The Eagle Will Fly

As most Americans were preparing for Super Bowl Sunday, as reported by Bloomberg, Goodyear (GT:NYSE) the largest U.S. tiremaker, will close its main French plant and cut its workforce in the country by 39 percent amid labor disputes and plunging auto demand in Europe.

Why Goodyear has a plant in France is puzzling, but given the five years of negotiations with workers to resolve labor disputes with union leaders, the closing of this plant could not come as a shock.  Imagine that, unions making unrealistic demands and killing jobs.  Who could have seen this coming?

On the heels of regrettable slavery issues and some rather disturbing worker relations as the industrial revolution was emerging in our country, there can be no doubt that union representation played an important role in our history.

The French are notorious for hardly working, as evidenced by union victories against employers inclusive shortened work weeks and increased vacation. It would be great to hang our all the time, but nothing constructive comes from an inefficient work force handicapped by uncompetitive workers demands.

As such, Titan International, (TWI:NYSE) who specializes in tires for farm equipment and off-highway vehicles and acquired the Goodyear North American farm tire assets in 2005, was rumored to potentially be a purchaser of the plant.  No so fast!

Maurice Taylor, Chairman of Titan, wrote a letter to the French industry ministry informing them the company would not be purchasing the plant, citing French workers as "lazy" and "overpaid".  Taylor, it was reported, noted the French work force get "one hour for breaks, talk for three hours and work for three."  No doubt, that workforce will be unable to compete our global economy.

In America, unions have completely infiltrated and infested many large work forces, and the evidence of destruction is truly staggering.  More money is spent on our public school system than just about anything else with very poor scholastic results, alarming indoctrination and inhibiting political correctness.

Union bosses collect fees to line their pockets, elect progressive democrats and increase control over those they have fooled.  Can you imagine being forced to donate money our of your paycheck to thugs who distribute those funds to groups, associations or politicians who are at odds with your beliefs?  Unions are opponents of the free market system, as they establish wage and benefit packages for their workers that exceed common variance of similar packages in the private sector and create inefficient markets. Corporations who have lost these negotiations pay a heavy price and struggle to compete in the marketplace due to their bloated overhead. 

Their socialist objectives, inclusive of wealth transformation, fly in the face of the freedoms our country was based on.

Oppose these union bosses at your own peril, because these thugs do not operate on the same playing field you do. You may recall James Hoffa, Jr. threatening Tea Party members, who advocate free markets and fiscal sanity. The ends do justify the means with this group.

Meanwhile, this was a good decision for Goodyear.  The customers of Goodyear are hard working individuals and families all across the fruited plain, and the tires they travel on are very important. 

But the most demanding customers of Goodyear are the good ole boys who travel NASCAR's Sprint Cup, Nationwide and the Camping World Truck Series on tracks across America.  NASCAR provides a great testing center for research and development, helping Goodyear provide their everyday customers with the best product possible.



This type of excellence in an extremely competitive environment does not allow for the infiltration of impostor representatives who think they know better how the Goodyear workforce should be treated and compensated than the company itself. 

The market will dictate, and as such, that France plant will in fact be closed as opportunities for a more efficient plant location can be identified.

I continue to be a longtime shareholder of Goodyear Tire & Rubber (GT:NYSE),  having once ridden in the famous Goodyear blimp out of Pompano Beach, FL, and International Speedway Corporation (ISCA:NASDAQ).

First On Race Day

I have been a happy GM customer all my automobile driving life. Chevy Trucks and Pontiac cars, with the Wide Track Grand Prix my favorite. Currently, each of one of those sits in the garage.

Then Obama and his biblical wisdom came along, forming a team to bailout the car companies, violate the rule of law screwing the auto bondholders, funnel money to union supporters and end the long running historical Pontiac brand. On top of that, now that the Government controls GM, out comes production of "green initiative" vehicles, such as the Chevy Volt. The Volt, which was on the way to be a sporty success before Obama's team stepped in, is now a cost prohibitive joke.

Ford Motor Company rejected government assistance. Although I am sure they needed help, it seems CEO Allan Mulally knew the costs of teaming up with the government. Taking risk seeking reward without using the taxpayer as a crutch is what America commerce is all about. America knows it, and so does Ford.



Have you driven a Ford lately? I see it in my future.

Now that the government owns GM, also known as Government Motors, they don't take kindly to Ford slamming them and the government in a recent advertisement.

With his poll numbers on a ski slope, the Obama administration, thugs that they are, take action to silence critics, as evidenced by reports the administration has strong armed Ford to pull the ad. The Blaze has the full report, which originally came from The Detroit News.

Although Ford denies they removed the ad due to White House pressure, just like your transmission going south, when there is smoke there is fire. Make no mistake, Ford does not want to be in the cross hairs of the White House, for they punish opponents.

With the government involved in free enterprise, free markets become negatively impacted due to the artificial influence and fail to function at full efficiency.

Needless to say, I am sprinting to the voting booth in November 2012, but in the meantime, I will refrain from supporting companies associated with Obama, which includes GM. And while we are on the subject, my rental properties will be GE appliance free going forward.

Obama Is Destroying America

The Presidency of Barack Obama is destroying America in too many ways to count, but particularly, in each facet of governance.

Obama is governing by executive order, rendering Congress ineffective, shows no regard for the rule of law as evidenced by his takeover of the car companies, uses thuggery on opponents and while governing against the will of the American people, he seems much more interested in directing policy globally rather than domestically. Of particular concern is his complete disregard for the Constitution and the principles, values and faith of our founding fathers.

I have yet to read the book, but I concur completely with Limbaugh's comments during the interview.

America appears to be waking up, although we are in a race against time. If you have neighbors who have yet to see the light, send them a copy of Limbaugh's book. This is a time for choosing, and time is of the essence.

Racial Disturbance Used as Political Pawn

With the overreaching and thugocratic Obama administration going down in flames, there is nothing left for them to do but race over to their base and start a high octane fire. It has begun, and reaching a new level of evil, the excellerant is to toss out a straw man regarding race relations.

Recall back to the voter intimidation that took place on election day in Philadelphia. Roll the tape:



Unless you are blind as a billiby goat, it cannot be any clearer that this is voter intimidation by members of The New Black Panther Party, which is illegal as all get out. It should be illegal and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law as the right of our citizenry to cast a ballot free from external influence is central to the foundation of our republic.

Prior to President Obama taking office, the Department of Justice under President George W. Bush, initiated a case against the two folks in the video. Astonishingly, after winning the case, the DOJ under Obama Attorney General Eric Holder failed to pursue the case with any vigor and now has essentially dropped the charges.

In an explosive interview with FOX News Megyn Kelly, former DOJ employee J. Christian Adams, now claims a racial component is behind a decision to all but drop the charges and that there is a new, troubling policy at the DOJ under Obama and Holder.



Holder, who is by the far the most radical AG in our countries history in my opinion, essentially let these two racists of the hook. Racists, you ask? More video:



And come to find out, this was an orchestrated event and the organizers have obviously gotten the wink wink from The White House that this behavior is acceptable. In addition, they find it funny.



The New Black Panther Party seems to closely resembles a black version of The Klu Klux Klan. Both groups are a bunch of ignorant idiots that preach hate and advocate violence. I am vehemently opposed to both of them.

Although the DOJ is quite busy, suing states, antagonizing police forces and spending every waking hour working on the Gulf Course, you would think they would certainly want penalize activists blatantly exhibiting in voter intimidation would you not? You would be wrong. But why? Is President Obama associated with this group? Did I have to ask that? Glenn Beck was wondering as well:





If did not know better, I would come to the conclusion the administration is creating chaos in race relations in an effort to further gain their progressive political footing. Certainly, outside of the lunatic fringe, members of both parties would be strongly opposed to such policy. That just cannot be happening, can it?

Oh no, just when you think it was a grand illusion, Megyn Kelly got hold of Democratic political strategist Kirsten Powers. This is not pretty. Megyn is, but the interview is not, for Ms. Powers.



I have long concluded the administration is a bunch of thugs, and from the taking over of private companies to forcing health insurance down the throat of the public, the evidence supporting that position is extensive.

If however, the administration is attempting to create chaos in the form of disturbing racial harmony for political gain, it is nothing short of evil and the prompt removal of this President from office should be engaged.

If true, Martin Luther King, who preached about racial equality stressing non violence, would be ashamed. To think the change King fought and died for is now being used as a political pawn is most disturbing. God help us!

Time To Fight The Thugs

We have seen this before. A year ago March, CNN was invited along as ACORN members were bused around to harass AIG employees at their homes. This past week, SEIU thugs trampled upon a Bank of America employees property rights and harassed his family in front of his home. Watch this:



Make no mistake, Bank of America (BAC:NYSE) would be my last preference of banks to do business with, although the Shore Bank in Chicago is giving them a run for their money. I am against BAC.

As far as the woman in the video, while it is unfortunate that her son was killed, I have a list of recommendations.

1. Get a job.
2. Don't buy things you cannot afford, especially big ticket items.
3. Owning a home is not a right.
4. No pay, no stay. Therefore, you should be foreclosed on.
5. Lose the community organizing crowd.
6. Get an appreciation for the rights of our citizens and comport yourself in a respectful manner.

Wow! Is there any question what side anyone with sanity is on?

Now, as Beck points out, Ms. Easton is getting hammered for questioning the antics of the SEIU thugs. See stories HERE and HERE. The Huffington Post even blasts her for failing to disclose her husbands PR firms has ties to BAC. Are you kidding me? These thugs should be in jail for trespassing. Where were the cops anyway? SEIU's John VanDeventer commented "If Nina Easton really wants to see 'personal intimidation,' she should head outside her posh neighborhood and follow along next time Bank of America forecloses on a family." News flash for Mr. VanDeventer! If a family overextended themselves and cannot meet their obligations they indicated they could by signing a contract, then they should be foreclosed on. Furthermore, Bank of America, and other banks, should not have given loans to "sub prime" borrowers and unions of thugs and governmental operatives (ACORN) should not have pressured/threatened banks to lend to these sub prime borrowers as home ownership is not a right.

Interestingly enough, I have been very critical of Nina Easton for seemingly being a total Obama ass kisser, although maybe that was to secure the big interview she got in 2009. Maybe, just maybe, she can recognize the thugocracy the Obama administration is running now that she witnessed it first hand. Should this be the case, what an expose she could pen for the folks over at Fortune Magazine, of which I have been a subscriber of in the past.

It would not take much work on her part, as Mr. Beck has done most, if not all of it, already. How about it Ms. Easton? What say you?

I have had enough of ACORN and SEIU, the role they are playing in our current administration and the actions of civil disobedience and thuggery they perform in advancing their cause. Next time they protest a foreclosure action in Orlando, I will be there standing against them in non violent protest. And I am looking forward to these thugs attempting voter intimidation in November.

Social Justice Storm Infiltrates Churches

As usual, Glenn Beck is shinning the spotlight on unfortunate actions by the progressives, of which many are "behind the scenes" and fly under the radar of most Americans.

One such attack that has been simmering for years is the assault on Christianity. You recall efforts to remove "In God We Trust" from our money, the removal of religious phrases and such from public buildings, the removal of school prayer and the latest item to capture time on the news cycle, the Supreme Court case decision and subsequent theft of the Mohave Desert War Memorial in the Mohave Desert.

However, while you were sleeping, the Obama administration has begun using Chicago thuggery in acquiring a foothold in many faiths to push their environmental, economic and social justice agendas. This is despicable behavior and once again goes against the wishes of our divinely inspired founding fathers. Glenn Beck has more, much more:



Please take time to watch this entire program for a very serious discussion on the internal fight taking place that you may know nothing about but that be integral to your future.

It is clear the progressives are working to infiltrate churches under the premise of "social justice" to gain a stronger foothold from which to advance. While on the surface, social justice may sound harmless, but the reality is it is simply a mechanism for the global transfer of wealth. As of yet, and I have been on the lookout, I have not uncovered any such goings on at the church my family attends. I have heard many a tale of issues elsewhere, and have listened to the cloaking words spoken by government officials on this subject, which I find beyond alarming.

The example Beck shows on the chalkboard about how the progressives have turned the table over in an effort to find vehicles to advance their agenda is not only very compelling, but it is accurate.

I hope you will take time out to get acclimated to what is taking place and stand up against this advance. As I have said, time is of the essence. As BHO's team has proclaimed, all they need is an emergency to take advantage of.

With them purposely wrecking the economy and going lax on the Global War on Terror, I unfortunately can identify two potential areas where emergencies may be looming.

Marine Blasts Congressman

There is a long list of evidence of the left loathing our US Military, from Senator John Murtha calling them out at Haditha, Senator Barbara Boxer disrespecting a Brigadier General to President Barack Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder seeking prosecution of those who kept us safe in the scary aftermath of 9-11.

We are in a major battle for this country right now from enemies and thugs within. While I have been to the local tea parties, I have yet to make a town hall meeting with my Congressman, Alan Grayson, who I have very little regard for.

If I were to attend and get the microphone, it may go something like it did with this Marine.


Unlike many of our elected officials, I thank this Marine for his service and I stand firmly behind him.

Our Parents Democratic Party Highjacked

FOX News Channel's Glenn Beck this week began a series asking questions of the Obama administration no one else seems interested in asking, for whatever reason. Are the media and members of Congress in fear, or are they complicit in the policies being implemented? Obviously, the media is completely in the tank for Obama, particularly the NBC affiliate of networks, save a few outstanding anchors and analyst on CNBC.

The power grab taking place under the Obama administration is nothing short of frightening and one has to wonder where the moderate Democrats are in the debate? Sure, there are the left wing lunatics, but what about the conservative southern Democrats or the Reagan Democrats?

Does not the news media have a responsibility to the citizens? Am I wrong to note the arrogance and thugocracy exhibited by this administration and wonder where the freedom loving elected officials and media members are? Apparently not. Meet Pat Caddell, who formerly worked for the Carter administration and has since become a Democratic pollster and political analyst. He is concerned as well!



The antics going on in Washington are quite alarming. Certainly, as a free market capitalist, I am usually siding with the Republicans, am are registered as such. But the debate now in my mind is no longer Republicans versus Democrats. Amazingly, it now seems it is a big government nanny state versus freedom and capitalism.

Free market capitalism remains the best path to prosperity. The town halls and tea parties indicate the citizenry is not sitting on the sideline. Keep up the fight!

Media Thugery

If you were unaware that the media was completely in the tank for the Obama administration, after witnessing the following interview, you will know.

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell, a deep economic thinker to be sure, has a segment with Euro Pacific Capital's Peter Schiff, who is among the few that predicted the economic troubles we now find ourselves in. Take a listen:

The level of arrogance exhibited by O'Donnell is pathetic. It might be one thing if O'Donnell, a socialist, even dreamed about knowing what he is talking about, but his juvenile behavior is sadly fitting the current antics of the NBC News division, which is owned by General Electric. GE CEO Jeffery Immelt is on Barack Obama's economic council, and GE is set to benefit greatly from the Cap & Trade bill provisions.

For those of you who voted for change, this is likely not the type of change you thought you were getting. But for some, you may have a chance to make some changes. Schiff is entertaining a run for the Senate seat currently held by Chris Dodd, a complete disaster as a public official.

I am much in favor of that type of change!

Thugs Attack America From Within

Unfortunately, the extreme seriousness of the issues take away the humor in the debacle of the Cash For Clunkers program, which is broke after one week.

How anyone could seriously advocate the government taking over our health care system is beyond any sound thinking. Not only have they demonstrated their inability to maintain solvency in most if not all programs, there appears to be a more sinister objective. And to think people were pissed at Bush for the Patriot Act. Where are these people now?

This government is operating like the mafia. If you oppose them, they crush you. Look to the GM and Chrysler car dealers for an example. Among those who provide checks and balances on the actions of the government are the Inspectors General. Remember Gerald Walpin?

Isn't it just great to have 35+ Tsars who answer to the President and are not accountable to the people?

In an outstanding editorial in Investors Business Daily, Michael Barrone gives us a pre-election glimpse of what we are in for. Not enough people were listening.

There are a few in Washington sounding the alarms now, including Darrell Issa, R:CA and Michele Bachmann, R:MN.



While making rousing speeches seemingly daily where crowds are just tickled pink, Obama is doing exactly what he said he would do; Remaking America. Most of the cheering crowds did not get it in the campaign and although many eyes have been opened, most are still asleep.

It is critically important that America opens her eyes and registers the actions of this group of thugs, operating through arms of soldiers like ACORN, kings of civil disobedience. Time is running out as the administration is in a race to pass legislation before most recognize what is going on.

As evidenced by his apology tour, Obama thinks America needs to be different. I reject Obama and his path to remake America, as I am mighty proud to be an American!

A Bunch of Thugs

Remember these fine gentlemen brandishing weapons at a polling place in Philadelphia on election day, November 4, 2008?



This is no doubt voter intimidation and a clear violation of the law (Voting Rights Act) and this cannot happen in America, so when the Obama administration reviewed the case of these Black Panthers, surely they acted accordingly to punish and prohibit this unlawful activity?

Not so fast my friend! The Justice Department dropped the charges, but warned the men not to bring any weapons next time. Are you kidding? Why would these thugs not be punished? Well, apparently, thuggery is welcomed in Obama's world.

Unfortunately, this should not come as a surprise to anyone. We all knew of the long standing associating Obama had with the organization ACORN, who loudly boasts of using terrorist tactics, oh sorry, civil disobedience, to intimidate our citizenry. I have called attention to the orchestrated intimidation of the American International Group executives and the layers of fraudulent activity associated with the housing crisis.

And perhaps the most dangerous example is the abysmal strong arm tactics used in the governmental takeover of General Motors and Chrysler. While contract law, and our Constitution, continues to be trampled under foot by this administration, there is no better example of the antics used to trash small business and threaten free market capitalism to the core. Although the car companies had many issues which inhibited the profit margin, government was the main culprit and has now destroyed the industry. The actions of our government in the demise of these companies, including the ignoring of shareholder rights, is sickening.

Incredibly, examples of thuggery are commonplace in our government these days, and our founding fathers would be appalled at this behavior. If you examine your inner thoughts and beliefs, you recognize this is not right also.

I am sure you don't own a car company, but remember those who turned away when they came for the Jews since they were not Jews. They appear to coming for you, particularly if are a small business owner. Will anyone be left to stand up in your defense?
