Tonight, until the GOP's caves, we sit on the precipice of a government shutdown.
What we will ever do without all those government programs and federally funded boondoggles? If we can do without the non-essential personnel, are they essential in the first place? Shut it down!
While we wait, why don't we get the essentials, brilliantly chronicled in a most entertaining essay from a master of political commentary and wit, Neil Cavuto of FOX News Channel; Take a listen:

No Quarter
Opportunities to save America from Obamacare, a governmental takeover of our health care system sprinting along the road we will have traveled arriving at the socialist utopia progressives have forever dreamed of, are few.
Certainly, those of us freedom fighters can appreciate the efforts of those will have stood in the face or tyranny, inclusive in particular of Mike Lee, R:UT, Rand Paul, R:KY, Marco Rubio, R:FL, Loise Gohmert, R:TX, Michele Bachmann, R:MN, and Ted Cruz, R:TX. They are fighting for us!
It is important for the noise to be extracted from the truth, which is difficult for the average citizen to fight through amid all the lies and distractions.
For example, former president Bill Clinton was on ABC News This Week this morning telling untold lies. Clinton said the following: "I've never seen a time-- can you remember a time in your lifetime when a major political party was just sitting around, begging for America to fail?"
As a matter of fact, yes I can, recalling the Democrats cheering problems in Iraq the Bush administration was having pre-surge, calling for us to retreat while snatching defeat from the arms of victory. Then, there were the rules of engagement qualifications.
Actually, by advocating for a governmental takeover of health care, one would be seeking to limit freedom of choice and liberty of the citizenry, which I deem being complicit in seeking and assisting in the failure of America.
Clinton further offered that "If I were the president, I wouldn't negotiate over these draconian cuts that are gonna take food off the table of low-income working people, while they leave all the agricultural subsidies in for high-income farmers and everything else," he said. "It's chilling to me. The entitlement spending is going down as the unemployment rate drops and the economy grows. Half of the deficit's already disappeared. The rest of it just seems almost spiteful."
The country is bankrupt, and food is not being taken off the table for low-income working people, which is actually part of the reason why the country is bankrupt; unnecessary and growing entitlements. What is significantly harming the low-income working people is the lack of being able to work, as economic policies of the Obama administration has devastated the work force, particularly for low level and minority workers.
Entitlement spending, with a record number of folks on food stamps, is not "going down". On top of that, many folks who cannot find work have shifted from the unemployment rolls to the disability rolls, receiving assistance all along the way. Although statistically growing at minuscule levels, the economy is shambles, and the deficit has in no way disappeared.
What is spiteful and appalling is to speak this type of dishonesty to the American people in effort to seek continuance of the power these individuals have; the country be damned. As such, the former president has identified himself as a dishonest broker. Who knew?
I continue to hear how republicans are blocking the legislation from moving forward. If only that were true. Sadly, several GOP members are fighting Sen. Cruz harder than some Democrats.
Obamacare is an encroachment on personal liberty and freedom, a vehicle for massive government control of the citizenry, a road we are traveling to a single payer system. While progressives demand we wave the flag of surrender, every legally permissible opportunity to thwart Obamacare must be taken.
The fight is on; offer these dishonest opponents of freedom No Quarter!

It seemed obvious USC Coach Lane Kiffin was living on borrowed time, seemingly cemented with the home loss to Washington State a few weeks back. But after a 62-41 loss at Arizona State last night, Kiffin was terminated, in an earlier than expected move. Reminiscent of President Obama, Kiffin operates with a puzzling arrogance considering his actual accomplishments are limited and the results of his efforts have had negative impacts, with one huge exception; Kiffin has been exposed and fired. The vacancy at USC opens up a coaching search that will canvas both the NCAA but the NFL as well, as USC is among the most coveted coaching jobs that exists in the game. Steve Sarkasian at Washington seems a favorite, but his Huskies are beginning to hit on stride and may be on the verge of big things, so he may not be interested.
It was a bad night for USC, but sadly, hidden behind Kiffins firing, was the potentially serious injury to star wide receiver Marquise Lee. Lee is the best receiver in college football, without a top level quarterback to get him the ball. In retrospect, given the debacle at USC, he should have gone pro. In the loss at ASU last night, it appears Lee has significantly injured his knee. Our prayers are extended for this young man and we hope for a full and speedy recovery.
Georgia Tech was abysmal at home versus Virginia Tech, with numerous mind boggling false start penalties, which was surprising considering the Jackets are a veteran squad....North Carolina go blasted at home by East Carolina, which is simply stunning as the Heels were thought to perhaps be a sleeper team nationally by many.....Iowa, after dropping the opener to No. Illinois, has won four straight games....OU handles Notre Dame in South Bend, and while it is still difficult to actually gauge the Sooners, this was a big win....Miami soundly defeated USF, and then called them a dirty team, which I agree with although this seems a carryover from the previous staffs and not what Willie Taggart is hoping to project.... Ohio State got by Wisconsin, but the Buckeyes still look vulnerable to me with deficiencies on both sides of the ball....Washington and Stanford both won impressively, as did Oregon in a driving rain storm....Alabama swarmed Ole Miss, who I thought had a chance before learning Rebel QB Bo Wallace made comments disrespecting the Tide, which is never a good idea as the Rebels hopefully learned the hard way having been shutout 25-0....The Texas Aggies outlasted Arkansas, who fought hard in another game highly impacted by rain, and yes, Mazziel was brilliant once again....Florida, despite losing their best player on each side of the ball to season ending injury, smothered Kentucky and looks no worse for the wear.....UCF played strong in a nationally televised showcase game at home in Orlando versus South Carolina, who barely won the ball game despite trailing 10-0 at the half.... Georgia hosting LSU was epic, with the Dawgs squeaking 44-41 between the hedges.....Illinois in looking much better than expected.....West Virgina was off to a bad start after not settling on a quarterback, but going with FSU transfer Clint Trickett, which they should have done from the start, helped get them a home victory over #11 Oklahoma State, who also has no idea who their quarterback is and is paying for that lack of decisions making (hint: Clint Chelf is the guy)......It was finally great to have an afternoon and evening of some good contests, which has been lacking in recent weeks.
For those who may be new readers, we offer game analysis of the two teams we have allegiance with; Florida State and Nebraska, in the order their games were played over any given weekend.
On a sun splattered day in Chestnut Hill at Boston College, the youth of the Florida State Seminoles was highlighted as the Seminoles outlasted an upstart, but vastly inferior, Boston College team, winning 48-34. On one hand, the FSU faithful should be happy, because in recent years this likely would have been a loss. But, after starting very slow, and in a 3-17 hole, the team did not panic and got going to take a 24-17 halftime lead. FSU seemed to coast from there, but give the Eagles credit as they continued to battle to the very end. The BC staff did a great job off a bye week to keep the youthful and mistake prone Seminoles off balance, particularly on the defensive side. While the play of QB Jamies Winston was once again stellar, the run game was weak, which is concerning. There were many youngsters out on defense, and it showed by missed assignments and blown coverages. However, some of these young guys played well, most notably DB's Nate Andrews and Jalen Ramsey. The kick coverage teams were awful, and it led directly to 14 BC points. There is time for FSU to clean this stuff up, but if not, the track meet at Clemson will likely not go the way of those with face paint. The Seminoles welcome what appears to be a much improved, and undefeated, Maryland team to DOAK on Saturday, where sleepwalking once again could lead to a hair raising afternoon off an anticipated 3:30 kick. I am on notice, and therefore, the staff should be as well.

Enjoyed the Fresh Air on Cruz Control
Ted Crus, R:TX/Photo CSPAN |
Cruz left the personal attacks behind, attacking Obamacare point by point based upon what we know regarding the ever changing bill as the Secretary shall determine. Epic to be sure.
As expected, arrows flew the way of Cruz from lemming Democrats and deranged left wing progressives, many of whom personally attacked Cruz. Chuck Schumer, D:NY and Senate Majority Leader and despicable individual Harry Reid were two.
In what has become an all too familiar reality, arrows shot at the back of Cruz came from members of his own party, which included the usual suspects. In fact, John McCain took the floor to admonish Cruz. You recall McCain would not dream of doing that when he ran against Obama is 2008, but seems eager to get in the face of Cruz. Pitiful.
As reported by Brietbart, Representative Louie Gohmert (R -TX) sat in the chamber during the entire event watching Cruz talk about liberty and the totalitarian Cuban Communist regime Cruz's own father faced as a teenager. Gohmert is one of the good guys without doubt.
Cruz represented the people who sent representatives to Washington specifically to fight the oppressive and tyrannical government who seek to limit freedom. Those opposed are intoxicated with power, and are illustrative of what is wrong in and with Washington.
Cheers to Ted Cruz; we got your back. It was a pleasure to ride on Cruz Control the over the last day, and your efforts are greatly appreciated. In addition, the decorum you choose to engage provides an example to many of how legitimate differences in opinion can be placed in the public square.
For those seeking Cruz, Paul, Lee and the Tea Party Patriots across the fruited plain to surrender our liberty, the wait will be long. Cruz no doubt channeled to wisdom of Ronald Reagan on this day, who spoke of these battles in his first inaugural speech.
Steps will be taken aimed at restoring the balance between the various levels of government. Progress may be slow—measured in inches and feet, not miles—but we will progress. Is it time to reawaken this industrial giant, to get government back within its means, and to lighten our punitive tax burden. And these will be our first priorities, and on these principles, there will be no compromise.
Thanks to Senator Ted Cruz for standing up for us freedom fighters. Cowboy Up! #DefundObamacare #MakeDCListen #StandWithCruz

A Trap of Indoctrination
Immediately following a brief PTSA meeting tonight, it was meet the teachers.
However, in our first classroom, after some announcements, the playing of The Star Spangled Banner and the reciting of The Pledge of Allegiance, we were treated to the following propaganda video singing the supposed virtues of the Common Core State Standards.
Perhaps you saw in your school, but if not, take a listen.
Interestingly enough, not that it was expected, there was no mention of data mining or any other of the evil lurking inside.
Since this was presented in the classrooms of teachers, detailed questions regarding the Common Core Standards were not able to asked. Even if asked, the teachers were not at liberty to offer any further information than the generalities we already know.
For legitimate inquiry and questioning regarding Common Core, one needs to attend the local school board. But be forewarned; the school board will not appreciate your questioning of their authority.
An example of this is a video all Americans need to see.
A father seeks to question a local school board in a Baltimore suburb regarding Common Core, an education curriculum with hidden tentacles which is being currently being implemented in some 45 states.
Wait until you see the treatment he received:
Common Core, which we labeled as being rotten earlier this year, is an evil effort to ultimately control many aspects of the future for your children; a trap of indoctrination.
As you can see from the video, school officials across the country are not taking kindly to the citizens questioning aspects of the plan and the the objectives found within, which is inclusive of data mining.
It is extremely alarming that a parent was forcibly removed and arrested for questioning Common Core. Since when are questions illegal? We The People are being silenced. This encroachment of our freedom cannot be allowed.
Please be advised; in all and every legally permissible way, I will not comply.

It is time to "Cowboy Up".
When I was a kid, when I thought of cowboys, it was Heath and Nick Barkley of the Barkley family ranch in Stockton, California.
Times are much different today.
When I was a kid, when I thought of cowboys, it was Heath and Nick Barkley of the Barkley family ranch in Stockton, California.
Heath & Nick Barkley |
In these times, those of us on the side of freedom must not only fight the opponent, but fight the double agents who claim to be on our side as well.
This has been quite evident in recent weeks in the fight, led by Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz and Utah GOP Senator Mike Lee to defund Obamacare. It is no longer Republicans versus Democrats on Obamacare, but as noted by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton over at Noisy Room, Tea Party Patriots versus Progressives, from both parties.
Sarah Palin told the 'Gutless and Rudderless’ GOP Establishment to ‘Stop the Ridiculous Hysterics’ and Stand Its Ground Against Obamacare.
As reported in an exclusive interview with Brietbart, Palin said “Open your eyes, America,” Palin continues. “When the full reality of Obamacare strikes home, we’ll thank God that principled leaders like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee took a stand to stop it in its tracks. “But the permanent political class is handwringing and howling that if there’s a government shutdown the media will blame Republicans for it. Here’s a little newsflash, GOP establishment: Whenever anything bad happens, the media blames Republicans for it. That’s not an excuse to roll over and play dead.”
With the GOP establishment and the entire left against the efforts by Cruz and Lee, Palin offers encouragement, tweeting "We have your backs, Ted and Mike! #DefundObamacare" We do to.
Unfortunately, the usual progressive weasels in the GOP are wanting to go along to get along, intoxicated with the power they currently have expressing little concern at the erosion of freedom engulfing the American citizenry seemingly on a daily basis.
With Sen. Cruz scheduled to appear with Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday yesterday, Brietbart reported that Wallace, the host of Fox News Sunday, said that Republicans in Washington were savaging Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) behind Cruz's back before Cruz's appearance on the program to discuss defunding Obamacare.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell knows nothing, and Karl Rove, although not surprised, has no names. Mark Levin and Sarah Palin have called on FOX News to "keep it fair and balanced" and release the names of those who dropped dime. If only they would attack Democrats with the same vigor.
Two GOP members who have been vocal in their opposition to Cruz and Lee are Senator Lindsey Graham, R:SC, and Senator John McCain, R:AZ. I have never been a fan of Graham, who even when talking a big game, like getting to the bottom of the goings on in Benghazi, ends up doing nothing. Senator McCain is a man I had always respected, primarily due to his brave service to our nation. Although not my first choice, I strongly supported McCain in 2008, erroneously encouraged by his selection of Sarah Palin as VP and with vehement opposition to his opponent.
Seemingly since then, McCain has supported Obama more than those in the GOP aiming to defeat him. McCain, who is entertaining thoughts of supporting Hillary Clinton in 2016 and who called Cruz, Lee and Rand Paul "wacko birds, is the one who has lost sound mind from the Reagan Revolution he so proudly claims membership in. I now seek his retirement.
Sen. David Vitter, R:LA, is shopping around an amendment which would un-exempt members from an Obamacare carve out, but he is finding little support. As The Wizard points out, it is hard to gain traction when your own supposed team members are so vocal about being double agents.
Enough already. I stand firm in opposition to McCain, Graham, NH Sen. Kelly Ayotte, VA Rep. Eric Cantor, TN Sen. Lamar Alexander, NY Rep. Peter King, Speaker John Boehner, R:OH and NJ Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey among others.
With the monstrosity legislation of Obamacare at our doorstep, there has not been a more important time in many a moon to fight the establishment, those among the ruling class who believe they can provide lawful guidelines collectively for you to best live your life.
Nothing can command more control over you than associations with your health; including food consumption, exercise and fitness, lifestyle management and health options with respect to medicine authorizations ranging from prescriptions to invasive surgical options. and those death panels.
As Palin said; time to get on Cruz Control and put our all the fires unseen.

Distracted Public Should Find Way Back
It is televisions most important night. Who could care?
Although there are a handful of decent folks among the acting community, many are absorbed with self adulation, considering themselves above working America. As we consider the influence the attempt to place over the adoring public, we can look no further than their blindful slobbering love affair with our president.
Sheltered from the dreadful realities of the current economic status of our nation and oblivious to the restrictions in freedom actively being placed on the citizenry, the acting community plays a role in the promotion of the ruling class in through propaganda. The low information voting block are those who can be influenced by those who they see as the Hollywood elite, those of fame and fortune.
This is why President Obama has sought the utilization of Hollywood, the National Baseketball Association and the National Football League in efforts to promote Obamacare, gun control and Common Core. The objective is to feed the consumers propaganda on these issues where the degree of difficulty for the average citizen to decipher the real story exponentially grows.
Please see the following which Aldous Huxley wrote in Brave New World Revisited:
In regard to propaganda the early advocates of universal literacy and a free press envisaged only two possibilities: the propaganda might be true, or the propaganda might be false. They did not foresee what in fact has happened, above all in our Western capitalist democracies – the development of a vast mass communications industry, concerned in the main neither with the true nor the false, but with the unreal, the more or less totally irrelevant. In a word, they failed to take into account man’s almost infinite appetite for distractions.
Only the vigilant can maintain their liberties, and only those who are constantly and intelligently on the spot can hope to govern themselves effectively by democratic procedures. A society, most of whose members spend a great part of their time, not on the spot, not here and now and in their calculable future, but somewhere else, in the irrelevant other worlds of sport and soap opera, of mythology and metaphysical fantasy, will find it hard to resist the encroachments of those would manipulate and control it.”
There certainly is nothing wrong with enjoying the entertainment options available, and like most everyone else, I have my favorites. It is football season.
But our country is in peril, and it is time that along with consuming your favorite hobbies and guilty pleasures, time must be allocated to understand, as Huxley said, the encroachment on your liberty by those who wish to manipulate and control it.
A storm is coming, It is time to fix our seat on the foundations and principles we hold true; our port in the storm. Hear that voice again. Find your way back to what is dear to you; your friends, family and loved ones; and your country.
Find your way back!

NATION: Michigan was most fortunate to win at lowly UConn, who previously lost to Towson, on Saturday night. The Wolverines were physically whipped on line of scrimmage, and coming on the heels of a last second home win over Akron, it seems likely many more losses are coming....Georgia was sleepwalking but took out North Texas.....The Longhorns got a much needed win over K-State...Florida beat hapless Tennessee, but lost quarterback Jeff Driskel for the year, but with an impressive performance by backup Tyler Murphy, all may not be lost....Clemson won at NC State on Thursday night, a tough out for sure....Georgia Tech came from behind to get a big home win versus UNC....Va. Tech needed three overtimes to beat Marshall, over coming poor special teams play in driving rain....Fresno got a big home win over Boise....Pitt outlasted Duke while Maryland blasted West Virginia, and one has to wonder what has happened in Morgantown....Stanford overwhelmed Arizona State, although the Devils fought back from the canvas.....Miami, Ohio State, Baylor and Louisville all put 70+ on overmatched opponents.....LSU beat Auburn, in battle of UGA castoff QB's....Missouri defeated Indiana in a border war...Notre Dame was able to get enough offense to beat Michigan State...USC barely won at home versus Utah State.
For those who may be new readers, we offer game analysis of the two teams we have allegiance with; Florida State and Nebraska, in the order their games were played over any given weekend.
NEBRASKA ANALYSIS:
After a tumultuous week in Nebraska following, not only another blowout loss, but the emergence of a tape with Bo Pelini letting the Nebraska faithful have it, few could wait to get back on the gridiron. As we correctly suspected, Husker signal caller Taylor Martinez was in fact injured with turf toe, which is a significant injury (ended Deion Sanders career). Both Tommy Armstrong II and Ron Kellogg III would see time leading the 'Huskers, and both played extremely well, as Nebraska scored 59 points. Armstrong is the future, and the future is bright. Abdullah played well, but ball security remains an issue. Kenny Bell had his worst game as a Husker, which surprised me. The offensive line was above average, but this opponent was South Dakota State. Defensively, the performance was awful out of the gate. The defensive line failed to clog running lanes, and the Jackrabbits ran up and down the field. The linebackers are hit and miss, and the secondary, outside of a great play of pickoff sprinkled in here and there, was again suspect. There continues to be a multitude of mental breakdowns and assignment busts, and there are more losses coming if they are not fixed. Pelini seems to be aware of this, so it will be interesting to see if he can get it done. The good news is that there is a boatload of young talent, and some of these young players will be very good, most notably Randy Gregory, Josh Banderas and Avery Moss. The Cornhuskers have a much needed week off, one that should be used to shore up the lack of fundamentals we continue to witness on the stop side of the ball.
FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS: The Seminoles welcomed Bethune Cookman to DOAK and used the opportunity to get playing time for many of the backups and work on execution. While BCC is a ranked 1-AA team, they were no match for FSU. OLD Telvin Smith, who we expected to excel in the new defensive scheme employed by new DC Jeremy Pruitt, opened the scoring with a 68 yard pic six. The offense was not sharp early, and the passing game suffered from some drops and mental blunders. The running game is really strong, with the line performing well coupled with extraordinary performances by a stable of running backs, inclusive of the welcomed recent addition of Karlos Williams. Jamies Winston continues to impress, and is really looking strong against blitzing opponents. The defense was smothering, and due to suspensions and and a wider rotation, many of young players got very valuable playing time. It is noted the kicking game has been sound. FSU takes to the road to play at Boston College next week, and this will be another opportunity for the Seminoles to continue to grow and improve en route to the big game at Clemson on October 19.

Carry On For Now
DJIA 9/18/2013/FOX BUSINESS |
This afternoon, the FED announced they will continue to print money and buy bonds, which they would not be engaged in if the economy was in recovery and growing.
This signals clear sailing for stocks, save a geopolitical or terrorist event, as inflation will reign as too many dollars chase too few assets.
Carry on for now. However, when this unwinds, odds strongly favor it will not for the faint of heart.

A Measure of Success
While literally in midst of another domestic terrorist attack in Washington, DC at the Naval ship yard, in what can only be described as a classless and appalling action, President Obama took to the podium in front of a staged crowd marking the five year anniversary of the financial crisis to take credit for saving America from a a depression.
The top priority since his tenure in the oval office began, Obama reiterated his intention of focusing like a laser beam in his effort in building our economy so it works for everyone and laying out a new foundation for economic growth and prosperity. Take a listen:
With an adoring mainstream media failing to once again to question the assessment of the president, the extreme lies and misrepresentations of this speech cannot go unchallenged.
Obama, through the passage of Dodd-Frank, has left most banks paralyzed, as he blames the money center banks for creating the housing crisis through unsavory lending and underwriting practices. Never mind that much of the blame falls on the goings on surrounding the Community Reinvestment Act, which sought to provide loans to lower income individuals and families who under normal established guidelines would fail to qualify. ACORN, a community activist organization Obama supported and worked with, threatened legal action and public ridicule through protest for those considered racist banks who refused to dismiss best underwriting practices and engage in lending to unqualified applicants.
Dodd-Frank also provides consumer protection for those engaging in commerce with banks, given the deemed incompetence of the consumer derived by the government. Forget buyer beware, Obama and big brother are here to help, guiding (and restricting) what banking actions of commerce the consumer will be allowed to engage in. Dodd-Frank does nothing but restrict banking opportunities all while increasing costs of the consumers. It is about nothing but government control, and limits the individual liberty and economic freedom of the citizenry.
In addition, while we are at it, the assault on property rights also adds costs and restricts freedom of property owners through EPA implemented regulatory action, restricted permitting and zoning regulations implemented under Agenda 21. Has anyone replaced an HVAC system lately?
President Obama spoke of how his efforts jump started the flow of credit. Through government entitlements, such as HARP, scores of homeowners have refinanced their mortgages at lower interest rates as banks beholden to the government have been directed to provide this opportunity. The lost money is absorbed by the taxpayers.
Most property owners, due to underwater property values, facing restricted credit and unstable employment, are unable to qualify for loans without government assistance. Credit for small businesses, and mortgage loans free from governmental intrusion, remain quite difficult to obtain.
Some thirteen trillions dollars have been spent, actually borrowed, to "stabilize the economy" and create jobs, and although Obama has no idea, this has been a colossal failure in large measure to his horrendous economic policies. Remove the FED buying bonds, begin some tapering, and see how stable the economy is.
While the administration trumpets a lowering unemployment rate, it should be noted that figure has been grossly manipulated. Millions of Americans, unable to find work, have quit looking, and thus have fallen from being counted in the data sample, thus allowing the rate to fall. The real story can be found by looking at the Labor Force Participation Rate, which tells us that the amount of our citizenry fully employed, not withstanding steady population growth, is at levels not seen since 1978.
When Obama adds it up, he sees a tremendous success. Given his ambition to fundamentally transform the United States of America, his presiding over our decline may be measured as such. For those who appreciate free markets, individual liberty and economic freedom, his tenure has been catastrophic.
But the lies and misrepresentation did not end there. Yet to come was the all too common bitterly partisan and divisive attack on those meddling kids, otherwise known as Republicans.
It is worth noting, again, that for the fist 18 months of the Obama administration, until the election in Massachusetts of Scott Brown, democrats held a super majority. Better stated, the republicans may as well have played golf everyday because they alone could stop no legislative action. Zero.
At this point, the GOP has the house, but the democrats still control the presidency and the senate. Furthermore, against rhetoric to the contrary, a long list of progressive GOP members refrain from contesting Obama on anything, even some having supported much of his plans, inclusive of Obamacare.
The economic chaos Obama speaks of has been caused by his wreckless spending, exploding entitlements and attacks on small business and free markets. Keep in mind it is Obama and his party are and have been in control presiding in the decline of America.
With respect to those who are offering opposition to Obama and his collective ambitions, I joined millions of others in electing representatives charged with defeating his initiatives. It is Obama who has tanked the economy, not a handful of GOP members who oppose his socialistic goals.
Obama is emphatic that he will not negotiate with the GOP on the budget issues, which is odd coming from a man who claimed he would negotiate with any terrorist on the planet. The GOP always get hammered for not compromising, but it is Obama who will not negotiate.
Yes, when you add it up, freedom and prosperity has been lost under Obama's presidency. Five years after he implemented his strategy, with limited elected opposition, the country is far from economically stable and cannot pay its bills. Seemingly under control of the administration, the FED is monetizing our bloated debt, crushing savers and decreasing asset wealth in what has to be considered the reaching of Obama's goal of the transformation of wealth.
The media can cheer Obama on, but those of us in the middle class out here working know what the scorecard says. The economic conditions as a result of the actions taken by Obama have significantly reduced freedom and prosperity, the opportunity to achieve it, and have decreased the standard of living for the greater majority of our citizens.
How is success measured in this case. For Obama, presiding over the transformation of the United States is considered a rousing success. I consider those actions unconstitutional, and therefore seek his impeachment.

The real statistics regarding the economy are staggering, and if the workforce was equal to when Obama was sworn in, the unemployment rate would be closer to 14%. Among the jobs Obama has claimed to create, a mind boggling number have been part time, in large measure due to companies limiting the hours of their employees in preparation of the implementation of Obamacare. Obama championed the flagship legislation he spearheaded in Obamacare, the current top ranked job killer in America.
In a related statistic, ZeroHedge.com illustrates economic realities even the low information crowd can comprehend; reporting a record number of restaurant workers while restaurant companies report decreasing sales. Something is wrong with this picture.
Obama noted an erosion of the middle class, unaware his policies are the culprit. Families are working harder than ever for less as median family income is lower than when he took office, coupled with rising costs in health care, food and of course gas, which has been over $3 a gallon, in contrast to a cost of $1.83 upon him taking office, for over 1000 days.
In fact, Obama highlighted his efforts to insist on new technologies to end our addiction to foreign oil. Given that commentary, it is puzzling that this included reducing domestic drilling where possible, with a byproduct of a reduction in jobs, and increasing purchases from foreign countries. Obama proclaimed we sought to become Brazil's biggest customer for oil. Cheers!
Higher education has been an item Obama has focused on, even having Sallie Mae taken over by the federal government, Sadly, the cost of higher education has never been higher and issues abound.
Much of the stimulus money went to unions organization and green job initiatives, many of whom are now bankrupt. Bridges and roads earmarked for repair remain in need as the money went elsewhere.
Obama was thrilled to save Detroit, except he did not. The city of Detroit has gone bankrupt, and General Motors has been unable to repay Uncle Sam for the bailout. The famed Pontiac Motor Division fails now to exist, and green energy vehicles Obama forced GM to produce have not produced a profit. In a brazen derailment from contract law, bond holders had their money stolen while auto unions were padded. Dealerships that were closed were over 80% owned by GOP donors, a political hit. Ford, meanwhile, turned down the bailout and is outperforming GM.
When Obama adds it up, he sees a tremendous success. Given his ambition to fundamentally transform the United States of America, his presiding over our decline may be measured as such. For those who appreciate free markets, individual liberty and economic freedom, his tenure has been catastrophic.

OUT: Nebraska (17)
VOTES: Nebraska, Texas Tech, North Carolina, UCF, Fresno State, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Northern Illinois.
NATIONAL ANALYSIS: Congrats to ESPN's Lee Corso, who called the UCF upset at Penn State, although many saw UCF had a good chance behind talented quarterback Blake Bortles....Although Washington beat Illinois, the Illini played well....Ole Miss throttled a crumbling Texas, where a coaching change appears imminent. ESPN should be ashamed of themselves for having this game on The Longhorn Network which led to nobody being able to see the game nationally. Texas caused all this realignment mess, by forming this network, so consider my please they got their ass kicked....Terry Bowden and Akron came within inches of pulling off a earth shattering upset at Michigan... Texas A&M fell at home to Alabama in a barn burner, but it was not the fault of Johnny Football, who threw for almost 500 while running for another 100. It was the highest rated afternoon CBS game in 23 years; deservedly so....Oregon throttled visiting Tennessee, giving the Vols their worst loss since the Wilson administration... Wisconsin was robbed by the officials, in what was a simply horrendous weekend for the Zebras....South Carolina dumped Vanderbilt, but did not see much domination by Jadeveon Clowney....Texas Tech disposed of Texas Christian, and their hire of Cliff Klingsbury was outstanding....Auburn got a big home victory over Mississippi State, who can now officially be designated as descending....Minnesota coach Jerry Kill suffered another seizure on Saturday, but he will be fine.
For those who may be new readers, we offer game analysis of the two teams we have allegiance with; Florida State and Nebraska, in the order their games were played over any given weekend.
NEBRASKA ANALYSIS:
As Hail Varsity so accurately described it; Passive Without the Aggressive. Most expected the talented, but very young, Nebraska defense to suffer yardage and points to the potent UCLA offense, but very few thought the Nebraska offense would ground itself down, producing only 21 points in yet another extremely discouraging loss. ESPN color analyst Chris Spielman made very cogent points regarding both Cornhusker units. The offense, with all the weapons, seemed content to toss short outside passes with runs sprinkled in. What was glaring in omission was the running of Taylor Martinez, who although throwing three touchdown passes, was pedestrian. Martinez posses great speed and agility, and while seeking a balanced attack not relying on Martinez to carry the day, disregarding what he can do with his feet is mind boggling. T-Magic performed no tricks, finishing with -13 yards rushing. Recall, he had a 92 yard touchdown run last year versus the Bruins. Perhaps Martinez has a foot injury limiting his abilities, (word has it he was walking with a boot post game) which was kept from public knowledge? Who knows, but even if so, nobody stepped up in his absence. Ameer Abdullah ran hard, but dropped the ball on the carpet at a critical moment if a comeback was in the cards on this day. Speilman, himself a Hall of Fame linebacker at every level, noted the front four on defense were not providing adequate pressure on the quarterback, placing pressure on the secondary. At times, the rush was decent, but as time went on they had real trouble fighting off the blocks, which is troublesome. New flash for DC Papuchis; blitz! Cornnation.com reports DE Randy Gregory said "Somebody's got to step up and be a leader, make plays, whether that's me, a DB, a quarterback, it doesn't matter. Somebody's got to step up and say something." Nobody did. In fact, the mood was deflated on the sideline, even with Nebraska up 21-3. You read that right; UCLA scored 38 unanswered points en route to this scorching, which is become all too commonplace. Nebraska Coach Bo Pelini correctly described the Huskers' second-half performance, across the board, as "horrendous." I agree, and sadly, the folks employed to correct the issue only seem to inform us what we already know. I am fond of this staff, but what transpired on Saturday is simply not acceptable. I am sadly repeating myself. Getting beat fighting like dogs in the boneyard is one thing, but lacking focus, passion, discipline and the mentality (mistakes, penalties and ball security) to give it for 60 minutes is characteristic of poor coaching, and quite simply, this is exactly where the blame for this destructive loss lies. Same 'ol issues, says Steven Sipple of The Lincoln Journal Star. 'Husker great Tommie "Tocuhdown" Frazier has had enough. This Nebraska football team is not void of talent, particularly offensively, and the B1G Ten Conference championship is still within reach. In fact, so is every goal if the stars line up. It will interesting to see how the Big Red responds to this loss. The coaching staff will have to correct the continual errors of basic football during the remainder of the season. There is a new AD in charge at UNL, who has no specific ties to Bo, so if this type of thing continues, a change will likely be in the forecast. ESPN is doing Gameday this weekend at two time defending FCS National Champion North Dakota State, where former 'Husker assistant Craig Bohl is head coach. Tom Shatel of the Omaha World Herald pretty much sums it up; "There are nine games left — five in a decisive November — for Pelini to change the conversation. But short of winning the Big Ten, what happened Saturday will be a stain that the sixth-year coach can't wash off."
FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS:
After weeks of fanfare after the brilliant debut of Jameis Winston on ESPN with FSU at Pitt on Labor Day night, the Seminoles opened at home in front of the faithful eager to get a personal eyeful of "Famous Jameis". Not surprisingly, Florida State came out sleepwalking against a Nevada outfit, although decimated by injuries on the offensive side, that came to win. Winston overthrew a receiver over the middle for his first career interception, and before long, FSU found itself behind 7-3. It was time to wake up. Behind a punishing ground game, Florida State took control of the game, and Winston collected himself and found his grove, tossing a pair of touchdown passes and leading FSU to a safe lead before giving way to the backups, who played well by the way. For the year, Winston is 40-45, with six aerial scores and two rushing touchdowns, with only one interception. Florida State has a deceptively strong running game, led on this day by Devonta Freeman and converted safety Karlos Williams, who bolted 65 yards for paydirt on his first carry. Both Freeman and Williams had over 100 yards. The defense is still finding itself; however, it is showing glimpses of a unit that may be smothering for opposing offenses. Among the many young players looking good is cornerback Jalen Ramsey. FSU will continue to work at consistency with many youngsters gaining valuable experience against Bethune Cookman on Saturday. The season will hinge on the trip to Clemson in a month with conference games with at Boston College and with Maryland in between.

Bo Pelini without answers /Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports |

Never Forget
The World Trade Center |
Have you forgotten?
Windows on the world
Evil spit in our face on the morning of September 11, 2001. As America sought comfort on this horrendous day, most found God watching over us. We had faith, which helped us through the incredible grief. With evil lurking all around us, we found love, courage and faith standing tall in the fire.
Although this is a day of remembrance, we must never forget!
I have not forgotten. Never Forget! Political correctness be damned, we must remain committed to taking out evil wherever it exists, foreign or domestic.
GOD BLESS AMERICA

Deliberate Decline of America
Despite the propaganda performance of a lifetime upcoming with President Obama addressing the nation in a speech being revised by the moment following a series of bizarre and absurd developments, Obama and his administration have been abysmal in their international relations efforts.
This group of romper room players, full of lies and deceit, set to implement the transformation of the United States of America, need to be publicly spanked. Thankfully, there is no shortage of those willing to speak truth to power.
First, enjoy another blistering essay by FOX News Justice Jeanine Pirro:
OUCH!
Conrad Black wrote a depressing editorial in the Washington Sun which all too clearly illustrates the Collapse of American Influence. Black astutely commented; "Not since the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991, and before that the fall of France in 1940, has there been so swift an erosion of the world influence of a Great Power as we are witnessing with the United States."
Rush Limbaugh highlighted two outstanding editorial pieces in recent days that require your attention.
Norman Podhoretz offered an important editorial making a case we have sadly been making for several years, that what appears to be incompetence by President Obama and his staff is no such thing. Rather, it is an orchestrated policy implemented to "turn this country into as close a replica of the social-democratic countries of Europe as the constraints of our political system allowed", with the Cloward and Piven strategy the blueprint.
The destructive behavior by this administration is beyond troubling, and for our brave soldiers, "My Military" as the President called them, to be utilized as political pawns is sickening. War is serious business, and should be left the professionals.
The foreign policy of the administration has resulted in death and ruin across the middle east, and with any luck after this mind boggling debacle in Syria, one which potentially cost America her superpower status, the American people will wake to recognize just how dangerous our Commander in Control really is.
These important essays will provide you a descriptive primer as you prepare for the propaganda performance of a lifetime when Obama addresses the nation this evening. While it may seem like Syria is over after tonight, nothing could be further from the truth.

Deflect the Distraction; Defund Obamacare
Although, through obfuscation, lies and misrepresentation, the left has seemingly succeeded in discrediting Sarah
Palin in the minds of the low information and pop culture voting base, it cannot hide the truth for those who seek it.
Among the many topics on which Palin has always been spot on has been Obamacare, an abomination few have actually read which gives the government unprecedented and dangerous control over the citizenry. Right out of the gate, she correctly assessed the death panels, for which she was called uniformed by many who after the dust has settled admit she was correct.
In full disclosure, I attempted to read the bill, but time did not allow me the opportunity to backtrack in reading the other tree killing bills referenced throughout the some 2700 pages. Furthermore, the phrase "as the Secretary shall determine" left a mind boggling amount of open ended options which prohibit one from actually nailing down what actions will ultimately take place.
A bureaucrat making life decisions for the American citizenry, defined or not, is a reduction in freedom that is unacceptable.
There is an effort, perhaps the only remaining opportunity to stop this encroachment on freedom, by Senators Mike Lee, R:UT, and Ted Cruz, R:TX, to defund Obamacare. Sadly, many in the GOP have refrained form joining in the fight, and we are taking names.
Just as Lee and Cruz are getting rolling, out of nowhere the Obama administration conjures up the immediate necessity to engage in a military strike against Syria. The greater majority of America is somewhat confused why this is immediately critical, particularly since the peril has not affected Obama addressing, not the nation, but his Titleist on the long par 4 on the golf course.
Palin accurately finds the "foreign fiasco" a distraction, and encourages those who aim to protect freedom to "get back to work" and "bomb Obamacare". Palin is correct yet again.
If you recall, the Obama administration never wants a crisis to go to waste, and some folks getting killed over in Syria is certainly no exception. Distortion, distraction and delay are common tactics employed by the administration, as it is all about them achieving their goal by any means necessary.
For those who wish to thwart Obamacare, the time is now, and we must deflect the noise and hear Sarah Palin. Please join Senators Lee and Cruz and get on board in effort to defund Obamacare.
Just sayin'.

NATIONAL ANALYSIS:
Cincinnati got bombed by upstart Illinois, but adding to the pain was the loss of quarterback Munchie Legaux to a gruesome leg injury, and we wish him a speedy recovery....Florida turned the ball over five times, mostly in the red zone, helping the Hurricanes to victory. The Gators stuffed the Canes for the most part, but are not nearly good enough to overcome their poor offensive play in combination with the turnovers....With 19 starters back, expectations were high for Texas to return to national prominence; however, the 'Horns got thumped at BYU, turning coach Mac Brown's seat to boil. There is way to much cash around the Texas program to accept mediocrity, which appears to be where the Longhorns are, and without a victory over OU at a minimum, Brown appears out the door. Reports say the DC is already out....Out the door is where we should expect to see Lane Kiffin, after an inept USC fell at home to a marginal at best Wazzu team, 10-7. The Trojans expect much more, and this loss is one Kiffin likely cannot survive....Oregon traveled across the country and put a beat down on Virginia. Michigan State has a great defense, with DE Shilique Calhoun outscoring a pedestrian at best offense....Tennessee got several big defensive plays in beating Western Kentucky...Ohio State had quarterback Braxton Miller knocked out of the game, but the backup Kenneth Guiton, although lacking the highlight reel plays, is probably the better player.....Michigan dumped Notre Dame as this rivalry sadly approaches an end.....Wisconsin has not allowed a score so far in 2013....Okie State is winning, but not in the fashion I think many expected....OU had difficulty with West Virginia, which was unexpected....Georgia rebounded by putting 41 on Jadeveon Clowney and South Carolina while a fight broke out on the sideline during the game between the defensive coaching staff for the Gamecocks.... LSU continues to better than expected....Johnny Football and the Texas Aggies continue to roll, and will be waiting for Alabama to roll into Aggieland on Saturday...Northwestern looks like a good football team, as we expected.
For those who may be new readers, we offer game analysis of the two teams we have allegiance with; Florida State and Nebraska, in the order their games were played over any given weekend.
FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS:
The Seminoles were idle, but along with the national media, water coolers around the state were buzzing all week about the stellar performance by FSU quarterback Jameis Winston.
NEBRASKA ANALYSIS:
After last week, the Cornhusker faithful had reason to worry after a horrible defensive performance against Wyoming, not thought of as a team with offensive prowess. On Saturday, against a lowly Southern Miss team, the performance was much better. While we can note the progress, we can also conclude what we have seen will not get it done when the high octane of UCLA comes to Lincoln on Saturday. However, is what we have seen the best Nebraska has to offer? I think they have been sandbagging, which I do not agree with. I see plenty of talent on the field, but not much in scheming thus far. I hope Pelini and Papuchis know more than I do. Stanley Jean-Baptiste had a great game and is establishing himself as an All America candidate. Randy Gregory is also showing great promise at defensive end. The offense should be lights out, but thus far, has been rather vanilla, not withstanding they are averaging almost 500 yards and 40 points per game. Again, we shall see on Saturday. The line is veteran, but has not come close to dominating, particularly early. The skill talent is the best the Big Red has had in a decade. Will the Big Red struggle on Saturday, or will they break out and show us what we have expected to see already in 2013. We are fixin to find out. ESPN, at High Noon.

Liars Lack Credibility
President Obama; Commander Clueless At Large |
"My credibility is not on the line," quipped President Obama today regarding his red line he never spoke of regarding the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
Problem is, Obama has no credibility.
"The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America’s and Congress’s credibility is on the line."
In response to appearing most weak, Obama throws the international community under the bus for attempting to set a level of standards in times of conflict that adhere to common decency and follows by hammering the Congress for being part of such an agreement.
The comments are really an effort to discredit Republicans and the use of force by those countries able to successfully conduct military operations. Only when the administration find the international community has the "responsibility to protect" would military action seem appropriate.
From the beginning of Obama's administration and his apology tour, there has not been an international relations plan anyone can make sense of. The Arab Spring was a disaster everyone but he and his staff saw in the making, and the orchestrated events in Lybia has moved the country into lawlessness and ruin and has resulted in Egypt in turmoil.
Furthermore, truth and the adherence to the rule of law have been absent, a critical matter of trust. One could surmise the administration has been less than forthcoming, but the fact of the matter is those the are charged to report to are left facing distortion, stonewalling, mistruths and deception.
This would include negotiations surrounding the auto bailouts, Fast and Furious, the stimulus, the unemployment rate, the NSA scandal, the IRS scandal and most notably, the events in Benghazi where four patriots, including our Ambassador, were murdered.
The administration is not credible, and Rep. Jeff Duncan, R:SC, made the charge while grilling Secretary of State John Kerry, who is an appalling individual, lacking character and credibility, who although serving in, has exhibited great disdain for our military over the years.
I have no access to any military intelligence and can only speculate on the real story from what I can ascertain from following the events, deciphering what I can from media reports and hearing testimonials. But, it seems clear chemical weapons were utilized in Syria.
However, in my opinion, there are a myriad of outstanding questions that must be addressed before we risk the lives of our servicemen. Primarily due to the mind boggling foreign policy of this administration, this situation has really become one were neither side, either the administration of Bashar al-Assad or the rebels made up of factions of Al-Queda and the Muslim Brotherhood, deserves any support from Uncle Sam.
Interestingly enough, we apparently know the issues in Syria like the palm of our hand but were paralyzed at the time and remain quite puzzled at what transpired in Benghazi. We actually thought is was because of a video. I don't buy it, and nor should you.
Going against Assad, as Obama is asking Congress for approval in doing, puts us on the side with the Muslim Brotherhood and factions of Al-Queda, both of whom I consider our enemies. Problem is, I doubt President Obama considers agrees. As Sen. Ted Cruz, R:TX, said, "we should not be “al-Qaeda’s air force."
The entire operation has come about quickly for some reason, with somewhat of a sense of urgency. I wonder why, but then again, there is golf, fundraising and world travel going on.
The case is weak, and we are asked by the same hypocrites who railed against George W. Bush, who had a library of info compared to Kerry's briefcase, to seemingly blindly accept their premise and jump on board.
No such luck with me. It is noted many seemingly knowledgeable people have, including Jennifer Rubin over at The Washington Post.
We should not tolerate the use of chemical weapons and there may be some additional reasons to be involved, but we have not been informed of what they may be. I got some ideas, coming up in a later post.
Certainly, I am not against military action when necessary, provided we go kick the ass out of our opponent and come home. For us to engage, there must be a strategic plan of action, rather than a rushed effort with no stated goal or end game.
In my view, the administration has presented themselves as liars ( perpetrators apprehended and punished in Benghazi?) and thieves (monetizing of the debt), misrepresenting and distorting facts ( no red line drawn). They are not to be trusted, and get no quarter from me.
Obama thinks he is loved from the night sky to the ocean floor, but only he and a few remaining Obamabots still think that. The truth of the matter is, that other than attempting to save what limited credibility Obama and the US still clings to on the world stage, there is no strategic US interest or reason to be involving ourselves, and placing at risk the treasure of our servicemen and women, in yet another middle east skirmish, particularly with no strategic plan.

Johnny Manziel returned to the field, but continued his antics outside of football in the form of taunting and jawing. I have always been a fan of the kid but the behavior is getting to be beyond excusable youthful exuberance....Florida was shaky on offense but shut down a decent offense in Toledo with frosh corner Vernon Hargreaves III looking like a future all star....Miami got off to a dusty start even with 10 offensive starters returning. For those who may be new readers, we offer game analysis of the two teams we have allegiance with; Florida State and Nebraska, in the order their games were played over any given weekend.
NEBRASKA ANALYSIS:
It seemed like a Halloween evening at Lincoln Saturday, as the Big Red escaped with a victory over Wyoming. An extremely young defensive unit was expected to make plenty of errors, and that they did. Although pressure was applied, the 'Skers failed to gather a single sack against Cowboy QB Brad Smith, who was elusive with full command of the pocket. However, although he is not to be confused with Dan Marino, Smith scorched a veteran secondary for over 300 yards. Not a Cowboy strong suit, Wyoming also rushed for over 300 yards, giving them over 600 for the night, which has alarmingly become somewhat commonplace for the 'Huskers. The game plan seemed horrible on the stop side, and it almost cost dearly. On the plus side, some young players looked promising, including Valentine, Moss and Collins up front, and Banderas and Geery at linebacker. In addition, Greg McMullen, who played few plays, looked good and Randy Gregory will be very good when he gets some reps under his belt. LB David Santos seemed lost at times, with Banderas getting extended reps. Three players thought to get time, Afalava, Anderson and Rose, did not play. The 'Huskers seek to employ a multiple defensive unit heavy on an experienced secondary, but the staff did not seem to shift schemes during the game, perhaps due to the Cowboy skill set. Sounds great, but did we mention Wyoming totalled 600 yards? Needless to say, this will not get it, and I place the staff on probation. The offense, although scoring 37 points with 530 yards, looked lethargic and far from lethal, which is concerning considering the returning talent. With the game on the line, the line failed to get a push on a pitiful play call and T-Magic was unable to get the FD with 1 yard to go to run the clock out. This was a big fail, and while the line had their moments, the performance was usual, which is not great. The receivers, particularly Enuwa, did well but the tight end position was not an area of focus. Ameer Abdullah did not "wow", but was solid. Imani Cross made two early errors, then became a monster who did not want to be denied. Terrell Newby, a true freshman, looked outstanding and is a future star. I expected Martinez to have a pinball machine game, but although he threw 3 TD's, he was quite pedestrian. Overall, Nebraska had a big lead but because the defense could not stop Wyoming, the coaching staff allowed the game to be in question in the final moments. For fans expecting great things, and I was one of them, this game turned the stomach and the blame falls directly on the coaching staff, not the newcomer players. The game next week against lowly Southern Miss (Brett Farve is not playing) will be quite telling.
FLORIDA STATE ANALYSIS:
The Jameis Winston legend? As Coach Bowden would say, "we were fixin to find out". We did, and Winston was as advertised, playing exemplary football in his first career game. The Pitt coaches had a good game plan, and caught the Seminoles off guard in the opening series, taking a 7-0 lead on a balanced drive. Behind a touchdown on the road in front of a fired up crowd, unusual for the Panthers, was not ther preferred way for Winston to begin, but with calmness and poise resembling Seminole great Charlie Ward, Winston connected on his first 11 throws as FSU opened up an offensive onslaught. Winston, "who has some things to work on" said smiling FSU head Jimbo Fisher, was 25-27 on the night , for 356 yards and four touchdowns passing, adding a rushing score to boot. Pitt is not Savannah State on the stoop side, returning 9 starters off a unit ranked in the top 20 in total defense a year ago, so what Winston was able to accomplish is stunning. If he can progress game by game and stay healthy, it seems certain he can take the Seminoles to levels not thought possible in the preseason, in part due to the stellar cast of playmakers he is surrounded with. While a veteran line had some difficulties, the skill players were top notch. The elite receiving core, led by Rashaad Greene, was dynamite. Kelvin Benjamin looks grown up football wise to go with his physical gifts, and Kenny Shaw was strong. Nick O'Leary was running loose all night, and got 3 TD's. Defensively, there were some issues, most notably the inability to produce a stellar pass rush without benefit of blitzing. Telvin Smith, as we anticipated, was everywhere, and while he had a few errors, LaMarcus Joyner made several big plays. Up front, the line play was good but inconsistent, which is not unexpected with the new scheme. Jalen Ramsey, starting due to injury at corner, was very impressive and has honors potential. Certainly, there are items to be worked on, but for FSU to blow out a decent team on the road with several new faces, new coaches and new defensive schemes, you have to give the Seminoles high marks. Meanwhile, although it is only one game, with the nation taking notice, the brilliant performance Winston put on has given future opponents great cause for concern and got all Seminoles across the land in very high spirits.
