity. There is no rattling Ryan, the man carrying the truth.

For Biden, I think he will employ the same tactic he implemented against Palin, where he does not win but shelters himself from doing any damage. Ryan will hammer the abysmal record of Obama, and Biden, and that topic hits right between the chicken and corn on the kitchen table across the fruited plain.

In these depressing economic times, we can only hope for a few laughs from Biden, before we add him to the unemployment line on November 6.

Are You Justified?

A recent editorial in The New York Times was quite an eye opener.

The piece, by Steve Rattner, titled Beyond Obamacare, began with the following sentence: WE need death panels.

Are these the death panels Sarah Palin warned us about?  Not necessarily according to Rattner, but as he puts it, "unless we start allocating health care resources more prudently", the costs of Medicare will explode.

Instead of praising Palin for getting it right, which she routinely does, Rattner places blame on her for ranting about death panels which forced their elimination from the bill of a provision to offer end-of-life consultations.

If it were not for Palin, the issue of death panels would have been buried in the 2700 pages elected officials failed to read, otherwise known as The Affordable Heatlh Care Act, or, Obamacare.  Remember, the bill we have to pass to find out what is in it.

Rattner takes the obligatory swipe at Rep. Paul Ryan, (R:WI), who put forth his plan to save Medicare as part of the Ryan Roadmap for American, and praises Obama' efforts in curtailing costs when in actuality, every cost component associated with Obamacare has risen.

As economist and columnist Thomas Sowell of The Hoover Institute, and American jewell, so eloquently put it, “It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, medication and a government bureaucracy to administer universal health care.”.

Doing an end run around the truth misrepresenting the thought process for seniors as the end of life approaches is immoral and plain evil.  Obamacare does in fact call for a panel of unelected technocrats placed in position to ration health care services to seniors base on a set of criteria "to be determined by the Secretary".

Will the Obamacare death panels take a similar position to famed playwright and Fabian Socialist George Bernard Shaw where seniors will be required to justify themselves?

Will those who cannot make a compelling case for themselves be denied adequate health care options as their life comes to an end?  Is this part of an effort to decrease population as a vehicle of social and economic justice.  Who will hold the unelected technocrats accountable? Typically, governments exercising these levels of control over the citizenry without accountability have abused power and have unleashed tyranny upon them.

The entire health care system is broke because of governmental interference in free markets.  Certainly, the principles our country was founded upon ask our citizenry to care for those who cannot care for themselves. Many avenues, from private donations to charities to churches, lead the way in this effort.

Individuals should create estate plans, complete with funding, to dictate how they should live their final years, with participation if desired from their family members. Unless the individual seeks governmental assistance, the government should not be involved in determining these end of life decisions.

The public sector can play a role of partnership in many areas of caring for the poor, but when the government seizes control and builds upon expanding entitlements in an effort create a culture of dependency, the residual is alarmingly negative.  Most importantly off the top, the individual is robbed of their identity.  In addition, unless population decreases (perhaps a goal of the progressives), taxes must be raised to accomodate increases in costs, unless of course care is rationed and death panels are insituted.  Raising taxes decreases economic growth and limits excess captial, which would usually leave government with less, as the Laffer Curve demonstrates.

Obama and his team have admitted Obamacare is a step toward a single payer plan. Ronald Reagan warned us that governmental health care was a vehicle to socialism, and he was right.  A glimpse of what happens when governments cannot deliver promised entitlements can be seen live now in Europe.

The way for America to avoid becoming a broken society like we see in Europe is to decrease entitlements and the creation of dependencey of its citizens by employing free market princples, where work is rewarded with fair wages with expanding opportunites for advancement, helping the citzenry regain their independence and identity.

Free market capitalism remains the best path to prosperity.  In an effort return America to prosperity, the first step would be to elect Mitt Romney as our next President, and begin the repeal of Obamacare and the death panels associated with it.

No individaul justification needed.

A Level of Importance Above Football

Florida Is Romney Country

Mitt Romney
On a college football Saturday with threatening skies, over 10,000 patriots, surprisingly confirmed in the Orlando Sentinel, with many sporting team colors, gathered in the Central Florida community of Apopka for a Romney Victory Rally.

Mitt, joined by his wife Ann, invigorated the crowd discussing the four year legacy of failure of the Obama administration and the pinpoint plans he has to return our country to prosperity.  Rep. Artur Davis, (R:AL), senatorial candidate Connie Mack, Florida CFO Jeff Atwater, Dan Webster and fellow Orlando Boone graduate and state senate candidate Andy Gardiner also spoke.

The entire program can be seen by clicking the following link:  Romney Apopka Rally.

Warming up the crowd before the rally was country music star Andy Griggs, who rather than rooting on his LSU Tigers on Satruday in Gainesville, found his time better served to join up with the Romney Victory Tour for the evening. Our group missed a good portion of the Florida State game, one we lost as huge favorites, as well.

There are very few things more important than the color and pageantry of college football Saturday here in the south, but helping to elect Mitt Romney the 45th President of the United States is one of them.

For Sunday Night Song, we will give a shout out to Andy for coming out to help us at the rally by posting his classic hit, "You Won't Ever Be Lonely".   Enjoy.

Florida State, in a game eerily similar to a late home loss to Virginia last year, got out to a dominating lead, 16-0 at the half, only to sleepwalk the second half into getting beat at the last second after a series of miscues, penalties and lack of execution.  As Reece Davis of ESPN put it, the loss was inexplicable and inexcusable.  Oh it can be explained, by accurately placing blame where is serves to be placed; horrendous coaching by Jimbo Fisher.  While Fisher has done an exemplary job in several facets after assuming the head coaching position at FSU, he is a horrendous game day coach and gave this game away.  And yes, it is inexcusable. Therefore, I am putting Jimbo Fisher on notice. With the high level of talent we have at FSU, losing to a pedestrian team like NC State, and yes Virginia a year ago, is a pattern that cannot be tolerated.  NC State had 68 first half yards, including 20 in the first five plays of the game.  FSU stunk it up on offense in the second half, calling idiotic plays and failing to come close to utilizing the talent on the field.  EJ Manuel, who showed glimpses this season of improvement from years past, reverted to making poor decisions and failing to move the offense.  Defensively, crossing pattern after crossing pattern, many on 3rd and 4th and long, doomed the 'Noles who made no adjustments on what was obvious to everyone.  And finally, after suffering a blocked punt which led to a late touchdown for USF a week ago, this did not get taken care of in the week of practice and the Seminoles got one blocked again, at a crucial time late in the game.  These are inexcusable errors for a coaching staff and team thought to be among the elite.  It is their fault and they need to be held accountable.  One last note; Fisher needs to start giving Clint Trickett a bunch more playing time.

Nebraska, meanwhile, got crushed at Ohio State, assisting the Buckeyes at every chance turning the ball over deep inside their own territory, throwing pick sixes, fumbling and allowing punt returns for touchdowns.  Nebraska gave no consideration in taking care of the football.  Meanwhile, defensively, stop Braxton Miller and you beat Ohio State. Miller ran for 186, simply mind boggling for a team supposed to be coached by defensive gurus.  Pelini was recently quoted that "Contrary to what you guys think, I haven’t forgotten how to coach defense and how to stop the run ".  Forget about it.  That may have been true in the past, but nothing got stopped last night with Ohio State pouring on 63.  This was embarrassing, again, and something has to happen.  Pelini has won nine games each year at Nebraska, so firing a coach with that record seems not reasonable.  But getting your ass kicked on national television yelling at everyone on the sideline is getting old, and as The Omaha World Herald puts it, sad.  Nebraska, after the retirement announcement of Tom Osborne, has a new athletic director in Shawn Eichorst, who comes to NU after a short stint at Miami via Wisconsin. It should be noted things are not well at Miami, with the 'Canes playing home games in front of 25K and crushing looming sanctions coming from the NCAA.  It seems probable the transgressions down there took place before Eichorst's tenure; however, I am nowhere near convinced he is the right man for the job.  Given the consideration of a change at football coach which must be engaged, I find the entire situation most troubling.  Pelini says he can't put his finger on what is wrong, but I hope he figures it out.  I would start with attacking instead of reading on defense, and finding the discipline to limit the crushing penalties and protection of the football on offense, the latter a fundamental element of coaching, which is clearly failing.

While Florida State is not back, Florida may be, drowning LSU at the Swamp.  Amazing the issues LSU has, but Florida is gaining confidence and has a championship defense.  Look out!....Michigan pummeled Purdue, a team many had penciled in to the Big Ten title game....UCLA got bumped at Cal, and you wonder what happened to this team....Missouri suspended a handful of players for pot (what a bunch of idiots) and lost to Vanderbilt. Welcome to the SEC....I have never been an Urban Meyer fan, and that holds true today....A&M's loss to Florida looking better by the week....Arkansas gathered themselves and stomped Auburn on the plains...Miss State is undefeated but not that good.... South Carolina destroyed Georgia, and I did not see that coming, but the beat down was nothing but thorough....Clemson is an enigma.... West Virgina had plenty of O with Geno Smith directing and got enough defense to win at Texas while Oklahoma looked good in dismantling Texas Tech; time for the Red River War.....Duke thumped Virginia, and they are having their best season in moons....Teams Florida State has beaten have not looked good, which may have been a precursor to what happened at Raleigh....Sparty almost lost at Indiana... Notre Dame blasted the Hurricanes in honor of local friend Pete, who we lost this past week....Not sure how good Oregon State is, but Oregon is really good....UCF can run the table from here....USF was not into it, and got beat by Temple.

Romney Rocked!

With apologies to global warming, or climate change or whatever it masquerades as, the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people was dressed down and exposed in rather stunning fashion as Mitt Romney pummeled President Obama in the first 2012 presidential debate in Denver last evening. America took notice, as the television audience was huge with FOX News Channel leading the way, as Romney had a tremendous performance.

As great as Romney was, Obama was equally as bad, seeming as a pundit put to endure rather than engage in vigorous debate. Then again, with the abysmal record Obama possesses, there is extreme difficulty in forming strong defensive game plan, provided facts are of concern. They are not with Obama.

I had hoped going in an opportunity would present itself to expose Obama for the fraud he is, and although Romney took a different path than I envisioned, the result was surgical and perhaps lethal. Obama is an arrogant as been coddled his entire adult life. While that is of no concern while tooling around organizing idiots in Chicago, it is extremely dangerous as President of the United States.

Given the pathetic nature of the media, Obama has spent his entire presidency free from expected checks and balances. Questioning of his disastrous policies from a serious individual was long overdue, and when faced with these discussions, Obama did not quite like it.

I had hoped anyone who watched the debate not drinking the Kool-Aid would recognize the easy choice of who the best equipped man to lead America back to prosperity was. My wish was granted, as Mitt Romney easily demonstrated he Obama smothered at every turn.

Unfortunately, the Obama crowd will strike like a cornered snake, and ethics is of no concern. Followers of Saul Alinsky and his "Rules for Radicals", they will aim to keep power by any means necessary, and they are not kidding.

Buckle up!

Character to Clobber Charlatan

Tonight, with the first of three presidential debates, the opportunity to save America begins as Gov. Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama square off.

Saving America Begins Tonight
While the pundits, campaigns and voting public are looking for a variety of different things, I am hoping something becomes very clear to the voting public; the a revealing of the true self.

President Obama
Regrettably, President Obama consistently portrays a shadow of himself to the American people.  Often, he speaks of policies or goals only to change them outside of a public presence with seemingly little but very significant changes.  Straw man arguments are routinely presented which bear no real sense of reality.  Obama has failed to be candid regarding his associations and his true feeling on racism and the transformation of wealth, as we have learned this week if not previously known in a pair of newly released videos.

If the true Barack Obama reveled himself to the American public, he would be most fortunate to garner 20%  of the vote.  Americans do not appreciate arrogant folks who mouth off about accomplishments that in actual fact have been dismal failures.  And certainly, liars are found intolerable, and we need look no further than the recent events in Libya, where we have four dead patriots, this week for a example of that.

One can only hope Mitt Romney can cleverly force a mistake this evening in which the shadow self of Obama is peeled away revealing the true man, who is not admirable.

Mitt Romney
Gov. Romney does not carry himself in shadow of who he really is, which is a bright, caring, charitable and honest individual.  While many have issues with particular policies of Romney, and he has shifted stances on a few issues considered by many as significant, he is a man grounded man guided by God.

As such, tonight I hope Romney does not try to be something he is not.  There is no question that Obama needs to be hit hard on his devastating policies and his lack of focus, or inability, to employ answers to the many issues hanging around Americas neck.

But, Obama will no doubt present several misrepresentations of the facts and tell many a falsehood, and Romney needs to be prepared to surgically refute the lies while maintaining a positive and confident, but respectful, manner.  Easier said then done.

Since Obama will no doubt be a shadow of his true self this evening while Romney will present his true self, I have no doubt America will conclude the evening recognizing a clear answer on who is best equipped to lead America back to prosperity.

That would be the man with exemplary character, his true self, Governor Mitt Romney.

Don't Guess: Go Allen West

Thanks to a redrawn district in south Florida resulting in a heavily Democratic constituency, Congressman Allen West (R:FL), is in a dogfight to hold his seat in Congress. West is an outspoken conservative who often rattles cages in Washington, and thankfully, this former Army Lieutenant Colonel does not suffer progressives kindly. Just my kind of guy!
Patrick Murphy is the Democrat attempting to unseat West, and he has been given full support from the Democratic Leadership, as unseating West has been considered a priority.  The Wikipedia page for Murphy ( I recognize Wikipedia can rival NBC News for lack of integrity ) describes him as a graduate of the University of Miami whose disgust with the Tea Party led him to switch from a Mitt Romney supporter to a Democrat who supported Obamacare, is pro LGBT rights and favors higher taxes.  Not my kind of guy!

According to the Murphy campaign, many of his views do not mesh well with the progressives associated with the Democratic leadership, suggesting to me his opinions and principles are flexible and not cast in stone.  For example, Murphy indicates he supports expanding job creation and promoting business growth, something the Obama administration has been stifling through excessive regulation, taxation, Obamacare and economic uncertainty.

Murphy has some past personal issues as well.  Certainly, many of us have had our moments, myself included, although most without an arrest record.  It sure looks like Murphy has turned the page and is now a fine upstanding citizen; good for him!

Murphy is hitting West with falsities in the campaign, most notably on two issues; job creation and women's rights.  Not withstanding the barriers to job growth implemented by President Obama, under Gov. Rick Scott, Florida is creating jobs, although an unacceptable rate due to the attacks on small business.  In addition, there is no attack on women as put forth by Obama, and the principles West stands for, inclusive of the promotion of family values and the promotion of free market principles, are partners in success for women and their families.

West has released a stunning ad detailing the commitment Allen West has to America, in contrast to a emerging you man who continues to find his footing regarding the direction our nation should embark upon.  No such wavering in decision making from West:

Well, there you have it.

A proud conservative and American patriot, Allen West is highly representative of the individual we need in Washington, a leader who calls balls and strikes and has little toleration for governmental bureaucrats who seek to transform American values and principles decreasing individual freedom along the way.

Among my favorite people in Washington, BAHL offers full support for Congressman Allen West.

Educational Failures an Exponential Problem

Last week, The King of All Media, Howard Stern, sent a staff member out on the street to check in with some Obama supporters. Stern discovered many already know; that we have a sizable uneducated portion of the electorate that extends far from a level of embarrassment, but is actually a serious matter of national security. Take listen, but do grab a seat first:

Untold gazillions have been spent in effort to bolster our educational system, but as you can see from the results, the unions are getting rich while many of our citizens are nothing short of idiots. Rick Perry had troubling thinking of governmental departments to be eliminated, but I got one; the Department of Education.

After all, for the teacher unions, their objective has nothing to do with a great public school system, and it is not about the kids. This is impossible to imagine, but don't take my written thoughts to truth; take the words of NEA Chief Counsel Bob Chanin:

With taxpayer dollars pouring in, the public school system, run by the government, has failed miserably to significantly raise the standard level of education, not because we have poor teachers, but primarily because of the significant infiltration of the teacher union.

While this may seem like an isolated problem, if applied in macro terms, an extremely troubling objective comes into light. President Obama has spent much of first term implementing a significant extension of governmental control of the citizenry, a citizenry deemed lacking in intellectual aptitude to engage in proper decision making.

The arrogance of those involved in the orchestration of a socialistic system heavy on central planning with progressive increases in governmental power based on the needs of the collective is astonishing, but it is in full implementation right under our eyes. The government has installed and expanded policies which offer minimal benefits, trapping those uneducated individuals to a lifetime of governmental dependency, robbing them of their identity and democracy and their ability to engage in the pursuit of happiness.

On the heels of Stern's effort, we were offered another glimpse of this in Cleveland with SEIU protesters outside a Romney campaign event:

Idiots are suckered in, as they have not been adequately educated to understand freedom and basic economics. These folks welcome the benefits, not recognizing the freedoms they are giving away.  In addition, as Mitt Romney pointed out in the hidden video he is being incorrectly being hammered on, those handing out the gifts will secure almost all of the votes cast by those receiving the benefits.

Securing a small portion of a particular voting base can swing an election, and if President Obama and his cohorts succeed in transforming America away from free enterprise, untold numbers will suffer with violence and despair taking root.

Mitt Romney was asked last week what the election was about, and he responded "freedom". Romney was without question correct. This election is about free stuff versus freedom, and I hope enough of those making their way to the voting booth understand a basic economic principle: there is no free lunch.
