A Measure of Success

While literally in midst of another domestic terrorist attack in Washington, DC at the Naval ship yard, in what can only be described as a classless and appalling action, President Obama took to the podium in front of a staged crowd marking the five year anniversary of the financial crisis to take credit for saving America from a a depression.

The top priority since his tenure in the oval office began, Obama reiterated his intention of focusing like a laser beam in his effort in building our economy so it works for everyone and laying out a new foundation for economic growth and prosperity. Take a listen:



With an adoring mainstream media failing to once again to question the assessment of the president, the extreme lies and misrepresentations of this speech cannot go unchallenged.

Obama, through the passage of Dodd-Frank, has left most banks paralyzed, as he blames the money center banks for creating the housing crisis through unsavory lending and underwriting practices.  Never mind that much of the blame falls on the goings on surrounding the Community Reinvestment Act, which sought to provide loans to lower income individuals and families who under normal established guidelines would fail to qualify.  ACORN, a community activist organization Obama supported and worked with, threatened legal action and public ridicule through protest for those considered racist banks who refused to dismiss best underwriting practices and engage in lending to unqualified applicants.

Dodd-Frank also provides consumer protection for those engaging in commerce with banks, given the deemed incompetence of the consumer derived by the government.  Forget buyer beware, Obama and big brother are here to help, guiding (and restricting) what banking actions of commerce the consumer will be allowed to engage in. Dodd-Frank does nothing but restrict banking opportunities all while increasing costs of the consumers.  It is about nothing but government control, and limits the individual liberty and economic freedom of the citizenry.

In addition, while we are at it, the assault on property rights also adds costs and restricts freedom of property owners through EPA implemented regulatory action, restricted permitting and zoning regulations implemented under Agenda 21.  Has anyone replaced an HVAC system lately?

President Obama spoke of how his efforts jump started the flow of credit.  Through government entitlements, such as HARP, scores of homeowners have refinanced their mortgages at lower interest rates as banks beholden to the government have been directed to provide this opportunity.  The lost money is absorbed by the taxpayers.

Most property owners, due to underwater property values, facing restricted credit and unstable employment, are unable to qualify for loans without government assistance.  Credit for small businesses, and mortgage loans free from governmental intrusion, remain quite difficult to obtain.

Some thirteen trillions dollars have been spent, actually borrowed, to "stabilize the economy" and create jobs, and although Obama has no idea, this has been a colossal failure in large measure to his horrendous economic policies. Remove the FED buying bonds, begin some tapering, and see how stable the economy is.

While the administration trumpets a lowering unemployment rate, it should be noted that figure has been grossly manipulated.  Millions of Americans, unable to find work, have quit looking, and thus have fallen from being counted in the data sample, thus allowing the rate to fall.  The real story can be found by looking at the Labor Force Participation Rate, which tells us that the amount of our citizenry fully employed, not withstanding steady population growth, is at levels not seen since 1978.

 

The real statistics regarding the economy are staggering, and if the workforce was equal to when Obama was sworn in, the unemployment rate would be closer to 14%.  Among the jobs Obama has claimed to create, a mind boggling number have been part time, in large measure due to companies limiting the hours of their employees in preparation of the implementation of Obamacare.  Obama championed the flagship legislation he spearheaded in Obamacare, the current top ranked job killer in America. 

 

In a related statistic, ZeroHedge.com illustrates economic realities even the low information crowd can comprehend; reporting a record number of restaurant workers while restaurant companies report decreasing sales.  Something is wrong with this picture.

 

Obama noted an erosion of the middle class, unaware his policies are the culprit.  Families are working harder than ever for less as median family income is lower than when he took office, coupled with rising costs in health care, food and of course gas, which has been over $3 a gallon, in contrast to a cost of $1.83 upon him taking office, for over 1000 days.

 

In fact, Obama highlighted his efforts to insist on new technologies to end our addiction to foreign oil.  Given that commentary, it is puzzling that this included reducing domestic drilling where possible, with a byproduct of a reduction in jobs, and increasing purchases from foreign countries.  Obama proclaimed we sought to become Brazil's biggest customer for oil.  Cheers!

 

Higher education has been an item Obama has focused on, even having Sallie Mae taken over by the federal government,  Sadly, the cost of higher education has never been higher and issues abound.

 

Much of the stimulus money went to unions organization and green job initiatives, many of whom are now bankrupt. Bridges and roads earmarked for repair remain in need as the money went elsewhere.

 

Obama was thrilled to save Detroit, except he did not.  The city of Detroit has gone bankrupt, and General Motors has been unable to repay Uncle Sam for the bailout.  The famed Pontiac Motor Division fails now to exist, and green energy vehicles Obama forced GM to produce have not produced a profit.  In a brazen derailment from contract law, bond holders had their money stolen while auto unions were padded.  Dealerships that were closed were over 80% owned by GOP donors, a political hit.  Ford, meanwhile, turned down the bailout and is outperforming GM. 

When Obama adds it up, he sees a tremendous success. Given his ambition to fundamentally transform the United States of America, his presiding over our decline may be measured as such.  For those who appreciate free markets, individual liberty and economic freedom, his tenure has been catastrophic.

But the lies and misrepresentation did not end there.  Yet to come was the all too common bitterly partisan and divisive attack on those meddling kids, otherwise known as Republicans.



It is worth noting, again, that for the fist 18 months of the Obama administration, until the election in Massachusetts of Scott Brown, democrats held a super majority. Better stated, the republicans may as well have played golf everyday because they alone could stop no legislative action. Zero.

At this point, the GOP has the house, but the democrats still control the presidency and the senate. Furthermore, against rhetoric to the contrary, a long list of progressive GOP members refrain from contesting Obama on anything, even some having supported much of his plans, inclusive of Obamacare.

The economic chaos Obama speaks of has been caused by his wreckless spending, exploding entitlements and attacks on small business and free markets.  Keep in mind it is Obama and his party are and have been in control presiding in the decline of America.

With respect to those who are offering opposition to Obama and his collective ambitions, I joined millions of others in electing representatives charged with defeating his initiatives.  It is Obama who has tanked the economy, not a handful of GOP members who oppose his socialistic goals.

Obama is emphatic that he will not negotiate with the GOP on the budget issues, which is odd coming from a man who claimed he would negotiate with any terrorist on the planet.  The GOP always get hammered for not compromising, but it is Obama who will not negotiate.

Yes, when you add it up, freedom and prosperity has been lost under Obama's presidency.  Five years after he implemented his strategy, with limited elected opposition, the country is far from economically stable and cannot pay its bills.  Seemingly under control of the administration, the FED is monetizing our bloated debt, crushing savers and decreasing asset wealth in what has to be considered the reaching of Obama's goal of the transformation of wealth.

The media can cheer Obama on, but those of us in the middle class out here working know what the scorecard says.  The economic conditions as a result of the actions taken by Obama have significantly reduced freedom and prosperity, the opportunity to achieve it, and have decreased the standard of living for the greater majority of our citizens.

How is success measured in this case.  For Obama, presiding over the transformation of the United States is considered a rousing success.  I consider those actions unconstitutional, and therefore seek his impeachment.

Evil An Opponent of Freedom

The History Channel's epic five part mini-series The Bible concluded on Easter Sunday, and I hope you had occasion to watch. It was, in a word, tremendous. Executive producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey preserved and did a fabulous job bringing these stories to life. Additionally, the cast from top to bottom was exemplary, particularly Diogo Morgado, who played the role of Jesus.
Morgado put in a brilliant performance, and is knocking the door to stardom down.

In part three, Satan made an appearance for the first time and a controversy was born.  Many thought the Satan character had a striking resemblance to a very familiar person, President Obama.  In the interest of full disclosure, I immediately saw Obama when Satan appeared.  The producers dismissed any connection between President Obama and the Satan character in the film. The actor who played the role looks nothing like Obama in real life and is appalled to think others saw Obama in his portrayal of the Satan character.  Downey commented she was almost heart broken that the conversation went in this direction as opposed to the actual story being presented.  Good point.

As the controversy emerged, the left went ballistic, wondering how sick someone must be to correlate Obama with Satan.  Among the leaders lowering the level of discourse is a familiar outlet, who finds racism at the core of this, and every, issue.

However, in a recent poll, approximately one in four Americans thought Obama may be the Anti-Christ.

Certainly, Obama is not Satan, or the anti-Christ.  But is it so far fetched to associate President Obama with evil? I contend it is not.

In his association with ACORN, Obama taught Saul Alinsky, which focuses on non civil approaches to achieve goals with the ends justifying the means, no matter whether they violate common moral guidelines.  In fact, Alinsky's book Rules For Radicals, the bible for leftist activists, is dedicated to Lucifer.

The policies enacted by President Obama, policies that restrict freedom and reduce incentives, offer a top down government aimed at controlling the masses through expansion of the welfare state, robbing the individual of free agency

Wealth transformation, simply stated as theft, oppresses those who do the necessary work to achieve greatness enabling those who do not offered in implementation by technocrats and government officials who think they know better.  These oppressive dictator style officials think they alone can dictate markets among the populous, picking winners through crony capitalism exhibiting no respect for the rule of law.

President Obama is set to release a budget this week, a budget that will include significant revenue increases, otherwise stated, tax increases.  Given that almost half of our citizenry pay no income taxes, this another effort at wealth transformation.  Basic economic theory is not a strong suit of this group, as when you increase taxation on something you get less of it.  Prosperity comes to mind.  The economic reality of the point is so simple, it can be written on a napkin. The Laffer Curve is quite illustrative.

Jesus was an opponent of oppressive tax collectors, knowing the government utilized the taxes to oppress the people.  In today's world, although a base of taxation for a limited government to provide basic services for it citizens is necessary, rarely have governments operated efficiently or exercised restraint in spending money the take from those they govern over.  As Lady Thatcher famously said, socialism is great until you run out of everyone elses money.

Governments run by technocrats and dictators who oppress their citizenry through suffocating taxation and regulation house the types of individuals and regimes that brought the wrath of our loving God.  Those in governance who implement restriction of freedom of the people in various forms of oppression are evil and have been since the beginning of time.  The story is told over and over again in the Bible.

Thankfully, The History Channel presented the work of Mark Brunett and Roma Downey in their epic mini series The Bible.  It is hoped that many who may never have had the opportunity can learn of the great news, and recognize that freedom is the key to a peaceful, moral existence in our journey on earth.

Roughshod Romney Win Will True The Vote

Most fortunately, the election appears to be Mitt Romney's to lose. The internal polls, and the momentum, pending some unforeseen event, are strongly in the favor of team Romney-Ryan. Gov. Romney, who has demonstrated the knowledge, demeanor and leadership qualities to assume the duties of our President, has utilized his strong business background and economic knowledge to surge ahead over President Obama, who presided over the decline of America in various avenues.

With any election, particularly the race for President, there are always a few wildcards, including the famed October surprise. With apologies to Donald Trump and the dreadful Gloria Allred, the October surprise this time may in fact the unfolding events surrounding the terrorist act in Libya which resulted in the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

In the back of many a mind, however, is the possibility of voter fraud, which can take many forms.  Intimidation at the voting precinct, which we witnessed in Philadelphia with The Black Panthers and their clubs, dead people voting, nefarious activities of groups such as ACORN and improper campaign funding are many of the ways the voting tally can be compromised.

Don't worry, however, because the United Nations is sending delegations to make sure our elections are free from shenanigans. What a joke, although many are not laughing. Masters of corruption and money laundering, the UN eagerly accepts opportunity to promote their anti-American global governance agenda to all bad actors and evil dictators with a hearing aid.

Not withstanding the blue hat brigade, there are many avenues us concerned citizens can take to help ensure the system functions properly.  Among the many doing great work in this regard is author and columnist John Fund and True The Vote, who effort to prohibit election fraud.  Although many instances are regrettably beyond the control of citizens like you and I, with the recount in Minnesota electing Al Franken Senator coming to mind. However, we can take action in many ways, including becoming a poll watcher?

I think I speak for all Americans that we seek a fair electoral process where candidates win on the battlefield of ideas.  Protection of the integrity and legitimacy of our electoral process is vital to the continuance of our free society.

I hope the Romney victory is substantial enough to overcome all the fraudulent efforts that will be embarked upon, and I think it will.

Banking Shakedowns Continuing

Investors Business Daily, with an editorial page second to none, editorialized last week on the subject of "local responsible banking ordinances", which unfortunately are sweeping the country.

After implementation, cities and local governments will require banks who wish to be considered for city or county contracts meet criteria with respect to low income and minority quotas for mortgage and small business lending. In addition, banks must provided detailed plans from banks on their goals in expansion in these areas, along with data associated with loan origination, raising costs and increasing privacy concerns.

Banks already provide much of this information to banking regulators, but local agencies consuming and housing this information, much of which is proprietary, is concerning.

As IBD correctly notes, the moves effectively turn local authorities into bank regulators along with the federal government, adding another layer of CRA enforcement and creating additional pressure on banks to make risky loans. Should the banks fail to meet standards set forth by the city and county agencies, they would be excluded from participating in the bidding process.

Governing.com reports "City leaders who advocate for the ordinances say they're trying to build upon the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), a 1977 law that ended that was designed to encourage banks to address the banking needs of low- and moderate-income Americans and reduce the practice of redlining".

However, it was the CRA that planted the seed for the current housing crisis that has crushed our economy.Banks were targeted, by groups like ACORN with a bevy of young attorneys to shakedown banks into lending to sub-prime borrowers for fear of being exposed as a potentially racist companies.In fact, President Obama, while working with ACORN decades ago, engaged in legal action against CitiBank.

While this may sound good at quick glance, closer examination shows something quite ominous.

These local responsible banking ordinances, an extension of CRA, will force the money center banks to lend based on standards set by those with the agenda of increasing lending to those who cannot qualify on their own merits, injecting governmental influence into privately held firms who have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders, not the community.

While small banks will sit it out, making a sound financial decision to forgo the cost prohibitive regulatory burdens associated with compliance, it is the invisible hand of the marketplace that should be dictating who succeeds, not technocrats with political agendas.

The political motivation of this exercise at the end of the day is what we find at the end of most left wing tentacles extending exponentially these days; the global transformation of wealth. In fact, the implementation of achieving political gain under false premises of betterment of the local communities has sustainable development and Agenda 21 written all over it.

In virtually each case of government interjection into the events of the free market system, simple economic principles, such as caveat emptor, are violated and further limitations are placed on our freedom.In the case agencies implementing "local responsible banking ordinances" the result will create an environment of increased regulation, taxation and barriers to business, which ultimately raises costs.

You have to wonder when or if these technocrat central planners will ever learn. As Ronald Reagan said, the more the plans fail, the more the planners plan. The previous plans have failed miserably, and future plans will as well.

Brightness of Breitbart

The news that came over the airwaves at the conclusion of the first hour of The Glenn Beck Program was stunning and tragic. A ferocious and tireless leader of the Conservative movement, Andrew Breibart, has passed away, at the all too early age of 43.

Breibart had a brightness about him, no doubt. As they once said, sunlight is the best disinfectant. To refer to him as intellectually bright would be an understatement, but Breibart made the sun shine bright on those plotting the demise of America.

Breibart helped shine the light of the nefarious actions by government and Hollywood through his family of websites, often advancing information others refrained from reporting. Breibart used his new media presence to place each discovery on display for America to comprehend, as many never knew these activities were taking place. See ACORN.

As a fearless and formidable foe of the progressive left, in pure Alinsky form, Breibart was ridiculed and targeted by the progressive left, and he quite liked it. While many hid from the front line of the fight, Breibart stood tall in light taking on all comers, including the complicit media.

This is a devastating loss for the good guys. I never got the chance to meet Andrew Breibart, but I feel as though I have lost an old friend. Breibart was a true American Patriot, a fearless friend of freedom and champion of free market capitalism. In addition, he appreciated an honest fight on the issues, one where he knew he would be victorious as he shined the light on the truth, exposing the bad actors to the public from sea to shining sea.

God Bless Andrew Breibart and his family. We will never forget your passion and leadership as the fight for freedom marches on. Thanks for shining in the light!

Information Misrepresentation: Appraisals

Information presented to the Public by various outlets is being crafted to misrepresent reality in an effort to skew political thinking, gain economic advantage and nudge social justice further down the American psyche. This is the first in a series of blog posts detailing instances in this regard, as it is imperative the Public recognize the significant level of misrepresentation and how vast the manipulation is.

Information Misrepresentation: Appraisals

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) reported this week one out of every three of its builder members has lost a sale during the last six months because of home values reported by appraisers.

NAHB Chairman Bob Nielson said, "The inappropriate use of distressed and foreclosed sales as comparables in determining new home values is needlessly driving down home prices, killing home sales, causing more workers to lose their jobs and delaying a housing and economic recovery."

The NAHB did not stop there, further hammering appraisers with the following:

* According the Association, appraisers are using "faulty" practices by utilizing distressed homes as potential comparable sales against new homes. Mr Nielson said in a statement that "This is not only unfair and unreasonable, but it perpetuates the cycle of declining home values, drives more home owners underwater, harms local economic activity and acts as an obstacle to the recovery of the housing market."

* Mr Nielson notes that in many cases, new home appraisals are coming in below the cost of construction, because of flawed appraisals for utilizing existing and potentially distressed homes.

* Per the NAHB, These appraisal practices are a major contributing factor to the current acquisition, development and construction (AD&C) lending crisis that has choked off credit for home builders and threatens to prolong the current housing downturn. Falling appraised values for land and subdivisions under development have led some financial institutions to stop lending to developers and builders, to demand additional equity and even to call performing loans.

* The NAHB has been having summits, with leaders throughout the housing industry in an effort to find solutions that will allow appraisers to develop realistic valuations based on sales that are truly comparable.

Mr Nielson and the NAHB concludes that, you guessed it, “Major reforms in appraisal practices and oversight are needed to ensure that appraisals accurately reflect true market values and don’t contribute to price volatility or harm aspiring home owners and move-up buyers.”

One thing I know from the real estate world: It is always the appraisers fault. NOT! What we do have from the NAHB is information misrepresentation.

This must have been some series of summits. A bunch of bureaucrats gathered together to central plan the housing recovery, culminating in the one thing we need less, not more, of; additional regulations.

If additional regulations were the answer, the sweeping regulatory action spearheaded by former HUD Secretary and Architect of Ruin Andrew Cuomo, The Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC), would have done the trick. Instead, it has wrecked the appraisal industry, leaving unregulated Appraisal Management Companies to coordinate, and in many cases dictate, appraisal performance.

Since distressed properties make up approximately 65% of the market here in Florida, it would be highly inappropriate to fail to consider these as potential comparable sales, provided the gross living area, age, amenities, and, of course, condition, were reasonably similar.

By applying political pressure to "develop realistic valuations," made as instructed will become a reality and as a result, valuations will be lacking in adequate support and accurate value.

Appraisal practices, as governed by the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice (USPAP), provide a framework for appraisers nationwide to adhere to in an effort to provide consistent and accurate valuation through the three approaches to value. These voluminous guidelines are a contributing factor to providing the industry with appraisal reports arriving at well supported value indications , not further deteriorating the housing crisis as the NAHB says.

Conspicuously absent from the many factors cited by the NAHB for the continued downward pressure on the housing market are the actions of the Obama administration. It is well documented that the origins of the collapse centered around the governments efforts to provide housing to buyers the marketplace weeded out. These potential buyers were not weeded out due to race, as ACORN would have you believe, but due to the higher risk associated with their ability to repay the loan. Before political correctness ran amok, his used to be referred to as sound business practice.

Among those applying pressure to the banks in the form of threatening race related boycotts was a young attorney for ACORN, Barack Obama.

While George Bush made failed attempts at forcing Congress to rein in the Government Sponsored Entities known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, under House Finance Chairman Barney Frank, the Congress looked the other way.

Meanwhile, instead of letting the market cleanse itself, the administration has invented program after program to reward bad behavior and prop up the values of housing, which has only prolonged the pain and the problem. Government, who cannot be trusted, should leave the housing marketplace and let the free market establish a base for prices. In fact, we now learn the housing numbers have astonishingly been inflated.

Housing is not the only place numbers are inflated. Government spending, regulation and taxation is what is crushing the job market, with unemployment actually around 12% rather than the reported 8.6%, and for buyers to feel comfortable making large purchases in the form of housing, the job market needs to be at worst steady. Under this administration, there is no job creation, debt is expanding exponentially and Americans are in fear for the future.

Until jobs can be created in large numbers and the government diminishes involvement in what should be private sector activity, continued negative pressure on the housing market and America will remain.

As Ronald Reagan accurately said, "Government is not the solution to the problem, government is the problem."

Manufacturing Malaise

The Republican National Committee has produced a new ad comparing the horrendous Presidency of Jimmy Carter to that of our current office holder, Barack Obama.



While the comparisons are striking, as the economically idiotic similarities appropriately pointed out, unfortunately, our current status is far more troubling. For those who have yet to recognize it, the coordinated series of actions taken by the Obama administration are part of a process to fundamentally transform the United States of America. Obama as much as said so just days before he was elected.

Evidence of these actions have been well chronicled over time here on the blog, but the centerpiece of plan is the Cloward and Piven strategy, which I strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with.

Certainly, decisions made by the Obama administration and the Democratically led bodies of Congress over the past three years have boggled the mind, seemingly absent of any level of common sense. The polices are a massive failure. We are in the midst of economic failure, and in foreign policy, we have abandoned our friends to flirt with our enemies. Fast and Furious, the actions taken against the automakers bond holders, ACORN, Solyndra, Occupy Wall Street and even a recently passed defense bill, with some rather interesting parts, are significant examples.

Now, I know, White House Spokesman Jay Carney wants to skip the question and move on to "something more serious", but that is how this group operates. The transformation is much more than a global transfer of wealth, but an effort to control human behavior through governmental influences. Top Obama Czar Cass Sunstein, author of the book "Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth, and Happiness", is orchestrating the nudge of our citizenry with the full blessing of the Obama. And most of America has no idea they are being played.

Our liberties are eroding at an alarming pace under this regime, and those who are asleep while enjoying guilty pleasures along the lines of "Dancing With The Stars" are being nudged to remain bystanders to a changing history they will regret they did not attempt to intercept.

It will be a history of darkness for those Obamabots who aspire to achieve greatness, for their efforts will not be determined by work ethic in a free market system but a byproduct of what the government decides is worthy of your sacrifice, where some technocrat determines winners and losers.

Once you recognize it is communism, it our sovereignty will be gone and it will be far too late to change course. An evil storm is brewing, and take the word of a Mariner; the storms arrive very quickly unabated on the open sea.

Sunday Night Song

Who are the Occupy Wherever protesters? It is a widening collection of village idiots with global associations.

When you get past the radical left, the peacenicks, CAIR, ACORN, the Socialists and the Communists, you find a youthful contingency lacking in the skill set, complete with hard work ethic, integrity and competitiveness, to achieve the success they desire. This is the same group where everyone got a trophy in little league.

These folks think that rewards come without paying the necessary price, and when these rewards are not forthcoming, they are victims. Hence, they demand wealth transformation. Somehow, they think they are deserving. God forbid they put in the work and still come up short!

I grew up wanting to win The Heisman Trophy. I got over it.

Decisions made have consequences. If you graduated from say, Cornell, with a degree in Liberal Arts specializing music of the Orient and have $50,000 of tuition debt, it would be logical to assume a high paying job does not await your graduation and you may find difficulty is satisfying that debt. Perhaps a more suitable major should have been selected?

Instead of camping out, get a job; any job. Rather than claiming your a victim, chart your own path. In fact, quit bitching. The big bad world doesn't owe you a thing! Get Over It!

Grinding Uncle Sam's Gears

It depends on what side of the fence you sit on but Uncle Sam's gears are being grinded.

If you are a Progressive, big government is the answer in the form of top down government control over the citizenry, you have to be impressed what President Obama has accomplished. The transformation is taking place.

Free market capitalists, who subscribe to Reagan's philosophy that government is not the solution to the problem, government is the problem, are sick to the stomach at the destruction of the system of government and economic system our forefathers envisioned under the command of President Obama. Hence, the Tea Party.

Lest there be no doubt, if we are to be a free market based country of hard work ethic, integrity and a desire to compete and succeed, the efforts of President Obama will go down ranking among the worst administrations in our short history. Who could have ever imagined we would be longing for the days of Jimmy Carter?

It would be great if we could just vote Obama out and get our life back. Unfortunately, it is not that simple, as few of our citizens can really grasp their arms around the depth of the issues surrounding our nation.

The problems are so deeply embedded, it will take decades to return this country to a position where economic and social prosperity can expand exponentially and potential can be maximized.

Outside of the the Reagan administration, which is really only a blip on the radar screen, we have been traveling this path for over 100 years. But Reagan's tenure is most significant, offering a glimpse of the enormous potential of not only America, but each and every individual who help make up our citizenry.

As the folks down at Occupy Wall Street think, wealth should be transferred from those who have accomplished to those who, for whatever reason, have not enjoyed such success with the government being the administrator. Under this thought process, those who risked everything for the hope of achieving a return on investment and continuous income stream offering security provided the integrity the gain was based upon continues, are viewed as greedy and obstacles to the socialistic beliefs of the Progressives.

Today, the President Obama offered up a new plan to forgive student loans. The student loan forgiveness plan has been floating around for months, with the basis for action passed into law in of all places, Obamacare. This blog tackled the student loan forgiveness topic a few weeks back, noting the moral decay from the government interfering in private contracts. While many argue the plan does not impact private loans, it indeed does as those participating in those loans do not get the benefit, and are thereby penalized for adhering to an agreed upon contract.

Whether the government interference is in student loans or mortgages, when contract law is dismissed you have no rule of law, no basis for a sound economic system, and thus the collapse of a free market system is imminent.

Although few are aware, the collapse of the system has been the plan all along. From Cloward and Piven to the radical elements of the 1960's rebellion, the objective has been clear and is being demonstrated right before your eyes in the orchestrated protests going on now under the Occupy Wherever banner. Among those orchestrating the events; ACORN.

The radicals of the sixties are now in charge, and us common folk are not the counter culture. As former Obama Green Jobs Czar Van Jones once quipped, we must drop the radical pose for the radical ends. The radicals of the sixties are not against civil unrest or violence. Glenn Beck has been right on target pointing out the objectives of these folks, as you can hear by listening to this clip from his television show.

To understand how to defeat these folks, and they must be defeated, it is vital to understand some history. The following video is an eye opening tale of some of that history, and offers those now seeking answers to why Uncle Sam finds herself in such upheaval some clues. Please watch in entirety:


It is with regret to report that the fight for our country is fully engaged by our opponents within, but a great deal of our citizenry has yet to wrap their arms around what is taking place. It is now, given the economic numbers, economic policy and mind boggling foreign policy being engaged in that many are seeking some answers to bewildering questions. When you learn about the objectives of this movement, although they are shocking to the unsuspecting mind, the visual becomes clear.

We can no longer sit on the sideline. Before we elect a new signal caller for 2012, the team needs each of us to get in the game and stand up now engaging in leadership by example in demonstration of the first principles through legally permissible action inclusive of faith, education, service and discipline.

At some level, our fight is not with the useful idiots at Occupy Wherever, although there is a high level of hatred being displayed. The fight is really with the orchestrator's working in and out the shadows who are long in the tooth of this battle. Open your eyes as many of these folks are presently exposing themselves as they sadly become more embolden by our President, who is one of them.

Agent Speculator

This sign, reportedly located in north Central Florida, is most telling.

Please allow a moment of digression. Elements of the left wing, under the premise of assisting those in the lower levels of economic stature to purchase a home, applied pressure to banks to lend with potential charges of false racism to lend to this group of individuals. Certainly, you recall ACORN.

The easy money position taken by The Federal Reserve helped fuel and create an environment of easy lending to all levels of economic status. Coupled together, we all now know how catastrophic this series of moves was.

In response to the crash, the FED balance sheet has been expanded to allow for banks to reset. Initially, public thought was that the banks would lend this money out to the public to help restart the economy. Instead, banks have been hording the money.

Are the banks still trigger shy to lend to the small businesses and individuals that make up most of the economic growth in the community? Given the economic environment created by this administration, one which seemingly encourages people to escape their financial obligations, I would be.

Are banks not convinced of the stability of the underlying value of the collateral used to secure loans, such as real estate? I am.

Are banks saving up because they see what lies ahead in the future, which is the possibility of another crash. Could be, as a double dip recession is already underway and we can see bubbles in several areas, such as gold and silver.

If I had all the answers, I would be floating around on my Hatteras in the Bahamas.

Currently, the dollar is at near term low. One of the four pillars of Reaganomics was sound money, which includes a strong dollar, which puts our economy in prime position to function at high levels. With oil prices pegged to the dollar, a weak dollar is one of the main reasons gas prices are soaring. Another reason is the Obama administration, who set out to investigate what role speculators are having in causing prices to rise.

If I know demand is steady at a minimum and Obama is restricting oil production, adverse to increasing our domestic supply from drilling, is assisting in creating havoc in the oil rich middle east which disrupts distribution and is placing a heavy hand of regulation on the profitable energy sector, I recognize investment opportunities.

Investors are indeed speculating on higher oil costs. The way to derail the speculators is for the policies regarding oil to change, and that would heave to come from the very folks investigating potential speculation.

Recently, China has been decreasing bond purchases from the US and selling at a discounted rate, as the Chinese are not confident they will get paid what they are owed. This action devalues our economy, as does our government using quantitative easing (printing money) as stimulus.

High levels of inflation has already arrived in some areas (food), but will become an all encompassing issue in the coming years. The FED will work to quickly offset the inflationary pressure by restricting the money supply, which should include a rise in interest rates.

What will the playing field look like when this starts happening. Will the gold bubble burst. Will the much talked about municipal bond crash become a reality? Where will investors run to?

Perhaps the answer is Real Estate, a tangible investment which as adjusted has historically low prices. Due to high levels of vacant units nationwide and new home construction nil, a reset is not expected until about 2016.

If it does come full circle, I hear Exxon-Mobil is entering the home financing business. Just call me Agent Speculator!

Enlightenment Fusing

Last week, Glenn Beck announced he would be leaving his weekday show on the FOX News Channel. Although news reports indicate many advertisers had withdrawn support, his ratings were historic for his 5PM EST time slot and he will be sorely missed. Beck spoke with FOX News Judge Andrew Napolitano regarding his announcement.

Beck will continue to do his weekday radio show, and his emerging internet news platform The Blaze is literally on fire. But beyond that, Beck was mum on his plans, asking his fans to trust him on what lies ahead. As one of his loyal fans, I can say Beck has earned that trust.

Beck has been almost alone in leading the way on several major negative developments, including ACORN, Van Jones and the Czars, the transformation of America and perhaps most importantly, the crashing of the American economic system by capitalist opponents.

Decisions made these days by our government makes little sense, but if you are informed about the Cloward and Piven strategy, something Beck introduced most of America to, you would recognize the coordinated effort to crash our current economic system into a European socialist structure. Beck has been on it for years, as have I.

Bill O'Reilly, host of The O'Reilly Factor on FNC, wrote a great column regarding Beck leaving his show. But O'Reilly, who has been resistant to sign on to the concept that enemies inside the gate are plotting the crashing of our economic system, has seen the light and has arrived to the party. Although most of the beer is gone, O'Reilly is welcomed.

Hopefully, with O'Reilly on board, more Americans will come to realize the evil being perpetrated on America under the progressive left who place zero value on American exceptionalism. If so, we can all thank Glenn Beck, the George Whitfield of our time, for leading the way.

Victims We All Know Well

It has been well documented, and I do not have to tell you, that the intervention of the government in the housing market has resulted in an economic disaster rivaling any of our day. Unfortunately, it is far from conclusion, and sadly, it was an orchestrated event.

The ripple affect of this catastrophe is simply mind boggling. Families being devastated by losing their is the face of the crisis, but the problems only begin there. Family wage earners have been caught in the tsunami of unemployment, smothering any attempts at digging out the hole. Home values have been decimated to such an extent that re-financing, even if qualified, is not an option.

Government intrusion is not the only culprit in this crash, with money center banks, fraudulent mortgage brokers and appraisers and Wall Street investors all playing a role. Certainly, although you will not read about in the media, let us not forget the American citizenry who bought homes they could not dream of affording.

On Sunday night, 60 Minutes presented a strong story on banks misrepresentation as part of their foreclosure efforts. Although 60 Minutes has presented a handful of stories on the housing crisis of late, they are quick to vilify Wall Street but never get around to placing any blame on government, or heaven forbid, President Obama. Perhaps Scott Pelley is unaware of the role of ACORN, who Obama remains closely associated with.

There are many victims, including those who have lost homes and jobs, who are close to each of us. Most, if not all the culprits, secured golden parachutes and remain free to wreak havoc on the next group of victims. Jamie Gorelick, Franklin Raines and Andrew Cuomo come to mind.

The amount of fraud in the housing crisis is staggering, and this piece details only one aspect of it, but it is well worth you taking time out to get brushed up how this fraud continues to haunt our lives.

Banish the Badgering Progressives

Fighting for the "working families" in Wisconsin are local union members, and a collection of the violent professional agitators. Along side the local school teachers, city and county employees and fireman stand the likes of Code Pink, SEIU, Organizing for America, AFL-CIO, AFSCME, The Rainbow-PUSH Coalition, the Socialists and the Communists. Idiots to be sure.

While I have the utmost respect for our fireman, police officers and teachers, although I am a former county worker myself, I stand strongly against the union protesters. In addition, I do not stand with Communists and Socialists, and certainly not with the likes of Andy Stern and Richard Trumpka.

A great example of the hypocrisy at play is the teachers and their union. Everyone loves our teachers, most of whom are truly outstanding, so surely we can did deeper in our pockets for them, right?

There you have it. It is not about creating a better public education for our children, it is about their power.

Not with my money.

Never in my capacities in the public or private sector have I needed collective bargaining to enhance my position negotiating my employment compensation and benefit package. I have handled that myself, and quite enjoyed it.

The financial crisis, orchestrated in many ways by union organizations and the like, most notably ACORN, has forced us all to tighten the belt. Along with much of our citizenry, states are teetering on defaulting.

For those without skin in the game to protest slim reductions in their union negotiated compensation contracts in an effort to keep the states from defaulting is appalling to those of us in right to work states that are the "real" working families of this country.

At the end of the day, the union members are torqued that they are being forced by those who pay their salaries to join the rest of us and face reduced compensation, whether in the form of wages and/or benefits, to weather the current, and lingering, financial crisis.

I recommend they learn a lesson from this evil turn of events and take a course of action that would guard them from ever having to experience this again. Start your own business, where your compensation depends on your efforts. How about that!

No longer will you depend on the whims evil corporate executives or bloated bureaucrats. Don't want to pay six figures salaries for union bosses, then don't. You are in control. The only working family you need to pay for is yours, unless you wish to engage in some form of charity.

Sure, there is no free lunch. It is hard work, but it is rewarding. After a few years of building your success, the only thing torquing you will be your taxes rising to pay bloated benefits for the progressive union member idiots who think you owe them something.

Locked Out

Unless you are a die hard progressive, the news is all bad at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. No time like the present to have a mainstream media arm of the administration come out with some good news to reinforce the public on the strength of the messiah, President Obama.

Politics Daily, a lefty Internet operation of AOL, presented the findings of a study by American University by Professor Allan Licthman. Lichtman had put together a formula to judge the outcome of the popular vote in our Presidential elections. This formula is based on thirteen factors and indicates President Obama is "guaranteed" to win in 2012. Well, why even hold the 2012 Presidential election?

President Obama is quite familiar with American University, where the Liberal Lion Ted Kennedy endorsed his presidential campaign and where he spoke at earlier last month, calling for comprehensive immigration reform.

Just for the fun of it, I am going to review each key and its commentary.

Outlining the Keys:

•KEY 1 (Party Mandate): After the midterm elections, the incumbent party holds more seats in the U.S. House of Representatives than it did after the previous midterm elections. (FALSE)

FALSE. A no brainer here. November will be a historical bloodbath for the Democrats.

• KEY 2 (Contest): There is no serious contest for the incumbent-party nomination. (TRUE)

I am going to go with false FALSE on this one. With the implosion of the Obama administration, Hillary, who is on a time table, is lurking in the shadows.

• KEY 3 (Incumbency): The incumbent-party candidate is the sitting president. (TRUE)

I'll go with TRUE. However, the possibility of Obama resigning is very small, but it is higher than you think percentage wise.

• KEY 4 (Third party): There is no significant third party or independent campaign. (TRUE)

Again, this is TRUE as we sit here today. However, if the Republican Party does not embrace the Tea Party, and given recent comments by former Senator Trent Lott (R:MS) that is in question, the Tea Party could emerge as a third party.

• KEY 5 (Short-term economy): The economy is not in recession during the election campaign. (TRUE)

Given the policies implemented by Obama, the economy will continue to be very poor. Obama is hammering small business, raising taxes and uncertainty and increasing regulation. Should the Republicans gain control in the Congress and thwart some of Obama's policies, things could get better but the housing overhang will still remain. The country may not technically be in recession, but it sure will feel like it. So, FALSE.

• KEY 6 (Long-term economy): Real per-capita economic growth during the term equals or exceeds mean growth during the previous two terms. (FALSE)

FALSE. Not even close. Although Obama says the worst is past us, it is not.

• KEY 7 (Policy change): The incumbent administration effects major changes in national policy. (TRUE)

FALSE. Well, actual fact Obama has. The healthcare bill passed, and while he thinks this is a success, the actions taken to get the bill passed were borderline unethical and were against the will of the American people by any reasonable poll looked at. Obama also insists on an energy policy Americans are against and looks to be backdooring an amnesty policy for illegal immigrants, another move agsint the wind of the people.

So, it is technically true but will be seen as false.

• KEY 8 (Social unrest): There is no sustained social unrest during the term. (TRUE)

FALSE. Have you seen what is going on in Greece? Well, it is coming here. Furthermore, a few arms of the administration, ACORN, the NAACP and SEIU, are already creating disturbances all over the place.

Right out of the Cloward and Piven playbook,the system is being overwhelmed which leads to civil unrest, opening the door for the public to crave someone to fix the problem. The plan is for this to be the government, who created the problem to start with.

• KEY 9 (Scandal): The administration is untainted by major scandal. (TRUE)

FALSE. There are several scandals out there, and some, including ACORN voter fraud, already exposed. There are other potential scandals out there, including Fannie Mae, Shore Bank and the failure to secure the oil leak. Also, there may be more to this Shirley Sherrod story than first thought.

• KEY 10 (Foreign/military failure): The administration suffers no major failure in foreign or military affairs. (TRUE)

FALSE. The apology tour Obama continues on is disgraceful. While he is taking credit for the success in Iraq, which is appalling given he opposed the effort every step of the way, Afghanistan is not going well under his leadership and Iran, the head of the snake, getting nuclear weapons is a major problem, one Obama does not appear engaged on.

• KEY 11 (Foreign/military success): The administration achieves a major success in foreign or military affairs. (FALSE)

I am in agreement here, FALSE. Obama is waffling hard on all foreign policy fronts. Iran is a major issue, and while Obama votes present, Israel may take the lead and Obama will look, and is, weak and it will be obvious to anyone.

• KEY 12 (Incumbent charisma): The incumbent-party candidate is charismatic or a national hero. (FALSE)

This is TRUE. While Obama is about the farthest from a national hero of any of our Presidents, he is charismatic to most of the populous. I find him arrogant and thin skinned, but most Americans like him personally although they are beginning to hate his policies.

• KEY 13 (Challenger charisma): The challenging-party candidate is not charismatic or a national hero. (TRUE)

FALSE. Define charisma. Mitt Romney and his economic background could sound like sweet music to the masses by the time the election roles around. Sarah Palin is charming and does represent a common sense perspective Americans are thirsty for. Newt Gingrich has a historical perspective that engages many and Mike Huckabee is quite likeable. And then there is Chris Christie!

I think Foghorn Leghorn will look solid when compared to Obama by then.

When five or fewer of the "keys" are false, the incumbent President wins. The writer has four for Obama, signaling a win. I have ten false, which means Obama is sent packing.

For the sake of our country, this cannot happen soon enough.

Time To Fight The Thugs

We have seen this before. A year ago March, CNN was invited along as ACORN members were bused around to harass AIG employees at their homes. This past week, SEIU thugs trampled upon a Bank of America employees property rights and harassed his family in front of his home. Watch this:



Make no mistake, Bank of America (BAC:NYSE) would be my last preference of banks to do business with, although the Shore Bank in Chicago is giving them a run for their money. I am against BAC.

As far as the woman in the video, while it is unfortunate that her son was killed, I have a list of recommendations.

1. Get a job.
2. Don't buy things you cannot afford, especially big ticket items.
3. Owning a home is not a right.
4. No pay, no stay. Therefore, you should be foreclosed on.
5. Lose the community organizing crowd.
6. Get an appreciation for the rights of our citizens and comport yourself in a respectful manner.

Wow! Is there any question what side anyone with sanity is on?

Now, as Beck points out, Ms. Easton is getting hammered for questioning the antics of the SEIU thugs. See stories HERE and HERE. The Huffington Post even blasts her for failing to disclose her husbands PR firms has ties to BAC. Are you kidding me? These thugs should be in jail for trespassing. Where were the cops anyway? SEIU's John VanDeventer commented "If Nina Easton really wants to see 'personal intimidation,' she should head outside her posh neighborhood and follow along next time Bank of America forecloses on a family." News flash for Mr. VanDeventer! If a family overextended themselves and cannot meet their obligations they indicated they could by signing a contract, then they should be foreclosed on. Furthermore, Bank of America, and other banks, should not have given loans to "sub prime" borrowers and unions of thugs and governmental operatives (ACORN) should not have pressured/threatened banks to lend to these sub prime borrowers as home ownership is not a right.

Interestingly enough, I have been very critical of Nina Easton for seemingly being a total Obama ass kisser, although maybe that was to secure the big interview she got in 2009. Maybe, just maybe, she can recognize the thugocracy the Obama administration is running now that she witnessed it first hand. Should this be the case, what an expose she could pen for the folks over at Fortune Magazine, of which I have been a subscriber of in the past.

It would not take much work on her part, as Mr. Beck has done most, if not all of it, already. How about it Ms. Easton? What say you?

I have had enough of ACORN and SEIU, the role they are playing in our current administration and the actions of civil disobedience and thuggery they perform in advancing their cause. Next time they protest a foreclosure action in Orlando, I will be there standing against them in non violent protest. And I am looking forward to these thugs attempting voter intimidation in November.

Nicolas Sarcozy of France thinks Obama is insane says European Union Times

Familiarize yourself with the Cloward & Piven Strategy, which is socialist in nature and aims to crash the capitalistic system by overloading it with bureaucracy. This strategy, clearly, is currently being implemented by the Obama administration.

Take a few moments to get a handle on Saul Alinsky, author of Rules for Radicals, who many Democrats label a hero, including MSNBC host Chris Matthews.

Alinsky tactics were practiced all throughout the 2008 campaign and continue as we speak. The narrative being put out regarding the tea party patriots is a solid example. With thousands of tea parties all across the fruited plain over the past year, there has been no violence committed by tea party participants.

There has been violence from those against the tea partiers, including this example of SEIU thugs in action. With many tea parties scheduled as we approach tax day, the word has been put out for leftist Alinskyites to use civil disobedience, made famous by ACORN, to try to create a disturbance. Nancy Pelosi led by example walking through protesters on way to voting on the health care bill in an effort to create a disturbance, and when one did not occur, made one up. This was an effort to set up the tea partiers, with the media complicit in compliance.

It is most unfortunate we are at this place in American history, and I whole heartily share the concern and conclusions expressed by Mr. Voight. I will be in attendance at the Orlando Tea Party this week with eyes, and video, wide open. For as Thomas Jefferson said, "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

An Orchestrated Event

There is plenty of buzz surrounding a new documentary to be released in the coming weeks exploring the roots and causes of the financial meltdown. The documentary, Generation Zero, presented by Citizens United Productions, is an eye opening account which should be a mandatory homework assignment for all Americans. Take a look at the trailer.


“This film is about a crisis – one that is as profound as The Revolution, The Civil War, or The Great Depression and WWII,” said awarding winning director Stephen Bannon. “The title ‘Generation Zero’ is ironic, as it refers to both the Baby Boomers and the generation born today: the one generation whose greed and fiscal mismanagement has destroyed the financial legacy and inheritance of the other.”

This film was recently presented at CPAC and left a standing room only crowd spellbound. Among the commentators in the film are BAHL's Blog favorites Steve Moore, Larry Kudlow and Amity Shlaes, author of The Forgotten Man, another must read.

Similar to business cycles, there is much to be learned from the behavior of generations, both from psychological and investor perspective. Harry Dent, author of The Roaring 2000's Investor, through his demographic-based economic forecasting, has done some good work in this arena.

This economic meltdown is not an accident, but rather an orchestrated event. Anti capitalistic big government activists, and the current administration is full of them from the top down, have been setting themselves up for decades hoping for a crisis to occur that would present a window of opportunity for them to advance their socialistic agenda. With the housing crisis, assisted in creation by ACORN and their thugs, they got their perfect storm. Remember "you never want a serious crisis to go to waste"?

The economic problems this nation faces are quite critical, and coupled with the moves being made by our elected officials, are extremely dangerous. Beyond the economic issues, the crisis is a matter of national security. It is imperative that the American people clearly understand how this occurred in order to take proper action against those responsible and in an effort to right the wrongs. Generation Zero is a powerful tool in this regard.

Obama's ACORN a Cancer on Prosperity

As we sit in the midst of a housing crisis of unprecedented magnitude, one of the main culprits, ACORN, has essentially gotten a pass from our governmental officials and the mainstream media.

While bank executives have been targeted and vilified by Congressional committees and our President, it took a couple of young aspiring journalists posing as a pimp and prostitute to get the government to take notice of ACORN. The aftermath of that caused some politicians to distance themselves from the organization while others blatantly vocalized their support. Others, including a former ACORN lawyer, lied to the American people about the extent of their relationship with the organization: President Barack Obama.

A handful of politicians have been doing everything they can to expose this organization of corruption and civil disobedience, including Representatives Michele Bachmann (R:MN) and Darrell Issa (R:CA), ranking reform member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Issa released a statement and the following video, which is in full scale contradiction to the public comments made by Obama on the campaign trail. Take a listen:

After being exposed, ACORN was temporarily cut off from receiving any funding from the government until last Halloween, when business as usual picked up where it left off. And that in itself is most troubling.

ACORN, who has been charged with voter fraud, was complicit in the housing crisis by shaking down banks and intimidating them to lend to less than desirable borrowers. Forcibly interfering in the marketplace through intimidation, fraud and civil disobedience by ACORN and unions such as SEIU are purported to be of benefit to our communities, but in fact are a cancer on growth and prosperity due to the inefficiencies they create and legalities they flirt with violating.

Among the young attorneys fighting the banks on behalf of ACORN was Barack Obama. During the rise of Obama to the office of the Presidency, as the negative publicity swirled around ACORN, Obama skirted the truth at best in describing to the American people his relationship with the community organization. In fact, since his election, Andy Stern of SEIU is reported to be the most frequent visitor to the White House.

While Obama publicly ridicules bank presidents and Wall Street firms for their role in the crisis, and they do have one, he fails to take responsibility for his voting record and the role organizations he supports had. Obama is, to be kind, disingenuous with the American people, and if you have not seen through his lack of honesty and transparency as of yet, perhaps you will now.

Truth Evasive for MSNBC

President Obama and his staff have taken the extremely juvenile route of attacking FOX News, and as usual, if the actions were not so serious, the would be pure comedy. Obama and his operatives stated they consider FOX News to be an arm of the Republican party and not a conveyor of actual news, like the recent ACORN scandal. Anyone with a brain recognizes this as laughably false.

On his side of the ball, there actually are arms of the left masquerading as news organizations, most notably NBC News and their sister network MSNBC. You know MSNBC, home of sportscaster turned conveyor of hate Keith Olbermann and "I get a tingle down my leg" when observing Obama Chris Matthews. There are many others to name, such as Andrea Mitchell, who does not think left wing mega donor George Soros is even left wing and NBC News White House correspondent John Harwood, who marveled at Obama swatting a fly recently.

NBC is also owned by General Electric, and the CEO Jeffery Immelt holds a position on Obama's economic team, so you can bet there is fair treatment of the Obama policies by the NBC news organization.

MSNBC is the one who really distorts the truth. In fact, a recent example was when they were peddling racism among tea party participants when they disclosed a tea party attendee brought a licensed semi automatic gun with him, failing to present the public that the individual was black.

So widespread are the lies over there, they cannot even keep track of who they are speaking about or directly to, as evidenced by anchor Contessa Brewer. Get a load of this:

Dancing Around Troops Despicable

If it were not so utterly despicable, I am sure we would be falling down laughing.



Unfortunately, it our best that are at risk of falling due to the indecision by the politically expedient President Obama, who in the presidential campaign of 2008 had answers to everything, even things the intelligence handicapped voting public could not even comprehend.



While Obama is relaxing showing off his dancing moves on Latin Fiesta Night, no doubt regretting he could not participate and win the Dancing with the Stars competition, and engaging in political fundraising across the fruited plain, a request by US Army General Stanley McCrystal for the immediate need of some 40,000 additional troops to take control over the terrorists in Afghanistan remains unanswered.

Those backing Obama on the far left will brutalize him politically if he send the additional troops, for they are the can't we just get along moonbats. Just about every other logical thinking American thinks Obama should respond by granting this request immediately so we can secure victory and bring our soldiers home.

This was the necessary war, as opposed to Iraq, according to Obama. In Obama, I do not see a Commander in Chief who is aiming for victory, but one who wants to use the situation to his political advantage. Might he be waiting for the rerun of the so called tainted recent elections over there? Has ACORN been dispatched?

The United States cannot wait for problems surrounding the legitimacy of the Afghan government to be resolved before making a decision on troops, U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said.

I find Obama's leadership is this regard despicable, and to endanger our military by delaying this decision while breaking a leg is beyond disrespectful to not only those brave enough to serve, but to all Americans. It should be very obvious that this man does not view America like most of us do. We would not be dancing, attacking FOX News and galivanting around with such serious decisions weighing on us, would we?

I recommend Obama send the requested troops over there immediately, to kill the terrorist and not pussy foot around. If Obama is against the effort over there, is not willing to commit to fighting to win and thinks he can buy time throwing rhetoric at us, he should do the moral thing and bring the troops home immediately.

The latter would be a catastrophic decision, but if you have witnessed the activity of his incompetence over the last several months, this would be nothing new.
