Unbelievable But Expected

It is astonishing to think that Jeffrey Epstein, awaiting trial in one of the most highly publicized cases our or time involving sex trafficking and sexual abuse of minors with so many people of power and influence perhaps involved, while on suicide watch could commit suicide.

Obviously, there is something quite not right about the entire situation. Seemingly, as expected, you can add Epstein the to list of the dozens of individuals who were thought to have information damaging to the Clinton's to turn up dead.

However, to off Epstein is the most brazen of them all. To think of how protected those who participated in this act must feel should make you bones shiver.

Attorney General William Barr is appalled and has launched an investigation which reportedly includes the FBI. However, recent actions of protecting the Clinton's in that department destroys the level of confidence in their work in this case.

For many, Epstein was considered to have information which might finally hold some of the despicable power brokers to account, but it has historically failed to happen, and with Epstein's "suicide" the chance of it happening now got all hung up again.

The Clinton's mean business. Govern yourself accordingly.

Victim of Clinton Theft Is You

Self described by Hillary Clinton as leaving The White House broke, the Clinton's have amassed great wealth without selling a product or acquiring ownership of an or any collection of assets. Instead, without permission, the Clinton's sold access to our greatest asset, The United States of America.

That action is and should be considered theft.

And the victim of this theft is you.

As Harry Truman accurately noted, "you can't get rich in politics unless your a crook."

There you have it.

While Haiti Reels, Clinton Pockets Full

As Haiti reels from the devastation of Hurricane Matthew, I wondered how, after such vigorous involvement from the Clinton Foundation, the country remained so ill prepared to face another natural disaster.

"It seems clear that Haitian welfare is not their priority. Their priority is, well, themselves.

The Clintons seem to believe in Haitian reconstruction and Haitian investment as long as these projects match their own private economic interests. They have steered the rebuilding of Haiti in a way that provides maximum benefit to themselves."  Embezzlement

The evidence is clear, as video from Haiti clearly demonstrates, Haiti received little if any benefit.

Where did the money go? Into the Clinton Foundation pockets.

Club Mud

Do you personally know five people who have mysteriously died within the past six weeks? One person?

Hillary Clinton does.

I gave up on coincidence many moons ago.

The Clinton's, and the globalists, are so close, nothing will stand in their way as the seek the presidency by any means necessary, even ushering in guests to that final vacation destination: Club Mud.

Within The Past 2 Months, These Five People Associated With The Clinton's Have Died Mysteriously. Coincidence?

Missing Media Depth Finder

According to a tweet from @CharlesOrtel, "There was no "Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative", authorized as federally tax exempt on 22 February 2006."

As Ortel has well documented, patrolling the depths of fraud associated with the Clinton Foundation requires a very high powered depth finder, which the mainstream media does not own.

Bill Clinton's a lucky bloke, he might avoid a fraud conviction in Australia. Maybe. by Michael Smith of MichealSmithNews.com

Selling the USA

There is quite tangled web involving Russia, and of course, The Clinton Foundation is right in the mix.

"At the heart of the tale are several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One."

The Clinton's have a long history of selling off USA interests for their own personal enrichment. These people need to be in jail, not measuring curtains for another stint in the White House.

Trimming The Bushes

The Bush family has a long legacy in politics in this nation.

Prescott Bush was a Senator from Connecticut, which heavily influenced his son, George Herbert Walker Bush, who became the 41st President of the United States after serving eight years as Vice President under President Ronald Reagan and had perhaps the most distinguished career of any modern day politician.

George H. W. Bush's son, Jeb Bush, currently running for the GOP nomination for president in 2016, was a very successful two term governor of the state of Florida.  Of course, another son, George W. Bush, after a successful two terms as governor of the state of Texas, became the 43rd President of the United States.

Overall, while many disagree with differing policies of the each of the Bush's during their tenures of governance, generally speaking most citizens have a favorable opinion of each of the men and their family.  I fit in that category.

As a Floridian, I though Jeb Bush performed very well as governor of my state. I have overall favorable of the presidencies of both 41 and 43, while I would not consider either among the top presidents in our history.  I am not supporting Jeb in 2016 for the GOP nomination.

The Bush family usually stays above the fray of political for the most part.  George W. Bush has had not one word of criticism of Barack Obama, who seemingly weekly blamed W for every problem he encountered.

But, sadly, over time, the Bush family has felt compelled to bash other republicans.  Former First Lady Barbara Bush had spoke strongly of her distaste for Sarah Palin.  Jeb Bush discussed how the GOP should move away from the policies of Ronald Reagan.

Unlike many, while we had areas of disagreement, we have always held George W. Bush in high regard.

Therefore, from a man of decency who has declined to comment on a president leading our nation to destruction, we were puzzled on his unprompted voiced negativity regarding Sen. Ted Cruz. Glenn Beck has a theory on this, on which we place a high degree of accuracy. On the issue in question, we strongly side with Sen. Cruz, and expansion into the area of question reveals some troubling avenues of concern, inclusive of immigration.

Although I did not really recognize it at the time, both Bush presidents can be classified as progressive, where the idea of government expansion in the lives of the citizenry, something Reagan acted against, is welcomed.  In fact, given the families close relationship with Bill and Hillary Clinton, it would appear they have little problem with the US traveling the same track, just think they can do a btter jog of maneuvering the levers.

It appears, given where Jeb currently stands in the race for the 2016 GOP nomination, the progressive blueprint the Bush family has embraced to political success has been discovered by GOP primary voters and appears to be being soundly discarded.

At least we can recognize that the Bush family are good people, as evidenced by the actions of George W. Bush just today, who on this Veterans Day, visited a group of veterans who were visiting his presidential library in Dallas.

God Bless all our Veterans! We all greatly appreciate your service and sacrifice!

Crony, Phony and Downright Dangerous

Although GOP hopeful Carly Fiorina accurately notes logging mile flying worldwide is an activity and not an accomplishment, Hillary Clinton portrays the book of her life as containing volumes of significant achievement.  With the mainstream media labeling her the most qualified to seek the office of the presidency, which is fall off the stool laughable, it would appear from the dismal turnout on her recent book tour the electorate know better.

Editorial Essay/Micahel Ramirez/Investors.com

It remains an imponderable that seemingly half the country, after all this time, really has no idea who Hillary Clinton really is.  Readers of the blog will recall we have devastated her in previous blog posts, most notably the one describing her as lurking in the shadows.

The Clinton's are everything the Progressives claim to despise. Rich and powerful members of the 1%, they award gifts and access to those who pay for them, engaging in crony capitalism making the system inefficient and crowding our opportunities for those on the outside to achieve success. If the Progressives were legitimate in their quest for the working family, they would run from these folks like their hair was on fire. But, the Progressives are far from who they claim to be, and it should be easily obvious to all.

Since the very bizarre beginning of her 2016 campaign, each step has been a train wreck, not withstanding the news media carnage while foot chasing her around while she rides aimlessly in her rented econoline van.

Sure, we laugh at the meetings with ordinary folks in random areas of Iowa that are actually orchestrated with campaign operatives playing the roles of Hawkeye voters.  HRC, who has reportedly not driven a car sine 1996 (yeah, she is just like you) rolls up to your local fast food outlet like it is an everyday occurrence.

By the way, have you seen Bill around?  Have you ever wondered the last time they slept in the same bed together like 99% of most other married couples?  Oh, they are in the 1%; I almost forgot.

Everything about this woman presented in the mainstream media is propaganda, except now that the curtains have been pulled on the Clinton Global Initiative, it may be a matter of fraud.  Frequently lying to the American public is certainly not considered virtuous as the Founders hoped our leaders would be. Selling access to a public official usually ends in jail, but somehow it seems jail is not a place a political darling will end up, although former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell may quarrel with you.

But selling weapons to friends and enemies without proper Congressional approval could be considered treason based upon who actually got the weapons.  Yes, ever widening pay to play scandal has entered the realm of international arms dealing, as reported by DC Whispers.  The more we learn, the closer we come to preparing a cell in the Graybar Hotel next to Mr. McDonnell.

A logical look at Hillary Clinton would conclude she has been champion of distortion and failure throughout her career.  However, if you approach it from what she would deem successful, from a basis of the teachings of Saul Alinsky and Cloward and Piven, you consider her a rousing success.

For those of us who are stewards of the Founding Fathers, who believe in limited government, liberty, freedom and the right to pursue happiness free from excessive government intervention through regulation and taxation, she is in no way, shape or form is this an individual we should even remotely consider for our highest office. She is a champion of distortion and failure, an oppressor of the little people and someone who lies at the shift of the wind to bolster her personal position.

She is a crony, a phony and as it turns out, a very dangerous individual to the freedoms American holds dear.

As noted by Cleon Skousen in his brilliant book "The 5000 Year Leap, "The most promising method of securing a virtuous and morally stable people is to elect virtuous leaders."

Without question, this does not describe Hillary Clinton.

Dealbreaker

Michael Ramirez/Investors Business Daily

Contrary to what is being spun by the lamestream media darlings who shower the citizenry with volumes of propaganda in support of their anointed leader, when the President of the United States blatantly lies to the American people regarding proposed legislation only as a bait and switch to implement a government program which limits choice and freedom, it is in fact a big fucking deal.

It boggles the mind to think under what mindset Obama was able to convince a majority of the voting public to support him in his effort for re-election, but there is little doubt Obama would have been unsuccessful if the voters knew now what they should have known then.

Shame on them for not taking the responsibility as a citizen to adequately assess the candidates. But for the sitting President to act in such deception of governance, and this is going on in many levels from Bengahzi to sanction negotiations with Iran, the assessment of being a liar transitions to potential articles of impeachment, for which we have previously called for.

No quarter will be provided for the Obamacare Dozen, a group of Democrats seeking delay of the individual mandate because their re-election is now looking shaky. Each and every single one of these morons, and I'll add Sen. Diane Feinstein (D:CA) to the list, supported Obamacare and welcomed the opportunity for federal government bureaucrats to make health care decisions for you in your stead because of your ignorance on governing yourself.

The same goes for Hillary Clinton.  Today, Bill Clinton weighed in on the situation suggesting Obama make some adjustments, but this is simply cover for Hillary 2016, as both of the Clinton's firmly supported Obamacare.

It should be understood thoroughly that any efforts from Democrats at this juncture to fix or delay the law is only presented to enhance their political position for the next election and does not come from a position change on the law.

It is worth noting that those who created the problem are rarely those who should be charged with fixing the problem.

An editorial in Investors Business Daily notes All These Lies And Incompetence, Too, but the truth is  this entire affair was all by design, including orchestration of the failed roll out.  These people are not operating nincompoops; they wish for there to be chaos causing a worried public to seek help from an all to willing government to further increase power and control over the citizenry.

With respect to Obamacare, it is the single payer system that is the goal, and with a distraught and frightened public, it will sadly arrive much sooner than originally thought.  The only hope is for the Congress to reassert their power and put the Commander in Overreach back in his proper place.

Sadly, with a untrustworthy candidate spewing lies left and right, the voters failed to accomplish that.

No Quarter

Opportunities to save America from Obamacare, a governmental takeover of our health care system sprinting along the road we will have traveled arriving at the socialist utopia progressives have forever dreamed of, are few.

Certainly, those of us freedom fighters can appreciate the efforts of those will have stood in the face or tyranny, inclusive in particular of Mike Lee, R:UT, Rand Paul, R:KY, Marco Rubio, R:FL, Loise Gohmert, R:TX, Michele Bachmann, R:MN, and Ted Cruz, R:TX.  They are fighting for us!

It is important for the noise to be extracted from the truth, which is difficult for the average citizen to fight through amid all the lies and distractions.

For example, former president Bill Clinton was on ABC News This Week this morning telling untold lies.  Clinton said the following:  "I've never seen a time-- can you remember a time in your lifetime when a major political party was just sitting around, begging for America to fail?"

As a matter of fact, yes I can, recalling the Democrats cheering problems in Iraq the Bush administration was having pre-surge, calling for us to retreat while snatching defeat from the arms of victory. Then, there were the rules of engagement qualifications.

Actually, by advocating for a governmental takeover of health care, one would be seeking to limit freedom of choice and liberty of the citizenry, which I deem being complicit in seeking and assisting in the failure of America.

Clinton further offered that "If I were the president, I wouldn't negotiate over these draconian cuts that are gonna take food off the table of low-income working people, while they leave all the agricultural subsidies in for high-income farmers and everything else," he said. "It's chilling to me. The entitlement spending is going down as the unemployment rate drops and the economy grows. Half of the deficit's already disappeared. The rest of it just seems almost spiteful."

The country is bankrupt, and food is not being taken off the table for low-income working people, which is actually part of the reason why the country is bankrupt; unnecessary and growing entitlements.  What is significantly harming the low-income working people is the lack of being able to work, as economic policies of the Obama administration has devastated the work force, particularly for low level and minority workers.

Entitlement spending, with a record number of folks on food stamps, is not "going down".  On top of that, many folks who cannot find work have shifted from the unemployment rolls to the disability rolls, receiving assistance all along the way. Although statistically growing at minuscule levels, the economy is shambles, and the deficit has in no way disappeared.

What is spiteful and appalling is to speak this type of dishonesty to the American people in effort to seek continuance of the power these individuals have; the country be damned. As such, the former president has identified himself as a dishonest broker. Who knew?

I continue to hear how republicans are blocking the legislation from moving forward.  If only that were true.  Sadly, several GOP members are fighting Sen. Cruz harder than some Democrats.

Obamacare is an encroachment on personal liberty and freedom, a vehicle for massive government control of the citizenry, a road we are traveling to a single payer system.  While progressives demand we wave the flag of surrender, every legally permissible opportunity to thwart Obamacare must be taken.

The fight is on; offer these dishonest opponents of freedom No Quarter!

A Lie Cannot Live

Fifty years ago today, Martin Luther King Jr. stood at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and delivered among the most revered speeches in our nations history; his "I Have A Dream" speech.
Martin Luther King Jr./PHOTO gmzchoir.com
King, an American hero in the highest regard, would no doubt be pleased at many levels of the progress in terms of racial discrimination he spearheaded.  The approach taken by King, exhibiting his Christian beliefs engaging in non violent and respectful action adhering to the rule of law, is a case study of leading by example.

Sadly, as we have noted, many of those who claim to follow in his footsteps commonly take action in violation of the very principles King championed.  These are actions in contrast of a King.

King would no doubt be appalled at the hijacking of his legacy by those who passionately ask the black community to embrace entitlements and victimhood.  Equal diginity, King would say. King sought an even playing field for everyone to have the same opportunities to live the American dream, not wealth transfer or reparations.  King sought free market solutions, not reward without the dignity of hard work.

Certainly, the issue in the black community would deeply sadden King the most is the breakdown of the family unit, which King thought imperative to solidify the future of our youth.

In events marking the anniversary today, appalling rhetoric was spoken, inclusive of Conservative Supreme Court Justices being compared to the KKK and former President Bill Clinton taking time out in promotion of Common Core and global climate change.

President Barack Obama, while presiding over the highest black unemployment in decades and escalating racial tension in part fueled by the despicable race baiting behavior of many in the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin shooting including Obama,  remarked how King would be on board with the job killing legislation of Obamacare.

Dr. Alveda King, King's niece, would strongly disagree, noting King was vehemently opposed to abortion and saw it as an evil attack on his community.  In fact, Margaret Sanger, the racist founder of Planned Parenthood, utilized abortion in hopes of eliminating blacks from the planet

How incredibly sad this day and the memory of Dr. King was marred in such fashion.  Interestingly enough, obviously due to politics, the nations only black Senator, Republican Tim Scott of South Carolina, was not invited to the festivities.

Dr. Benjamin Carson wrote an editorial in The Washington Times with some poignant points on the status of the black community while Investors Business Daily has a strong editorial in today's edition titled Princelings of Civil-Rights; how members of the movement corrupted MLK's 1963 dream.

The divisive redistributionist infiltrator of markets we currently find in the presidency fails to follow the dream all principled people shared with King.  The same can be said for those who seek to profit from race baiting and playing on the fears of victimhood.

MLK, in the name of love, changed the world with dignity.  It would serve us all, on this day, to implement the principles of freedom for all, judging every person on the content of the character, not the color of their skin.

As Dr. Alveda King said, "A lie cannot live".

The Truth Hurts

For a few years now, what is up seems down. Propaganda is rampant, and for the low information voting public, they are sold a series of falsehoods by a complicit media and, at the end of the day, have no earthly idea what is real or not.

The mirage is not only playing out in politics, but is a real issue in society and has even impacted the world of sports, as evidenced by the Lance Armstrong story and the bizarre events surrounding Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o.

Michael Ramirez/Investors Business Daily

America cheered as Lance Armstrong won all those Tour de France cycling races, and embraced his Livestrong charity efforts, which have no doubt helped millions of people.  Cycling has been plagued by doping scandals, and while there were many accusations that swirled around Armstrong, he seemed above the fray.  Not so fast my friend.  Armstrong, who sued some of his accusers, has admitted doping, and now has joined Oprah on the couch to seek forgiveness.  His actions suggest he might not be a good guy, but at any rate he is discredited and I really don't and won't pay him any mind.

The Manti Te'o story is really bizarre, and sad.  The media failed miserably on this story, and it is sad that an individual can be duped to the scale Te'o was.  The story has many tentacles; an individual longing for relationship, those who aim to associate with high profile celebrities or athletes looking for an undeserved piece of the pie bordering on extortion and a media who seeks to present a narrative that enhances opportunities for ratings.  I don't think Te'o played a role in the hoax, although I think the events will negatively affect his draft status, which could cost him some change.

Political lying is certainly not new, and really seemed to reach a pinnacle when President Clinton lied about having sex with Monica Lewinsky.  No such luck on that, for Obama has really taken obfuscation to previously unseen levels.  With the media lap dogs cheering him on, and being criminally complicit in their lack of reporting the truth, the lies continue unabated by the traditional media.  Alternative media, which accurately present the facts, are swarmed over and discredited by those who seek to perpetrate the fraud.

Political leaders in the past have utilized propaganda to run roughshod over a uninformed citizenry, and the results have been tyrannical and deadly.  Perhaps we don't care what Lance Armstorng is doing, but we damn sure better pay attention to an oppressive political regime who aims to reduce your liberty and freedom.

Our political leaders are destroying our future, while publicly proclaiming everything is fine and the economy is improving.

Is that the truth knocking at the door?

Inside Attack on America: Agenda 21

The American economy is extremely fragile, in large measure to seemingly wreckless actions taken by the Obama administration and the FED. Far beyond that, with tentacles any Octopus would be proud of, Uncle Sam and all our liberties are under full scale attack from within, a sinister series of actions by extremely well funded socialists masking as environmentalists, economists, clergy, higher education, health care and governmental officials, seizing your individual rights under the mask of political correctness for the benefit of the collective.

Ten years ago, I would have found myself guilty of hanging upside down in the crazy tree considering these items. But as I take note of the events currently taking place, which have been underway for decades but have accelerated under President Obama, I find our world is what is upside down and common sense has caught the last train to Clarksville.

This is the first on a series examining how particular aspects of our governance is expanding and abusing governmental authority beyond the framework of our Constitution. You may find, unknowingly, you have been cheering on the loss of your own freedom.

The focus of the first of several installments deals with an evil implementation of social justice, Agenda 21.

Developed by The United Nations, at the UN Rio Earth Summit in 1992 Agenda 21 was presented for endorsement by UN member nations "as a global plan of action for sustainable development," which aims to implement social justice through managing community development, industry, cultural and individual behavior. At the summit, President George H. W. Bush, who I voted for, signed on to Agenda 21. In 1993, President Bill Clinton, who I did not support, formed the Council For Sustained Development to Implement Agenda 21. Hence, regrettably, both parties are involved.

Although it is detailed, essentially, Agenda 21 efforts to contain the spread of development across the globe, leaving as much land as possible pristine. Further, through regulation by bureaucrats at the UN, "unsustainable" environments, development which fails to meet certain criteria, must be reversed for the global good. Four aspects of Agenda 21 are economic, natural resources, institutional and social. There is a large contingency of individuals, corporations, governmental agencies and organizations on board, and many may not recognize the nefarious ambitions at the heart of the effort. Among those behind it are George Soros, Al Gore and the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), which interacts with local governments to implement policies. You would be shocked at how successful the have been, as some 600 cities have signed on to implement policies outlined by Agenda 21.

Federal legislation under Cap and Trade was a product of Agenda 21, with Fannie Mae, reaching far outside the real estate finance arena, purchasing a trading exchange to house the system. Financing was thought to be provided by Shore Bank, a Chicago based bank which reportedly met its demise once Cap and Trade failed. Unfortunately, as President Obama typically does, the Congress was bypassed by the Obama appointed Czars, who are unaccountable to the the people, and extensive climate change regulations were implemented with the EPA utilized as the enforcing mechanism.

A recent example of the natural resource segment (toxic chemicals) of Agenda 21 would be the new extensive lead based paint regulations put forth by the EPA should property owners with homes built before 1976 wish to update your home in an effort to further the formation of a green economy. Beyond lead based paint, new expensive regulations regarding air conditioning systems, roofing, windows and doors must adhere to standards put in place to curb global warming, which of course, is a vehicle for the global transfer of wealth.

Former Washington Redskin tight end Clint Diddier, now a farmer in retirement, recently spoke with FOX News David Asman, and he is not happy about regulations on farmers in his home state, nor should he be:

Glenn Beck presented Agenda 21 to his FOX audience last summer:

Tentacles of government intrusion under Agenda 21 focus on restricting energy usage, health care opportunities, population growth and private property rights, the latter being a central cog in the formation of our country. Better stated, individual freedom is being confiscated.

Freedom Advocates houses a top notch website which thoroughly encompasses the enormity of Agenda 21, and fortunately, they are not blinded by political correctness and have a keen understanding of the evil end game, which is the loss in American sovereignty and individual rights as we join a global structure. Please check it out.

Our Founding Fathers would be rolling in their graves to think Uncle Sam is legislating away our sovereignty over a hoax conceived to advance a governance based on the collective. Opposition to this agenda is growing, and a big recent victory came with the Republican National Committee passing an Anti-Agenda 21 resolution. But the fight is far from over.

I should have paid much more attention when George H. W. Bush discussed a new world order. At least I am awake now, and hopefully you are too. Our opponents are the same cast of characters you have come to know over the past few years, and they must be defeated. Please join the fight against those who wish to take our individual freedom and the sovereignty of our nation under the false premise of global warming, a move to the collective under a massive transfer of wealth.

What The Hell Are You Doing?

Obtaining absorption of the weekly news cycle is nothing short of head scratching these days, with all the absolute non sense taking place across the fruited plain. However, it is particularly distressing when it includes folks have been thought to be operating from a common sense perspective. This week, we had three big eye brow raisers, and in response, we quote America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani; What The Hell Are You Doing?

Hey Newt Gingrich, what the hell are you doing?

Mitt Romney seems to be increasing his foothold on securing the GOP nomination after victories in Iowa and New Hampshire, so in seeming desperate acts, Newt Gingrich unleashed a barrage of attacks on Romney and the action of the firm he helped found, Bain & Company, a venture capitalist firm. While there are several legitimate avenues of attack on Mitt, Gingrich choose to hit Bain and the business practices of venture capitalist firms as evil, job killers and something Americans despise.

Rudy Giuliani, joining Steve Doocy, Alisyn Camerota and Eric Boling on Fox & Friends, is far from amused. Take a listen:

As sad as that is, particularly from "the smartest guy in the room", Texas Governor Rick Perry felt compelled to join in, calling Bain a "vulture" capitalist firm. Come again?

Hey Rick Perry, what the hell are you doing?

Venture capitalist firms like Bain are integral to our capitalist system and free market enterprise. For mid sized firms that are losing their way, venture capitalist firms, typically invited in by shareholders, provide guidance, operational expertise, asset management and capital, generally for a piece of the company in an effort to help the company survive and thrive.

It is a risky venture, with marginal success rates. However, when successful, payoffs can be huge. Not just for the venture capital firm, but for the company, the employees, shareholders and in most cases, the communities which house the business operations. For Bain, companies like Staples, Clear Channel and The Sports Authority are three Bain Capital success stories.

Within 20 miles of my office, these three companies alone employ an estimated 500 people, who need places to live, work and play, which is most beneficial to the economy here in Orlando.

Bain Capital and similar firms should be appreciated for playing a vital role in helping assist in the expansion of commerce, which is vital for a capitalist system to bear fruit. Gingrich and Perry should be well aware of this, and should be called out for taking the approach of the socialist Democrats in railing against capitalism and free markets. I just did.

Hey Mitt Romney, what the hell are you doing?

In the aftermath a big victory in New Hampshire, Mitt Romney gave an outstanding victory speech, hitting all the chords conservatives are longing to hear. If we could trust this is what we would get with a Romney presidency, I think everyone would be on board. We cannot, as the very next day, Romney offered the following:

In the general election I’ll be pointing out that the president took the reins at General Motors and Chrysler – closed factories, closed dealerships laid off thousands and thousands of workers – he did it to try to save the business.

Obama violated countless free market principles in "saving" General Motors and Chrysler, most notably in the shafting the bondholders and closing down of dealerships with ties to the Republican party. The interference in the marketplace by Obama, exhibiting crony capitalism by picking winners and using tax payer funds to benefit friends and campaign supporters, are actions to be strongly condemned, not celebrated. Rush Limbaugh appropriately hammered Romney on his remarks.

Hey Haley Barbour, what the hell are you doing?

I do not know where the "tradition" of pardoning folks after a term in office came from, but I do not find a compelling reason to continue it. Certainly, there would be cases where such an action is warranted, and that is fine. One of the most celebrated cases came with Bill Clinton pardoning Marc Rich, which I find an error.

Unfortunately, this practice is not confined to Democrats. Enter Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour. Barbour has done a very good job as Governor of Mississippi, and was considered a potential GOP presidential candidate. As he concluded his term, he pardons several individuals that need to remain behind bars.

Media outlets have outlined the cases of a handful of these folks, and a Judge has blocked the release of those still incarcerated.

Although Barbour is "very comfortable" in his decision, I am very comfortable in finding him in gross error and condemning his action. Based upon actions such as this, the practice of knee jerk pardoning bus loads of criminals should cease. If these folks cannot do the time, they should not have committed the crime.

Perhaps common sense will re-assert itself this week, but I doubt it.

No Compromise on Financial Principles

Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform, has all the sudden seemingly got everyone all fatootsed by ATR's Taxpayer Protection Pledge.

A few weeks back, my Uncle, a liberal Democrat to be sure, sent word of his displeasure, wondering how a Republican can sign a pledge to follow an individual or organizations wishes irregardless of current events? I am left bewildered by the thought of his ignorance of the extensive tentacles of George Soros.

Van Jones, the smooth talking former Obama Green Jobs Czar and a committed Communist, slams the pledge:

"There's nothing wrong with having an orientation that you are reluctant to raise taxes. That is not the problem. The problem is, when you surrender your judgement as an elected official who has taken an oath to the Americna people to a single individual and sign a separate loyalty pledge away from the U.S. Constitution, that says 'no matter what happens in my country I will never let America increase tax revenues.' I think that's wrong."

Jones is a smart guy and has a point, but in his actions diverts from his thought process as he is signed, sealed and delivered for Obama, who is arrogantly circumventing the Constitution on what seems to be a weekly basis.

Former President Bill Clinton has even joined the chorus of critics, no doubt in timely deliverance as the debt ceiling date of proclaimed apocalypse approaches. The Democrats are eager to go back to the tax levels of the Clinton years, but forget about the trillions of dollars of senseless entitlement spending both parties contributed to but has exponentially expanded under Obama and tyrannical regime.

What is all this actually about? CNBC's Larry Kudlow sits down with Norquist and former Senator Archer Davis (D:AL) to sort it out:

Kudlow has it right in his assumption.

As it turns out, I am against elected officials singing pledges of this sort. However, the Democrats screaming about this are disingenuous at best.

I am reminded of the Overton Window theory. The Obama administration has spent money with wreckless abandon for years but now seeks compromise by aiming to join Republicans in a bipartisan effort to slightly move back spending (grab a mile and give back a furlong) while hoping Republicans agree to slight revenue enhancements (tax increases) to help cover the costs of exponential expansion of entitlements.

Those sneaky Dems also hope they can create dissension in the GOP over this. For example, GOP 2012 candidate Michele Bachmann has thus far not signed Jim DeMint's Cut, Cap and Balance pledge. She may not, but I have no doubt where she stands, and will vote, on this issue based on her record.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant. There are Progressives on both sides of the aisle. Thanks to these anti capitalist elites, our country is heading toward insolvency which puts our basis of pursuing life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in jeapordy. They must be purged.

While I may not sign the ATR pledge, I will pledge to encourage that any Republican voting for any tax increases or to raise the debt ceiling without substantial victories will have a primary challenger.

It would serve all GOP members engaged in these discussions to hear the words of Ronald Reagan loudly!

"It is time to reawaken this industrial giant, to get government back within its means, and to lighten our punitive tax burden. And these will be our first priorities, and on these principles, there will be no compromise."

NO COMPROMISE!

A King In His Own Court

Andrew Cuomo, who is running for Governor of New York, thinks quite highly of himself. Curtis Sliwa goes on the offensive to call Cuomo out at a recent convention of Democratic leaders.

Need a refresher on the origins of the housing crisis?

Andrew Cuomo was Housing and Urban Development Secretary under President Bill Clinton and forced Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to make loans to low income candidates who under normal criteria would fail to get loans. This practice directly led to the collapse of the housing market when values backed up, unemployment rose and those sub prime loan recipients failed to satisfy their obligations.

Cuomo was not done. In the aftermath of the crisis, he implemented the Home Valuation Code of Conduct, which has turned the appraisal market upside down, killing jobs and lowering the quality of appraisals under non regulated appraisal management companies. This law is a direct assault on free market capitalism and allows the government, rather thean the free market, to be the heavy hand in picking winners and losers.

Cuomo represents that government, under elected officials who "are much smarter than you are", implement regulatory action that business owners must adhere to, raising costs to all associated. These regulatory actions serve as a tax, which increases costs, limits choice and hampers economic activity.

Andrew Cuomo is a candidate who has caused excessive damage to our economic system through his efforts in affirmative action and has not been held accountable. I hope the voters in New York will do just that, hold Cuomo accountable and deny his bid to become Governor of New York.
