Consequences of Truth

Trick!

Michael Ramirez/Investors Business Daily

You don't get to keep your health care plans.

Another home run by Pulitzer Prize winning editorial cartoonist Michael Ramirez of Investors Business Daily, whose editorial page will inform you what is really going on.

Although the mainstream media is running as much interference as possible in effort to protect the President and his objectives of transformation from the public, the truth is seeping out.

With much of the general public picking themselves up off their driveway after having been met with sticker shock, or even cancellations, they figure the government simply was off target in their calculations.  However, the government, or shall I say the progressive architects of the bill nobody outside of Betsy McCaughey read, knew all along this would be the case.

In fact, as reported by The Washington Examiner, according to Sander Levin, D-Mich, the "so-called cancellation notices" merely "help people transition to a new policy."

You have been lied to, repeatedly, and while you may not recognize your freedoms are being decreased with contracting choice, your wallet will pinch you so hard you won't be able to find a seat.

With a disaster of titanic proportions, the people will rise up and demand the government fix the problem, which is yet another move of orchestration by the Obama regime. The ends justify the means with the Obama regime.

On to a single payer plan, where everyone is insured.  The single payer plan has always been the objective of the progressives, with a low degree of difficulty of discovery for those who sought the truth.  The truth has not been concealed from us.  The truth has just been danced around by the media, and an intoxicated public by the irrelevance found in a trivial culture has failed to protect the freedoms our founders fought to give us.

The authors of the plan, The Tides Foundation, spoke candidly about it.  President Obama, even prior to being elected, discussed openly his goal of achieving a single payer system.  The only difference is that few thought it could become a reality so quickly.

With many thinking Obamacare was the ultimate treat, with the restriction of the freedom of choice of health care and lifestyle decisions coupled with escalating costs, it can only be classified as a trick for those reduced to members of the outer party, plagued by passivity and preoccupation.

We tried, unsuccessfully, to warn you.  Please pay better attention, while you still can. This is no trick.

Political Culprits Lining Up In Circles

According to the the Progressives, the elite ruling class, adoring Obamabots and idiots at large among the most fervent admirers of our Commander in Teleprompter, we are informed that President Obama is a man of unprecedented vision, among the most intellectually astute and charmed individual ever to aspire to public service.

So much so, in fact, as reported by John Fund in The Corner, the admiration of the all knowing Obama his chief advisor Valerie Jarrett knows no bounds. “I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary. He knows exactly how smart he is. . . . He knows how perceptive he is. He knows what a good reader of people he is. And he knows that he has the ability — the extraordinary, uncanny ability — to take a thousand different perspectives, digest them and make sense out of them, and I think that he has never really been challenged intellectually. . . . So what I sensed in him was not just a restless spirit but somebody with such extraordinary talents that had to be really taxed in order for him to be happy. . . . He’s been bored to death his whole life. He’s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.”

Michael Ramirez/Investors Business Daily

Since Uncle Sam was so fortunate to have this extraordinary charlatan as our President, we the constituents recognize his keen insight into pop culture events, sporting event prognostication and divisive behavior among law abiding citizens.

However, with untold scandals entangling his administration, ones which have cost the lives of those charged to serve and protect this country, violated countless economic, contract and constitutional laws and nationalized private commerce across the fruited plain, we are told Obama was not integrally involved.

No, Obama cannot be held accountable, for he was not involved.  Back during attack on our country via the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Patriots in Benghazi, Obama was playing cards.  It was the eighth re-run of Sportscenter on ESPN when the NSA spying program was given the OK.  Obama was busy on sustainable community research when the Obamacare website was given a trial run.  In his brilliance, Obama was tapped in via electronic surveillance on Tea Party groups when untold illegal aliens were released to collect entitlement benefits while plotting their next blue collar crime.

It is simply beyond ridiculous.

Obama is eager to take credit for any measurable success which is championed by not only his supporters, but a criminally complicit media. However, when things go wrong, without question the President was otherwise occupied and cannot and will not be held responsible.

Those who are deemed responsible are lining up in circles, and the citizenry is getting whip sawed.

It is in fact the Limbaugh theorem; Obama cannot be held accountable for destruction he is perceived to not have been part of the implementation or orchestration thereof.  Certainly, the public did not feel the need to hold him accountable as he defeated Mitt Romney in 2012.

But, the Obamacare debacle may be too much for even this smooth talking impostor President to overcome.  After all, certainly he would be responsible for something proudly bearing his name.

Or will he?  Trick or Treat.

Treated To A Trick

With Halloween fast approaching, the frightening aspects of Obamascare are coming to light for many Americans who have been living amongst the cobwebs, drowning in a sea of irrelevance while freedoms our forefathers fought and died for are being taken away.

As the website, mired in mind boggling levels of incompetence, becomes functional, additional information concerning Obamacare will become known to the low information trivial culture.  Truths that are discovered, ones that many of us warned about, will be revealed and will not be absorbed kindly by those who expect a free lunch.

Obamacare is based off young workers, who rarely utilize expensive health care, to carry the load for the aged population with high health care costs.  The manipulation of statistics by the administration and with criminally complicit media partners feeding the public propaganda, it is not  widely known that the unemployment rate for those young workers expected to accept the burned of the costs is at historically high levels.  Translation; without significant job creation in the very near future, the Ponzi scheme will fail to adequately fund itself, leading to a myriad of problems that potentially can lead to civil unrest.

Dumb asses failing to pay attention who voted in these progressive administrators of tyranny force all of us to get a government we deserve.  Freedom and liberty are contracting, while tyranny expands.

Don't worry; Obamascare won't be that bad. Those who cannot make a profit on the food service on Amtrack are in charge.  Big Brother will continue persecute individualism and rule for the greater good, increasingly boxing us all in.

Have I mentioned those panels of death?

Trick or Treat.

NATIONAL ANALYSIS:

Miami came from behind to beat Wake Forest at home and won in the final minute for the second week in a row, setting up a battle of unbeatens in Tallahassee next weekend, where ESPN Gameday will be.....Alabama crushed Tennessee, who has been playing better of late.....It was tight for a half, but the Oregon overwhelmed UCLA in Eugene....Ohio State throttled Penn State....Northwestern is crumbling, losing in OT to Iowa who is emerging....The Texas Aggies rolled Vandy.....OU outlasted Texas Tech...Missouri blew a 17-0 lead and doinked a FG effort to tie in the second overtime and lost to South Carolina....Clemson beat Maryland, shaking off the FSU loss...Va. Tech lost at home to Duke in a stunning loss....Mich State bombed Illinois....Baylor continues to light up the scoreboard and faces OU next...TCU was a favorite of many to win the Big XII, but sit at 3-5 after losing big a home to Texas....Stanford won at Corvallis, a tough place to play.... Ole Miss and Auburn cruised to big victories against overmatched opponents.

NEBRASKA ANALYSIS.

Darrell Wallace won the Kroger 200 Craftsman Truck Race on Saturday; the first win in any NASCAR Series by a minority since Wendell Scott won a cup race in 1963.  Not to be outdone, Nebraska got thoroughly outplayed at Minnesota, falling 34-23 as a double digit favorite, losing to the Gophers for the first time since 1960.  How do you like that?  Needless to say, this mind boggling loss, off a bye week, is devastating for Nebraska. With most of the offense returning from a year ago, the inability to put points on the board is simply inexcusable.  The execution was awful and the play calling was head scratching.  The receivers dropped many balls as Nebraska tried to employ a passing game, failing to adequately utilize the run game with Ameer Abdullah, who ran for 165 averaging 8.7 yards per carry.  Many in Husker nation are throwing the blame on quarterback Taylor Martinez, but I am not to be counted among that group.  The young defense, which had seemed to make strides n recent weeks, was atrocious. Minnesota ran basic plays and scored huge gains as adjustments by the defensive coaching staff were not employed.  "We had way too many breakdowns ... I'm talking basic football. Basic football that we couldn't execute and we didn't execute," Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini said.  Tell us something we don't know.  I would like to have Coach Pelini comment on who is responsible for these breakdowns and lack of execution and discipline, which was not an anomaly, but rather a pattern.  While the excuses are seemingly sound, they are continually outlined and are not nor have they been adequately addressed.  You can perhaps excuse losing to a ranked Michigan or Wisconsin, but losing to Minnesota, who make no mistake outplayed Nebraska, is unacceptable.  There appears to be some inner turmoil going on based upon communications and execution breakdowns. As hard as it is to imagine, the Cornhuskers can still win the division and make it the BIG Championship game. Sadly, I think it would be reasonable to assume that if the 'Huskers don't make it, a change at head coach will be in the cards, for at the end of the day, that is where the responsibility lies.

FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS:

Men; take a knee.  A great time was had this weekend in Tallahassee welcoming back Coach Bobby Bowden. What Coach Bowden has meant to Florida State University cannot be measured and it was wonderful to see him at home again in DOAK.

On this wonderful day, after the big win at Clemson last week, visiting North Carolina State, who upset FSU last season, was blown out of the building in a stunning barrage of offensive firepower not seen in Tallahassee since Bowden patrolled the sideline.  With a pair of minutes expired in the second quarter, it was 42-0, every bit as easily as you may imagine.  Jameis Winston was brilliant again, and is every bit the gifted player you think he is. Winston was firing throws for touchdowns made by Sunday afternoon aerial artists, and with the complement of players Winston has to work with, the offense is lethal.  Meanwhile, the Seminole defense is really getting stingy, dominating opponents.  While NC State is not Oregon, they were completely shut down.  Terrance Brooks, who has really emerged on this unit, led the way for FSU.  Fitting with Bowden in the house, this team has the look of some of those dominant FSU teams of the 90's.  There are no visible weaknesses, and with Winston directing a talented and balanced offensive attack, the Seminoles may well be on the way to big things.  Undefeated Miami is coming to town, which represents another opportunity for FSU to advance on the national stage.  With a smothering defensive unit and Winston in command, even thought it is a rivalry game, having the Seminoles open up as a 21 point favorite seems reasonable.

It was GREAT to see one of our favorites, legendary announcer Keith Jackson, Mr. College Football, on FOX Sports college football preview show. Jackson explains how Whoa Nellie came about.

ESPN Gameday reporter Tom Renaldi took a lost back at what the late Beano Cook  labeled the greatest play since "My Fair Lady", the "Puntrooskie" trick play Florida State ran to set up a winning field goal with time expiring at Clemson 25 years ago.  I saw it live, and as steep as the upper deck there is at Clemson, it seemed like we about fell over onto the field celebrating. The Butler did it!

NATIONAL ANALYSIS:

I think this may be the most difficult Top 25 I have compiled, perhaps due to the carnage of would be contenders this past Saturday.....We can start with the Georgia Bulldogs, decimated by injury who could not survive a trip to a decent Vanderbilt team trying to climb out an early season filled with turmoil.  The Bulldogs were among the nations best when healthy, but they are not right now and every week is a dawgfight.... Same for the Florida Gators, also crushed by injuries, but although still hanging on defensively, have no chance against anybody decent due to eye popping offensive woes... Florida-Georgia should sell advertising as perhaps the National Sunshine Rehabilitation Bowl; Have a cocktail or five and cure your woes......UCLA got clamped down at Stanford, which was not expected.....Oregon was challenged early by Wazzu, but ended up killing them....Michigan set offensive records galore against upstart Indiana, who left their defense on the bus.....Storm Johnson helped UCF storm back from a 28-7 deficit to shock Louisville for the biggest win in Knight history, positioning them for a BCS bowl....Miami almost joined the list of losers this weekend, winning at North Carolina with a minute to play.....Outside of Alabama, who rolled Arkansas, seemingly all favorites in the SEC lost, Florida at Mizzou, Georgia at Vandy, LSU at Ole Miss, Texas A&M at home against Auburn and South Carolina at Tennessee, turning the Top 25 upside down......Baylor blasted Iowa State and not a team anybody wants to see upcoming on their schedule...Arizona State pounded a wounded Washington team in Tempe....Tennessee is getting better, having almost beat Georgia and now beating So. Carolina.....Ohio State pulled away at the Horseshoe to beat Iowa....GT blasted Syracuse while Maryland, still staggered from losing at FSU, got punked by Wake Forest, who is playing better of late.....Michigan State used their defense to get them another win hosting Purdue and Minnesota, a team thought coming into the season as improved but not playing well, won at Northwestern, another good team still allowing the Ohio State loss linger on.

FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS

FSU TE Nick OLeary
PhotoAP/Mike Stewart
Put a smile on your warpainted face. In an epic beatdown, Florida State blasted #3 Clemson at Death Valley 51-14, a game not as close as the score would indicate.  Although the Seminoles looked better on paper, logic would dicate that it would be Clemson, with their monumental home field advantage and a fifth year senior honors candidate at quarterback, that would seize the day and venture on toward a possible national championship.  The Tigers should have stayed on the bus.  Florida State redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston, who treated the hostile environment like cold pizza, shined in dissecting the Tiger defense leading a balanced attack hitting paydirt.  And balanced it was, with Devonta Freeman running, Rashad Greene. Kelvin Benjamin and Orlando Dr. Phillips star Kenny Shaw catching Winston aerials inside and outside the hash marks and tight end Nick OLeary having a record setting night.  The Seminole kicking game excelled as well.  Clemson was shackled on offense, with the Seminoles disrupting Tiger QB Tajh Boyd while closing the corner and shutting down running lanes.  Timmy Jernigan and Mario Edwards played well up front.  LB Telvin Smith, a BAHL Revere preseason All America pick, introduced himself to the nation, wreaking havoc all over the field.  Christian Jones, of Winter Park Lake Howell, has a great day as well.  But the secondary was also up to the task, and the player of the game was without doubt LaMarcus Joyner. who had an interception, caused a game changing fumble of a sack, caused another fumble and was simply a terror in Tiger town.  Without question, this was the best game the Seminoles have played against a legit top five team in over a decade.  Clemson beat Georgia when the Dawgs were healthy, so they are no fluke.  Winston escorted all doubters out of the stadium on this night, and it is Florida State that can now begin dreaming big.  For Coach Jimbo Fisher, it is all about the process, so there remains work to be done, and the annual let down against an inferior opponent is part of the process and is scheduled for successful elimination.  It will hard to exclude this team from the title game if undefeated, and although there is a lot of football yet to be played, Seminole nation has to be just delighted at where we find ourselves, and what lies ahead in what appears to be a future of winning quite a few football games, and just maybe, a few championships.  The 51 points scored by FSU are the most ever by an poopnent in Death Valley. No Puntrooskie was needed in the eye opening dismantling that took place at Death Valley on this night. Wow!

Victims We Know So Well

For many, the behavior of President Obama in recent weeks during the partial government shutdown has been an eye opener.  Seemingly in consult with advisor Valerie Jarrett, who vowed to punish enemies; petulant, spiteful, vindictive and punitive action by President Obama spread from his political opponents to affect factions of the entire citizenry.  Most took notice, and few were impressed.

Particularly noteworthy to many was not the closing of the national parks, but the spiteful behavior exhibited toward our veterans.  As despicable as it was for our President to deny military families death benefits and thwart our veterans aiming to visit the WWII Memorial, it was a stick in the eye to gleefully open the National Mall for an immigration rally with paid protesters to advocate for an open borders immigration policy.

While this behavior was simply stunning to many, for those of us who know who Barack Obama is, it came as no surprise. The mainstream media has been running cover since his election campaign began in 2008, and as such, Americans working harder by the day to provide for their families, perhaps got their first glimpse of the character, or lack thereof, of our Commander in Chief.

Dinesh D'Souza, with his work on Obama, most notably in his book "The Roots of Obama's Rage", has been informing the public for years the basis of the mindset President Obama operates from.

"What really motivates Barack Obama is an inherited rage—an often masked, but profound rage that comes from his African father; an anticolonialist rage against Western dominance, and most especially against the wealth and power of the very nation Barack Obama now leads. It is this rage that explains the previously inexplicable, and that gives us a startling look at what might lie ahead."

The summarization of the points made by D'Souza was in part enhanced this morning on FOX & Friends, when host host Steve Doocy interviewed Dr. Keith Ablow.  In analyzing the behavior and rhetoric recently employed by President Obama, Ablow came to some rather concerning conclusions.  Take a listen:

The analysis of Dr. Ablow regarding President Obama is extremely accurate. Behind the mask, Obama inside feels he was victimized as a youth, that minorities and the poor in this country have been penalized by those who have achieved wealth and prosperity, and he aims to right these perceived wrongs.  This is also true in his feelings about America; her history and prosperity, which he deems fraudulent.

Policies enacted by Obama have been of significant benefit to those who consider themselves victims, and the administration has encouraged many to become victims.  The exponential expansion of unemployment and disability benefits are prime examples.

These actions are in stark contrast to the tenants of individual freedom and personal responsibility outlined among our founding principles. The President is disempowering the citizenry, transforming wealth from those Obama has deemed have to victimized others to obtain to those who were supposedly victimized along the way.

These are the victims he knows so well. Now you know him.

Fear Ratchets Up Nastiness

It is really getting nasty.

Those fighting for freedom are getting blasted from the progressives within both parties who in their arrogance seek to gain further control of the citizenry through expanding government.

Add FOX News Anchor Arthel Neville to the list of ill informed imbeciles who distort the facts and employ condescending ridicule to confuse the audience in effort to control the dialogue on important issues.  Get a listen to the hit job on Texas GOP Congressman Louie Gohmert.

WOW!  This was on FOX News Channel, if you noticed.

In some background, Senator Claire McCaskill, D:MO, recently accused Gohmert and others for grandstanding at the US WWII Memorial and of playing politics on the backs of veterans.  FOX News interviewed Gohmert, placing a crawler beneath labeling him as having to respond to the allegations he was playing politics with veterans, as if he had been deemed guilty.

Never mind that is actually President Obama, despicably so, that is the orchestrator of using the veterans, who his actions dictate a loathing of, in political games.  I missed the interviews with administration members calling them out for their unacceptable and anti-American behavior.

Rep. Gohmert is definitely on the progressive hit list, but it was a bit unsettling to see him attacked in such a juvenile manner on FOX News.  The viewership appropriately filled out the scorecard, and we took notice.

I find it quite puzzling that those in the media continue to hammer Rep. Gohmert, Sen. Cruz, R:TX, and Sen. Lee, R:UT, for fighting against for freedom when it is President Obama and his administration that are at fault for placing the country in economic peril.

Arthel Neville demanded honest talk from Gohmert, but she skirted the truth repeatedly in effort to win points assumably for her progressive allies, which she failed miserably at doing.  Please see the following points:

*Neville correctly points out public polling scores the Congress with historic lows, but fails to note that President Obama has an all time low in his approval rating as well.

* Neville is worried the "brand" of the GOP is being harmed, seemingly for not adhering to the demands of President Obama and joining forces to end the standoff. Sadly, the GOP has compromised; over and over again.  President Obama and Sen. Reid, D:NV, are the ones who has stated triumphantly he will not negotiate.  Since the House are the appropriators, this places Obama in a rather tight spot.

*Neville suggested the low polling was due to GOP members not doing the Chris Christie waltz with Obama. But the GOP brand has been harmed due to party leaders not standing on the founding principles of the party, joining progressive big government counterparts in aiding the decline of prosperity here in America. Those are the GOP members who will feel the wrath at the ballot box.

*Neville demands a clear resolution, failing to note the Senate had not produced a budget and that Obama has presented budgets that have not received one, not one, vote.  The only clear bill would be the GOP "caving" to the demands of President Obama, which is total capitulation, an idea that would no doubt warm the heart of Ms. Neville but would in contrast to the conservative base of the GOP, of which I am a member.

The bottom line is that those in power will stop at no effort to retain it, and as evidenced by them ratcheting up the fight at every turn, from the media attacks and wreckless rhetoric of elected officials aiming to discredit and ridicule opponents to the escalated and illegal efforts in controlling citizen behavior, it can be noted their level of fear of those who aim to limit their power has them alarmed.

Fearful of losing, nudge moves to shove, which increases the opportunity for civil unrest, an event they are hoping for.  As it continues to get nasty, we must continue to act in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr.  Let them show their faces from behind the mask, and the public will see those who seek to limit freedom of and embark on tyranny on we the people.

We hold the winning hand in the end.

OUT: Northwestern (17) and Michigan (19).

VOTES: Oklahoma State, Utah, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Michigan State, Michigan, Texas and UCF.

NATIONAL ANALYSIS:  Missouri got a signature victory at Georgia on Saturday.  Due to decimating injuries, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, the Bulldogs were down to their third string running back and fourth team wide receiver, forcing quarterback Aaron Murray to carry the offensive load while a young Dawg defensive unit comes together.  Murray could not get it done on this day, with quarterback James Franklin leading a balanced and potent Tiger attack.  However, Mizzou can get too excited because Franklin went down with a shoulder injury and is lost for the remainder of the regular season.....LSU smothered the Florida Gators at Baton Rouge. While the Gators have an elite defense, they are pedestrian on offense and are glaringly absent of playmakers, which forecasts at least a couple more losses, perhaps starting at the aforementioned Missouri next weekend.....Clemson was asleep as visiting Boston College, a noticeably improving team, took a lead into the third quarter before the Tigers prevailed.  The Seminoles visit on Saturday.....Utah upset top ranked Stanford at home, a huge victory for the Utes.  Utah is a tough place to play, as the Cardinal found out. Stanford is having some issues on offense, which has now come with a heavy cost in the form of being knocked out of national title contention.....Oregon defeated a stout Washington team in a hostile road environment, cementing the Ducks as a top contender for the national title....The Texas Aggies again had issues getting Ole Miss beat, sneaking away with a victory, which included a huge scare involving the knee of Johnny Football, who thankfully was not seriously injured....Since Arizona was able to win last year, the Wildcats thought it would be easy to take out a USC embroiled in a coaching change, but the Trojans came out inspired and got the win....Former Trojan Coach Lane Kiffin joined ESPN Gameday and comported himself very well in an interview with host Chris Fowler....Oklahoma thought Texas was an easy win, but got spanked in the Red River Rivalry exposing the softness many have often suspected of the Sooners. While Mack Brown might by in trouble, one has to wonder about Bob Stoops as well, as OU continues to underachieve....The ineptitude of Michigan finally got the Wolverines as they fell in 4OT at Penn State, who was just about as bad.  Who cold have imagined the UM faithful would longing for the days of Lloyd Carr?....Louisville, who did not look good in a nationally televised ESPN Thursday night game in defeating Rutgers, nor QB Teddy Bridgewater, showed the high standards necessary for national honors at the end of the season....South Carolina destroyed Arkansas, with Gamecock coach Spurrier noting how sad it was for the Hogs to take a loss like that, especially on homecoming weekend....Maryland barely beat a struggling Virginia, no doubt still wounded from the debacle in getting sandblasted at FSU last week....Wisconsin dismantled Northwestern, who seemed mentally out after the tough loss to Ohio State last week...The demise of Colorado over the last twenty years is mind boggling, noted by being down 47-6 to Arizona State at the half last night.....Oregon State seems to have gotten righted as the bombed Wazzu on the road....Miss. State barley beat Bowling Green....BYU defeated a most disappointing Georgia Tech.

For those who may be new readers, we offer game analysis of the two teams we have allegiance with; Florida State and Nebraska, in the order their games were played over any given weekend.

With starting quarterback Taylor Martinez out with turf toe and a youthful defensive unit experiencing a boatload of growing pains, to have the first road trip of the season to be against struggling Purdue is just what the doctor ordered.  Purdue came out ready to play, which was good as the Cornhuskers need to continue to face adversity in preparation for the difficulties coming later down the road.  Tommy Armstrong II, who has been playing quite well in relief of T-Magic, had a real rough day.  The decision to play both Armstrong II and Ron Kellogg III proved insightful, as it was the mature play of Kellogg III that would lead the Big Red offense on this day.  A hefty dose of Ameer Abdullah running the ball allowed the 'Huskers to win the day.  For some reason, the receiving core, which has been a strength, struggled once again, which is about to get concerning.  Sadly, the best player on the offensive line, Spencer Long, hurt a knee and it does not look good, which would be a devastating loss for Nebraska.  Purdue runs the kind of offense suited for the Blackshirts to excel, similar to Michigan State, and the Boilers had a rough day off it. CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste was ejected on a bullcrap call, but the a strong effort up front stifled the Purdue attack.  While his game is yet complete, Randy Gregory is showing signs of being a dominating player at defensive end.  The 44-7 win, with Jonathan Rose getting burnt on a long touchdown pass with less than a minute left ruining the shutout, was exactly the kind of day the Big Red needed.  There is much work to do, and still some time to make great strides with a bye next week and a trip to Minnesota following.  It is noted that many in the media and some fans have been advocating some sort of QB controversy, but that line of thinking we consider ill informed and ridiculous, as when healthy, the fleet footed Taylor Martinez is, well, magic.  Both Husker Mike of Cornnation and Tom Shatel of the Omaha World Herald have more in putting this fire out.  With Martinez back at the helm, Nebraska can still reach great heights in 2013, taking one game at a time.  With defense is growing, and a lot of youngsters are getting very valuable playing time, and some of these guys have very bright futures, which may start showing up during the critical November slate.

FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS:

FSU was off this week, but will face #3 Clemson in Death Valley on Saturday night on ABC.  This is the highest ranked contest of ACC teams facing one another since the Seminoles joined the conference. The winner of this game is in real good shape going forward, particularly Clemson. Gene Williams and Warchant.com has a great article on the ramifications of the game.  Who will win it?  As Coach Bobby Bowden would say; we're fixin to find out.

Time To Blitz Barack

Rush Limbaugh relishes the video as one of his favorites.

The video was from back in 2006 when the approval rating of George Bush fell to 32%, and Wolf Blitzer, on his CNN program "The Situation Room", could not have been more thrilled.

"It's 4 p.m. here in Washington. So you're getting the first look right now at our brand-new poll. The president's job approval rating has taken a downward turn again, falling to only 36%." is how Blitzer gleefully introduced the burning political issue of the day.

Blitzer was not the only mainstream media host or program blitzing Bush in those days, or any day for that matter. The negativity bombarding Bush was beyond relentless, and some even questioned his ability to hold the office, and his mental capacity.

On Wednesday, as the government shutdown marks days on the calendar, as Limbaugh highlighted, an Associated Press story was syndicated with the headline "No Heroes In Shutdown, GOP Gets Most Blame." As AP sees it in their supposed neutrality, it is the fault of the GOP the country finds itself in such tremendous peril.

Should anyone reading the story make it eight paragraphs deep, and most will not, the reader will discover that while the GOP gets most of the blame, the approval rating for President Obama has fallen to 37%.  Hello Wolf?

As you can imagine, there were no breaking news bulletins on the likes of CNN, MSNBC or even FOX News Channel, where it was reported along with other noteworthy political issues of the day, and there were plenty.  The Drudge Report linked to the AP story; however, nobody was thought to have marked where they were on this day to witness the actions of a president "coming home to roost", as Blitzer trumpeted.

This high level of media bias is sadly expected.  As Limbaugh has ofter correctly noted, there is no news, only a propraganda maching of the Democratic Party.  The evidence reasonably supports his contention, time and time again.

However, other than another glaring example of media bias, a more telling piece of information which requires some insightful analysis is discovered.

George W. Bush was repeatedly hammered by the mainstream media for a multiude of reasons, most notably due to the war in Iraq.  Given the onsluaght of relentless and widespread attacks on Bush, it almost seems surprising his prroval rating was so high.

President Obama
The mainstream media finds President Obama as a president for the ages, an apolitical individual of diversity and extreme intelligence who is uniquely equipped to engage and solve all the issues our country faces. Heck, in all his arrogance, he can even rename the Washington Redskins should political correctness demand it.

Lies amid doublespeak, immeasurable incompetence and the breaking of laws be damned, the media continues to smother the public with adulation of this man, failing in criminally complicit fashion to present the "promised" transparency of this imperial administration.

Given, as Bernie Goldberg noted, the slobbering love affair the media has with Obama, it is amazing his approval rating has sank so low. Perhaps the recent events of the government shutdown, in which the President has behaved in a immature, petulant and spitefull manner, the eyes of many a "distracted" citizen have been opened.

It is my contention that if the media was in fact a fourth leg of government operating as the eyes and ears of the public, performing necessary checks and balances of the duly elected government, the approval rating of President Obama would be fortunate to exceed single digits.

In fact, he would be impeached. Time To Blitz Barack

Obamaville Sneak Attack

Welcome to Obamaville/HT The Burning Platform
This is classic.  There they are; the FBI, NSA, IRS and DOJ, waiting to hit you with a sneak attack. If you were wondering why the EPA was not pictured on a motorcycle, their representatives were traveling by foot house to house in efforts to restrict the rights of property owners in Obamaville.

With the majority of the country distracted by the guilty pleasures of life, coupled with a lack of accepting the responsibility of being an informed citizen, America has entered the greatest speed trap of all time; Obamaville.

If those whose attention has been diverted do not get straight in a hurry, we all may be trapped in a country ran by an oppressive government of central planners restricting the freedom and liberty of the citizenry.

Please wake your neighbors up!

Making Trouble

Our country is in peril on multiple fronts, much of it by design, and Justice Jeanine Pirro has yet another timely and spot on essay as her opening statement on her weekend program on FOX News Channel.

I find it difficult to add to this upper deck grand slam by Judge Jeanine.  Please take a listen:

The power brokers in Washington DC, most certainly inclusive of our President, are not held accountable and increasingly operate outside of the rule of law, ushering in and governing under political correctness and limiting the status of history and faith in our culture.

Sadly, the majority of the country seems to be the preoccupied trivial culture Aldous Huxley warned we would become, and while we are distracted, our system of laws and governance are being broken apart set to fall into a reconstructed system in contrast to what our founders outlined.

We had better get dialed in quickly.

As David Horowitz noted in his "Barack Obama's Rules For Revolution: The Alinsky Model", change is brought about through relentless agitation and “trouble making” of a kind that radically disrupts society as it is.  Horowitz is correct in stating Obama does not want unity. He wants division.

As demonstrated by the events of the government shutdown, it is Obama and the government that has been inflicting pain on the citizenry, through economic and social policies.  It is dividing our nation, on purpose, and crashing the system Cloward and Piven style.

There is no doubt while the federal government employs the fundamental transformation of America, as Glenn Beck has accurately noted, it has moved from nudge to shove, poking the eye of the citizenry, creating chaos and establishing a backdrop for the government to be sought after by the public to make it stop when the lawlessness and chaos becomes too much to bear.

If you were wondering why the Feds are purchasing all those guns and ammo, obtaining those military style vehicles and establishing a civilian army, we are only an "event" from the government becoming strongly top down to control what they deem a dangerous climate.

Does Peter Shciff adequately described an upcoming "event"?

NATIONAL ANALYSIS:

With the once mighty Texas Longhorns knocking on the door at the Iowa State 2 yard line, the Cyclones needed someone to make a play to seal the upset victory.  ISU linebacker Jeremiah George, who was all over the field on this night, stole the ball from Longhorn running back Jonathan Gray and began racing to paydirt. But, the zebras had other ideas, calling Gray down.  Multiple replays, inclusive of one with sound indicating the whistle had not blown prior to George grabbing possession, convinced everyone it was ISU ball.  Except the officials.  Texas, who retained possession after fumbling again on the next play, scored a TD to win 31-30 at Ames.  ISU Coach Paul Rhoads was not pleased, blasting the officials.  Rhoads has since been reprimanded, but I stand with him.  This was big for the 'Clones, and the officials blew it.  Everyone, except the officials, know it.

The Hurricanes outscored Georgia Tech in the scorching sun at SunLife Stadium, and while Miami is climbing the latter with confidence in the aftermath of their win over Florida, Georgia Tech, with 18 starters returning, is a major disappointment.....As is North Carolina, who got bombed by East Carolina last week and stumbled at Va. Tech on Saturday....Minnesota Coach Jerry Kill missed the Gopher game at Michigan after having yet another seizure, reportedly his fifth since 2011.  Kill has the Gophers playing their best football in a decade or more, but the seizure business is becoming troublesome.....As my friend Ashley accurately pointed out, Vanderbilt is a good team experiencing some internal turmoil, but few thought visiting Missouri would take them to the woodshed....South Carolina All American DE Jadeveon Clowney informed Coach Steve Spurrier he would not be playing this weekend, causing Spurrier to answer media questions....Clemson blasted Syracuse at the Carrier Dome and awaits FSU to Death Valley....OU defeated TCU at Norman, and will face Texas in the Red River War at the Texas State Fair in Dallas on high noon Saturday....The Florida Gators handled Arkansas at The Swamp, but a trip to LSU, who came back to blast Mississippi State, where Florida is matched in the trenches, is next....Michigan State found some offense and beat Iowa, who had been playing better...Oregon has scored over 56 in each of their first five games, overcoming a slow start to win at Colorado...UCLA won at Utah...Indiana blasted Penn State for their first win over the Lions, and the Hoosiers are better than most people think....Ball State throttled Virginia in Charlottesville, and that will put the coaching staff on the hot seat even though recruiting is going very well....Another unexpected ACC outcome was in Wake Forest winning comfortably against NC State....After getting smothered at Alabama, Ole Miss then got punked at Auburn...Georgia barely defeated Tennessee at Rocky Top, losing RB Keith Marshall perhaps for the season and two top receivers for the game if not much longer. The Vols fumbled away a potential score in overtime, which gave UGA a chance to kick and win it, which the Dawgs did....Ohio State went out on the road and took care of business beating a strong Northwestern team, and now the Buckeyes should be undefeated to the B1G Tile game.....UCF was pitiful in front of a sparse crowd at Memphis but came back to win in dramatic fashion, scoring a TD then knocking out the ensuing kickoff returner to cause and recover a fumble returning it for a score.  Knight fans were clamoring for QB Bortles and RB Storm Johnson to get going, but could only manage light precipitation.....Baylor is flat lethal on offense, and the Big XII may be theirs for the taking...Make no mistake, Washington is a very good football team, and the Huskies almost won at Stanford, but the Cardinal responded to meet the challenge and remain top ranked.

For those who may be new readers, we offer game analysis of the two teams we have allegiance with; Florida State and Nebraska, in the order their games were played over any given weekend.

NEBRASKA ANALYSIS:

In advance of the game, HLN TV's Morning Express with the lovely Robin Meade hosted their new segment "Rivalry Express" which highlighted among other things the hair of WR Kenny Bell and the delicious Runza, fan favorites to be sure.

In the real estate appraisal business, it is noted that one sale does not a market make, and certainly, one game does not define a college football season, but one has to credit the much maligned staff at Nebraska for making noticeable strides on the defensive side of the ball after the volatile high beta efforts during the non conference schedule.  Coming off a bye week, the defensive staff went back to basics with the young group, working on the mental aspects and personnel evaluation.  As I have been critical, I must credit the staff for the bye week adjustments. Illinois is not Oregon, but the Illini have a seasoned signal caller and have demonstrated the ability to move the football.  While it was not always, pretty, plays were made when necessary, turnovers were created and it was well into the third quarter, with the game seemingly decided, before Illinois found paydirt.  The first road trip is at struggling Purdue next week, so the development of the defensive unit can continue.  Offensively, QB Taylor Martinez was out again, and Tommy Armstrong put in another strong performance in his place.  Ameer Abdullah ran strong, and WR Kenny Bell responded from a poor outing last week with an ESPN on handed catch for a TD.  The offensive line has their best game of the year.  For whatever reason Nebraska failed in alarming fashion hosting UCLA, the offense cane score and the defense is showing signs of coming together.  Several defensive youngsters have caught our eye, and the talent is there for this unit to be difference makers down the road.  The B1G Championship is still achievable, maybe more; however, progress will have to continue to be made, particularly on defense.  Those adjustments seemed to take a significant step forward against Illinois, although one decent outing is only a building block and not a season maker.  The place kicking, which missed 2 XP, is becoming an area of concern.

FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS:

Over at ESPN, both Dari Nowkah and Mark May predicted Maryland would upset Florida State in Tallahassee. So much for the fear of the turtle.  The Seminole defensive unit had by far their best game, using their athleticism to cover the field, helping to curtail the high flying wide receiver tandem Maryland has.  After a quick score, FSU seemed to bog down offensively again, but then got going again building a 21-0 halftime lead. Behind brilliant quarterback Jameis Winston, who again provided ESPN with several highlight film exhibits, when the Seminoles get going, they get going scoring in bunches. FSU has a bevy of talented and tough running backs, and an elite receiving core.  The line is emerging, but was hampered on this day as Byron Stork, the starting center, left the game early with a concussions.  Defensively, the Seminoles were stingy, and two deeps were contributing early and often, helping to build a deep, talented and experienced unit.  FSU played their best game on both sides of the ball heading into a bye week before traveling to Death Valley in Clemson, where FSU has not won in over a decade.  This game will be of the utmost importance, with the winner having the ability to reach stellar heights.  From what we have seen from Winston, with media folks exceeding seat limits on the nationwide bandwagon, he may be the difference maker.  Make sure to buckle the chin strap on October 19.  8PM.

No Toleration For Politicizing Veterans

Per The Right Scoop

Mark Levin warned everyone on Capitol Hill that if they lay a hand on the WWII vets at the memorial to arrest them for visiting their own memorial, he’ll bring a half a million people to march on Washington. He says it will ignite a movement like they’ve never seen before:

I want to say this loud and clear to the people on Capitol Hill who are listening, to this administration. You lay one damn hand on one of those World War II vets at that memorial and I’ll bring half a million people to that damn memorial! You got that?!

I’m sitting here stewing thinking about this – playing these damn games? You’ll ignite a movement in this country like you’ve never seen before! The biker patriot army – veterans from all over the country, every single war and battle in this country, Republican, Democrat, Independent, whatever!

I’ll be damned if one president, with his feet up on the desk in the oval office, with a smirk on his face, looking at his golf card…I’ll be damned if this president or anybody else is going to shut down that WWII memorial. Period! These men are in their 80s and 90s.

So let me repeat! You lay one hand on one of those men and arrest them for going to their memorial, which they fought for, which was not paid by you dammit, it was paid by the American people – we will come out of every town and city in this nation! We will come out of every county. And both coasts! Both borders! And we will march on Washington against your tyranny!

You’ve been warned!

The Great One, Mark Levin, is right on target.

President Obama clearly thinks he in his arrogance is above the law and is not governed by the Constitution, and what is taking place regarding the WWII Memorial is beyond appalling and extremely offensive.

The members of the WWII generation, many of whom are flown via Honor Flight to Washington to see the Memorial honoring them are absolutely our finest and bravest, men who fought so valiantly to protect the freedoms most of us hold so dear.  We can never repay the debt we owe them.

Local radio talk show host Bud Hedinger, scheduled to participate in an Honor Flight from Central Florida later this month on October 19, is fit to be tied.

In the spirit of Martin Luther King and his pledge for non violence, I will join Mark Levin in Washington if necessary, as I will not stand by and allow our WWII veterans to be treated in this fashion by the tyrannical dictator in arrogance we have sadly elected.

Comfortably Progressive Ruling Class

Back in 2009, at a Tea Party rally in beautiful downtown Orlando featuring Rep. Steve King, R:IA, and radio talk show host Mike Gallagher, standing in the background off my right shoulder I noticed a familiar face; John Boehner, R:OH.

Boehner was not advertised as a featured speaker, and it appeared by his demeanor he was sort of scoping out the situation.  Indeed, as you may suspect, Boehner was identified and was asked to speak ao the crowd delivering what one would consider a decent speech noting all the customary rhetoric concerning the encroachment of freedom being engaged upon by our newly elected President.

But, it did not appear Boehner was comfortable.

In fact, Speaker Boehner has never been comfortable with the Tea Party faction of the GOP.  Items and issues have continued to mount since that evening in Orlando, and on this day we can most certainly conclude that Boehner is a progressive republican who is more comfortable with the big government ruling class than those who champion free markets and the Constitution.

Two recent issues are worth noting.  First, Speaker Boehner has failed to step up with leadership in the investigation surrounding the most troubling events in Benghazi, at a minimum standing in the background reminiscent of the aforementioned Orlando evening.

Emerging today is an alarming series of emails between the chiefs of staffs of Speaker Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, whom we find a disgusting individual, working together to have the President to carve them out of the requirement of Obamacare behind the public eye while employing public rhetoric to the contrary.

The Democrats, and perhaps the progressive republicans, may welcome this type of chicanery within their ranks, but those of us in Tea Party, and I would hope most Americans, find it offensive.

But do Republicans and Democrats actually exist anymore? Some say no, and they are likely correct.

Glenn Beck recently interviewed Mark Leibovich of The New York Times, author of the new book "This Town" discussing this theory in some detail.  Please take a listen:

It sure seems a three party system is where we are at; the far left communists, the interior progressive ruling class and the Tea Party Constitutionalists.  Those in the middle are the careerists Leibovich refers to; folks like the Clintons, John McCain and John Boehner.

For the citizenry living in the middle, who seemingly find moderates for either party acceptable, one has to wonder if they are aware of the expansive governmental control surrounding them due to this miscalculation.  The unprecedented intrusion of the NSA, IRS and EPA and Obamacare waivers for big business and the ruling class are recent examples.

Some of the voters simply throw their hands into the air, disengaged, not only by the distractions of the day outlined in the works of Aldous Huxley but by the thought that those in contest are essentially the same, therefore placing little relevance regarding their vote.

This line of thinking was eloquently chronicled in an outstanding piece by Angelo Codevila, titled America's Ruling Class - And the Perils of Revolution in The America Spectator in 2010.  "The only serious opposition to this arrogant Ruling Party is coming not from feckless Republicans but from what might be called the Country Party -- and its vision is revolutionary."  This is a must read.

One thing is for sure.  The current blueprint is unsustainable, and if we don't take the necessary steps to end the madness and employ the vision from the first Reagan inaugural speech by reawakening this industrial giant, forcing government back within its means in every arena and by lightening our punitive tax burden, we are destined for darkness.

Free market capitalism is the best path to prosperity, allowing entrepreneurship and individualism to flourish unleashing freedom and liberty across the fruited plain.  Political action, from any party, to the contrary restricting these founding principles should be vehemently rejected, while still possible.
