REALLY?????

"Not one day – not twenty-four hours after the Chattanooga jihad mass murder – the symbol of American individualism, capitalism, and the capital of the world, the Empire State Building, one of the foremost symbols of American freedom, celebrated the Muslim 'holiday' of Eid al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan." --Pamela Gellar

What has become of us?

Are we so apathetic and intoxicated on irrelevance that we do not appreciate this great country.  Are we at a point where we surrender our liberties and freedom without a fight?

It sure looks that way.

Red Alert for Land of Bronx Bombers

An election is being held in Manhattan on Tuesday which is not only significant for the City, but will have impact across the nation as well.

A review of the polling indicates New York City will elect Bill DeBasio in a landslide as the nest mayor of the city replacing an individual in Micheal Bloomberg, who in dictatorial fashion placed an unjustified level of importance on himself while turning the city, and attempting to turn the nation into a nanny state.

Bill DeBasio may be swell guy to have a cold one with at The Playwright Tavern, but his political background and positions are at extreme odds to those presented by our founding fathers. Certainly, we recognize that New York City is bastion of liberalism, but I doubt it has fallen victim to communism.  After all, this is home to Babe Ruth and the Bronx Bombers for crying out loud.

But New York City, obviously a trivial culture drowning in a sea of egotism and irrelevance, is sadly poised to elect a Communist as Mayor. Please alert any New Yorkers you know that they are set to relinquish freedom and liberty not only in Manhattan, but across the nation.

Glenn Beck takes an extensive look at DeBlasio, and perhaps some of the folks that find his candidacy enticing will think differently if they spent some time engaged in the responsibility of researching candidates. Take a listen:

Citing the unrivaled work of DeBlasio as a public advocate, otherwise know as a community organizer in full scale promotion of class warfare and socialism, in a shocking development The New York Times has editorialized support for DeBlasio.

Enlightened by common sense, many warn New York City screaming for the citizenry to Stop Red Bill.

Should DeBlasio become mayor, get ready for Muslim holidays to be added to school calendars, an abomination to be sure.  While the Muslim community campaigns hard for DeBlasio, hopes are high that is elected DeBlasio will help push for local and state laws to be re-written for the collective one family objectives as an extension of political correctness.

There are many who are sounding the alarm, inclusive of Trevor Loudon and Pamela Geller, who are leaders in identifying connections in terrorism, and the anti-American actors masquerading as standard gatekeepers of the promise of Uncle Sam and are active in blocking the slow creep of socialism and the increasing Muslim influence in our communities.

DeBlasio is an impostor, an individual who does not share the vision of the founders and has actively fought against the interests of The United States of America.  He is an opponent of freedom, and should in no way shape or form find himself anywhere the mayoralship of our beloved NYC.

Caveat Emptor!

And while we are on the subject of elections taking place on Tuesday, Terry McAuliffe, a true ass kisser associate of the Clintons is slightly ahead in his run for the Governorship of Virginia.  McAuliffe should not be elected if he were running against Bart Simpson, but the land of the Cavaliers and Hokies have a true man of character in Ken Cuccinelli, who share the ideals that are common to those who believe in the promise of America as founded.

We are counting on our friends in New York and Virginia to recognize and reject the evil path they are being asked to take, one which restricts freedom and liberty for all.

Mega Mosque Masquarade

The Mega Mosque at Ground Zero is becoming quite the media darling. The exponential increase in coverage of this controversy has me looking at what the other hand is doing.

Not surprisingly, the mainstream media has taken their marching orders and is firing pro mosque propaganda on all cylinders. Over at CNN, on Anderson Cooper 180, guest host John Roberts interviewed Pamela Geller and essentially fingered her as the architect of stirring up the controversy, not bothering to consider over 60% of Americans and over 70% on New Yorkers are against the mosque being constructed in the proposed location.

Now, the Associated Press has issued a directive to continue to avoid the phrase "ground zero mosque" or "mosque at ground zero" on all platforms. Maybe if the media instructs us uninformed rednecks that the site is not in view of Ground Zero, we will believe it. Let me be clear. As I have said in the past, the Ground Zero Mosque is quite appropriate a name for the Cordoba Project. Although, I do have a fondness for Hamosque, courtesy of Rush Limbaugh.

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D:CA), called for an investigation of those against the mosque at Ground Zero. Awash in her own arrogance, Pelosi is nothing short of appalling. Debra Burlingame, of the 9/11 Families for a Strong America, discussed Pelosi on Fox & Friends this morning.

It would be hard to believe that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a progressive who cannot contain his excitement regarding the prospective mosque, has any meaningful support remaining given the job he has been doing.

Count America's Mayor, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, among those against Bloomberg and against the construction of the Ground Zero mosque.

I am beginning to think the whole mosque episode is an example of the Overton Window theory. Yep, the same theory Glenn Beck's best selling book, The Overton Window, is centered around. Instigate some discussion outside the main boundaries and then walk the discourse back, resting at a place and "moving the window" closer to the desired area of discussion.

I continue to applaud the efforts and leadership of the mainstream media's villain, Pamela Geller, and others including Debra Burlingame, in leading the opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque.

The terrorists are still trying to kill us. Make a decision. You are with us, or against us.

Come Out of the Cave America

The movement to build an Islamic mega mosque in the shadows of Ground Zero, for reasons I cannot grasp, continues to gain steam.

I find this extremely troubling, and the following piece from Acts 17 Apologetics heightens my already elevated concern. Take a listen:

Here is more on the subject as FOX News Sean Hannity interviews Robert Spencer of JIHADWATCH.ORG and Debra Burlingame of 9-11 Families for a Safe & Strong America, whose brother was the pilot of the hijacked American Airlines flight 77 which crashed into the Pentagon.

With the City Commission strongly supporting to mosque, there are only a few avenues left to stop the construction: the site being designated a historical landmark or illegalities with the funding of the mosque. Although there is a loud cry to investigate the funding, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg called such an investigation un-American.

I am beyond outraged. Like many Americans, I took 9-11 personally and not a day goes by I don't think about the terror brought on our country on that day. The following picture I took on December 9, 2001 and as you can see, we have portions of the Twin Towers still smoldering.

I am still smoldering, and I hope enough Americans share my outrage to stop the construction of the mega mosque. Among those who do is Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs, who continues to lead the way opposing the mosque.

The Landmark Commission meets on July 13, 2010 at 2PM EST at the corner of Lexington and 68th. The time is now to be heard. Exhibit discipline, but question with boldness.

Dereliction of Duty

As the oil continues to gush from the collapse of the Deep Horizon oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, President Obama sits down with Matt Lauer of The Today Show to express his anger:

Obama indicates he is not talking to experts in some sort of college seminar, which is a major departure from how he has governed throughout, but looking to identify whose ass to kick. After BP CEO Tony Hayward, perhaps a mirror would be useful. Pamela Gellar of Atlas Shrugs agrees

The continued insistence that the administration has been on top of things is deceitful. Here on the blog I hammered Obama on this and among others, Investors Business Daily has followed up. From The New Zeal comes this video:

Unfortunately, while Obama is looking to kick someones ass, the environmental and economic fallout of this spill are almost immeasurable. What is needed immediately is leadership, as the implications of this going forward appear catastrophic.

A report from Texas A&M outlined by CNN Money tells a dire tale of the economic impact. The four biggest industries in the Gulf of Mexico are oil, tourism, fishing and shipping, and they account for some $234 billion in economic activity each year, according to a 2007 study done by regional scholars and published by Texas A&M University Press. In the Gulf, each of these industries have perhaps been dealt a fatal blow. We all might get hit if the oil travels around Florida and up the eastern seaboard. And what if the inlet to enter The Mighty Mississippi is compromised and shut down shipping?

When you think about it, this is beyond alarming and comes at a horrendous time economically, given this administration has escalated our nations debt to unsustainable levels. This kind of unforeseen disaster presents the kind of problem a prudent government would consider borrowing to assist, not pushing thorough a partisan health care bill 63% of Americans want repealed while tripling debt levels.

The world appears on fire, and the idiotic decisions being made by this administration on just about every front makes the case for a dereliction of duty by our elected leadership and leave this nation in great peril. When a disaster of the the magnitude of the Gulf Oil Spill is added to the mix, perhaps forecasting a double dip recession, this country is left quite vulnerable. Don't think for a moment we are not the only folks who recognize it.

Palin and the Good Ole Boys

Last Saturday night, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin addressed the Tea Party Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. I was busy with the NASCAR Budweiser Shootout, so I had to catch the excerpts. In the event you missed it also, here is a well done recap:

While her delivery was not as sharp as it has been in the past, her message is spot on regarding the state of our union under the leadership, or lack thereof, of President Obama.

Although the left thinks Palin lacks intelligence and is a complete non-factor in the political world, the moonbat pundits immediately scrambled to unleash attacks on every venue possible. Among of the outlets that caught my eye were The Colbert Report, the despicable Joy Behar on HLN, who made the mistake of inviting Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs, who slapped Behar and guest Ron Reagan around something silly and Time Magazine's Joe Klein, who thinks he is much smarter than those in the flyover states.

Klein has had it in for Palin since she emerged on the scene and wasted no time in continuing his attacks after her speech. Glenn Beck took time out, in his brilliant wit, to put the elitist Klein in his place. Check this out:

Centerpiece in the attacks is that Sarah Palin wrote some notes on the inside of her hand, which, of course, to the Obamabots, confirms her idiocy. Pay no mind that Obama travels with truckloads of teleprompters, even recently using them to speak to group of elementary school children.
Here is the real story. The left, and particularly those in the lamestream media, carry the Kool-Aid for Obama, are elitists, despise the tea party protesters and hard working small business owners in middle America and attack those who threaten them in coordinated efforts. Top on that list is Sarah Palin.

While the left wing elites and moonbats are basking in the glory of the Obama administration trainwreck, many of those they despise will gathered Sunday afternoon in front of FOX television or live in person, including me, at The World Center of Racing, Daytona International Speedway, for the running of the Great American Race, the Daytona 500. An invited speaker will address the drivers at the pre-race drivers meeting: Sarah Palin.

No doubt that the NASCAR nation, comprised of a swath of America from large corporations to small business owners, will welcome Palin and hope she enjoys the good ole boys at the high banks when they cut them loose. Talk about a real scramble!
